As many of our Moosers know from Margarita’s post yesterday, Jacob Canada is closing. Everything is on sale right now so you can find some good deals if you are shopping for clothing. This Colour-block elastic wide belt is an utterly fantastic deal and really deserves special attention. Originally $39, the belt is on final sale for just $2.99.
While this is not an item I would purchase as a stand-alone product – just because of shipping fees – this is the perfect item to add to your cart if you are already placing an order. You could also check and see if they have any in stock at your local store.
This belt is an awesome deal for several reasons. First, the belt is a whopping 92.3% off. You seriously do not see deals like that every day. The belt also comes in two colours, black with a dark blue stripe or black with a white stripe. The blue stripe belt is in stock in sizes extra-small through large. The white stripe is sold out in medium but in stock in all the other sizes. Thus, there is a good selection with both size options and colour options.
The belt is strait forward. It is easy to wear because of the elastic webbing and it comes with a metal buckle for durability. The belts are at such a steep discount now that there is no use deciding what colour to buy, you might as well get both. I think the blue would go well with jeans and the white would work well with basic work attire.
Now, if you want your order shipping to your local store, your cart must total $50 or else there is a $9 shipping charge. For home delivery, the free shipping minimum is $100 or you will be charged $9. I suggest checking out some of the other deals at Jacob. Honestly, that is not as easy as it sounds, as many of the items listed are not available online anymore. In addition, I found Jacob Canada’s website painfully slow, so it will take a good measure of patience if you plan to do much shopping there.
I did find this Sweater with pointelle detailing in red available online for $20, originally $69.90. Sizes are limited and reviews are mediocre but I am unsure if those reviews are from when the sweater was a full price or not. There are different expectations for a $70 sweater than a $20 sweater. I suggest checking out Margarita’s post for further ideas as well.
