Save 61%! Dungeons and Dragons Boardgame: The Wrath of Ashardalon Was $64.47 | Now $33 & Free Shipping @ (EXPIRED)

Save 61%! Dungeons and Dragons Boardgame: The Wrath of Ashardalon Was $64.47 | Now $33 & Free Shipping @ (EXPIRED)

D&D players, we are calling your name! Check out the Dungeons and Dragons: The Wrath of Ashardalon game. This game was $64.47 but is now discounted to $32.99. This item qualifies for completely free super save shipping.

Whether you are a fan of Dungeons and Dragons or just in the mood to learn, you should check out this amazing deal on the Dungeons and Dragons board game, The Wrath of Ashardalon. If you love science fiction and fantasy, this game might be a good starter. This game is a lighter version of D&D, but the pieces can be mixed with other Dungeons and Dragons games.  I would say most games last between 45 minutes to an hour and a half, making it a great option for those who are looking for only a taste of the epic game. You can play this game alone or with up to five friends.

This would make a great gift for a budding sci-fi fan. I have played this game a few times and it is a lot of fun. I do not consider myself a heavy Dungeons and Dragons player. I have a few friends who are heavier players and they suggested we all try this game at one of our game nights. Even better, the stakes were even so I was not completely killed off by the more experienced players once I caught on to the game. You can pick up this game with no previous knowledge of how to play Dungeons and Dragons, I did!

This game is not sold at many of the major retailers online. Games like this one tend to be sold at specialty stores or dedicated game stores. A few other bigger retailers carry this game. Over at Chapters Indigo, this board game is currently on sale for $47.02. You could pick this game up at Beau Baby for $64.99.

Most of the reviews for this are long. Dungeon and Dragons players tend to be serious about their games. So many of the reviews I found either just say the game was fun or are fairly in depth giving you full details of how to play. Buyers are praising this game for having many pieces that are easily integrated into other games, and for overall being a lot of fun. If you are hooked on the game, know you can easily expand this into a lot more play.

Grab your copy now while the price is still excellent. If you walk into any serious game store, you will pay much more for this fantastic game. You will be all set to hold you next game night BBQ with this fun game.

Chapters Indigo: Wii U Deluxe Console Set Was $299 | Now $239 w/ Visa Checkout

Posted by on May 11, 2015 at 12:10 PM

Chapters Indigo: Wii U Deluxe Console Set Was $299 | Now $239 w/ Visa Checkout

I am going to continue to point out some of the amazing deals you can score with the Visa Checkout 20% off discount at Chapters Indigo. The Wii U Deluxe Console Set with Super Mario 3D World & Nintendo Land comes down from $299 to only $239.20 after Visa Checkout discount.

Thanks to my tester Daniel, I have confirmed that the Visa Checkout discount can be used on more than one order per account. He has already placed two orders with the Visa Checkout discount.

Now, I price compared this console with as many other retailers as I could find it at. I do this to ensure that you are receiving the best deal possible. This console costs:

  • $299 @ Amazon Canada
  • $299.99 @ Toys R Us Canada
  • $299 @ Walmart Canada
  • $430.99 @ Tiger Direct Canada
  • $299.99 @ Best Buy Canada
  • $309.99 @ Newegg Canada

While most of these qualify for free shipping, that still does not offset the just over $60 difference between Chapters Canada and other retailers. The console on Chapters Indigo does not qualify for free shipping to your home. However, you can have it shipped to store free of charge (I recommend), or pay a few dollars for shipping to your home.

This, is a very good deal and I expect it to sell out just as quickly as the PS4 consoles have. I assume this one is already low in stock as there is a one to two week wait before shipping already.

This console set comes with two games: Super Mario 3D World and Nintendo Land. Thus, straight out of the box you are ready to play. In the box, you will also find the Black Wii U console, Wii U AC adapter. Wii U GamePad AC adapter, high speed HDMI Cable, sensor bar, Wii U GamePad cradle, Wii U GamePad stand support, and Wii U console stand.

I have always wanted a Wii U unit, as I loved playing Super Mario when I was a kid. Out of all the hand-held gaming consoles, this would be my choice easily. I think the Wii games are a lot more fun and certainly kid (and inner-child) friendly. At this price, it would be insane not to buy this. Consoles like this rarely go on sale.

