Garmin Vivofit Fitness Band with Heart Rate Monitor Was $200 | Now $99.99 @ Shop.ca

Garmin Vivofit Fitness Band with Heart Rate Monitor Was $200 | Now $99.99 @ Shop.ca

Shop.ca has discounted the Garmin Vivofit Fitness Band with Heart Rate Monitor from $200 down to $119.99. Use one of these Shop.ca Facebook $20 off $50 coupon codes to bring the band with monitor down to $99.99 with free shipping.

When price comparing the Vivofit Fitness band and heart rate monitor, you must be careful to make sure the package you are price comparing with actually includes the heart rate monitor. The band can be sold without it but you will not get the heart rate function. I price compared with several different stores to make sure this was the best deal.

The cheapest with monitor bundle on Amazon Canada is $142.89 (slate, black, or teal). Other colours can cost up to $20 more. Costco Canada has the bundle priced at $149.99 for any colour. Staples Canada is selling the Vivofit with monitor for $164.93. Altitude Sports was the highest at $189.99 for the duo.

Shop.ca’s sale price is better than any of the other prices I could find and that is before you apply the coupon. After you apply one of the Facebook coupons, then the price undercuts all other retailers by $40 minimum.

I actually found this deal when my mother messaged me about wanting to buy a Fitbit Charge HR. She wanted 24hr a day heart rate monitoring. The Fitbit Charge HR sounded like it would be the ideal match, but I discovered some problems. First, the Fitbit Charge HR cannot handle water. The Garmin Vivofit Fitness Band is water resistant to 50 meters. That means a quick dip shower will not destroy your investment.

Furthermore, other devices are pretty accurate measuring a resting heart rate, but that accuracy will drop when you are more active. Because the Garmin Vivofit Fitness Band uses an external heart rate monitor (included) that positions over your heart, the monitor is far more accurate.

This monitor also has everything else you would want in a fitness gadget. Like others, it records and displays steps, calories, and distance. Based on your activity level, it creates personalized daily goals. Throughout the day, it will remind you to get moving. The Vivofit features wireless sync and has a 1+-year battery life. There is no need to pull it off and charge it every five days. In addition, this device monitors your sleep stats – my favourite feature and the reason I want one of these.

Devices like this can actually help encourage you to get fit, since it’s cool to see how you’re increasing the amount of exercise that you’re doing each day.

I have a Wii Fit Meter, which is much more basic than this Garmin Forerunner 110 Unisex Watch, and I love it! It was fun to see how many steps my significant other and I took when we ventured over to Florida early this year (we decided to venture from our hotel and locate some outlet malls. After approximately 22,000 steps, we finally found one that we wanted to check out. Good times). With this Garmin Forerunner 110 Unisex Watch, you’ll have plenty of customizable options that you can check out. Just click here to learn more about the features of this watch.

I’ve included a brief review of this Garmin Forerunner 110 Unisex Watch from a satisfied Amazon customer below:

Works perfect for me. I’ve used it for 3 weeks for the training toward an upcoming half-marathon and it just works very well.

Happy hunting, my fellow deal hunters! I hope you all have a great Monday!

Microsoft Store Canada: Garmin Forerunner 110 GPS Watch Only $100

Microsoft Store Canada: Garmin Forerunner 110 GPS Watch Only $100

Get the Garmin Forerunner 110 GPS watch for only $99.99, saving you $50 off the $149.99 regular price tag from Microsoft Store.

If you are a runner or actively getting into the fitness realm, you may want to find a way to track your stats. A GPS watch like the Garmin Forerunner 110 is one of the easiest ways to do it. You may be thinking, “But Eva, I use my smartphone to track my fitness stats”, and sure you may just do that, but you may not want to if you are serious about your statistics. There are quite a few reasons why a GPS watch is a better tool than your smartphone for this type of application and these include size, the watch is waterproof and it is quite a bit more accurate. Check out this article from Athletes GPS on the pros and cons of smartphones vs. GPS watches.

Another question you might want to ask me is why you need to track your data, and the reason is simply this: knowing how fast/hard/good you are will make you want to go faster/harder/better. I can attest to this, as I’ve tracked my data quite a bit over the years and found when I was lacking, I pushed it harder, and when I was getting better, I pushed it harder even more.

You’ll get this item shipped to you for free as well, which is a nice savings.

The Source Canada: $40 Off Garmin Nuvi 40LM GPS (Now $99.99) + Free Shipping

The Source Canada is offering $40 off the Garmin Nuvi 40LM GPS. Originally $139.99, it is now on sale for $99.99.

Deep linking doesn’t work for us for some evil reason – so merely look up the product code #1917124 and you will be immediately taken the the sale priced GPS.

This GPS has pretty good reviews from buyers and many mention how easy it is to set up and the lifetime maps are big incentives.

The price for this GPS from The Source actually kicks their competition well. Best Buy has the same GPS for $139.99 and Amazon.ca, which is notorious for their great prices, also has the GPS at $139.99.

I think a great gift for Father’s Day would be a GPS. My brother-in-law Henry uses one and I have never seen driving made simpler. I have been wanting to get one for my car because I get nervous when navigating roads I have never driven before. Now that I am moving from Alberta to Vancouver Island I will soon be only driving on roads I don’t know!

The Source Canada even offers free shipping on orders of $20 or more right now so you can get this shipped to your home for free!
