Well.ca: New Bundle Builder Up to 30% Off

Posted by on January 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM

Well.ca: New Bundle Builder Up to 30% Off

Well.ca has introduced a new Bundle Builder where you combine items from specific categories to save extra. Receive up to 30% off when you bundle up lunch items, exercise products, hair care, laundry, and more.

The extra discount ranges from 15% up to 30%. The system is easy: they lay out the qualifying products for you all on one page. You choose one from each category – four categories in total – to qualify for the bonus discount. I will concentrate on the two categories that give the highest bonus discount: Fabric Care and Hair Care.

Fabric Care: Save 30% on your bundle of a detergent, scent, softener, and static protector.

Laundry detergent is just one of those necessities of home life, so why not save extra when shopping. For my detergent, I chose the Tide Free & Gentle Liquid Laundry Detergent that retails for $9.99. Out of all the Tide detergents, it is the one my skin is most tolerant of on my clothing. I have never tried a scent booster before, but the Downy UNSTOPABLES In-Wash Scent Booster in fresh sounds nice. It also retails for $9.99. For a fabric softener, Downy Ultra Free & Gentle Liquid at $7.99 seemed like the natural choice. Lastly, I added into my cart the Bounce Free and Gentle Dryer Sheets for $6.49.

After adding the four products, the discount was immediate. My cart subtotal came to $34.46, so the bundle discount took off $10.34 for a total of $24.12. I still appear to qualify for free shipping as my total before discount was above $25.

Hair Care: Save 30% on your bundle of a shampoo, conditioner, styling product, and treatment.

This is another great bundle. I decided to see how cheap I could go with four hair care products. For shampoo, I chose Pantene Sheer Volume Shampoo Silicone Free because I always need lots of volume in my hair. The Pantene shampoo and the Pantene Nature Fusion Smoothing Conditioner cost $6.99 each. Then I added on Pantene Pro-V Blowout Extend Dry Shampoo, which is in the styling product section for $5.99. I have heard good things about dry shampoos so I want to try one. Lastly, this Pantene Intensely Hydrated Masque for $8.99 made it onto my cart. After the 30% bundle discount, which came to $8.69 off, my cart total was only $20.27 with free shipping.

Free shipping on $25 is calculated before discount right now. This may change in the future.

Canadian Freebie: OZ Naturals Anti Aging Vitamin C Serum Sample

Posted by on January 8, 2015 at 7:00 PM

Canadian Freebie: OZ Naturals Anti Aging Vitamin C Serum Sample

There is a new freebie in town and it is a beauty! Request your free sample of OZ Naturals Anti-Aging Vitamin C Serum from M Coiffure Spa.

This offer is open to Canadians and is valid while supplies last. There is a limit of one sample per household. You will need to be patient: this sample will take between six and eight weeks for delivery.

Now, what exactly is OZ Naturals Anti-Aging Vitamin C Serum? This is a serum you put on your skin that contains clinical strength 20% Vitamin C plus vegan hyaluronic acid. OZ Naturals Vitamin C serum is cruelty free, organic, and it is made in the USA. The serum is supposed to neutralizing free radicals, stimulate collagen, and reduce fine lines/wrinkles.

Now, I rarely put stock in such claims but I looked the product up on Amazon.ca and there are a so many good reviews for this serum that the product averages a 4.5/5 stars with 100 reviews. Even more impressive, with 2,477 reviews on Amazon.com the product still averages a 4.3/5 star rating. That is phenomenal. Most the reviews are quite lengthy so here is an excerpt or two:

I have been using OZ Naturals Vitamin C Serum for three weeks now. And I SEE a difference in my skin. Improved skin tone. Less dryness. And a reduction in fine lines. Their customer service is also fantastic. I actually got reply emails to my questions. From a real human being. That alone gave me faith.

and…

I have been using the Best Vitamin C Serum for over a year and can’t live without this product. My skin is more vibrant, bright and age spots have faded. What I love best is that unlike other vitamin C serums it is not sticky nor irritating. Try it, you will not be disappointed:)

Now, some reviewers are disappointed too. However, those tend to be outliers and not the norm. 78/100 people gave the serum a full five-star review and 11/100 gave it a four-star review. That only leaves 11 people that gave it three stars or less.

