iHop: Free Pancake Day March 1st

Join IHOP on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. for National Pancake Day and receive one complimentary short stack! One short stack per guest.

And yes, the pancakes are totally free. They do suggest this though, as a token of your thanks:

In return for the free flapjacks, we ask you to consider leaving a little something behind for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and other designated local charities.

It is sad! We use to have an iHOP like 15 minutes from where I live, and it closed down about 5 years ago and got replaced by an Alberts. iHop: Free Pancake Day March 1st I hear there are not many in Canada, but if you live near one this is a nice promotion!

Canadian Freebies: Free McDonalds Buttermilk Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich

Get your free breakfast at McDonald’s participating locations till 11 am! On February 9th and 10th you can get a free buttermilk biscuit breakfast sandwich! What is this glorious thing you say? Well.. for the first time in a vast number of years McDonald’s has added to their breakfast menu.

    McDonalds says that:

McDonald’s Buttermilk Biscuits are made with real buttermilk and fresh baked daily, and each warm biscuit comes out light and fluffy, just like homemade.

Not sure about the just like home made part, as my Dad’s are AWESOME, but it sounds promising! This is the first major launch since the McGriddles, which were soooo good! I use to get them with eggs and cheese. Yum yum yum!

This offer excludes some retail locations.

AMC Theatres: Free Popcorn + Pop Printable Coupon

Posted by Avigayil Morris on December 21, 2010 at 12:00 PM

AMC Theatres: Free Popcorn + Pop Printable Coupon

This is a lovely holiday coupon AMC Theatres released on their website. It is for a free medium popcorn and medium fountain drink with the purchase of a ticket. After reading the coupon it also looks like you need to have a MovieWatcher card. We don’t have AMC Theatre in Edmonton so I don’t know much about this promotion.. except free food is always good.

You could perhaps have your free popcorn, pop and watch the new Tron. AMC Theatres: Free Popcorn + Pop Printable Coupon I tried to do a search for theatres as the store locator just uses your postal code, and it seems most the theatres I found were in Ontario, however there was one in Montreal. Anyone know if they are out of those two provinces?

    Expires 31st, December 2010.

I really Like Silver Hills bread. Not quite as good as my hubby’s home made, or Cobs Bread, but very good for bought bread. Usually a loaf costs around $5 so this is a wonderful freebie. Mack’s Flax is my favourite… I love flax breads.

McDonalds: Pay for a Large Fries with Monopoly Money (AB + BC)

Posted by Avigayil Morris on October 5, 2010 at 1:00 PM

McDonalds: Pay for a Large Fries with Monopoly Money (AB + BC)

So you may think I’m insane, and currently I am tottering in that direction so hey, you might be right! But this promotion was sent to us by McDonalds.. so on this I am for sure and for certain! We got an email from a marketing supervisor for McD’s out of BC letting us know that Monopoly days are back at McDonalds and to kick it off you can buy a large fries in BC and AB on October 6 and 7 with monopoly money!

I’ll let her tell you about it.

For two days – October 6th and 7th – people can bring in their Monopoly money and receive a free large order of fries.

They just need to hit up the restaurants in Alberta and British Columbia, as that’s where the promotion is happening.

So your readers might want to take a “withdrawal” from their Monopoly banker and use it to treat themselves to world-famous McDonald’s fries! There’s no catch, it really is that easy to get these freebies. There’s just a limit of one order of large fries per customer, per visit.

    Sounds simple enough.

So go kiss up to your ‘banker’ and fetch yourself some ‘free’ fries!
