Staples Canada: 10% Off Toner & Additional $20 off $100

Staples Canada: 10% Off Toner & Additional $20 off $100

Staples has a great deal on right now that will get you all stocked up on toner. First, they’ve got 10% off HP, Canon and Brother toner cartridges. Then, when you get your items into the cart, you can click the links below to get yourself a unique coupon code that will get you an additional $20 off your $100 purchase.

Click here to shop the toner sale @ Staples.ca now

Click here to get your coupon for $20 off $100 on toners

Because there are so many different types of toner depending on your printer, I can’t go and list the deductions you’ll get for each one. I will find a few and give you some price comparisons though, because it is nice to see what you will really be saving.

Just a regular everyday toner cartridge like the HP 98A black toner, this item is regularly $173.50 at Staples. That is already a lower price than the competitors I found it selling at. Now, add an extra 10% off, bringing it down to $156.15. Then, add your unique coupon code above, which brings the total down to $136.15 including shipping.

As a price comparison for this cartridge, I found this exact one at Costco for $169.99, Canada Computers for $179.99, and at HP for $187.99. You are saving a minimum of $30 on this item alone.

If you do have a few toners you’d like to buy, you might be best to do separate orders, as you only get the one $20 coupon off.

Don’t get fooled like I did, and think that this sale is on all ink for your printer. This sale is only on toners and not inks, which means it is only for laser printers. Considering I don’t even have my own printer and my husband buys the ink for his, I had no idea there was actually a difference. This is what happens when you don’t work outside your home for over ten years!

Because you’ll be spending over $100, your shipping will be free on this Staples purchase.

Lowe’s Canada: 70% Off Bissell 48K2C CleanAlong Vacuum – Was $229 | Now Just $69 (& Free Shipping!)

Posted by on April 26, 2015 at 9:06 PM

Lowes Canada: 70% Off Bissell 48K2C CleanAlong Vacuum Was $229 | Now Just $69 (& Free Shipping!)

Need a new vacuum? Here’s a hot deal on the Bissell 48K2C CleanAlong vacuum. At Lowe’s, you can currently get it for just $69, which is $160 off its original price of $229 — that’s a whopping 70% off! Shipping is free as well.

The Bissell 48K2C vacuum is the kind that simply follows you around or more specifically: “cleans along”. Lowes Canada: 70% Off Bissell 48K2C CleanAlong Vacuum Was $229 | Now Just $69 (& Free Shipping!)

Personally, I much prefer those kind of vacuums as opposed to the upright ones as there is no risk of it falling on you when you’re on your hands and knees trying to vacuum a tight corner. I have an upright one that is due for an upgrade and it constantly falls over whenever I’m trying to use one of the attachments to vacuum tricky spots — very annoying!

For those of you who are tall or have tall significant others who typically do all of the vacuuming, the Bissel is also really cool in that its height can be adjusted. It also has plenty of other very neat features like:

  • full bag indicator
  • tools may be easily stored on the on board wand
  • comes with crevice tool for tights spots
  • includes upholstery tool for fabric, drapes & cushions
  • comes with dusting brush

Great on both bare floors and carpets, this vacuum also has a variable suction control! I’m not entirely sure in what kind of situations this would be most useful for considering that personally, I like having the most suction possible but it could perhaps be used on a delicate carpet that could easily be ruined by too much suction.

It also has an automatic cord rewind, which is always a major plus. Having to constantly unwind and wind the cord back up is never fun.

There are no reviews for this handy vacuum on the Lowe’s site but on Amazon, where it’s currently on sale for $130.84 (reg. $199.99), it has a total rating for 4/5 stars with 8 customer reviews. Nearly all of the reviewers praised this Bissell vacuum for its strong suction and its many functions. Plus, many of those also stated that they wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends and family!

Rona, on the other hand, has this same vacuum for as much as $189!

Modern Furniture: Union Square Office Chair Was $340 | Now $247 & Free Shipping With Exclusive Coupon

Modern Furniture: Union Square Office Chair Was $340 | Now $247 & Free Shipping With Exclusive Coupon

I just happened upon the store ModernFurniture.ca the other day. I was seriously pleasantly surprised with the gorgeous furniture they have and my mind went to “I want all the things” mode immediately. I am designing a home office for myself and have decided I want it to be modern and industrial in style. This Union Square office chair will fit perfectly within that style. It was great to see that it was on sale from $339, down to $257. It was even better when I found out we have an exclusive coupon code that gets me another $10 off, so I’m only paying $247 for this gorgeous chair. Use the coupon code BARGAINMOOSE to see your $10 discount on any item from Modern Furniture.

