Canon imageCLASS All-In-One Laser Printer Was $200 Now $50 @ Futureshop/Bestbuy (Black Friday)! (EXPIRED)

Canon imageCLASS All In One Laser Printer Was $200 Now $50 @ Futureshop/Bestbuy (Black Friday)! (EXPIRED)

Anyone in need of a new printer? Then check out the deal on this MF4770N Canon imageCLASS All-In-One Laser Printer With Fax from either Future Shop or Best Buy, today only for Black Friday. Originally priced at $199.99, it’s dropped to only $49.99 with free shipping!

I first spotted this deal at Staples online but it wasn’t even in stock anyway, but it IS in- stock from the two sister sites above. I don’t know if they will last for long at this price. There are 84 instock at Future Shop as I write this post.

There’s something a little odd which I’ve just noticed on the Future Shop site: DEALS this good sell out so fast we had to switch off Reserve and Pick Up temporarily. So, you can only order this online for home delivery.

How much can you expect to pay for this Canon printer elsewhere? Well, it’s $124 @ Amazon, $200 @ Canon, $100 @ London Drugs, but I cannot see it in stock anywhere else. When we lasted posted about this particular item here, it was $70 at that time… so a further price drop of $20 down to $49.99 is really super.

In checking for product reviews, there are a number of customer comments on Amazon about this particular model. For example:

All the functions are good as the product stated. With the good price and functions, I think it is worth it. I love it.

Most of the reviews seem positive on the whole, with a few negative comments like the skewed sheet feeder. Have a read of them here yourself if you want to know more.

When you pay such a low price for the initial printer, you can probably expect that you’re going to end up paying a lot more when you go to buy consumables such as ink and toners. For example, the black toner cartridge that fits this Canon printer will set you back $89 @ 123Inkcartridges.ca right now. That’s to be expected though! They lure you in with a great price on the printer, then you end up paying quite a bit more when it comes to refilling it.

Future Shop Canada Black Friday Deals Start This Friday!

Future Shop Canada Black Friday Deals Start This Friday!

This Friday, Future Shop‘s store will be filled with loads of hot Black Friday deals and if you’re looking for a Christmas gift, then better mark your calendars to shop as soon as the clock strikes 12:01am on November 28th 2014.

Overall, Future Shop’s Black Friday flyer is 16 pages long but it’s conveniently organized into sections like “gaming and movie”, “TVs”, “Computer & Tablets”, etc. Here’s a small sample of just some of the hottest deals but there are MANY more:

Christmas is right around the corner and a deal that immediately caught my eye is that the PS4 GTA V + The Last Of Us Remastered bundle will be available for just $449.99 but it will only be available on Future Shop’s site on Friday. Currently, a PS4 bundle with just one game at Future Shop is $449.99, so you’re essentially getting a free game with the Black Friday deal. Another deal worth noting is on the PS4 wireless remote. Instead of it’s original price of $64.99, it will be dropping in price to just $39.99.

If you need a new phone, then the iPhone 6 16GB will be down to just $129.99 (reg. $264.99) with a 2 year plan. Don’t believe the bendgate. The iPhone 5s 16GB will be free with a 2-year contract instead of it’s usual $154.99 price. Both of these are sure to sell out like hot cares, however, as they usually do. Just to give you an idea, every time Future Shop discounts the iPhone or any Apple products in a one-day flash sale, these sell out within hours, if not an hour. Apple products are extremely hot commodities, so if that’s what you’re after this Black Friday week-end, I suggest staying up until the deals officially go live. It would even help to try adding the items to your cart before they officially are live to save on time! Future Shop Canada Black Friday Deals Start This Friday!

Excited for Black Friday? Shipping at Future Shop is free on orders over $25.

Future Shop Canada: Logitech Wireless Optical Mouse (M325) | Was $35 Now $15

Hey there, Bargainmoosers! I’m here to bring you all some good news – Future Shop is having a sale on their Logitech Wireless Optical Mouse (M325), and you can now purchase one of these useful computer accessories for only $14.99 (plus $6.99 shipping)! Now this wireless mouse normally retail for $34.99, so you’re getting one nice deal here (that’s $20 off the regular price)! If you spend an extra $10 on Future Shop’s website, you could also qualify for free shipping, or you could even choose to ship it to a Future Shop location near you to save on the shipping cost.

