The Old Spaghetti Factory Canada is running a special promotion on the purchase of their gift cards, which is worthy of a blog post. Their promo page tells you a bit more about it.

If you buy a $25 gift card between now and the end of December 2008, they will also give you a $10 bonus card for free!! You can print off the order form online, or just get the offer at the Spaghetti Factory near you. If you want to find an Old Spaghetti Factory at your nearest location, check their store locator.

Even if you don’t use these as gifts, and you are a regular patron of The Old Spagetti Factory anyway, you could even buy these and make use of them yourselves. The $10 can be redeemed in the new year, between January and March 2009.

I’ve eaten at The Spagetti Factory a few times… I quite enjoyed it. I’m a big fan of Italian restaurants though. I can’t get enough garlic bread!

Here’s one for you Quebecois! This is a weekend offer from SAQ – it will be running between Friday the 14^th November, to Sunday the 16^th, 2008. If you purchase goods worth $100 or more, you will receive a free $15 gift card to spend on future purchases.

This offer usually only happens once or twice a year at SAQ, who reportedly have pretty cheap booze anyway. This might be the perfect excuse to stock up on vino and bubbly for the upcoming Christmas holidays!

In conjunction with Procter & Gamble, Wal-Mart Canada are doing a great offer on a free gift card. If you purchase $50 or more of applicable P&G products, they will reward you with a free $20 gift card to spend at your local Walmart store!!

Here’s how:

To receive your $20 Wal Mart Gift Card by mail, send in your cash register receipt(s) dated between November 1 to December 31, 2008 with the participating products circled accumulating $50 (before taxes). Offer valid in Canada only.

I’d find it really easy to spend $50 on these types of items in Walmart stores! The list contains: Pantene, Olay, CoverGirl, Clairol, Oral-B, Old Spice, Always, Tampax, Ivory and Gillette products. The Gillette products in particular are always expensive – the Mach 3 razor blades for my partner would go a huge way to making up the minimum spend of $50. Here’s a thought – how about buying a few Clairol Herbal Essences items and putting them towards getting a free haircut as well!!

It does also say that it doesn’t have to be on a single purchase – multiple receipts are accepted!! So even if you wouldn’t spend that amount on Proctor & Gamble beauty products all by yourself, why not ask family & friends for their receipts so you can take advantage of this offer?

I always love getting free stuff when I am doing my regular shopping!! This is a good one from ShoppersDrugMart. They are giving us a FREE $10 gift card if we spend $50 or more in store. I find it incredibly easy to spend $50 in a shopper’s drug mart!!

Just throw in a few bottles of my favorite shampoo, maybe a nice bottle of perfume for a treat, and that’s easily $50!

You can probably get your Shoppers Optimum points on the purchases too, if you collect those.

This special promo will only be active between Monday, September 22nd to Friday, September 26th, 2008. You can read the full ins and outs on the Shoppersdrugmart.ca web page if you wish. It shows you all that nasty small print.

There are a few exclusions, as always with these kind of offers. E.g. Doesn’t apply to tobacco products, prescriptions, etc. Understandable!

Getting a free $20 giftcard for spending $60 is pretty great – I know I could easily spend $60 at Shoppers – I would just have to stock up on a few bottles of my favorite conditioner or moisturizer!!

There’s a bit of small print:

This is a great deal which is being offered to us by Walmart Canada and Pampers! If you’d like a FREE $15 Wal-mart gift card, read on….

Here’s how. Purchase both of these items:

• Pampers Diapers box size 3, 4, 5 or 6
• Pampers Wipes 5, 6 or 7 count refill box

You must buy them in-store @ Walmart, between July 15^th and December 15th, 2008. Then fill in your personal details on the pdf mail in rebate form @ Walmart.ca, mail it in with your original cash register receipt before the 15^th January 2009, and wait on your freebie!

It does not say “one per household” as some of these offers do, so I’d highly recommend stocking up on some Pampers products and reaping the rewards! It’s great to get extra free stuff when you’re buying things you’d be buying anyway! And I’m sure the free $15 gift cards would be easy to spend! This is a hot deal for you young mommies and daddies out there.