While this might not be a chair I’d want to work in all day, it looks really good with antique metal accents and a solid wood frame. This one is white, but the natural is also on sale, from $389, down to $359.55 with coupon added.

Lowe’s carries this chair in antique black or natural for $450. Bay Design carries it for $407 in the black. Those are the only Canadian retailers where I see it for sale. Other than those, Amazon.com carries the white for $308.45 USD. The price at Modern Furniture far beats out everyone else.

There are other clearance deals to be had, and this coupon is applicable to anything on the site. Because they have free shipping on orders over $50, you could do separate orders to make the most of the coupon and still get free shipping. We have had this coupon for a while, but we haven’t mentioned it to you yet and I think you deserve to know about this great site.

I am also eying up this Boudiur chest, which would so gorgeous in a dining room or even in my kitchen. Regularly $889, you’ll get it for $627.

You can see all of the deals here, with up to 50% off a large number of categories including art and lighting as well.

Staples Canada: Royal Sovereign 8-Sheet Personal Micro Cut Shredder Was $170 | Now $70

Posted by on April 20, 2015 at 8:07 AM

Staples Canada: Royal Sovereign 8 Sheet Personal Micro Cut Shredder Was $170 | Now $70

Now that tax time is over, you might have a bunch of documents you want to get rid of. You don’t want to throw them in the garbage and definitely not in the recycling, as your personal information is all over them. What do you do? You shred them. With prices as low as $69.99, regularly $169.99, how can you not ensure your personal safety with a Royal Sovereign 8-sheet capacity personal micro cut shredder from Staples?

Shredding eight sheets at a time is so handy, otherwise you really could be sitting there for hours. Your documents shred into teeny tiny micro pieces so there is no chance of pasting those bits back to together. The waste bin is large so you don’t have to change it very often as well.

As soon as you put the paper into the machine, it starts shredding and stops when it is done and there is an auto reverse in case of paper jam.

Just to show you the deal that this is, I found this exact model at Home Depot selling for more than Staples original price of $170, selling for $199. Walmart also sells it for much more than regular price, now at $239, but it is out of stock.

This item will also ship for free. I don’t see any reviews I can tell you about, but what can you say about a shredder? Shreds up my pieces quite nicely?

As luck would have it, Staples also has individual coupons right now, which could potentially reduce your costs on this purchase. What I mean by individual coupons is that you’ll have to follow the links on that coupon page to get yourself to a page where you can request to be sent an individual coupon. They have a save $20 on $150 in office supplies, which could potentially be used on this shredder (and some other items with a total of $150). Otherwise, you could use the $20 off $100 using Visa checkout as well. If you don’t feel like spending more to save more, this deal stands up on its own as it is.

Staples Canada: $20 off $100 with Visa Checkout

Posted by on April 9, 2015 at 3:44 PM

Staples Canada: $20 off $100 with Visa Checkout

We have a new Staples Canada promotion for you – and it is just lovely! Receive $20 off your order of $100 or more when you pay with Visa Checkout.

Visa checkout is a ‘digital wallet’ service akin to Paypal Canada. We have seen a few Visa Checkout promotions before from the likes of Cineplex and from Newegg. The instructions are simple:

  • Your cart must total $100 or more before taxes
  • Choose Visa Checkout as your checkout option
  • Sign up via the ‘create account’ button if you have not already
  • Complete your purchase (pay with a Visa card)

You only need to sign up for an account once – so if you signed up for an account with the Cineplex offer or with the Newegg offer, then you can skip that step. The discount will be automatically applied at checkout.

There is always going to be a bit of fine print. This deal cannot be used to buy postage stamps, downloadable software or services, computer rentals, self-serve copying, gift cards, phone cards, getaway packages, or Bose products. The last one hurts because I am dying to buy a Bose speaker!

The deals centre is a great place to start looking. This Five Star Style Poly Binder, 1.5″ was $6.99 and is now on sale for just $1. Pick up all the binders your kids will ever need for school all in one purchase.

