$72 Off – Beats by Dr. Dre Pill 2.0 Only $148 @ Visions Electronics *HOT* (EXPIRED)

Posted by on December 24, 2014 at 8:31 PM

$72 Off Beats by Dr. Dre Pill 2.0 Only $148 @ Visions Electronics *HOT* (EXPIRED)

Hurry over to Visions Electronics and score the highly sought after Beats by Dr. Dre Pill 2.0 come in for Boxing Day. Originally $219.99, the Pill 2.0 is on sale for $148 with free shipping at Visions Electronics.

This is one of the big-ticket sale item so many stores but NONE can beat Visions Electronics price. Unfortunately, the black is only available in store and the silver is not included in the sale. However, you do still have three coulours to choose from including the celebrity inspired pink that is sold out on most websites (like Future Shop and Best Buy)

I price compared this unit with other stores. While also on sale at many other stores, Visions was the best as you can see:

  • $169.99 @ Best Buy Canada
  • $169.99 @ Future Shop Canada
  • $179.94 @ Staples Canada
  • $219.99 @ NCIX.com
  • $197.96 @ Microsoft Store Canada
  • $219.95 @ Apple Store Canada
  • $169.99 @ Amazon Canada

This is a small but loud external speaker. They come with all the features you would expect in a speaker including a seven-hour rechargeable battery and a charge out port so you can charge your phone or MP3 player while listening. The Beat Pills also have a cool tap feature where you can tap two Pills together once to get them to play the same song simultaneously. Tap two pills together twice and one will become a left speaker and the other a right speaker. Enjoy instant surround sound.

As one reviewer says:

This is one of those speakers that you’ll actually want to carry with you. It looks good, fits in your pocket and delivers loud sound relative to its size.

All of these cute little Dr. Dre Pills come with free shipping from Visions Electronics. The Visions sale is massive, and I really look forward to seeing what else they have to offer!

Future Shop: Free $10 GC With $100+ Reserve & Pick-Up in Store

Posted by on December 22, 2014 at 1:00 PM

Future Shop: Free $10 GC With $100+ Reserve & Pick Up in Store

Future Shop has a fantastic little promotion on for today and tomorrow. Receive a free $10 gift certificate when you reserve and pick-up your order in store worth over $100.

To receive your gift certificate, your purchase must be online. When you go to checkout, simply choose the reserve for in-store pickup option and choose your closest Future Shop location. My closest Future Shop is about a five-minute drive away, so I actually chose this option with my Sony SRS-X5 speaker. I highly recommend this speaker; I enjoy it almost every day and it is a fantastic mid-priced speaker if you want quality at an affordable price. Originally $199.99, the speaker is currently on sale for $149.99.

Your gift certificate will be emailed to you approximately 10 days after you have picked up your purchase from the store. The certificate has no cash value, and must be used January 9 – 30, 2015 only. There is no minimum purchase required, so you could just purchase a $10 item and get it for free.

One of the other beneficial things about this deal is that the product you want does not have to be available for purchase online. There are two lines with boxes (usually green) under any product. One says “available online” and one says “reservable in-store.” Your item merely needs to be reserveable in-store for this deal to work.

This deal is just really cool as it is from one of the giant companies and it just happens to be one of the big electronics companies. I love electronics and – since our local Best Buy closed down – Future Shop is the place to go.

There are plenty of last minute gifts you may want to pick up this way. Purchase the Nintendo Wii U 32GB Super Mario 3D World Deluxe Set for $299.99 and receive a free $40 gift card AND the free $10 gift certificate when you reserve and then pick up in store.

The gorgeous Dyson Animal Handheld Vacuum (DC34) is on sale for $179.99; you save $50 and get a free $10 gift certificate when you reserve to pick it up in store. Anyone want to buy a Dyson for me?

There is a limit of one gift certificate per person. This promotion is only available for two days. Best Buy Canada – the twin sister of Future Shop – has the same offer on as well.

Future Shop Canada Boxing Day Flyer Is Out Now! (Dec 24-28)

Posted by on December 21, 2014 at 3:30 PM

Future Shop Canada Boxing Day Flyer Is Out Now! (Dec 24 28)

The Future Shop Canada Boxing Day flyer has just been released. This flyer is pretty exciting with 47 pages stacked with deals. Remember, if shopping online at FutureShop.ca you can also receive free shipping on orders over $25. This does not apply to oversized items though.

