This salad spinner is a one handed operator with a built in brake system for easy stopping.  It s stainless steel and dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.  Nowadays I won’t buy anything that isn’t dishwasher safe because when it is it makes life a lot easier.  It also has an easy grip non slip handle and the lid is see through for easy viewing.

This is the first salad spinner we have had and it is great. The spinning action is a plunger motion as opposed to a crank action variety. I’ve tried the crank arm variety and one with a pull out string. The good part about this one is that you push down to make it work rather than twist which is really good if you have some issues with wrists or elbows (the torquing motion that those whose suffer from those afflictions will know). Irrespective, it dries the leaves perfectly, especially if you do it more than once. The brake feature seems like a gimmick but actually works and allows you to empty the water and then do a second time. We bought the steel version and it comes with a rubber base that keeps it on the counter while spinning. It makes the dressing that much better because it is not diluted with water.

I love the feeling of new bedding but it can be quite pricey to get new bedding every few months.  I like to stock up with a few sets at a time when it goes on special and I store it away.  About once or twice a year, I bring out another new bedding set of sheet that I have stashed away instead of having to go buy new bedding at full price.  This saves a lot of money in the long run.  I also try to buy basic patterns and colours so that my bedding stays timeless.  I have bought this Glucksteinhome T450 sheet set before in white and I am currently using it.  I would highly recommend it.  You can’t beat Egyptian cotton sheets!