I live by a heater all winter and into the spring. This Honeywell® Whole-Room Ceramic-Core Comfort Heater looks like a gorgeous unit for warming my entire living room! Originally $89.96, the heater is now on sale for $67.47. I price compared this heater at Amazon Canada where it retails for $79.99. Not only are you getting a better price on the unit, you will save further money with the $20 off $100 offer via Visa checkout.

I could not find this CyberpowerPC V3 Voltair 800-1800 RPM CPU Cooling Fan at many other places, but it looks to be a good deal. Originally $139.99, the cooling fan is on sale for $69.99. I did find it at a US store for around $95 CDN – but shipping and duties would certainly jack that price up.

There are many great deals like this throughout the Staples Canada website. As the $20 off $100 deal necessitates you spend over $45, shipping to your home will also be free.

NCIX Canada: 70% Off Simple Audio LISTEN Stereo Speakers with Bluetooth – Was $500 | Now $129 (& Free Shipping) (EXPIRED)

Posted by on April 3, 2015 at 12:44 PM

NCIX Canada: 70% Off Simple Audio LISTEN Stereo Speakers with Bluetooth Was $500 | Now $129 (& Free Shipping) (EXPIRED)* BUMP – a further $20 discount since this was first posted – they’re now down to only $129 with free shipping! *

NCIX Canada has a hot deal on the Simple Audio LISTEN stereo speakers with bluetooth. Originally priced as high as $499, they’re now 70% off and can be yours for just $149 $129. This includes free shipping and a 298 bonus NCIX Rewards points.

The fact that these speakers were originally priced as high as $499 is really quite impressive, although at Amazon.ca, they are currently on sale from $349.77 from an original list price of $549.99.

In any case, this is a fantastic deal, especially since shipping is included. There is no word on when this deal might expire but my guess is that it’s probably “while supplies last”.

I’m not the most savvy when it comes to speakers and so I tend to judge the quality of these from reviews. Out of 18 reviews, the Simple Audio LISTEN speakers actually have a recommendation rate of 94%. That’s really quite awesome, especially since some reviewers labels these speakers as being some of the best ones, especially for the sale price. Here’s what one reviewer had to say about them:

These are a good buy when on (huge) sale, but there are other comparable systems around the $200 mark. They sound very nice with enough bass by themselves if you’re just sitting at a desk. I use them for my TV & PS4.

According to another reviewer, these are comparable to $200 speakers on the market and yet other reviewers claim that these also stand up very nicely to BOSE ones, which are considered to be some of the very best ones that you can get (these do however come with a pretty hefty price tag as well).

If you have been looking for quality speakers but haven’t been wanting to shell out more than a couple of hundreds of dollars on them, then these ones are a hot must-buys. They offer a 40W per channel class-d amplifier, along with a fully integrated DPS and digital signal path.

The interface is also a touch-enabled one, which is definitely a handy feature to show off to guests. NCIX Canada: 70% Off Simple Audio LISTEN Stereo Speakers with Bluetooth Was $500 | Now $129 (& Free Shipping) (EXPIRED)

Last Call: Walmart Free Shipping To Your Home With No Minimum

Posted by on April 2, 2015 at 11:07 AM

Last Call: Walmart Free Shipping To Your Home With No Minimum

Walmart Canada is changing their shipping policies, *cry*. The new policy is set to change today, and includes a minimum order of $50+ to ship free to your home. Walmart has not made the switch yet, and the website still shows free shipping on any order.

I do not know how long free shipping with no minimum will last, but Walmart Canada is not playing an April Fool’s joke on us this time. The policies have changed and the new policies are set to take effect today.  The good news is right now the free shipping is still available on all items so hurry to get your last orders in now.

For the full details about the new shipping policies, check out Margarita’s post from earlier this week for the full details. The general gist is there are still free shipping options for Canadian Post pickup spots across Canada. If you are in Toronto area, there are lockers you can pick up from @ Walmart for free. Lastly after today if your order is more than $50, Walmart will offer you free shipping. If you buy a small item under $50, shipping will be $4.97 when the switch is made.