I think this is a great little freebie if you manage to score it while they still have some in stock. Hop to it my darling Moosers!

Note: Sample size is unknown.

Lancome Canada Promo Code: Free 7-Pc Gift Set With Purchase ($155 Value)

Posted by on January 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM

Lancome Canada Promo Code: Free 7 Pc Gift Set With Purchase ($155 Value)

Since we haven’t blogged about Lancome in a while, I thought some of you Moosers would be happy to know that they have a brand new coupon out and this time, it’s for a free 7-pc gift set when you spend over $50.

Click here to shop @ Lancome.ca now

  • Coupon Code: JAN15
  • Discount: free 7-pc gift set on $50+
  • Expiry: Unknown

Spending over $50 is fairly easy at Lancome considering that their products aren’t exactly known for being cheaply priced. However, Lancome products are definitely among some of the best and they’re worth giving a try if you haven’t already.

My mom is a huge Lancome fan and I always jump on the opportunity of any kind of Lancome freebie for her. In this case, the free gift set comes with the following:

  • Absolue Oléo serum
  • Absolue Premium Bx
  • Color Design eye shadow palette
  • La Base Pro
  • Bi-facil
  • Dédinicils Precious Cells
  • Make-up pouch

All of these products together are valued at a retail value of $155. Although it’s not featured on the image above, it also comes with a lovely pink make-up pouch that features the Lancome iconic rose logo along with a polka dot motive.

What I love the most about this kind of freebie from Lancome is that although you need to spend at least $50 at their site, you will get to try a couple of products that you may not have necessarily tried otherwise. The Absolue Oléo serum that the gift set comes with, for instance, usually features a $190 price tag for a 30ml bottle. Personally, that’s not a price I would readily pay for a product that I had never tried before, so at least this way, you will get to try it before potentially deciding to commit to it!

This offer is only on while supplies last, so there is no telling when it will end. However, given that it has “JAN” in the code”, my assumption is that it will last throughout the entire month of January, but if you’re interested in getting this freebie, then I don’t suggest waiting just in case it does expire soon!

At checkout, you will also be given the option of select two samples out of a selection of four of the following choices: Génifique Yeux, Trésor, La Vie Est Belle or Dreamtone 101.

Shipping is free on orders over $85, otherwise a $6.95 charge will apply. For more Lancome coupon codes, keep an eye on the Bargainmoose forum.

Save 50% On The Colour Workshop 15 Piece Cosmetic Brush Set Now $7 @ Walmart.ca

Posted by on January 3, 2015 at 12:18 PM

Save 50% On The Colour Workshop 15 Piece Cosmetic Brush Set Now $7 @ Walmart.ca

Are you in need of a new makeup brush set? Shop at Walmart.ca and you can save 50% off The Colour Workshop 15 Piece Cosmetic Brush Set, which means you will pay just $7. Walmart Canada offers free shipping on all orders too.

The Colour Workshop 15 Piece Cosmetic Brush Set from Walmart comes with 15 different pieces. There are multiple brushes as well as a pouch to keep all of the brushes in. That would essentially mean that you are paying less than $0.50 per item in this kit. I am not too familiar with the Walmart brand makeup brushes. At the original price of $14, I would not have purchased these. However, at $7, I would give these brushes a shot.

The items you will find included in this The Colour Workshop 15 Piece Cosmetic Brush Set are:

  • Pencil Sharpener
  • Mirror
  • 4 Piece Applicator Set
  • Pouch
  • Bottle
  • Brow Comb
  • Applicator
  • Eyeliner Brush
  • Lip Brush
  • Angled Shadow Brush
  • Shadow Brush
  • Contour Brush
  • Blush Brush
  • Powder Brush
  • Long Powder Brush

I threw one of these makeup sets in my cart. I have a niece who is turning 14 in just under a month, this set would make an excellent first makeup brush kit for someone learning how to apply makeup. Once she gets the hang of things she can move up to a higher quality brand, or perhaps she will like these ones.