This Future Shop Boxing Day sale will start on the 24th of December at 8 PM EST at FutureShop.ca but the in store sales will start on the 26th of December at 6 AM. I suggest getting into your closest Future Shop Canada store early on Boxing Day to ensure the item you wish to purchase is not sold out by the time you get there. There are no rain checks.

The iPhone 6 has been a big release this year; I was hoping to see a lot of deals on it during all of these Boxing Day sales. I actually have not been too impressed with the offers I have seen so far. Future Shop is offering the iPhone 6 starting at $29.99 after a $50 trade in or $79.99 without a trade in. Of course, there is a catch – this only applies to select 2-year new activation or renewal plans.

Now I was impressed with some of the TV deals at Future Shop during their Boxing Day sales. The Samsung 50″ 4K Series LED Ultra HD Smart TV is only $899.99 which is $800 off the previous price. I wouldn’t even need to go to the movie theatre anymore if I had a TV like this, it would be an investment, right?

While Future Shop Canada might not be the first place you think of buying a cookware set from, this offer might change your mind. During the Boxing Day sales at Future Shop, you can save up to 75% off a huge selection of cookware sets. The Paderno 13 Piece Avonlea Stainless Steel Cookware Set was $849.99 and will be only $249.99 during the Boxing Day event. This offer will be available online only.

There are other offers available too – save up to $700 on major appliances and save up to $100 on Apple products among many other deals. All of the Future Shop Canada Boxing Day sale items will be limited in quantity and limited to one per household.

Here are just a few of the first pages of the Future Shop Canada Boxing Day flyer. You can view the full flyer here.

Future Shop Canada: Mophie Workbook iPad 2/3rd Gen Leather Case Was $50 | Now $5

Posted by on December 19, 2014 at 10:06 AM

Future Shop Canada: Mophie Workbook iPad 2/3rd Gen Leather Case Was $50 | Now $5

If you’ve got an older generation iPad and would like a new case for it, I’ve got a steal of a deal for you. Get the Mophie Workbook iPad 2/3rd generation leather case from Future Shop for only $4.99, saving you $45! You can get black or white.

I don’t have an iPad, but we do have tablets and I know how important cases can be for them. With three boys running around my house, a tablet is bound to fall at some point or another, if not thrown as a game or during a tantrum. Either way, a case can protect your precious device. While this case is for a 2nd or 3rd generation iPad, I’m sure there are lots of us out there who have those. Maybe the case you have now is getting tattered. Maybe it isn’t as nice as this case. Maybe you could just use a second case for fun and whimsy. Either way, this case is only $5.

Not just a protective case, it also doubles as a stand and it allows you to tilt it at so many different angles. The front cover is magnetic and puts your machine to sleep when you close it and wakes it up when you open it. I wish my kids were that easy.

I searched the net far and wide for price comparisons, but it doesn’t look like too many stores sell this case. Best Buy has it on sale as well, but for $9.99. Otherwise, you can’t really get a case this cheap.

Considering cases sell for around the $30 range and up, this is a hot steal if you need this kind of case. If you don’t need a case, its no loss to you and you can move on down the page and find some other deals Future Shop Canada: Mophie Workbook iPad 2/3rd Gen Leather Case Was $50 | Now $5

You could also think about this for another tablet that isn’t an iPad, but has the same dimensions.

Shipping is free once you spend $25 at Future Shop, so you might want to check out other hot deals to save yourself that cost.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel for PC, Xbox 360 or PS3 Only $39.99 @ Best Buy or Future Shop (EXPIRED)

Posted by on December 17, 2014 at 2:59 PM

Borderlands: The Pre Sequel for PC, Xbox 360 or PS3 Only $39.99 @ Best Buy or Future Shop (EXPIRED)

Christmas Holidays might leave you with a little more spare time than usual, so why not have some fun and try out the Borderlands: The Pre Sequel game for either the PC, Xbox 360 or the PS3. Right now both Best Buy and Future Shop have this particular Borderlands game title on sale, with a regular price of $59.99, for $39.99.

This game can be enjoyed by anyone who has a computer, PlayStation 3 or an Xbox 360. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is set between Borderlands and Borderlands 2. You will witness the villain Handsome Jack transform into a power hungry tyrant. There are four playable characters which include Wilhelm the Enforcer, Nisha the Lawbringer, Claptrap the goofy robot companion and Athene the Gladiator. Do you remember these guys as your bosses in the previous Borderlands games?