Looking to grab one last small deal before the free shipping with no minimum is gone? Here are a few great items you could snag today while you still have free shipping with no minimum

There are many more items over in the clearance and rollback sections @ Walmart Canada. I might order myself some of those Rubbermaid food storage containers, mine are stained with spaghetti sauce.

I am so sad this policy is changing, as it was so convenient to be able to have small items at my door quickly with no shipping charges.  I used this free shipping policy a lot when my daughter was first born and it was often difficult to leave the house. I do not doubt with all of the announcements recently of multiple businesses closing, Walmart also has to adjust their strategy to the changing market.

Bargainmoosers, how will this new policy affect your shopping habits?

Costco Canada: 20% Off de Buyer Heavy Duty Black Steel Fry Pan (8″ or 9.5″) – Now From $29 (EXPIRED)

Posted by on March 23, 2015 at 9:55 PM

Costco Canada: 20% Off de Buyer Heavy Duty Black Steel Fry Pan (8 or 9.5) Now From $29 (EXPIRED)

Mmmm hungry yet? It’s still too cold for barbecuing but you could make hamburgers using a frying pan instead! Luckily, the de Buyer heavy duty black steel fry pan is 20% off at Costco and you can get either the 8″ one for $28.99 (reg. $35.99) or the 9.5″ one for $31.99 (reg. $39.99). Costco also offers free shipping.

All things considered, a 20% discount isn’t that dramatic, however, it’s the fact that this pan is significantly more expensive at other stores that is of important consideration.

At Amazon, the 8″ de Buyer fry pan is listed at $76 by de Buyer themselves. So if we compare to this price to Costco’s current price, then it actually comes up to nearly 62% in savings — can’t argue much with that price comparison!

I love Costco for this exact reason. Even items at seemingly full price are usually less than the prices you would see at other stores. Plus when there are price reductions, you can rest assured that you’re most likely paying significantly less. This isn’t always the case and it’s always price comparing but it does hold true most of the time.

To get back to the de Buyer fry pans, both of these sizes are made from extra thick black steel. de Buyer fry pans are also made in France and the cool part about them is that they feature a “Lyonnaise” profile, which enables the food to easily slide off onto the plate because of a high flared and curved skirt. This is an aspect that I’m particularly intrigued about because food I make tends to slide off onto the table instead of into the plate!

In case you need any more convincing, here’s another review:

I’ve been in the professional kitchen since the 80’s. These pans will not disappoint. They will season over time, and be as non stick as any coated pan, without the chemicals. My kids will have these one day, when I stop cooking….

Staples Canada: 88% Off Purell Hand Sanitizer Dispenser – Now Just $1 (HOT!)

Posted by on March 22, 2015 at 9:37 AM

Staples Canada: 88% Off Purell Hand Sanitizer Dispenser Now Just $1 (HOT!)

Can’t get enough of Purell? I can’t get enough of this amazing deal on the Purell FMX manual foam hand sanitizer dispenser. Originally priced at $8.31, it’s now down to just $0.99, which boils down to $7.32 in savings (88% off).

This hand sanitizer dispenser would be perfect for any office, especially since it’s super easy to install and you could get a couple of these to install in every room. Offices are known to be sickness cesspools, so this dispenser would definitely be a great way to try and mitigate that little problem. Here’s what one reviewer had to say about this handy dispenser:

Good product. Installs easily on the wall in a couple of minutes. Very sturdy, looks good. The foam canister slips in only one way making it even easier to install.

Since it’s so cheap, I could also see this dispenser being useful for home use. Wouldn’t it be kind of awesome to place one in the entrance to remind people to disinfect their hands before coming inside?

Perhaps one in the bathroom as well and heck, might as well put one in every room at home as well! I kid…

The only hitch with this amazing deal is the shipping. Staples only ships orders over $45 for free, which means that if you were to only get one of these Purell dispenser or even a couple, you would need to pay the $15 shipping fee. However, make sure to check out the other Purell products that are currently on sale.

This dispenser doesn’t come with soap, so you could pick up the Purell hand sanitizer refill 1L on sale for $10.34 right now. The 100-pack Purell hand sanitizing wipes are also currently on sale for just $4.99. This same pack of wipes is actually going for $38.29 on Amazon‘s marketplace. Lest you think that these aren’t sanitary, each wipe is actually individually wrapped.