Personally I am not big enough on makeup to go out and spend a large sum on brushes and applicators. A set like this would be perfect for me. The only thing I would be worried about is the brush bristles falling out, or the sponge applicator falling off while applying your makeup. I have experienced that with dollar store quality makeup brush sets.

If you are looking for a bigger set including actual makeup, The Colour Workshop Luminous Beauty Train Case is also on sale for 50% off @ Walmart.ca. Instead of paying the original price of $55, you will pay just $27.50 for this large makeup set. This particular set even shows up for $13.75 at stores close to me. If you are heading over to your local Walmart Canada store, you might want to take a look for this item. This set includes the train case, lip gloss, eye shadows, pressed powder, lip stick, lip pencil, eye pencil, nail polish, nail butter, a mirror, a brush, lip brushes, applicators and even a toe separator.

Not only is this item discounted by 50%, but you will also get free shipping on all orders from Walmart.ca.

Free Sample of Shea Butter Deep Conditioning Moisturizer @ Jergens Canada (EXPIRED)

Posted by on December 30, 2014 at 2:39 PM

Free Sample of Shea Butter Deep Conditioning Moisturizer @ Jergens Canada (EXPIRED)

Jergens Canada has a new freebie available. While supplies are available, you can request a free sample of the Jergens Shea Butter Deep Conditioning Moisturizer. Supplies will be limited of course, so pounce on this offer while you can.

Sign up now to receive a sample of the new Jergens Shea Butter Deep Conditioning Moisturizer. All you will have to do is fill out your basic information like your name and address to receive this freebie. You will also have to answer a few simple questions about your lotion choices.

Jergens Shea Butter Deep Conditioning Moisturizer is best for dry and dull skin. This wonderful cream will help to restore your skin to a beautiful luminosity and sheen. Your skin will become beautiful and radiant as the moisture is replenished with regular use of this Jergens lotion. What I love about this Jergens lotion is that it absorbs quickly and does not leave your skin feeling greasy like other brands do.

I have tried many other shea butter products that just leave my skin feeling sticky, so hopefully that is not the case with this stuff. I find other shea butter products have a sticky feeling for hours after applying the product. This is especially inconvenient if you have pets. The cat and dog hair stuck to my legs after applying the lotion, and that did not feel great at all.

You will also find that Jergens uses the exact same ingredients as L’Occitane, yet the Jergens products will only cost a fraction of the L’Occitane cost. You might find the Jergens odour a bit stronger though. Many reviews also say how great this lotion is for pregnancy. Many moms and moms-to-be found that the Jergens lotion prevented stretch marks and even helped to reduce the appearance of their stretch marks afterwards.

These sample packs are valued at $1 each and there are about 10,000 available. We all know how fast 10,000 free samples can run out. No purchase is necessary to get this offer. If the 10,000 samples do not run out, this free sample offer will end on the 5th of January 2015.

5 Tips to Make your Beauty Products Last Longer

Posted by on December 27, 2014 at 8:00 PM

5 Tips to Make your Beauty Products Last Longer

As mentioned in a previous Bargainmoose post, the average person spends $1200 a year on makeup, or about $100 a month.  That’s a pretty penny if you ask me and it is equivalent to an international flight or an all inclusive vacation after a year of makeup purchases.  Therefore, it makes sense to try and make the makeup last longer if you are able to.  Even though typically, the items that are usually in your makeup bag need to be tossed after a year or two due to accumulation of bacteria, there are some ways that you can make your make up last longer.  Besides, sometimes it can be hard to part with great beauty products, or it can be difficult to find the same products in the stores.  So when this happens, making your beauty products last longer will definitely help keep your  peepers pretty.

Here are five small tips on how to make your beauty products last longer than the usual one to two years.  Of course, making sure you clean your makeup brushes at least would be helpful to keep things running smoothly to avoid bacteria accumulation.

Mascara

Mascara is a girl’s best friend but the problem with it is that it can dry up quickly or get smelly quickly.  General care tips such as not pumping the mascara wand each time you use it can help you increase the longevity of your mascara.  Pumping the mascara wand causes air pockets to form in the mascara tube and encourages bacteria to grow (source: Glo).  Personally, it is a bad habit of mine to pump the mascara before applying it so I need to fix that.