I did a little price comparison to ensure that you really were getting the best deal from Best Buy Canada and Future Shop, so have a look:

Borderlands The Pre-Sequel is $59.96 @ Walmart.ca
Borderlands The Pre-Sequel is $54.99 @ Coscto.ca

This first person shooter was released on the 14th of October, 2014 so it is fairly new to be discounted so drastically. The story line seems to focus on Jack, who happens to be your enemy in Borderlands 2. This game does have some new features since Borderlands 2  though, like laser guns and items that possess a cyrogenic element. This effect can slow down and even freeze your enemies.

I’m not generally a first person shooter type of gal, but I do enjoy the Borderlands games I have tried. I have yet to try this pre-sequel but I wouldn’t mind giving it a shot for this price. If you have tried this game, let us know what you think.

Whether you decide to shop at Best Buy or Future Shop Canada, you will also attain free shipping. Shipping is fast too, fast enough to have the game at your door in time to be wrapped up under the Christmas tree. The Best Buy and Future Shop holiday order deadline is in 6 days if you live in Toronto. You can check your area’s shipping deadline on their shipping page.

Free Sennheiser Headphones with Dyson Purchase @ Future Shop ($150 Value) (EXPIRED)

Posted by on December 17, 2014 at 1:30 PM

Free Sennheiser Headphones with Dyson Purchase @ Future Shop ($150 Value) (EXPIRED)

I am stoked about this sweet deal from Future Shop Canada. Receive a free pair of Sennheiser HD Pro Over-Ear Sound Isolating Headphones for free ($149.99 value) when you purchase a Dyson vacuum or air multiplying fan for $349.99 or more.

Dyson and Sennheiser are both higher end brands that I love. I currently own a Dyson vacuum and would love to own a Dyson fan. I have also been drooling over Sennheiser headsets for ages now.

For the free headset, you need to add these Sennheiser HD Pro Over-Ear Sound Isolating Headphones (HD280 PRO) to your cart with the Dyson product and they will be automatically discounted. This headset is an absolute classic for Sennheiser. While it may not be exactly what a casual music listener is looking for, it is designed for studio use with crisp clear sound and incredible differentiation. As one reviewer put it: if your music sounds good on this headset, it will sound good on any headset.

This deal is at its best when you purchase the lowest priced Dyson’s available. I would pick up the Dyson Digital Slim Multi Floor Vacuum (DC35) before the last few go out of stock. If I was to need a new vacuum cleaner, I think I would purchase this one. It is compact, cordless, and has a long arm that really reaches into hard to reach places. The vacuum retails for $349.99, so you will receive the headset for free. This vacuum has such positive reviews including:

Amazingly powerful for its size. Got construction dirt out of our new home’s hardwood floors that a bigger, more cumbersome vac had not picked up. Light, maneuverable and very easy to use. Love it!

My second choice would be the Dyson Animal Stick Vacuum (DC45AN) for $449.99. We have two cats and one of our big boys is a lovely black long-haired feline. That can be rather taxing on a vacuum cleaner. The animal line is designed to deal with pet hair and I know that would be a huge bonus in my household! There is cat hair everywhere – sometimes I feel like plastic wrapping the furniture! It is worse when they decide to join me in bed. They are warm furballs but they sure leave their fur lying around. I would also love the free headset with my new vacuum cleaner. Free Sennheiser Headphones with Dyson Purchase @ Future Shop ($150 Value) (EXPIRED)

This deal is a limited time offer only. You will know if it is still on as you will see this on the product page:

Free Gifts with $50 Toy Purchase @ Future Shop ($10 Value)

Posted by on December 16, 2014 at 3:15 PM

Free Gifts with $50 Toy Purchase @ Future Shop ($10 Value)

Score two free gifts valued at $4.99 each when you spend $50 or more on toys at Future Shop Canada.

I love getting free stuff when I buy items, so having two gifts with a $50 toy purchase is really cool. You will need to add both of these items to your cart so they can be discounted at checkout.

These are your two free gifts:

  1. Mattel Apptivity Angry Birds King Pig - $4.99 value

This single pack includes an iPad conductive base and the Angry Birds King Pig. With it, you can use them with the associated Angry Birds iPad app to launch your piggy across the screen. A fun little toy like this would make a great stocking-stuffer.