You could pair this hand dispenser with another great offer from the Deals Center to avoid the shipping fee. The HP Officejet 6815e all in one printer, for instance, is currently $100 off and is listed at $79.94 (reg. $179.94).

Today Only @ Best Buy Canada: 50% Off Montecito Bonded High-Back Chair + NO TAX & Free Shipping – Now $150 (expired)

Posted by on February 23, 2015 at 11:45 AM

Today Only @ Best Buy Canada: 50% Off Montecito Bonded High Back Chair + NO TAX & Free Shipping Now $150 (expired)

Need a new office chair? Today only, Best Buy has discounted the Montecito bonded high-back manager & executive chair by 50% off. It was originally priced as high as $299.99 but is now just $149.98. Plus, you won’t be any tax on it as part of Best Buy’s current “no tax on all furniture” event and it will also be shipped for free — can’t get any better than that!

Made of bonded leather, the Montecito chair has soft to the touch exterior, a pneumatic seat adjustment along with fixed and padded armrests. It’s high back chair, which is ideal for the spine. It also comes with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty.

I love the look of this chair. It looks like a professional and elegant chair that could easily make any home office look more upscale. A couple of these could even be bought for numerous people at a small office but just don’t forget that this deal will end at midnight tonight as part of Best Buy’s Daily Deal Countdown, during which different markdowns are offered on a daily basis until February 26th.

Don’t panic when you see tax fees get added to your shopping cart once you go to checkout because the tax total will then be subtracted from the price of the chair, putting the total at $149.98. It’s just Best Buy’s way of applying the no tax promotion.

Today Only @ Best Buy Canada: 50% Off Montecito Bonded High Back Chair + NO TAX & Free Shipping Now $150 (expired)

Reviews are mixed. At Best Buy’s site, the Montecito has 7 reviews and a total of 2.7/5 stars. Here’s what one reviewer had to say about it:

After a relatively easy assembly, the chair is very comfortable. Only had brief difficulties attaching the arms. Chair lifts and drops, however does not recline. Aside from that, overall great computer chair.

However, I also found the Montecito chair at Staples for $223.34 and 21 reviews with a total of 4/5 stars with comments like this one:

This is the best chair I’ve ever bought. My son assembled it in no time; it’s comfortable, high enough, and doesn’t squeak. Since we always fight for it, I’m buying another one!

As you can see, it really seems to be a matter of preference.

Usually, Best Buy ships all orders over $25 for free but I wasn’t sure that it would apply to this chair as well. I’m happy to report that it does indeed qualify for free shipping, which is particularly awesome for those of you who don’t have a car or perhaps have one that is too small to fit a large box.

Staples Canada: Hammermill Copy Plus Paper Was $57 | Now $38 (FS @ $45)

Posted by on February 20, 2015 at 2:41 PM

Staples Canada: Hammermill Copy Plus Paper Was $57 | Now $38 (FS @ $45)

Staples is having a 4-day sale, with up to 50% off a number of items. One item of particular interest is the Hammermill Copy Plus 20lb paper, with 5,000 sheets in a case. Regularly $57.39, it is now on sale for $37.98.

I think there isn’t a person out there who couldn’t use this deal. If you have a printer, you need paper. While 5,000 sheets may seem like a lot, if you do a lot of printing, you could quickly go through that case of paper. My husband is always complaining how much paper I use for printing and how much ink and paper costs. I’d love to just get this deal and say “now we’re even”.

While there is nothing completely special about this paper, it is general-use paper ideal for printing, faxing, photocopying and more. It does have a 99.9% jam-free guarantee, which if you’ve dealt with machines that often jam, you’ll know this is mega-important. Paper jams I think were causing 99.9% of the stress I had in my life when I worked in an office and did a lot of printing and photocopying.

It does look like there are some other special features of this paper like colourLok technology, which means it produces more vivid and bolder colours and it dries three times faster. It is also FSC certified, which is always good to know when you are using a paper product.

I did price compare and found this paper on Amazon for $60.49 and that was it for Canadian companies. I did find it for $53.99 at Office Depot in the U.S., so this Staples deal is definitely quite a saving.

With free shipping at $45, and a $15 shipping charge on this item, you’ll want to up your cart by those few extra dollars by buying two cases (you can never have too much!) or checking out the other deals available in the 4-day sale. Something like these BlueDiamond high speed HDMI cables will get you up over your total and who can’t use more HDMI cables. These were $9.98 and now $3.98.