If your favourite mascara is already drying out and getting clumpy, as mentioned in last year’s Bargainmoose post makeup on a budget, just add a few drops of Visine or other normal saline solution the mascara and you will get 9 more lives out of that mascara wand.

Perfume

According to a great article by Learn Vest  perfumes change over time and often lose their smell, so in order to make your perfume last longer, it is best to keep perfume in a cool, dry place.  In addition, some people advocate putting your perfume in a fridge to keep it cool and dry, but the constant temperature changes when you take the bottle in and out of the fridge can cause it to deteriorate sooner.  So basically the rule of thumb is to keep it somewhere cool, dark, and to keep it there instead of taking it in and out of the fridge regularly.

Nail Polish

In order to keep nail polish clump fee and less solid (so that it can glide onto your finger  nails juuust right) one great easy tip is  to apply a small amount of nail polish remover to your nail polish bottle.  This thins the consistency of the nail polish and makes it much easier to apply next time you have a home pedicure or manicure.

Razors

Unfortunately blades do get dull (and we know dull blades are bad news).  One excellent tip from Glamour magazine is to add baby oil to your shaver blade, this keeps your blade sharp for longer.  The way you do this is by shaking the blade dry, drying the blade well, and applying baby oil to coat the blade so that this prevents the dulling of the blade from the minerals in water.

Use a Different Weapon of Choice

When I mean weapon, I mean instead of using a cotton ball to dab up your toner/ astringent/ nail polish remover or other beauty product, use a cotton pad instead.  Cotton balls absorb too much liquid and will end up causing you to use much more product that you needed.  Besides, cotton pads (in my opinion) seem to exfoliate a bit better than cotton balls do.

Perfume, nail polish, razors, and mascara… There you have it, hope these tips help increase the life span of your makeup!  Keeping what we put on your face clean and dry from bacteria can help us keep our skin healthy.

Bargainmoosers, do you have other beauty tips to make your beauty products last longer than they were intended to?

Lush Canada: BOGO Free Boxing Day Sale

Posted by on December 26, 2014 at 11:52 AM

Lush Canada: BOGO Free Boxing Day Sale

This is the Boxing Day sale I used to wait for every year: Lush’s buy one get one free sale! It is the ONLY sale that Lush Canada has annually. If you miss this sale, you are out of luck for an entire year.

I remember when this sale used to crash their servers because so many customers were trying to load their carts with goodies. Boxing Day is the perfect time of year for this sale as you get to enjoy all the amazing Christmas items they make only this time of year. Here are my recommendations.

Snowcake – This gorgeous creamy soap smells like marzipan, a beloved German confection that is popular around the holidays. With my husband, it is always popular as chocolate-coated marzipan is one of his favourite treats. A 100g bar retails for $7.95, but you can buy two for that price.

Drummers Drumming – I have never tried this bath bubble bar but it looks hilarious. The bar is in the shape of a drum with the two little bell poms for drumming away. This is a cute bath bar and a delightful scent: bergamot and strawberry. The bubble bar costs $9.95, so pick up two for that price.

First Snow – You can even buy wrapped bundles of Lush products and get another bundle for free. The First Snow bundle includes:

  • Reindeer Rock Soap
  • Baked Alaska Soap
  • Snow Fairy Sparkle Massage Bar
  • Snow Fairy Shower Gel
  • First Snow Dusting Powder
  • Snowman FUN
  • Bubble Gum Lip Scrup

The bundle is a bit pricey at $64.95, but you can buy two for that price.

Items are selling out very quickly so purchase ASAP. There is already a whole load of products out of stock. You can mix and match items so you do not need two of the same thing. Essentially, every second product (in order of price) will be free in your cart. That is a very fair way to do the discount.

If you are need a Lush Canada store, pop in to see what they have left in the sale. Shipping starts at $6 and you can see the shipping tier here as it is based on weight.

Well.ca Promo Code: New Customers Exclusively Save $15 Off $60 (EXPIRED)

Well.ca Promo Code: New Customers Exclusively Save $15 Off $60 (EXPIRED)

If you are a new Well.ca customer, you can spend $60 at Well.ca and receive $15 off your purchase with this new exclusive coupon code. You will get free shipping too.

