iTunes Canada has reduced the price for the BBC Sherlock Seasons 1 and Seasons 2. Previously they were $19.99 for the HD seasons, and they are now only $14.99 each. That is a 25% price drop. The Non-HD Seasons have also dropped in price down to $10.99 each.

iTunes has the best price by far for these seasons. If you price compare with Amazon Canada you will see a major difference. Sherlock Season 1 is $24.99 on Amazon Canada for the regular, and Season 2 is $29.99. Those are just for the regular seasons, not the blu-ray.

Lets compare:

• Both season of Sherlock (non-HD) from iTunes: $21.98
• Both seasons of Sherlock (not Blu-Ray) from Amazon Canada: $54.98

As you can see, iTunes certainly has the best deal.

I absolutely love this series, it is my absolute favourite! I got both my seasons on iTunes and just backed up to my external hard drive. Unfortunately, I couldn’t wait for this deal, and bought them at their previous full price! I am a ‘Sherlockian’ and love the way John and Sherlock are represented in this version. Though, I always pictured Moriarty a little older, and taller.

Ever since Carrie Underwood wowed on American Idol, she has come out with great songs and has racked up so many awards. This is her first album since 2009 and many of her fans have been patiently waiting.

Tracks to take a listen to – Good Girl, Blown Away, Two Black Cadillacs, Nobody Ever Told You, and Cupid’s Got A Shotgun, featuring Brad Paisley.

After a free listen to the entire album, you can pre-order Blown Away for $11.99. The album is set to be released on 1st May, 2012, so I imagine the free preview will end just prior to release.

iTunes Canada is offering up free streaming of Jack White’s debut album, Blunderbuss, for a limited time only.

Following his years with The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and The Dead Winter, Jack White has finally released his own album as a solo artist.

After a free listen to the entire album, you can pre-order Blunderbuss for $10.99 and download the song Sixteen Saltines immediately. The album will be released on 24th April, 2012, so I imagine the free preview will end on the weekend.

Free streaming of a new album – way better than listening to a short preview. You can really get a chance to get into the music and decide if you’d like to purchase it or not.

I love these free Apps from Starbucks! This is just another excuse to have another Chai Latte…and pick up a Pick of the Week Card. Some locations seem to run out of these cards quickly. Last week I easily found cards for the Free Scrabble App at the Starbucks location in my local Chapters store.

This movie, based on a Nicholas Sparks book, came out in 2004 and people have been swooning over Ryan Gosling ever since! There’s even a section in the Valentine’s Day features that’s all Ryan Gosling -just in case the Notebook isn’t your choice of movie!

This is one movie that I could watch every Valentine’s Day! Some friends and I were talking about this movie last week and I was surprised that a few girls had never seen this movie. I don’t think my husband would watch this movie with me again – but it’s been a few years since I’ve seen it, so I’ll be downloading it tonight!