  1. Words With Friends Race Board Game – $4.99 value

My husband is a Words with Friends addict, so I understand the appeal of this fun little freebie. No board is needed in this speed version of Words with Friends, just play words as fast as you can with the 100 tiles included. Tiles come in two different colours so it is easy to tell who made what word. Store them in the included tin.

Now that you have seen your free items, let us check out some toy deals.

This Star Wars Mini Lightsaber Dark Side Detector was $19.95, and is now on sale for $9.95. It is a fun toy where you get to build your own mini light saber. If you belong to the light side, your saber will be blue. If you belong to the dark side, then your light saber will turn red.

Looking for an awesome party game based on your favourite geek show? Pick up Cryptozoic Big Bang Theory Board Game for just $9.99, saving you $20! The same game is $35.92 at Walmart so you are scoring quite the deal. Only 10 are left in stock.

For the lovely young women, this Mega Bloks Barbie Build n’ Style Convertible is just $9.99, originally $19.99. Combine it with some of the other deals above and your cart is getting close to that $50 minimum while you are saving a bundle on toys.

For children a bit too young for regular Lego, pick them this LEGO DUPLO Brick Box for just $12.99, originally $17.99. There are 31 pieces including a cat figurine and a dog figurine.

I also think that the Little Tikes Jelly Bean Racer is about the cutest thing ever. It is available in red (see previous link), Green, Orange, or Pink. Originally $22.99, they are now on sale for $15.99. These all cost $19.94 at Walmart Canada right now.

Receive free shipping on orders of $25 or more.

56% Off 2-Pack Oral-B Pro-Health Toothbrush @ Best Buy & Future Shop Canada – Now $13

Posted by on December 15, 2014 at 10:10 PM

56% Off 2 Pack Oral B Pro Health Toothbrush @ Best Buy & Future Shop Canada Now $13

Here’s a great deal on a pair of toothbrushes: you can get a 2-pack of Oral-B Pro-Health precision clean toothbrushes on sale for just $12.99. They were originally priced at $30, which puts them at a $17 discount.

This toothbrush is battery-operated and even has 3 modes to choose from: daily clean, sensitive or whitening. Surprisingly, it also has a timer to make sure that you brush your teeth for long enough. I know I’m guilty of not always brushing for the for two minutes, so this is definitely a major perk for lazy ones like me.

In terms of reviews, there is only one on Best Buy’s site and it’s a 3/5 star one, knocking it down for not being as pictured. According to the reviewer, “it’s just a small round brush“. Somewhat an odd statement because that is exactly what is shown in the picture: a small round tooth brush head! In fact, it’s designed to be that way in order to remove twice as much plaque as a regular tooth brush. Speaking of which, it’s definitely worth upgrading to a battery-operated one if you haven’t already. My hubby and I made the switch a couple of years ago and it feels beyond inefficient to sometimes have to resort to a regular one.

On Future Shop’s site, there are 2 reviews with a total of 4/5 stars. Here’s what one reviewer had to say about it:

Very happy with this purchase! Makes your teeth feel dentist office clean! Worth the money!!

Price comparing, I found this exact toothbrush being sold at Amazon for $45.46 and that’s just for one of these bad boys too! Okay, so it’s sold by the Duty Free Shop, through Amazon’s marketplace but it was still a shocking price to see, especially in comparison with Best Buy’s and Future Shop’s current price. At London Drugs, one of these toothbrushes is priced at $16.99.

Since both Best Buy and Future Shop only ship orders over $25 for free, you would need to add a couple more items to your cart in order to have your order qualify for free shipping. At both sites, you can currently take advantage of a “buy more, save more” promotion, during which you can save the following on personal care items depending on how much you buy: 10% off 3 items, 15% off 5 items or 20% of 8 or more products.

Samsung Wi-Fi 16.2MP Camera $79.99 @ Future Shop (Save $70) (EXPIRED)

Posted by on December 12, 2014 at 3:08 PM

Samsung Wi Fi 16.2MP Camera $79.99 @ Future Shop (Save $70) (EXPIRED)

As part of Future Shop’s 12 days of deals they are featuring a Samsung EC-WB35FZBPBCA Wi-Fi 16.2MP 12x Optical Zoom Digital Camera for just $79.99 with free shipping. You save $70 and score a good camera for a great price.