Click here to shop @ Well.ca now

  • Coupon Code: BMOOSE15
  • Discount: $15 Off $60
  • Expiry: 24th December 2014

You will not be able to use this coupon code if you have made a purchase from Well.ca with an existing account. You can however have a family member or your partner make the purchase for you with a new account or make a new account yourself. This Well.ca coupon code is only active for 2 days, don’t miss it.

The best part of this Well.ca exclusive coupon code is that it can be used to get an even greater discount on sale items. Right now Well.ca happens to have Starfrit items on sale for 20% off the original price. While not many of the items beat Walmart prices, I did find a few that were cheaper from Well.ca.

The Starfrit Collapsible Hand Strainer ships in an assorted amount of colours and is on sale for $7.99. At Walmart.ca this little kitchen necessity is $9.97. The collapsible strainers are just great. They are all I use because they take up such little amount of space in the cupboards as well as in the sink. I also find them easy to wash, and they don’t stain. Not to mention that they are advertised as being dishwasher safe.

There is also a large variety of makeup brushes on sale for 15% off. The Mistura Retractable Brush was $19.99 and is now $16.99. These retractable brushes are great for a few reasons. For one, after you apply your makeup you can put your brush away inside it’s case and you won’t find little bits of makeup throughout your makeup bag. Also, your brush will not get damaged by other items in your makeup bag. My lip gloss leaked allover my favourite blush brush once, and now I only use retractable brushes.

Well.ca sells a large variety of items from electronics to cosmetics and necessities so you will be able to find anything you might need here. Just take a look through their website to see what you might want to use this discount towards.

Since your order needs to exceed $25 to use this exmoosive coupon code, you will attain free shipping as well. Well.ca does offer pretty quick shipping, but I am afraid it will not arrive in time for Christmas.

Make sure you check out the Bargainmoose forum for all of the latest Well.ca coupon codes.

Well.ca Coupon Code: $5 – $35 Discounts for Everyone

Well.ca Coupon Code: $5 $35 Discounts for Everyone

Well.ca usually has coupon codes for new customers all the time, so I am pleased whenever they include the regulars in coupon promotion! For a few days only, receive $5 off $65, $15 off 100, or $35 off $200 at Well.ca with the following coupon codes.

Click here to shop @ Well.ca now

  • Coupon Code: HOLIDAY5
  • Discount: $5 off $65
  • Coupon Code: HOLIDAY15
  • Discount: $15 off $100
  • Coupon Code: HOLIDAY35
  • Discount: $35 off $200
  • Expiry: 24th December 2014

These may not be the largest coupons out there but when I shop at Well.ca, I am generally shopping for essentials. I purchase all my cleaning supplies from the company and about 50% of my health and beauty supplies as well. They are my Method supplier and I love scavenging their clearance section for good deals on new brands to try out. Speaking of Method, enjoy a little holiday cheer with the Method Gel Hand Wash Mulled Cider on sale for $3.50, originally $4.78.

One of the reasons I like Well.ca is because they carry a huge selection of products. While my local Island Organic store has a few bottles of Druide Foaming bath, I am limited to three options and they never change those up. I currently own Anti-Stress and Detox, but I would love to purchase Druide Sensual Foaming Bath. Originally $17.99, it is now on sale for $14.39. For an all-natural bubble bath, this is the best I have tried. It gives me a ton of bubbles.

The clearance section is like a mecca of goodies. It reminds me of going vintage shopping where you weed through all the so-so deals to find a few truly spectacular finds. This Green Beaver Kids Sunscreen Spray will be essential come spring. Originally $21.99, pick it up for $11 on clearance.

There are already some seasonal staples on sale as well. Here are a few of my favourites:

The coupons will combine nicely with these sale prices to get you the best deal on essentials, not so essential products, and indulgences. Receive free shipping on orders of $25 or more at Well.ca.

