Expedia Canada: 3-Night Getaways For $249 Or Less

Expedia Canada: 3 Night Getaways For $249 Or Less

Do you have big travel plans this summer?  Need some help figuring out where to go and/or where to lay your weary travelling head?  Look no further than for 3-night getaways for $249 or less.

Choose from a long list of destinations, both within Canada and abroad for anywhere from this week to five weeks from now.  Some of the more popular destinations available within this promotion are Las Vegas, Orlando, Niagara Falls and Paris, so there is a deal to please every kind of traveller.

Has a summer girl’s trip been on your mind?  Check out this deal:  Save 45% from August 8th to August 11th at the Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.  The 3-night hotel deal is only $93!  This hotel is reviewed at 3.7 out of 5 or 87%.  Stay about a mile off the strip at this hotel with a 2-level casino, a bingo parlour, outdoor pool and 2 on-site restaurants.

Thinking of taking the family to Niagara Falls, but want to do it on the cheap?    You can save 10% at Niagara Lodge & Suites  with a 3-night deal for $240.  Now I’ll be honest, this isn’t the prettiest hotel I’ve seen, but I know when I go to Niagara Falls, we are very busy seeing all the sights both in the falls area as well as Niagara-on-the-Lake, so we are just in the hotel for sleep.  I prefer to keep my accommodation costs low in Niagara Falls so that I can spend a little more enjoying all the attractions, so this deal helps with that.

If you have some frequent flyer miles burning a hole in your pocket, maybe you would like to check out the 3-night deals in New York or Paris!  There are some good deals to California as well.  I don’t know when these 3-night deals from will end, so I suggest booking asap.

Travel Zoo Canada: $79 Toronto Hotel With 14 Days of Parking

Travel Zoo Canada: $79 Toronto Hotel With 14 Days of Parking

Get a hotel room by the Toronto airport, plus 14 days of free parking and breakfast for only $79!

If you are going away this summer or sometime in the future (for some reason I don’t see an expiry date!), this is a great deal for you. Parking at the airport is notoriously expensive. I’ve flown out of Pearson airport a number of times, trying both the park right at the airport way and the satellite lot with shuttle way. Both ways were expensive and the second option was also very time consuming. Waiting to get a shuttle back after a long flight proved treacherous, and even though it came every 30 minutes and my friend and I were the first in line, the shuttle went a little past us, the crowd rushed to get on and we didn’t get a spot! We ended up paying a taxi $25 to take us to the parking lot, which forfeited any savings we had made parking farther away. I was not too happy about this.

When I got married and was flying to Jamaica, it was January and I had a two-hour drive to the airport for an early flight. On my mind was that there would be a snow storm or an accident blocking the highway, essentially making me miss my wedding. Before you go thinking I’m paranoid, this actually happened to me on another trip where I got on the plane right before they closed the doors after sitting on the 401 for over two hours waiting for an accident at my exit to be cleared on a beautiful summer Sunday morning. I even tried to convince my friend to park her car on the side of the highway and we’d hop the fence and get a taxi but she refused. Luckily we just made the flight because it was on this vacation where I met my husband-to-be!

Anyway, take it easy, stay the night in the hotel, get up leisurely and have breakfast and let the complimentary shuttle take you over to the airport, while your car sits for free in their parking lot. The hotel is the Hotel Indigo, and it looks like the regular cost of this deal is $254, so this is quite the savings no matter how you look at it.

June 19 Coupon Codes: $50 Off $300 & $75 Off $500

Posted by on June 19, 2014 at 1:30 PM Coupon Codes: $50 Off $300 & $75 Off $500

Book your summer stays now and save with these coupons. You’ll get $50 off your $300 booking or $75 off your $500 booking with the below promo codes.