Microsoft Canada: MSI Leopard (i7, 8GB, 1TB) Gaming Laptop Only $809

Posted by on April 26, 2015 at 12:52 PM

Microsoft Canada: MSI Leopard (i7, 8GB, 1TB) Gaming Laptop Only $809

Microsoft Canada is selling the gorgeous MSI GP60 Leopard-665 Signature Edition Gaming Laptop on sale from $899 down to $809.10 with free shipping with educational discount.

Now, I discovered something interesting at the Microsoft Store. You just need to pick a province and an institution. You do not actually need to supply your student ID, so almost anyone could – if they wanted – take advantage of this deal. You just need to click ‘educational store’, put in your province and your institution, and it will give you the discounted price.

Microsoft Canada: MSI Leopard (i7, 8GB, 1TB) Gaming Laptop Only $809

Now, you may think that 10% off a laptop is not that big. However, I chose this laptop for a special reason. I was looking for the least expensive laptop with an i7 processor. I was personally looking for myself and for a friend of mine who wants speed. I told him about this laptop and he said “but I don’t game” and I said, “it doesn’t really matter – gaming laptops are built for speed.” The MSI GP60 Leopard-665 Signature Edition Gaming Laptop is one of the cheapest laptops I can find with in i7 processor and good stats.

The laptop’s stats are as follows:

  • 15.6-inch (396.24-millimeter) Full HD display
  • Intel Core i7-4710HQ
  • 8GB memory/1TB HDD
  • NVIDIA GeForce 840M graphics

Now, I price compared this laptop with where I found the same model but different stats. The MSI GP60 Leopard laptop with i5-4210H processor, 8GB RAM, and 750GB hard drive costs $949.99. So, you are paying $140 more for a slower processor and a smaller hard drive.

Now, I also found the one that matches the stats sold by the Microsoft Store. The MSI GP60 Leopard i7 4700HQ, 8GB, 1TB, with the same graphics card costs $1099.99. While they advertise a mail-in-rebate that drops the price to $1039.99, this laptop is still $230 more expensive at than it is at Microsoft Canada.

I also checked out prices on Amazon Canada. The same configuration with a slightly better graphics card costs $1099.00 at Amazon Canada. There is a secondary marketplace seller that is selling the same stats and graphic card MSI laptop for $1091.16.

Essentially, this is a very good price for this laptop. Even comparing with base i7 models, you can rarely find a laptop with an i7 processor for under $800. There are a few, but they generally have very small hard drives (half the size), half the RAM, and a normal graphics card.

Azio Blue Backlight Gaming Keyboard Was $80 | Now $23 @

Posted by on April 11, 2015 at 10:00 AM

Azio Blue Backlight Gaming Keyboard Was $80 | Now $23 @

The Azio gaming keyboard is on discount today, and you can score it at a steal. This blue backlight keyboard was $79.99, but you can grab yours for only $22.99.

The keyboard I am featuring today is a basic gaming keyboard that should work well for a beginner or occasional gamer. This keyboard is backlit with blue so you can see the keys while you are focused on your game.  There is a volume control knob on the keyboard. There is also a palm rest included that is detachable so you could adjust it or remove it all together if you choose. This keyboard has a one-year warranty included, which will back up your purchase.

Price Comparison

The only place I am finding this keyboard is You can purchase this keyboard for $41.69 with Amazon, or pay almost half of that at NCIX. This Logitech USB Gaming Keyboard @ Best Buy Canada looks to be similar, but you would pay on sale, $65.89.

Reviews are looking good overall. I find the reviews at NCIX mostly speak about the backlight.  Here is one review at NCIX.

Solid Feel, Reads well with the room lights off. A few macro keys would not hurt. I needed a backlit keyboard, and this does the job well. The lighting can be turn on/off, but mine stays on until bedtime as it enhances the view of the keys even in the daytime. For the sale price, it is well worth it.

I might suggest looking at to read the reviews if you are considering this purchase. Reviewers mention that the keyboard is not loud and is bouncy for when you are typing at fast speeds during an intense part of your game. Also mentioned is that the volume knob is not as large and bulky as it looks in the picture.