This Logitech Wireless Optical Mouse (M325) would be a fantastic stocking stuffer! It’s affordable, it’s something that everyone could find useful, and it’s pretty thoughtful, as well! You can learn more about this wireless mouse by clicking on the link above.

I remember getting my first wireless mouse about 9 years ago. Back then, the wireless technology didn’t seem to work too well, and the batteries would waste fairly quickly. Nowadays, I thankfully have a newer wireless mouse (it’s 2 years old), and it works great! Also, the battery (mine just requires 1 AAA battery) tends to last for a very long time.

If you were to buy this Logitech Wireless Optical Mouse from 123inkcartridges, it would cost you $34.99. I’ve included a brief review of this wireless mouse from a satisfied Future Shop customer below:

Very easy to install and use. I recommend whole heartily

I hope you all enjoy the rest of your Saturday, my fellow deal hunters!

Future Shop Canada: Captain Toad Treasure Tracker For The Nintendo Wii U (Pre-Order) | Was $45 Now $35 (EXPIRED)

Future Shop Canada: Captain Toad Treasure Tracker For The Nintendo Wii U (Pre Order) | Was $45 Now $35 (EXPIRED)

Good morning, my fellow gamers! Future Shop is having an awesome deal on their pre-orders for Captain Toad Treasure Tracker for the Nintendo Wii U system, and it won’t be around for very long! This Wii U game normally sells for $44.99, but with this Future Shop deal, you can purchase Captain Toad Treasure Tracker for $34.99! That’s $10 off – you can’t go wrong with that! You’ll also qualify for free shipping! This game is set to be released on December the 5th, so in a few weeks you’ll be able to enjoy playing this great fun-filled title! This deal will expire before midnight, so take advantage of this bargain while you can!

I have been waiting for the release of this Nintendo Wii U game since it was first announced early this year. My girlfriend and I were actually able to play a demo of this Captain Toad Treasure Tracker game at a Wii U kiosk that was located at a The Source location near our home, and it’s a lot of fun! It’s bound to be a game full of fun puzzles, cute graphics, and best of all, plenty of Toad, the pint-sized character that’s been seen in Mario games since Super Mario Bros. for the original Nintendo video game system, the NES.

These Captain Toad puzzles first made their appearance on the fantastic Wii U release, Super Mario 3D World. They were little mini games that you could play, and my main squeeze and I just loved them! In Captain Toad Treasure Tracker for the Nintendo Wii U, you’ll be able to enjoy so many more puzzles that are more complex than the ones that were in Super Mario 3D World, and you’ll get some added abilities, as well! If you’re looking for a cute game that both kids and adults could enjoy for your Wii U, then I highly recommend that you pick up this title.

If you pre-order Captain Toad Treasure Tracker for the Nintendo Wii U from Best Buy, it would cost $44.99. This deal expires before midnight, so get this while you still can! Happy gaming, my fellow deal hunters!

Future Shop Canada: Sonax TV Stand With Wine Rack (For TVs Up To 58″) | Was $270 Now $130

Future Shop Canada: Sonax TV Stand With Wine Rack (For TVs Up To 58) | Was $270 Now $130

Good morning, my fellow deal hunters! Today, Future Shop has a one-day deal on their Sonax TV Stand With Wine Rack (For TVs Up To 58″), and you could save big! This intriguing TV stand with an integrated wine rack normally sells for $269.99, but you can now buy this cultured piece of furniture for just $129.99! That’s $140 off the regular price! Best of all, you’ll also qualify for free shipping!

This Sonax TV Stand With Wine Rack (For TVs Up To 58″) is one sweet piece of furniture. If I didn’t just buy a TV stand last year, I would have totally picked up this Sonax product. In fact, my girlfriend and I bought a separate wooden upright wine rack last year for $150, and that was from a flea market! It was brand new (it was from one of the furniture outlets that set up shop in this particular flea market), but it was actually selling for a better price than other wooden wine racks that we found at other furniture stores.

The fact that this Sonax TV Stand With Wine Rack (For TVs Up To 58″) combines a TV stand with a wine rack makes this a great conversation piece, especially when you have company over. It’s great to look at, it’s cool, and best of all, it’s a great way to store your wine!