Costco Canada: Conair Curl Secret + Travel Hair Dryer & Straightener – Just $100 (+ Free Shipping)

Posted by on December 17, 2014 at 8:30 PM

Costco Canada: Conair Curl Secret + Travel Hair Dryer & Straightener Just $100 (+ Free Shipping)

Save time curling your hair with the Conair Curl Secret. It’s currently $99.99 at Costco and comes with the following two bonus items: a travel dryer and a travel straightener. As usual, shipping at Costco is also absolutely free of charge.

The Conair Curl Secret features a tourmaline ceramic coated barrel with 2 PTC switches and 2 slide switches. It also has two heat settings and 3 timers. The timers are for how curly you want your hair: the longer you keep a strand in, the curlier it will be. Plus, it only takes 30 seconds for it to heat up, which means that you can plug it in and start using it practically right away without having to wait too long.

As I already mentioned, it also comes with a compact folding handle dryer and a mini ceramic straightener. Both of these would be absolutely perfect for taking on a trip or perhaps even using it on occasion at home.

Hands down, this is one of the best Christmas presents you can get a woman or girl right now. It’s a major time saver and best of all is that hair comes out looking amazing in just a matter of seconds. Although I don’t own one yet, I had the pleasure of trying one recently and I was very surprised at how curly my hair turned out. My hair doesn’t usually curl at all and yet within ten seconds, the strand I had inserted came out in a perfect curl. Certainly not a messy curl as in the picture above but if you wanted to, you could achieve that effect as well by teasing your hair after curling it.

Here’s what one reviewer had to say about it:

I love the Conair Curl Secret. I have medium length naturally wavy hair. It takes me about 15 minutes to curl my hair as I just curl the bottoms. The second day, I just need to touch up a few curls and by the third day, I have a beautiful full pony tail. You do not need to use ANY hair product at all (although I use just a tiny bit of curl serum). Loved it so much, many of my friends have bought it too and been super happy.

Everywhere else, the Conair Curl Secret is roughly $90 and doesn’t come with the 2 freebies that Costco’s bundle comes with. In fact, it’s such a hot Christmas gift that it’s already completely sold out at both Best Buy and Future Shop, but considering that you get the 2 freebies for a total of $99, Costco’s deal is definitely a much better one anyways.

Wagjag Canada has a Gillette Fusion Power Bundle from Healthsnap for just $29, worth $65. With our exclusive Wagjag coupon code WAGJAGMOOSE, you can score this bundle for just $26.10 with free shipping.

This bundle includes:

  • 5-blade precision razor

According to Wagjag, the value of this bundle is $65. I decided to price compare with Well.ca as they are one of the foremost Canadian online health and beauty suppliers.

  • Gillette Fusion Power Razor – $16.19
  • Gillette Fusion Power Blades – $25.19
  • Duracell Coppertop AAA Batteries (4 pack) – $9.99

Add all that up and your total comes out to $51.37. I also price compared at Healthsnap themselves:

  • Gillette Fusion Power Razor – $13.49
  • Gillette Fusion Power Blades – $24.89
  • Duracell Coppertop AAA Batteries (4 pack) – $9.89

Add all that up and your total comes out to $48.27. You can easily see that this offer at Wagjag is the better deal as the blades alone will nearly cost you the bundle price. Do note that this is not an auto-redemption voucher: you will need to take your voucher and use it at Healthsnap.ca on your order of the three products.

Now, I am having issues with some fine print. The offer includes shipping costs, which is where some of that $65 value is coming from. However, in the fine print it says:

$2.90 transaction fee applies. Does not include tax. Tax payable upon redemption.

Yet, I went as far as the button that completes my order and there was no $2.90 transaction fee. I am assuming that $2.90 transaction fee will be payable to Healthsnap when you use the voucher there. Thankfully, our Wagjag coupon code gives you a $2.90 discount on the bundle so you are still paying just $29 for it. In addition, you will have to pay tax on your purchase, which sucks.

While this deal is not quite as hot as it appears upon first look, it is still a good solid deal. Even after the transaction fee and tax, you will still be well below the retail price for the razor, batteries, and extra blades. While you will not get this bundle in time for Christmas, most guys need to shave so this is a good gift anytime.