This deal may sell out quick, as this morning they had 900 units sold and now have over 1000 sold.

Canadian Tire: $150 Off iRobot Roomba 630 Vacuum – Now $300 (In-Stores Only)

Posted by on February 15, 2015 at 2:00 PM

Canadian Tire: $150 Off iRobot Roomba 630 Vacuum Now $300 (In Stores Only)

Cleaning sucks. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could just skip this annoying chore altogether and have more time for yourself? The Roomba may be the solution and luckily the 630 model is currently on sale for $299.99 at Canadian Tire but only in-stores. It was originally priced at $449.99, thus putting it at a 30% discount.

Since I have two cats, I recently bought the Vileda ViRobi because it’s a more affordable version of a robot vacuum but needless to say, it didn’t exactly perform the way I wanted it to and I have since given it to my parents.

With two cats and a baby, I need a better solution and the iRobot Roomba 630 vacuum looks like it could definitely get the job done and leave me with more time to run after the baby. Canadian Tire: $150 Off iRobot Roomba 630 Vacuum Now $300 (In Stores Only)

Originally, I was a little wary of whether it would get the job done, especially since it is on the pricier side but the reviews are very reassuring. All of the reviews on Canadian Tire’s are for the more part 5/5 stars, with only one giving this vacuum a 4/5 star review. Here’s what one reviewer had to say about it:

Thought about buying this for years actually, but through it was a gimmick. When they went on sale at Christmas, I broke down and bought one. End results? Why didn’t I buy one sooner!

And here’s another review:

I was leery about a robotic vacuum, but the IRobot is incredible. It not only does all the work for you but it does a great job. I have lots of pets, so lots of fur everywhere. IRobot picks it all up…you do have to clean the roller regularly but you don’t have to do the vacuuming!

Here are some of the most noteworthy features:

  • Works on hardwood floowers, carpet, tile & laminate flooring
  • May be scheduled
  • Comes with virtual walls to block certain sections
  • 3-stage cleaning system
  • Dirt detect

On Amazon, the iRobot Roomba 630 vacuum is currently on sale for $379.99 (reg. $512.14).

As I already mentioned, this deal is in-stores only but make sure to check if your local store has it in stock first by entering your postal code on the Roomba 630 product page.

Staples: Dollar Deals Up to 70% Off Office Supplies

Dollar Days have started at Staples Canada. Receive up to 70% off small office supplies starting at just $0.50.

Despite the advertised ‘up to 70% off’, I found sale prices above this discount. Here are some deals in each of the price categories that you pay want to check out.

$1 Deals and under

These are my favourite deals as everything is so inexpensive. I Pick up a tub of Staples® Binder Clips, Small 3/4″, Black, 40/Tub on sale from $4.95 down to just $1. Use them for sorting papers, keeping your taxes organized, and sealing up bags of spices so they do not leak all over your drawer or shelves. Instead of trying to find a table to write on (or using the wall), purchase a Staples Mini Magnetic Clipboard, 5-2/5″ x 3-7/10″, Assorted. Originally $4.98, the clipboard is now $0.75. Personally, I need a handful of these 3M™ Lint Roller, Mini that were $2.94 and are now $1 each.

$2 Deals

This section is all about great binder deals. This Five Star Style Poly Binder, 1.5″ is the best deal of them all. Originally $6.99, pay just $2. The binder comes with one coloured poly divider with two storage pockets. The Mead® Dot & Zag Casemade Binder, 1.5″ is also a good option for keeping your papers organized. Originally $5.99, the binder is also on sale for $2.

$3 Deals

This section holds a great deal of promise for larger items. You can purchase an entire Staples® Standing Stapler, Half-Strip, Assorted, 20-Sheet Capacity for a song. Originally $10.61, the stapler from Staples is now $3. I cannot think of a family that cannot use a dry erase board. Don’t throw away your money: this Quartet Magnetic Dry-Erase Board, Black, Grey Plastic Frame, 11″ x 14”  was $12.99 and us now $3. Lastly, this Staples® 8-Digit Pocket-Size Calculator is an excellent purchase. Originally $9.96, the calculator will only cost you $3!