If you wanted to purchase this Sonax TV Stand With Wine Rack (For TVs Up To 58″) from Best Buy today, it would cost you $269.99, and it’s selling for $397.82 at Lowes! If you need a new TV stand for your flat-screen television, or if you’ve been looking for a convenient wine storage solution, then you need to check out today’s deal at Future Shop.

I hope you all have a great day today!

Sony Bluetooth NFC Headphones Were $100+ Now $50 & Free Shipping @ Future Shop

Posted by on November 16, 2014 at 1:00 PM

Sony Bluetooth NFC Headphones Were $100+ Now $50 & Free Shipping @ Future Shop

If you’re on the lookout for some new headphones, then consider the deal on these white Sony DRBTN200W over-ear NFC / bluetooth headphones from Future Shop Canada. You can pick up these futuristic-looking bad boys for only $49.95 and that comes with free shipping to your home!

These Sony headphones say “Limited Quantity Available” on Future Shop’s site, so I don’t know how long this deal will last. If you like the look of this headphones deal, grab a set while you can. If you know someone who likes their music, these could be a neat Christmas gift.

In doing a price comparison, I think these headphones are a slightly older model, but they are still selling at a number of other online Canadian retailers. For example, they’re $107 @ CDW, $120 @ Newegg.ca, $130 @ PureMobile, $130 @ The Source. Strangely enough, you can pick them up on Amazon for $84 with free shipping, but that is actually fulfilled by the aforementioned PureMobile – it’s cheaper to buy through their Amazon portal than on the PureMobile site itself. I did spot these headphones also for $50 on the Sony Canada website, but they’re not in stock anyway, so not available to buy at that price. Therefore, the deal on these headphones at Future Shop Canada is definitely far better than all the rest!

As for reviews of the Sony DRBTN200W headphones, there are a number of ratings on the Future Shop site, though not very many. The reviews do seem to be a mixed bag with some people really loving these headphones and others finding them not so comfortable. A consensus seems to be that these Sony headphones are really good value for the price. I can’t find many more reviews elsewhere, even on Amazon.com – which is a surprise.

In conclusion, these do seem like a great deal for the money but they probably aren’t going to be as comfortable or durable as headphones which are a few hundred bucks.

(Xbox 360) Call Of Duty: Ghosts Prestige Edition On Final Clearance @ Best Buy & Future Shop Canada – Just $30 (HOT!) (EXPIRED)

Posted by on November 11, 2014 at 12:15 PM

(Xbox 360) Call Of Duty: Ghosts Prestige Edition On Final Clearance @ Best Buy & Future Shop Canada Just $30 (HOT!) (EXPIRED)

Coincidentally with last week’s release of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, both Best Buy and Future Shop now have Call of Duty: Ghosts Prestige Edition on final clearance for just $29.99.

Originally released exactly one year ago, on November 5th 2013, Call of Duty: Ghosts Prestige Edition includes the popular game of course, but most notably, it also comes with a 1080p HD tactical camera. Just the camera alone is the main reason why a $30 final clearance price tag is a steal of a deal. Mountable, the camera is water-resistant, shockproof, has a 170-degree wide-angle lens and 3 attachments. With a 4GB memory card, it allows you to film, edit and share videos.

It also comes with a paracord strap (a bracelet), a collectible SteelBook with exclusive artwork, a copy of the game’s soundtrack and a season pass, which includes all of the following:

  • 4 DLC map packs
  • Team Leader digital content pack
  • Unique MP character with special gear & character background

On Amazon, the prestige edition is currently on sale for $81 (reg. $199.99). Since neither Best Buy’s, nor Future Shop’s websites have any reviews, here’s one I found on Amazon:

A couple notes on the gameplay I have enjoyed to date. The movement is exquisitely fluid, this is so very polished. Having played back and forth between BF4 and Ghosts the last few weeks, COD took mantling and made it better. The knee slide is just icing. There are notable differences in weapon behavior between this and the previous versions. No longer is the SMB the ultimate weapon. And snipers cannot quick scope the way they used to. That doesn’t mean a truly good sniper won’t take you out, but it means that the glitch that made quick scoping bread and butter is gone.

The PS3 versions of COD Ghosts Prestige Edition are already sold out online at both Best Buy and Future Shop but you could try reserving it at your nearest store for same day pick-up.

Since both Best Buy and Future Shop ship orders over $25 for free, you’re also sure to get free shipping on it.