Flat rate shipping for this item is $8.99. The good news is we can help you make this an even better deal. Over in our coupon code forums you can use our exclusive code MOOSE for free shipping on any order $25+.

You will need a filler item to top off your cart to qualify for free shipping. I recommend the Linke Dual USB Car Charger that was $12.99, but is now $4.99. This charger would have come in handy on my last road trip. Our car charger only has room for one USB port, but this one will charge two mobile devices together such as your phone or tablet.

This keyboard is a great deal for a beginning gamer or as a backup for a more advanced gamer. I do not expect that this will do the job for a heavy gamer as the primary keyboard. If you are looking for a keyboard that is a little more durable for a younger child, this might also be your deal. Sometimes it takes a while for kids to learn to be gentle. This keyboard is meant to be wailed on more than an average keyboard.

NCIX Canada: Steelseries World of Warcraft Gaming Mouse Was $130 | Now $50 & Free Shipping

Posted by on March 5, 2015 at 2:15 PM

NCIX Canada: Steelseries World of Warcraft Gaming Mouse Was $130 | Now $50 & Free Shipping

For all you gamers out there, I’ve got a great deal today from NCIX. get the Steelseries World of Warcraft wireless illumination MMO gaming mouse for $49.99 and free shipping, with a regular price of $129.99.

Sit back, get comfortable and be ready to game for hours with this wireless mouse. More than just a mouse with lots of fun technical features, this mouse is a thing of beauty and meant to look good even when you aren’t playing with it.

I have to admit, I don’t know anything about gaming or computer hardware like a gaming mouse, but I do know a deal when I see it. $80 off at NCIX is quite the steal on this item and I found that it was not even close to the $50 sale price at any other store.

At Staples, this mouse sells for a steep $134.99, which is actually higher than the regular price at NCIX. Amazon‘s got a lower price than that at $99.25, which is still far more expensive than the price at NCIX.

If you wanted more information about this mouse, you could also check out that Amazon link, which has much more written up about it than NCIX. For example, this mouse has a 16-hour battery life off the charger during intensive game play. You could possibly get even more if you were using it casually. If you are doing a marathon gaming session and the mouse does die, you can simply plug it in and use it wired. I love this and have a few items in my home that I wish I could do this with!

There are also 11 programmable buttons so you can use your mouse in the way that you want to use it.

I found a few reviews of this mouse on and this one is a good objective review:

Overall this is a very nice Warcraft licensed mouse. Die-hard World of Warcraft fans are sure to enjoy this mouse if they can stomach the asking price of $130. However, for such a high price point there are better options available under $80.

What’s great about this review is that this mouse is now only $50, which means this mouse that was originally really great in the $100+ category is now the best option in the under $80 category.

Future Shop: Turtle Beach Gaming Headset just $29.99 *HOT*

Future Shop: Turtle Beach Gaming Headset just $29.99 *HOT*

Future Shop is totally blowing my mind with their price on the Turtle Beach Ear Force DXL1 Dolby Surround Sound Gaming Headset for Boxing Week. Ignore the ‘savings’ as it is horribly inaccurate and check out my price comparison below. Future Shop has this Turtle Beach headset that retails for $100+ on sale for $29.99.

They have the same deal at Best Buy but the expiry dates are different. You can get this deal at Future Shop until the end of the year while Best Buy’s deal ends tonight.

I price compared this unit because the ‘saved’ price at Future Shop is way out to lunch. Here is what the competitors are actually selling this headset for:

  • $99.95 @ The Source Canada (backordered)
  • $127.77 @ Amazon Canada
  • $136.79 @ Staples Canada

Oh yes, this Turtle Beach gaming headset is quite the deal. While it is designed for the Xbox 360, it IS compatible with the Xbox One, a PC/MAC, and even a PS3/PS4 with a small adapter cable – consult Turtle Beach’s website for more details. Since most people will purchase this to use either with their Xbox or with PC, I have included the PC hookup instructions to be your guide:

Future Shop: Turtle Beach Gaming Headset just $29.99 *HOT*

There are plenty of image tutorials on how to connect this headset to other gaming consoles as well.

One of the primary selling features of this headset is the DSS2 surround sound processor, which retails for $79.99 alone on Essentially, the headset and the surround sound processor are cheaper than buying the processor alone.