$5 Deals

Easily my favourite deal is the Kingston® DataTraveler 101 G2 8GB USB Flash Drive on sale from $12.92 down to just $5. You really cannot get a better deal on a basic flash drive to put in your purse or throw in your back pocket.

$10 Deals

Like the above deal, I think the Kingston® DataTraveler 101 G2 16GB USB Flash Drive is a remarkable deal. Originally $19.95, the flash drive is on sale for $10. It has twice the storage as the $5 one for twice the price.

Chapters Indigo Canada: 50% Off Desk Calendars & Free Shipping

Chapters Indigo Canada: 50% Off Desk Calendars & Free ShippingThe new year is in full swing but if you’re still in need of a calendar or know someone who is, then here’s a great deal on desk calendars. While quantities last, you can save 50% on two versions of the Indigo desk calendar at Chapters Indigo. Originally priced at $50, it’s now down to $25.

I have to admit that I would never in a million years pay $50 for this desk calendar or any calendar at all. However, a 50% discount makes it much more appealing, especially since it would look great standing just about anywhere. I could see it being great for an office but also as a mantle piece or any other side table at home.

As you can see on the picture above, it’s available in either sweetheart (white) or easel classic (black) and features a very elegant design. Only the month of January is featured on the image, but rest assured that this calendar contains all of the months for the year 2015.

In case you’re wondering about dimensions, it’s: 6.21″ x 4.5″ and comes with a lovely easel to hold the calendar in place.

Limited Edition Tote

Until February 14th, on Valentine’s Day, you can also get the limited edition All You Need tote for just $14.50 when you spend over $30.  Regularly priced at $25, this tote is 100% cotton and features the words: “Love is all you need” on the front. It’s white all over with a pink handle. In case you’re wondering about the dimensions, it’s quite large and would be great to wear on the shoulder if you’re running light errands or perhaps even for taking to the beach.

You can only get it if you spend over $30, so you can either get two calendars or you could get just one, along with a filler item. The deals section is a great place to  look for more discounts. If you’re planning a wedding, then you’re going to want to check out the 40% discount on select wedding books on  until the end of the day on February 3rd. Select wedding planning books are also just $12.

Shipping

Since shipping is always free on orders over $25, you’re sure to get this calendar shipped at no extra cost as well.

Chapters Indigo: Moleskine iPad 3/4 Cover & Notebook Was $110 | Now $20 (FS on $25)

Chapters Indigo: Moleskine iPad 3/4 Cover & Notebook Was $110 | Now $20 (FS on $25)

Chapters Indigo has a sale section ripe for the picking. I picked out two lovely Moleskine iPad 3/4 Covers with Volant Notebooks insides that pull double duty. Protect your tablet and have a piece of paper on hand at all times. The following Moleskine iPad covers were $110 each, but are now $20 each.

You save approximately 82% on each case, $90 in fact. The case is designed to hold the iPad 3 or 4. The cover is light and thin, featuring a rubberized internal shell to keep your tablet safe and secure. Moleskine is notorious for their fun colours, so the orange and magenta do not disappoint. I think I would go for the orange.

Now, the case also is a notebook, something you would expect from a company like Moleskine. A Volant Reporter Notebook is included with the case and it can be positioned to the right or to the left of your device. That way, this case accommodates both right and left handed individuals. As my partner is left handed, I appreciate this feature.

Now, for a little price comparing. I found the same covers at Moleskine for $89.95 US. In Canada, I found the cases at Amazon.ca. They have a black on sale for $81.50, the orange for $101.27, and the Magenta on sale for $100.91. Chapters Canada really blows them out of the water, I must say.

These look to be decent cases for a great price. There are not many reviews out there, so I cannot give you any perspective on quality. However, all other colours have already sold out so pick up one of these two while you can.

On a side note, if you are shopping in store, Chapters Indigo Canada is offering a free $10 bonus card for every $40 you spend in-store only through until the 25th January 2015. There is a bunch of fine print (no LEGO, etc), so you will want to visit Chapters Indigo to read about it. I just thought it was worth mentioning, as it is a nice promotion.

Now, these Moleskine covers qualify for free shipping on orders of $25 or more. They are $5 shy, so you may want to scout the sale section for something to add to your cart so you will receive free shipping.
