Save Up To $10.50 With New Meal and Snack Coupons @ McDonalds

*BUMP! These coupons are now available for all areas!* Hungry? McDonald has just put out some great new printable coupons. One can dine with a hamburger combo meal for $5.49 and two can dine hamburger combo for $9.98 and lots more for breakfast for snacks.

All of this holiday stuff sure is fun but now I am exhausted. The turkey was fully trimmed and picked over.  The leftovers I cannot stand to eat another bite of has been frozen away to resurface another day as soup or pot pie. It is also New Year’s Eve tonight. I did not plan very well so at some point I need to go get some funny hats if there are any left.

I really have no desire to cook today. I will cook something so we have fun little appetizers for New Year’s when our friends come over. Lunchtime cooking probably just will not happen.

With some new coupons from McDonald’s it is the perfect day let the kid run off some energy in the play place and indulge in a burger. The last time I took my daughter to McDonald’s on a whim, it cost us almost $20 bucks so I am happy for free money. Even better, the coupons can be printed or downloaded to their app. The app is available both at the iTunes store and at the Google Play store- no paper needed.

Here is a list of the coupons available:

  • BOGO Free Specialty Coffee including- McCafe Latte, Mocha, Cappuccino, Single Shot Expresso or Americano
  • $2.99 for a Small Specialty Coffee + a baked pie or 2 baked cookies
  • $3.49 Breakfast Deal (2 coupons) – Buy a McMuffin, Bagel or McGriddles sandwich + hash brown + small basic coffee.
  • 2 Can Dine For $10.48- (3 coupons)- Buy any two Big Mac, Quarter Pounder with cheese, McChicken, Filet-O-Fish or 6-Piece Chicken McNuggets + two medium fries + 2 medium soft drinks.
  • BOGO Free Entree with sides purchase (2 coupons)-  Purchase a Big Mac,Quarter Pounder with Cheese, McChicken, Filet-O-Fish or 6 piece Chicken McNugget + medium fries, large fries, or side salad and get a second same sandwich or chicken nugget free.

iTunes App Store: Rayman Jungle Run iOS Game for Free (Was $3)

Posted by on January 1, 2014 at 2:30 PM

iTunes App Store: Rayman Jungle Run iOS Game for Free (Was $3)

Rayman is back in this awesome platformer for your iOS device!

This deal has me jealous. That’s an emotion I don’t often feel as an Android guy because, I mean, come on, I’m an Android guy. Right? Right. But this one has me jealous. Rayman Jungle Run is one of the top mobile games out there. It’s a bit older now so it’s not in the spotlight or anything but I did notice it recently when I was looking for another Ubisoft game.

I always notice Rayman though because Rayman is awesome. I remember playing Rayman way, way back when it came out in like 1995. That’s almost 20 years ago!! I feel so old. But a new breed of gamers are learning to love Rayman as much as I did with Rayman Origins on handheld, Rayman Legends on console and of course Rayman Jungle Run and Rayman Fiesta Run on mobile platforms.

The whole reason I’m jealous of the iOS crowd is that you can get it on your iPhone or iPad for free and I’m still stuck paying $2.99 like a sucker! Oh well, eventually I’m sure we’ll get a sale but until then, enjoy saving $2.99 you iOS jerks!

I love you all very, very much.

iTunes Canada: 12 Days Of Christmas Freebies

Posted by on December 20, 2013 at 12:00 PM

iTunes Canada: 12 Days Of Christmas Freebies

iTunes has a special treat for you, with 12 days of Christmas freebies of music, apps, books, songs, films and more.

Starting December 26th, once you’ve downloaded the app to your Apple device (iPhone, iPad), each day you will be offered a free gift for download. It doesn’t say that you can use this app on your Apple computer or Macbook, but I was able to download the app to my Mac computer through iTunes, so this is something I’d like to know!

You don’t have to wait until December 26th to download the app either, as it says there are three days until the first gift (which makes the first gift available on Monday). I also saw that for the people who have downloaded it early, they received a free song from Lorde. It pays to download this early and watch for surprise gifts.

Walmart Canada: HOT! Boxing Day Deal $50 iTunes Gift Cards for $39

Walmart Canada: HOT! Boxing Day Deal $50 iTunes Gift Cards for $39

There are some great Boxing Day deals already coming in and here is another one for Walmart Canada. In-store only on December 26th, you will be able to get a $50 gift card for iTunes for just $39!

I know we did a Walmart flyer blog post earlier, but I feel this deal should be highlighted on its own – for those of you brave enough to be queuing at Walmart on Boxing Day morning that is.  Basically you will be saving 22% on the cost of an iTunes gift card which is pretty incredible.

iTunes was a popular item on a few people’s list that I had to buy for this year. You can use them on your computer, iPods, tablets and smart phones and more now. I actually had it on my list as well. I have a couple of birthdays to buy for in January and February and this is the perfect gift to grab for the music lovers on my list!

There is a limited number of gift cards for each store so these gift cards will most likely run out pretty fast.

Best Buy & Future Shop Canada: iTunes $60 Multipack For $55

Posted by on November 17, 2013 at 5:30 PM

Best Buy & Future Shop Canada: iTunes $60 Multipack For $55

This is an ongoing in-store-only deal at Best Buy Canada and at Future Shop Canada. You can always pop into your local store and pick this deal up. Get an iTunes $60 Multipack for only $55. I wanted to blog about it now because it is especially salient, as the holidays are approaching and people get lost for gift ideas. That saves you $5 off the retail value of the cards!