Future Shop Canada: T-Fal Pleasure 9-Piece Cookware Set | Was $200 Now $80 (EXPIRED)

Future Shop Canada: T Fal Pleasure 9 Piece Cookware Set | Was $200 Now $80 (EXPIRED)

Good morning, my fellow Bargainmoosers! Future Shop is currently having a one-day sale on their T-Fal Pleasure 9-Piece Cookware Set – it normally costs $199.99, but you can now purchase this cookware set for $79.99! That’s $120 off of the regular price, so this is a pretty sweet deal. You’ll also qualify for free shipping when you order this T-Fal Pleasure 9-Piece Cookware Set from Future Shop, which is always a nice bonus!

This T-Fal Pleasure 9-Piece Cookware Set comes with a fry pan, 2 sauce pans & lids, a Dutch oven & lid, and a deep saute & lid. Everything is oven safe (up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit), and it even has Expert Pro non-stick coating! T-Fal is a reputable name that’s recognizable by most people, and it always helps when you’re buying cookware that’s been released by a familiar brand.

Now that the holidays are approaching, quality cookware is a very important thing to have. Whether you’re hosting Christmas dinner at your place. or if you know of a family member or friend that can use a nice cookware set from a popular brand, this is a timely deal at Future Shop.

Thankfully, my current cookware set is still in great shape (and I haven’t broke any lids on this current set yet, so that’s a relief). However, I’m still considering this purchase, since my brother could really use a new cookware set. I think this T-Fal Pleasure 9-Piece Cookware Set would be a worthy addition to his kitchen (and an easy Christmas present to buy).

If you wanted to buy this T-Fal Pleasure 9-Piece Cookware Set from Best Buy, it would cost you $199.99. I’ve included a brief review of this cookware set from a satisfied Future Shop customer below:

This is a great set. It has a perfect variety of pots and pans that makes it a complete set. I’ve used T-fal products before, and I’m always impressed by the quality of the product. I definitely recommend this set.

Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

This is a limited time sale and is set to end on Sunday morning at 10am ET.

If you’re in the market for a cookware set, then I spotted the T-Fal Easy Strain 10-pc cookware set on sale for just $99.99. Originally priced as high as $399.99, which puts it at 75% off, it comes with the following 10 pieces: 20cm fry pan, 24cm fry pan, 14cm sauce pan, 18cm sauce pan, 20cm sauce pan and 24cm Dutch oven lids. Made of stainless steel, the T-Fal Easy Strain cookware set features a 3mm gauge body that provides even heat distribution and is oven safe to up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s dishwasher safe and unlike a lot of cookware set, comes with glass lids. On Amazon, this same cookware set is currently going for $169.99.

The T-Fal Actifry 2-in-1 deep fryer is also on sale for $249.99 (reg. $329.99). With 1400 watts, it can cook various combination of foods simultaneously like: friends & vegetables, meat & fish, etc. Plus, it also has 4 programs depending on whether you’re cooking: meat, fish, poultry or desserts. That dessert feature is one that got me particularly excited because ever since trying a deep fried chocolate bar at a fish and chips place near my house, that’s all I have been craving for dessert. It also comes with a recipe book and a special measuring spoon. On Amazon, this same deep fryer is on sale for $270 from a $400 regular price.

With the exclusion of Xbox One and PlayStation 4 games, all used games are also currently 50% off. I must warn you that these are selling like hot cakes, so act fast! For any of you with a Wii U, the new Super Mario Brothers can be yours for just $22.50 instead of $44.99. Keep in mind that the discount will be visible at checkout. If the game you want isn’t available online, then you can also try to reserve it in-stores and pick it up on Sunday.

Shipping is free on orders over $25.

You’ll also qualify for free shipping, which is always a nice bonus! Having a safe car seat for your child is crucial, and especially nowadays when there have been so many recalls for older car seats, it’s very important to purchase a newer car seat from a respected and reputable company, like Future Shop.

This Evenflo Big Kid DLX Jonah Booster Car Seat has plenty of great features. You can easily adjust this car seat to 6 different heights,   It even has integrated activity lights (with two light settings; 2 AA batteries required), which can allow your child colour, read, and relax when it’s getting dark outside. This great booster car seat also has built-in speakers, and 2 elastic cup holders.

I received this car seat as gift for my son and he loves it. When we travel on the road, the built in lights are great as my son loves to read. Also, the speakers are great, too.