Click here to book @ now

  • Coupon Code: OCANADA
  • Discount: $50 off $300
  • Coupon Code: REDNWHITE
  • Discount: $75 off $500
  • Expiry: 1st July 2014

You’ll have to book by Canada Day but you have until the end of this year to travel. There are quite a few exclusions for this coupon, so take a look at this list before you try and book. Even with these inclusions, I was able to find a number of hotels that suited my taste and budget that the promo code was eligible with.

I am taking off a couple of weeks this summer to spend with the family and because camping wasn’t all it was cracked up to be last year, I think we’ll get a hotel at a resort this year for a few days. This coupon works perfectly for me at the Deerhurst Resort. It has quite a few amenities like three outdoor swimming pools, an indoor pool, golf course and even a children’s pool. One night in the summer is about $299, which is quite steep, so by getting $75 off of two nights, that really helps.

Toronto is also somewhere we typically visit in the summer, what with so much to do like Centre Island, the CN Tower, Ripley’s Aquarium and just because Toronto is so fantastic. I find hotels in the Toronto area go up in the summer, so getting a discount from eases that pain. We have typically stayed at the Westin Harbour Castle, but unfortunately, they are on the exclusion list.

You don’t just have to travel in Canada either, you can use this promo code for a number of hotels worldwide, and with such a long booking time, you can use it for your summer, fall and winter vacations.

Before booking any vacation, stop by the Bargainmoose forum for more coupons.

Get $20 Towards Your Hotel & 15% Off When You Book A Flight With Orbitz Canada

Posted by on May 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM

Get $20 Towards Your Hotel & 15% Off When You Book A Flight With Orbitz Canada

If you need a flight and hotel in the next while, check out this deal from Orbitz. Book any flight on their site while logged into your Orbitz Rewards account (which is free!), and you’ll get $20 in Orbucks to use within 90 days on any hotel booking. On top of that, you’ll be able to use the promo code they have out right now to get 15% off that hotel as well.

I used Orbitz to book all of my hotels for my trip to San Francisco earlier this month. Like a good bargain hunter, I price compared all of the hotel deals sites, including the Canadian ones and found Orbitz the cheapest. Their prices are in U.S. dollars, so I took that into account by using a currency conversion tool, which are easy to find online. I paid with PayPal and my hotels were booked and paid for before I went, at a rate lower than what the hotels were offering, had I booked though their site.

Right now if you need a flight, there are some good flight deals from Canadian and American cities. I do find that when you are flying to a U.S. city, flying from another U.S. city is much cheaper. With this deal, you need to register and sign in for the Orbucks program and you’ll get $20 in additional Orbucks to use for your hotel. When you book your hotel, check the Bargainmoose coupon forum for Orbitz, where you’ll find two different coupon codes for 15% off your hotel. This means that not only will you get a cheap deal on a hotel, you’ll get another 15% off, then another $20 (plus whatever other Orbucks you may have accumulated). Note that not all hotels are promo code eligible, so you need to enter it in when doing your search.

You have to use your $20 in Orbucks within 90 days of getting them.

Get 20% off your hotel stay with promo code from Cheap Tickets.

  • Coupon code: GETAWAY
  • Discount: 20% off
  • Expiry: 9th March 2014

If you are planning to stay in a hotel anywhere, and I mean anywhere, you might as well take advantage of 20% off hotel stays with this promo code. Gone are the days of booking the hotel directly, because you rarely get the best rate this way. I am considering a California getaway this spring and have been researching hotels. If I’m not 100% picky about which exact hotel I stay in, but still want to choose the features of my hotel like star rating, amenities, price, etc., booking on a site like Cheap Tickets is perfect.

There are a variety of hotels available for booking in the California cities I’m interested in visiting like San Francisco, Monterey and Big Sur. As well, I’m thinking of spending a night in Toronto over March Break and found a number of hotels to my liking, with great rates on.

When you are searching, enter the promo code in first and a list of hotels will display. Not all of them will be eligible, but you will see the ones that say “Promo Code Eligible”. The price shown is not the discounted price, but once you click book this, you’ll see your discount.