What I like best about this deal is that the pack includes four $15 iTunes cards. You can split the cards among up to four family members and/or friends. Get or make a nice holiday card, and put a $15 iTunes card in it. An iTunes card is always appreciated and will always be used to purchase new music, games, and apps. If you are on a tight budget or do not know what to get someone, it is the perfect gift idea that gives them the freedom to choose, and you still are giving them something nice.

Future Shop Canada: $48 For $60 In iTunes Cards (In Store)

Posted by on September 4, 2013 at 12:00 PM

Future Shop Canada: $48 For $60 In iTunes Cards (In Store)

So this is an in-store only deal but a really great one in my view point. Pay only $48 for a four-pack of $15 iTunes cards which equals $60. You save $12, which is 20%.

I find these deals mega useful! I buy all my music on iTunes and have been known to download a TV series or two on iTunes, like Sherlock (OMG I LOVE IT!) and Avatar: The Last Airbender. I also buy the occasional app on there too. I find it so useful to buy iTunes cards when they are on sale and load them onto my account. It means that when I make a purchase I am essentially saving 20% off the price of whatever I am buying. If I am buying an app or an album on sale the savings are even better, of course.

Do make sure they give you the discount when you checkout! The last time my husband bought me an iTunes card (at London Drugs but that doesn’t really matter) the advertisements for the sale price were like two feet from the till and they still rang through the card at full price. So just double check when you pay. It always pays to check.

iTunes Canada: Greatest Hit Albums Only $6.99

iTunes Canada: Greatest Hit Albums Only $6.99

iTunes Canada has a nice deal on greatest hit albums. These albums are on sale for only $6.99 each for this weekend only.

Select from these ten albums:

I have to go old-fashioned on this one: I am mostly interested in the greatest hits of Fleetwood Mac and Journey, both fabulous bands of their time. I have heard really good things about Radiohead though, and might check their greatest hits out as a good way to get introduced to a new-to-me band.

iTunes Canada: Select Albums Only $6.99

There are ten albums to choose from:

I am a big classic rock fan, so I am familiar with and a big fan of AC/DC, Queen, and the Eagles. I have to say that the last album from David Bowie (aka the one above) was a huge disappointment.

I can also highly recommend the Muse album above as I own it and love it.

My only other experience with the list above is the song Red Hands by Walk Off the Earth, which I own and enjoy as well. I will be considering picking up the rest of the album in this sale.

iTunes Canada: The Voice Albums For $6.99

iTunes Canada: The Voice Albums For $6.99

iTunes Canada is having a special sale on albums from the TV show ‘The Voice’ coaches. Get albums from Shakira, Usher, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine for only $6.99 each.

Click here to shop @ now

Here are the albums on sale:

You can also pick up some The Voice singles from the contestants they have had on previous seasons and current season four contestants. Most of the singles cost $1.29, so not as great a deal as when these full albums go on sale.

I have really not watched The Voice. I do love the blind voice auditioning though – I think that is brilliant. I love it because I think so much of success is not based on talent but rather good looks. I was recently reminded of that when watching So You Think You Can Dance. Mary kept on telling girls how beautiful they were and how they looked so much like ‘So You Think You Can Dance.’ All I was thinking was “who CARES if they look like the Virgin Mary or the Hunchback? It only matters if they can dance!” That is what I like about The Voice: the first thing they care about is talent.

iTunes: Listen to Justin Timberlake The 20/20 Experience For Free

Posted by on March 14, 2013 at 7:00 PM

iTunes: Listen to Justin Timberlake The 20/20 Experience For Free

Right now iTunes is letting music lovers listen to the entire new album of Justin Timberlake entitled The 20/20 Experience.

I have toted the merits of this style of free listening before. I don’t agree with pirating music so this is one of the best ways for me to sample new music and sometimes new artists. I do have to say that Timberlake is not an artist I would generally listen to, however, the description for his new album intrigues me:

Justin Timberlake returns with a captivating mix of big band sounds, crooning vocals, and crawling bass hooks.

I like big band sounds and crooning vocals so I might actually give this album a try. I get to stream it for free, so why not?

This offer is only available for a limited time exclusively on iTunes on your computer or iPad.

iTunes Canada: Listen to the New David Bowie Album For Free

iTunes Canada: Listen to the New David Bowie Album For Free

iTunes Camada has a fabulous freebie for anyone on a budget who wants to listen to great music without being a pirate. Right now you can listen to David Bowie’s entire new album The Next Day absolutely free!

Five reasons why you need to check this album out:

  1. It is his first album in ten years
  2. The guy is a rock legend
  3. 14 new songs of Bowie goodness!
  4. Expanding musical horizons is good
  5. It is free!!!!!

I am listening to the album now, and though I have only made it through one of fourteen songs, I’m not incredibly impressed yet (actually I hate the first song). The second song isn’t as bad as the first one, but I firmly believe one should never judge an entire album by just a couple songs. There can always be a few gems in an otherwise mediocre album. So I am looking forward to hearing the album in its entirety.

iTunes: Select Albums On Sale For $6.99

iTunes Canada has a nice little sale on select albums – all for only $6.99! There are 10 albums to choose from as follows:

I own both Buble’s It’s Time and Bennett’s Duets II. They are great albums for anyone who loves the ol’ crooners. I am going to look into Bruno Mars’ Unorthadox Jukebox because I like some of his stuff but am unfamiliar with this album.