I expected Best Buy to price match Future Shop as they are sister stores. However, that is just not happening on this deal. Check out the price comparisons below.

  • $99.99 @ Best Buy Canada
  • $149.99 @ Henry’s Canada
  • $157.63 @ Amazon Canada (secondary seller)
  • $95.97 US @ Amazon.com

The price at Future Shop even beats the price of the US giant Amazon.com if we lived in the USA and could get it shipped free from them. This is the best deal for this camera that I have found on the net. The camera features:

  • 16.2-Megapixel CCD Sensor
  • 2.7-Inch Display
  • 12x Zoom
  • Wi-Fi Connectivity
  • 720p HD-quality MPEG video
  • Live Panorama mode

This camera really packs many features into its small body. I love the HD video feature. Though I do not record many videos, there are some times when on vacation that only a video would really capture the moment. I regret not using that feature more on my camera. The large display helps you get a sense of what your picture will look like printed out. I find a large display very important for taking good quality pictures the first time. The 16.2 MP and 12x zoom are going to be amazing and really will show you why having a camera in addition to your phone is worthwhile.

Amazon.com is a great place to look at reviews like this one:

Really like the camera, fits in your pocket and give excellent pictures. Used on trip to San Juan and loved it, I took my larger camera but found I was using the Samsung more because I could send pictures to my phone and text to friends. Really nice purchase.

That is another feature I would die to have on my DSLR – Wi-fi. It drives me insane that I cannot just send images once I take them. Instead, I have to pop out the SD card, load them onto my computer, and then upload them to an email or Facebook. This camera looks awesome.

Best Buy & Future Shop Canada: Baby Bjorn Active Front Carrier Was $180 | Now $80 (EXPIRED)

Posted by on December 11, 2014 at 3:15 PM

Best Buy & Future Shop Canada: Baby Bjorn Active Front Carrier Was $180 | Now $80 (EXPIRED)

Best Buy and Future Shop have an excellent sale on that ends today on the Baby Bjorn active front carrier. You’ll save $100 on this carrier and pay only $79.99 and get free shipping from either store.

If you are a new mom or expecting, you need to know how helpful a baby carrier is. I had a Baby Bjorn and my little ones lived in there for months. It was especially helpful once I had more than one baby and needed my hands, you know, to stop the toddler from drawing on walls, change a diaper, make lunch and all those fun things that moms do. But, this isn’t just limited to mom, dad can wear this any time he (or mom) chooses.

I especially found it happy for grocery shopping when baby did not want to sit in a bumpy cart in his car seat. He loved looking around the store as I shopped and getting ogled at by all the ladies.

You can use it from birth, when baby would go in facing you, and when they get older, you can turn them around.

I shopped around and found the organic active carrier selling for $189 at Snuggle Bugz. At Amazon it is $131.94 from a secondary seller. Sears has the classic (a cheaper model) on for $119. This means Future Shop and Best Buy have the absolute best price on this carrier.

I found a very positive review on Amazon.com:

I registered for and eventually purchased for myself the Active Carrier. I love this carrier. With a bad back, I find the lumbar support VERY helpful. I do have to tighten it up, but is far from cutting off my breathing. My little girl loves riding in it too. She usually falls asleep within minutes of me putting her in it.

The negative reviews were that it did hurt the back, but I have to say, I have a bad back and it didn’t bother me until my babies got to be over 20lbs, and even then, as long as I kept my posture intact, I could wear it for long periods. Lets face it – it felt good to take it off, but it is a much nicer way to carry them than on your hip – that spells nothing but trouble – believe me.

Future Shop: Franklin Air Hockey Table $99.99 (Save $49) (EXPIRED)

Posted by on December 10, 2014 at 11:19 AM

Future Shop: Franklin Air Hockey Table $99.99 (Save $49) (EXPIRED)

Future Shop Canada’s one-day deal today is a Franklin Zero Gravity Air Hockey Table for just $99.99, down from the regular price of $148.99. The table is only on sale today and qualifies for free shipping as it costs over $25.

I price compared this table with other retailers and here is the going price right now:

  • $159.99 @ Shop.ca
  • $149.99 @ Well.ca
  • $148.99 @ Amazon.ca

As is to be expected, Best Buy Canada has the same deal as their sister site Future Shop, so if it sells out here you can always pick it up at Best Buy.

