NCIX Canada: Steelseries World of Warcraft Gaming Mouse Was $130 | Now $50 & Free Shipping

NCIX Canada: Steelseries World of Warcraft Gaming Mouse Was $130 | Now $50 & Free Shipping

For all you gamers out there, I’ve got a great deal today from NCIX. get the Steelseries World of Warcraft wireless illumination MMO gaming mouse for $49.99 and free shipping, with a regular price of $129.99.

Sit back, get comfortable and be ready to game for hours with this wireless mouse. More than just a mouse with lots of fun technical features, this mouse is a thing of beauty and meant to look good even when you aren’t playing with it.

I have to admit, I don’t know anything about gaming or computer hardware like a gaming mouse, but I do know a deal when I see it. $80 off at NCIX is quite the steal on this item and I found that it was not even close to the $50 sale price at any other store.

At Staples, this mouse sells for a steep $134.99, which is actually higher than the regular price at NCIX. Amazon‘s got a lower price than that at $99.25, which is still far more expensive than the price at NCIX.

If you wanted more information about this mouse, you could also check out that Amazon link, which has much more written up about it than NCIX. For example, this mouse has a 16-hour battery life off the charger during intensive game play. You could possibly get even more if you were using it casually. If you are doing a marathon gaming session and the mouse does die, you can simply plug it in and use it wired. I love this and have a few items in my home that I wish I could do this with!

There are also 11 programmable buttons so you can use your mouse in the way that you want to use it.

I found a few reviews of this mouse on Amazon.com and this one is a good objective review:

Overall this is a very nice Warcraft licensed mouse. Die-hard World of Warcraft fans are sure to enjoy this mouse if they can stomach the asking price of $130. However, for such a high price point there are better options available under $80.

What’s great about this review is that this mouse is now only $50, which means this mouse that was originally really great in the $100+ category is now the best option in the under $80 category.

Future Shop: Turtle Beach Gaming Headset just $29.99 *HOT*

Future Shop: Turtle Beach Gaming Headset just $29.99 *HOT*

Future Shop is totally blowing my mind with their price on the Turtle Beach Ear Force DXL1 Dolby Surround Sound Gaming Headset for Boxing Week. Ignore the ‘savings’ as it is horribly inaccurate and check out my price comparison below. Future Shop has this Turtle Beach headset that retails for $100+ on sale for $29.99.

They have the same deal at Best Buy but the expiry dates are different. You can get this deal at Future Shop until the end of the year while Best Buy’s deal ends tonight.

I price compared this unit because the ‘saved’ price at Future Shop is way out to lunch. Here is what the competitors are actually selling this headset for:

  • $99.95 @ The Source Canada (backordered)
  • $127.77 @ Amazon Canada
  • $136.79 @ Staples Canada

Oh yes, this Turtle Beach gaming headset is quite the deal. While it is designed for the Xbox 360, it IS compatible with the Xbox One, a PC/MAC, and even a PS3/PS4 with a small adapter cable – consult Turtle Beach’s website for more details. Since most people will purchase this to use either with their Xbox or with PC, I have included the PC hookup instructions to be your guide:

Future Shop: Turtle Beach Gaming Headset just $29.99 *HOT*

There are plenty of image tutorials on how to connect this headset to other gaming consoles as well.

One of the primary selling features of this headset is the DSS2 surround sound processor, which retails for $79.99 alone on Amazon.ca. Essentially, the headset and the surround sound processor are cheaper than buying the processor alone.

The headset also features:

  • 20 Hz – 20 kHz frequency response
  • In-line amplifier
  • 50mm speakers
  • separate volume controls
  • Positionable microphone

Essentially, you will enjoy the immersive experience of 360-degree surround sound blasting through these speakers while being able to differentiate the sounds from chat windows (etc) and keeping them at a lower level.