Your travel has to be before September 30th, 2014.

Check out any new Cheap Tickets promo codes in our coupon forum.

WagJag Canada: Romantic Escapes Across Canada For Your Sweetie

WagJag Canada: Romantic Escapes Across Canada For Your Sweetie

Bargainmoose recently did a nifty little survey about Valentine’s Day and had a great response to it. We found out a number of surprising facts and one of them was that most people expected their lover to spend about $50 or under on a Valentine’s gift. But, 17% said they expected Valentine’s Day to be a lavish, fun-filled and maybe expensive affair. Well, these deals are for you. If you really want to treat the love of your life, take them somewhere. Somewhere good.

You don’t have to go somewhere far away, as there are some great deals in cities across Canada too. You could also surprise your love with a trip away, but not take it this weekend as you’ll get slammed with increased costs and everyone and their lover out on the town.

Niagara Falls is the city of lovers, so says Marilyn Monroe who actually honeymooned there. I’ve had many, many a romantic vacation there so I’d have to agree. Get a room at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Fallsview plus a whole litany of vouchers for dining and gaming for only $99.

A mountain retreat sounds uber-romantic, so how about visiting Fiddler Lake Resort in the Laurentian Mountains for only $499, with a value over $1100.

A luxury inn might be just the ticket and Muskoka is totally beautiful. For only $149 you get a one night stay and a spa or food credit (or choose two nights for $249).

Each deal has its own expiry and rules, so check them out.

TravelZoo Canada: $59 For a Niagara Falls Escape

Posted by on January 16, 2014 at 8:30 AM

TravelZoo Canada: $59 For a Niagara Falls Escape

I found this fantastic deal for a trip to Niagara Falls on Travel Zoo. For only $59 you get a one-night stay in a hotel, plus a ton of other credits including meal and gaming credits, which total up to $225 on their own.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Fallsview Hotel (which is part of this deal) as part of a deal I bought last summer. I paid about $80 for my deal and got way less in credits. The hotel is fine – it was clean and had enough space to fit my family of five. We were able to walk to quite a few attractions, or use the WEGO passes that are also included with the deal (on two-night stays). I do believe we had to pay extra for parking, but this is the norm at any Niagara Falls hotel.

For only $59 you’ll get:

  • one night stay at Best Western Fallsview on a Sunday to Friday
  • $70 Ruth Chris Steakhouse dining voucher
  • $20 Outback Steakhouse voucher
  • $10 IHOP voucher
  • $100 of game play at Captain Jack’s Pirates Cove entertainment complex and admission for four to Cannon Ball Blasters and Time Freak
  • $25 slot play voucher at Fallsview Casino

If you decided you wanted to go on a Saturday night, pay $69 instead of $59. If you want to stay for two nights, you’ll pay $99 total for Sunday to Thursday or $119 arriving on a Friday or Saturday. You can even travel during spring break (March 7 – 16) for $75 a night. The two-day or the spring break deals also give you a $20 TGI Friday credit and WEGO shuttle passes for two and an additional $10 for IHOP. Spring breakers also get four IMAX tickets.

This deal is so good, I think I’m going to talk my husband into it for March Break at the Falls. The Captain Jacks place is so much fun for both the kids and the adults and $100 will get you a good 1-2 hours of fun. We also did the laser tag, which was such a fun experience for all of us. Our voucher included meal credits at The Keg and we ended up having two of them (one from another package we bought) and the waiter let us use both. I’ve never eaten at Ruth Chris, but I heard it is fantastic and $70 is a pretty sweet credit especially considering it is more than you are paying total for this deal.

Living Social Promo Code: 10% Off Escapes

Tomorrow in Ontario there is going to be a wind chill of -29. I know, I know, we live in Canada, but come on! I wasn’t made for this climate and the only way to keep sane is with frequent getaways. Since getaways to sunny destinations can get expensive, I will have to settle with closer to home for now, and use great coupons like this one for 10% off all escapes at Living Social.