The headset also features:

  • 20 Hz – 20 kHz frequency response
  • In-line amplifier
  • 50mm speakers
  • separate volume controls
  • Positionable microphone

Essentially, you will enjoy the immersive experience of 360-degree surround sound blasting through these speakers while being able to differentiate the sounds from chat windows (etc) and keeping them at a lower level. has many reviews for the headset with most of them being positive. One reviewer concluded his lengthy review saying:

Overall, this headset is amazing. After having high-end headsets, I really think they don’t really compare to this. I paid $70 for this here on Amazon. You really can’t beat the price for this wired headset. If you’re looking for a nice, comfortable headset with great sound; look no further.

Well, if he paid $70 USD for the headset and thought it was an unbeatable price, you really should snap it up for only $30 CA with free shipping.

Canada Computers: Razer BlackWidow Gaming Keyboard Only $69

Canada Computers: Razer BlackWidow Gaming Keyboard Only $69

Canada Computers has a great deal on the Razer BlackWidow 2013 expert mechanical keyboard. Making way for the 2014 models, it is now on clearance with $30 off, now only $69.88, was $99.88.

If you are considering a new gaming keyboard and are holding out for the 2014 version, consider that it will probably be more than the original price of this one, so you could be paying $50 more for only a small step up. This keyboard is top-of-the-line, with tactile feedback, superior gaming response, and fast key actuations. It also has enhanced anti-ghosting technology and 10-key roll-over in gaming mode. There is room to plug in other gaming or storage devices. The colour is black, and it is anti-fingerprint, so no one will know how much you really use it.

Be aware that because this is a clearance item, it may have an already opened box or be a display model and there is no further discount for this. There are only a few left online and not many in-stock at the stores, so I wouldn’t wait to grab one if you want it.

Shipping is based on where you live and assessed differently with each item.

Dell Canada: Save $425 NEW Alienware M14x Sale $1,499.99 (Was $1,924.99)

Dell Canada: Save $425 NEW Alienware M14x Sale $1,499.99 (Was $1,924.99)

I once told my husband the only way I would go back to PC from Apple was if I got an Alienware computer. Just this weekend we ordered an Alienware computer because Dell was offering some really fabulous deals like this one: Get a loaded New Alienware M14x for only $1,499.99 (Was $1,924.99). You save $425.

Alienware computers are meant for PC gamers. They are gaming computers, built for good graphics and fast speed. The deal above has the following specs:

  • Processor: 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3610QM processor (6MB Cache, up to 3.3GHz w/ Turbo Boost 2.0)
  • Operating System: Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64bit
  • Memory: 12GB3 DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz
  • Hard Drive: 1TB 5,400 RPM SATA 3Gb/s
  • Optical Drive: Slot-Loading Dual Layer Blu-ray Reader (BR-ROM, DVD+-RW, CD-RW)
  • Video Card: 2 GB GDDR5 NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 650M with Optimus™

This is not the one we ended up picking up. I went with one that had a smaller HD (750), the optical drive in mine isn’t blu-ray, and the screen is HD but not HD+. The one above is HD+. I also got mine with a student offer (Free XBOX) but not everyone has this option. For a mere $100 more than I paid for mine you can get the totally tricked out beast above.

When you purchase a PC currently, you will get Windows 8 for $14.99 when it comes out.

While Alienware is not the cheapest for what you get, it is comparable especially with a deal like this. Alienware computers are also loved because they look wicked.

TigerDirect: $25 Off Creative Labs Gaming Headset Now $24.99

Give a gift to the gamer in you (or your circle of friends or family) with the Creative Labs Fatal1ty Gaming Headset. It normally goes for $49.97 but, until the very last minute of November 17, you can use a coupon code to take $25 off that price.

  • Coupon code: DGR47980
  • Expires: 11:59 PM on November 17

It comes in black with some red detailing. The reviews on site are mostly positive with a few complaining about ear soreness when left on for a long time. This happens to me with even the most high-end cans, and the solution is easy:  take a break! We need to rest our ears every now and then—and a couple of hours without taking the headphones off is just too much for our little aural wonders to take.

These headphones come with plush velvet earpads, a detachable noise-cancelling mic, and a generous eight foot cord. Just writing about them makes me want to get my game on!