Amazon.com has many reviews for the headset with most of them being positive. One reviewer concluded his lengthy review saying:

Overall, this headset is amazing. After having high-end headsets, I really think they don’t really compare to this. I paid $70 for this here on Amazon. You really can’t beat the price for this wired headset. If you’re looking for a nice, comfortable headset with great sound; look no further.

Well, if he paid $70 USD for the headset and thought it was an unbeatable price, you really should snap it up for only $30 CA with free shipping.

Canada Computers: Razer BlackWidow Gaming Keyboard Only $69

Canada Computers: Razer BlackWidow Gaming Keyboard Only $69

Canada Computers has a great deal on the Razer BlackWidow 2013 expert mechanical keyboard. Making way for the 2014 models, it is now on clearance with $30 off, now only $69.88, was $99.88.

If you are considering a new gaming keyboard and are holding out for the 2014 version, consider that it will probably be more than the original price of this one, so you could be paying $50 more for only a small step up. This keyboard is top-of-the-line, with tactile feedback, superior gaming response, and fast key actuations. It also has enhanced anti-ghosting technology and 10-key roll-over in gaming mode. There is room to plug in other gaming or storage devices. The colour is black, and it is anti-fingerprint, so no one will know how much you really use it.

Be aware that because this is a clearance item, it may have an already opened box or be a display model and there is no further discount for this. There are only a few left online and not many in-stock at the stores, so I wouldn’t wait to grab one if you want it.

Shipping is based on where you live and assessed differently with each item.

Dell Canada: Save $425 NEW Alienware M14x Sale $1,499.99 (Was $1,924.99)

Dell Canada: Save $425 NEW Alienware M14x Sale $1,499.99 (Was $1,924.99)

I once told my husband the only way I would go back to PC from Apple was if I got an Alienware computer. Just this weekend we ordered an Alienware computer because Dell was offering some really fabulous deals like this one: Get a loaded New Alienware M14x for only $1,499.99 (Was $1,924.99). You save $425.

Alienware computers are meant for PC gamers. They are gaming computers, built for good graphics and fast speed. The deal above has the following specs:

  • Processor: 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3610QM processor (6MB Cache, up to 3.3GHz w/ Turbo Boost 2.0)
  • Operating System: Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64bit
  • Memory: 12GB3 DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz
  • Hard Drive: 1TB 5,400 RPM SATA 3Gb/s
  • Optical Drive: Slot-Loading Dual Layer Blu-ray Reader (BR-ROM, DVD+-RW, CD-RW)
  • Video Card: 2 GB GDDR5 NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 650M with Optimus™

This is not the one we ended up picking up. I went with one that had a smaller HD (750), the optical drive in mine isn’t blu-ray, and the screen is HD but not HD+. The one above is HD+. I also got mine with a student offer (Free XBOX) but not everyone has this option. For a mere $100 more than I paid for mine you can get the totally tricked out beast above.

When you purchase a PC currently, you will get Windows 8 for $14.99 when it comes out.

While Alienware is not the cheapest for what you get, it is comparable especially with a deal like this. Alienware computers are also loved because they look wicked.

TigerDirect: $25 Off Creative Labs Gaming Headset – Now $24.99

TigerDirect: $25 Off Creative Labs Gaming Headset Now $24.99

Give a gift to the gamer in you (or your circle of friends or family) with the Creative Labs Fatal1ty Gaming Headset. It normally goes for $49.97 but, until the very last minute of November 17, you can use a coupon code to take $25 off that price.

  • Coupon code: DGR47980
  • Expires: 11:59 PM on November 17

It comes in black with some red detailing. The reviews on site are mostly positive with a few complaining about ear soreness when left on for a long time. This happens to me with even the most high-end cans, and the solution is easy:  take a break! We need to rest our ears every now and then—and a couple of hours without taking the headphones off is just too much for our little aural wonders to take.

These headphones come with plush velvet earpads, a detachable noise-cancelling mic, and a generous eight foot cord. Just writing about them makes me want to get my game on!