Whenever my father and I used to go to the theatre to watch a movie, we would stop off in the arcade to play a couple rounds of air hockey. My father is very good at air hockey and he would win most the time. I am vicious at it – I make the puck go fast and go flying but it might not go anywhere near the hole. My sense of direction is lacking but it sure is fun.

A table like this would be a riot in your own games room at home. The zero gravity air hockey table features a powerful enough motor to keep the puck flowing smoothly along the high gloss surface. As a cool bonus, there is an LED scoreboard mounted on the side that automatically keeps track of your points. That way there is no arguing over whether you are up to five or six points due to your opponent’s ‘faulty’ memory.

While there are no reviews at Future Shop, there are two on Best Buy with a solid 5/5 star rating right now. Here is what one reviewer said:

I bought this as a gift. The box is almost a meter long and all wrapped up it had a ‘wow’ factor to it. Once out of the box, the assembly was easy – took less than 10 minutes before the kids were playing their first game.

The board comes with two pushers and two pucks. As with all games, there is some level of learning involved. This game is great for increasing hand-eye coordination. Game players can also work on aim and direction as well. I find that games like this also promote the use of angles. Like pool, you make shots off the side, so you start to understand that if you hit the side at a given angle then the puck will project out of the side at a certain angle.

Future Shop Canada: BOG2 Free Select Luggage *HOT* (EXPIRED)

Future Shop Canada: BOG2 Free Select Luggage *HOT* (EXPIRED)

I have to admit, this Future Shop luggage promotion is really cool. Buy one piece of luggage and get two luggage free of equal or lesser value. This offer is available for today only.

I am not sure why it bothers saying that your two ‘free’ pieces of luggage have to be of equal or lesser value than your first piece of luggage. At checkout, the offer will show up as 67% off each piece of luggage so you are essentially paying for the composite price of one luggage. By composite price I mean, if you added the cost of all three luggage up, then divided by the number of luggage – that would be the price you would pay for all three. In many ways, this is a better deal instead of just paying for your most expensive piece.

If you are on a budget, I recommend picking up a few Samboro pieces of luggage. With this offer, you can purchase three for a good price. Pick up the Samboro 23″ 4-Wheeled Spinner Expandable Luggage in three different colours: red, black, or grey. Each piece of luggage costs $121.99 so you will receive all three for just $121.99. That works out to $40.66 per luggage.

Can your budget stretch a little farther? If so, then try mixing and matching around the $200 level. I adore this Benetton Software 21″ Upright 4-Wheeled Spinner Luggage for $200.99 and would combine it with the Swiss Gear Turbo 20″ Hard Side 4-Wheeled Expandable Luggage at $199.99 and the Antler Duolite 26″ 2-Wheeled Luggage at $200.99. After I add all three to my cart, my cart total comes down to $200.66. That works out to around $67 per luggage! Even on sale, the cheapest I could find for an Antler luggage of this size, let alone any of the others, was around $120.

This deal is super-hot and I highly recommend buying as soon as possible. Every piece of luggage I looked out was already very limited in quality with sometimes less than 20 and even less than 10 available. Many are already sold out – especially the cheaper pieces.

You can purchase many popular luggage brands in this sale like Swiss Gear, Samsonite, Kenneth Cole, Delsey, and more. Unfortunately, there are no Heys luggage in this sale or I would be going absolutely bonkers right now. Future Shop Canada: BOG2 Free Select Luggage *HOT* (EXPIRED) Let me know what you manage to get!

Tbaytel ZTE Z222 Flip Phone For FREE ($2 Shipping) @ Future Shop Canada!!! Glitch? (EXPIRED)

Tbaytel ZTE Z222 Flip Phone For FREE ($2 Shipping) @ Future Shop Canada!!! Glitch? (EXPIRED)

Here’s an odd little deal! Future Shop is offering the black Tbaytel ZTE Z222 Flip Phone for only $0.00 right now! The shipping fee is only $1.99, so you’re getting a new (albeit old style) phone for only $2!