Click here to book an escape @

  • Coupon Code: TRAVEL2014
  • Discount: 10% off
  • Expiry: 7th January 2014

With only today and tomorrow to book, get on this deal now. There are deals for ski trips, caribbean, and close to home. Some I’m going to think about:

Sea Adventure resort and waterpark in Cancun Mexico – all inclusive for three nights for two children and two adults for only $560, was $1245 and with coupon will only be $504! Flights are not too expensive from the eastern provinces to Cancun, so you could do an all-inclusive trip here for less than $2000 for your entire family!

If staying in the cold is more your thing, check out this Whistler vacation at the Cascade Lodge Hotel – a three-night stay for two for only $249 and kids 12 and younger stay free. Was $561, then $249, with coupon only $224.10!

If staying close to home is what you are after, this deal for the Best Western Fallsview Hotel is very sweet! Get a one-night stay for two with dining credits and attraction credits for only $59, was $317. With coupon, it comes down to only $53.10!

TeamBuy Canada: $344 For a One Night Stay in the Ice Hotel

TeamBuy Canada: $344 For a One Night Stay in the Ice Hotel

Get a one-night stay in the fantasy Hotel de Glace (Ice hotel) in Quebec for only $344, including breakfast and two drinks. I went to the Ice Hotel’s site and tried to find the equivalent room and the cost for it and I came up with a price starting at $200 per person a night for this package. While TeamBuy lists this deal as being regularly priced at $688, I found it to be about $400. But, this was a weekday and this deal is valid on weekends as well, so I’ll assume the weekend price is around that much. Either way, by getting this TeamBuy, you are still getting a deal!

I had a friend stay at the Ice Hotel for a night and absolutely loved her experience. I think this would make an amazing gift idea for a romantic getaway or a fun and unique family experience.

You’ll get a one-night stay for two in a standard queen room with a Nordic sleeping bag, breakfast, two welcome cocktails and access to the Nordic hot tubs and saunas. Like I said, you can go any day of the week, including weekends, but there are a few blackout dates. This is also for travel from January 5th to March 23rd. If you’d like a room upgrade, you can do that too, for an additional cost. You can buy one voucher for yourself and two as gifts.

Orbitz always offers convenience. There is no need to book your flight on one website, hotel on another, and car on a third. You can do it all in one shot at Orbitz. You can even book a cruise or get tickets to events on Orbitz. It’s a great way to book an entire vacation in one shot.

This coupon code adds better value to the equation too. It’s good for travel up until 31st March 2014, which means you can even use this to get money off of spring break travel. And if you’ve done any travel you’ll know that the further away your trip is, in general, the cheaper your tickets, reservations and everything else is going to be. If you don’t happen to have planned your travel that far ahead, you can certainly go for a shorter term trip. Like I said in the intro, winter is coming and now would be the perfect time to get a quick vacation in before the snow flies or to go somewhere warm after it flies. Or go somewhere cold. I’m not here to judge.

Expedia Canada Vegas Sale: Up To 60% Off Hotels

Expedia Canada Vegas Sale: Up To 60% Off Hotels

Now is the time to splurge on that trip to Vegas you’ve been wanting to take, as Expedia has hotels for up to 60% off.

I’d love to go to Vegas with either my husband or my girlfriends. I figure it is a mostly inexpensive trip, a short time away and one that could be as wild as I’d like it to be (or as tame). I’m hoping a trip to Vegas will be in the cards (get it?) in the next year or so.

Here are some hotels I’d choose based on amenities and price:

  • 60% off Golden Gate hotel and casino – from $18 a night – newly renovated
  • 30% off Luxor hotel and casino – I’ve heard good things about this one – from only $38 a night
  • 35% off Treasure Island hotel and casino – an attraction in itself – from $51 a night

You must book by October 31st and travel by March 31st 2014, but check each hotel for when their rates are cheapest.