The Body Shop: 50% Off & Free Gift ($20 Value) with $75 Purchase (EXPIRED)

The Body Shop: 50% Off & Free Gift ($20 Value) with $75 Purchase (EXPIRED)

There is a whole stack of deals at The Body Shop Canada right now. Receive 50% off all regular-priced items and get free shipping on orders of $40 or more (instead of $50). On top of that, receive a free gift (up to $20 value), when you purchase $75 or more.

Now, there are several exclusions to the 50% off deal. However, the list is too long and specific for me to quote here. So, if something is not discounted on the website, try consulting the list of terms and conditions on their website for the promotion. Most normal items appear to be included.

I am very curious about their new Vanilla Brulee line as I am a long-time fan of Creme Brulee. The Vanilla Brulee Body Butter retails for $20 but is marked down to $10 right now. I would pair that with the Vanilla Brulee Soap for just $2.50, originally $5.

Now, if you are loading up your cart with goodies and you hit that magical amount of $40 – then you will also receive free shipping as well. You want to hit $40 worth of goods as shipping costs a flat rate of $5 and you would be better off spending that on awesome products.

When your cart reaches $75 worth of goods, you get to select a free item valued at $75 or more. The option will pop up at checkout, but you will get to choose from:

  • Shea Body Butter – $20 value
  • Hemp Hand Protector – $20 value
  • Vitamin E Night Cream – $20 value
  • Maca Root Shave Cream – $16 value
  • Camomile Gentle Eye Makeup Remover – $16 value

I would choose the Vitamin E Night Cream as it is the perfect shade of pink and the combination of going from warm to cold (indoors/outdoors) always leaves my skin dry.

With all the amazing sale prices like a bottle of Tea Tree Oil (fantastic for acne) for just $5 (was $10), it should not be hard to hit the free gift minimum.

While most collections and gift sets are excluded from the save 50% offer, there is a good deal on these cute little Gift Cubes. Usually $10 each, you can buy two for just $15. Each box actually has a retail value of $12, so you are getting $24 worth of product for $15 with this deal. The gift cubes are also a cute seasonal gift.

The Body Shop really has some of the most amazing sales and I enjoy when they stack together. Stuff a few stockings this year with fantastic smelling products from The Body Shop Canada.

TopBox: 78% Off Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow – Now $5 & Free Shipping

TopBox: 78% Off Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow Now $5 & Free Shipping

TopBox Canada is selling Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow (1.2g) for just $5, originally $22.50. You receive approximately 78% off the original price and shipping is free as always.

Three of the four shades available are on sale:

  • Seaspray
  • Rich List
  • Black Comedy

This is just a great little deal and a fun way to spoil yourself on the cheap. Marsk Mineral Eyeshadows are 100% natural and cruelty free – they have never been tested on animals. The mineral-based loose powder has a creamy texture that blends well and creates a striking eye effect.

The Seaspray is fantastic for the girl who wants to be a mermaid, and the little Goth inside of me wants to buy the Black Comedy. I think Rich List is the gold colour eyeshade that would be glorious for holiday gatherings and other parties.

While these products do qualify for free shipping, which is what makes this deal even greater, they will not ship out until January 15th when the TopBox subscriptions ship. Thus, it will take a little patience to get your order unless you want to pay for shipping. Personally, I can wait.

There are some other good deals in the TopBox shop right now, but none quite as good as the eye shadow deal above. However, you may wish to add this Pari Beauty Eye Pencil Black to your cart for only $5, originally $12.

My favourite of the other deals would have to be the So Susan Intense Eye Shadow Palette with Coated Pigments for just $10, originally $29.96. You save 66% off the original price, which is a very good deal and it is such a pretty little palette.

In addition, this MeMeMe Cosmetics Shimmer Stack – Bronze is $2 off the regular price of $17 right now, pay only $15. I think you can do better with the deals above though.

Keep in mind that many of the limited edition holiday and winter boxes are out right now from TopBox. Anything you order now will ship on January 15th, 2015. While these will not make a good Christmas gift because you will not receive them until the New Year – they are a nice little gift all the same. I have several friends with birthdays in January. If I do not shop for them in November or December, I never seem to have any money come January.