The stock status of the Tbaytel ZTE Z222 on the Future Shop page currently says that it is temporarily out of stock online. But, you can actually add to cart and place an order on “backorder.” Here’s a screenshot of my test shopping cart:

Tbaytel ZTE Z222 Flip Phone For FREE ($2 Shipping) @ Future Shop Canada!!! Glitch? (EXPIRED)

Even if this is a glitch on the Future Shop site, there’s no risk involved here – if Future Shop don’t honour the orders and send you a free phone, then you’re not losing any money. But, if you are interested, give it a try and you just might get lucky if they decide to honour the orders.

This is a prepaid cell phone meaning that there’s no contract or anything to worry about. It’s probably locked to Telus, so you may have to pay someone to unlock it, down the line. It could be a good deal as a back-up phone, to have in case your main phone goes kablooey!

Future Shop: $200 Accent Chairs Save 50%

Furniture deals are always precious because furniture is so expensive to begin with. Starting today, Future Shop is offering 50% off select accent chairs, bringing these $400 chairs down to just $199.99 each.

While there are many different colours to choose from, there are only five different styles of chairs. Whichever chair you choose, it will only cost you $199.99, which is 50% off the original price.

The Erica Accent Chair is available in teal, charcoal, natural, or rice paper (red). Erica features a mid-rise back and arms with a double row of metal button accenting. The chair has more of a square shape, with a wooden frame and fabric seat cover. This is one of my favourite styles as it borrows a little old world glamour at a reasonable price.

The Grayson Accent Chair comes in brown, red, or white. Enjoy the 360-degree swivel motion. The polyester cover will be easy to clean and the minimalist profile will not take up much space in your house.

I prefer the Marilyn Accent Chair as it combines some of my favourite characteristics from the Grayson and the Erica. This is also a 360-degree swivel chair, but with a flared back and gorgeous curves. The PU fabric looks like faux leather and should hold up well to kids and pets alike. The chair is available in red, black, or white.

The Durian Polyester Accent Chair is a solid chair with a curved back and seamless arm rests. This chair comes in Aubergine (purple), berry (red), and rice paper (beige). Out of all the chairs, this is the only one available in a purple.

Last but not least, the Daphne Chaise Lounge is a beautiful lounge chair available in brown or white. I have honestly dreamed of having one of these in my house almost all my life, I have just never had the room. Pick up this beauty for just $200 as well.

This is a great sale from Future Shop, and if these sell out, you can find them at Best Buy for the same price as well. The best part of this deal is that these chairs will ship for free (as they cost over $25) if you are in an urban location.

Franklin Zero Gravity Air Hockey Table Was $150 Now $100 @ Best Buy & Future Shop Canada

Franklin Zero Gravity Air Hockey Table Was $150 Now $100 @ Best Buy & Future Shop Canada

Shopping around for a Christmas gift just got a whole lot more interesting! Here’s a unique idea that anyone (kids especially) is sure to like: an air hockey table! The Franklin zero gravity air hockey table is currently $49 off at both Best Buy and Future Shop. Instead of $148.99, you can now get it for just $99.99.

I have to admit that I am beyond tempted to get this deal and it wouldn’t even be for my little one’s enjoyment as she is, well… too little! Not only would this air hockey table make an amazing gift for kids to play with but also for adults! There’s nothing like a couple of rounds of air hockey to loosen the atmosphere, especially if you’re planning on hosting large dinner parties over the holidays.

Air hockey tables are usually white but this one’s surface is black and comes with 2 red pushers and 2 red pucks. Although there aren’t any reviews on Future Shop’s site, two reviewers on Best Buy’s website have rated this air hockey table 5/5 stars. You can read the other review on Best Buy’s site, but here’s what one reviewer had to say about it:

I bought this as a gift. The box is almost a meter long and all wrapped up it had a ‘wow’ factor to it. Once out of the box, the assembly was easy – took less than 10 minutes before the kids were playing their first game.

This brings me to the next advantage of getting this deal right now: free shipping. Even if you have a large enough car to fit this into if you were to get it in-stores, it’s a major benefit, especially for those of you with either small cars or no car at all. Plus, with the ever dropping temperature lately, do you really want to venture out to get this table in-stores? I didn’t think so. It’s also the best air hockey deal available anywhere right now. The cheapest air hockey table available at Sears is the Victory 6 one currently on sale for $499.99. Walmart has the Power Play 40″ table top air hockey but it’s not nearly as big and needs to be played while sitting on the floor. The Franklin zero gravity air hockey table is actually a table (the legs are long enough) and it features the following dimensions: 68.58cm x 81.28cm x 121.92cm.
