Today’s Free Day Friday offer has to be the best one yet. Where else can you get a free cookie or brownie? I was actually craving brownies last night, 7-Eleven must have read my mind.  This offer is only available today, or while supplies last. I usually find that my local 7-Eleven store does not run out of the Free Day Friday offers, but in busier locations you might be left disappointed.

There are other offers available right now on the 7-Eleven app. These offers include:

  • Buy 1 Large Hot Beverage, Get 1 Free

Want a Free Coffee Crisp Latte Chocolate Bar? Download the 7 Eleven Mobile App Today!

Do you know what today is? Today is Free Day Friday! Download the 7-Eleven mobile app and enjoy your free offer of the day. I was disappointed that 7-Eleven Canada did not have a freebie offer last Friday, but maybe this one will make up for it. Until the 18th of January you can receive 1 free Coffee Crisp Latte 42g chocolate bar per day at your local 7-Eleven Canada store.

You can download this 7-Eleven mobile app from the App Store or Google Play on both Apple and Android devices. The app will only take a short time to download, and trust me it is worth it. 7-Eleven Canada is consistently offering BOGO and freebie offers through their app. You will need to sign up using your email address to receive the hottest new offers.

For the next couple days you can use the 7-Eleven app to redeem a free Coffee Crisp Latte chocolate bar. 7-Eleven seems to know that us Canadians love chocolate and coffee. That is usually what their freebies consist of, and this one happens to be combined. This chocolate bar would normally cost you $1, but free is always great. Coffee Crisp happens to be my favourite brand of chocolate bar, and I have yet to try this flavour. Have any of you Moosers tried the Coffee Crisp Latte chocolate bar yet? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

There are other offers available right now on the 7-Eleven app. These offers include:

  • Buy one get one free 1/4 lb Big Bite
  • Buy one get one free Large Hot Beverage
  • Buy one get one free Cheese Burger
  • Buy one Doritos bag and get a free Meatball Kabob
  • Buy any six Hot Beverages and receive a free medium Hot Beverage

While these offers may vary depending on your 7-Eleven location, it is pretty simple to see what offers are available near you. Once you have downloaded the 7-Eleven mobile app, click the offer you desire and a list of local participating stores will pop up. You can even click the location you want and the app will give you directions on how to get there. It also seems to give you more offers when you claim more offers.

Enjoy your free Coffee Crisp Latte chocolate bar, I know I will!

Free Root Beer When You Sign Up for E-Newsletter @ A&W Canada

Posted by on January 12, 2015 at 11:40 AM

Free Root Beer When You Sign Up for E Newsletter @ A&W Canada

When I think of A&W Restaurants, I automatically think about their famous Root Beer. This week, A&W Canada wants you to sign up for their e-newsletter. In exchange for signing up, you will receive a coupon for a free Root Beer.

Once you get your free Regular Root Beer coupon in your email inbox, you can redeem it at your local A&W restaurant, no purchase required. Be careful not to click “redeem” until you are in an A&W restaurant. You will only have on hour to present the offer on your phone to an A&W cashier after you click “redeem”.

To enjoy this freebie to the fullest, I would enjoy it in the restaurant. They will serve your free root beer in an ice cold A&W mug, and that just makes the world of difference. Too bad this isn’t a free root beer float, those are truly delicious as well. A&W root beer is known to be frothy with a full-bodied taste. A&W’s root beer has been famous since 1919 when Roy Allen set up a little roadside drink stand to aid the thirst of the spectators when the World War I veterans were returning. His delicious concoction was an instant success. Back then he was selling this delicious drink for a nickel per glass, but free is even better than that.

Although this offer cannot be combined with any other promotional offers or coupons, there are other A&W Canada printable coupons available right now as well. You will be limited to one coupon per customer per visit, so choose wisely (or bring a friend).

The other A&W Restaurant coupons are:

  • Free Spicy Chipotle Chubby Chicken Wrap with your purchase of any regular priced combo
  • Enjoy a Bacon N Egger or Sausage N Egger sandwich at the regular price and get the second sandwich for free
  • Enjoy a Mama, Papa or Grandpa Burger at the regular price and you can add bacon and cheese for free
  • Upgrade to sweet potato fries for free with the purchase of fries or a combo at regular price

Get a Free Pineapple Edible Pop @ Edible Arrangements Canada

Posted by on January 11, 2015 at 10:49 AM

Get a Free Pineapple Edible Pop @ Edible Arrangements Canada

One of my New Years Resolutions was to eat more fruit, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this freebie offer from Edible Arrangements Canada. As part of your “Fruit Resolution”, you can sign up for email notifications at EdibleArrangements.com and receive a voucher for a free Pineapple Edible Pop.

Sign up for your free Pineapple Edible Pop voucher now, before supplies run out. If supplies do not run out, this offer will be valid until the 17th of January 2015. Your freebie voucher will be valid for use until the 1st of February 2015 so you have a good amount of time to head into your local Edible Arrangements store to redeem the offer.

The last time I ordered something from Edible Arrangements was about a year ago when my friend had her baby. Of course I sat in the hospital with her and enjoyed some of the delicious treats. We ordered the Delicious Daisy arrangement for around $35. This arrangement had the Pineapple Edible Pop in the mix. This treat was a flower shaped pineapple piece with a round piece of cantaloupe as the center of the flower. It was delicious.

I ordered one of these free vouchers myself. There is an Edible Arrangements store not too far from me. I can’t promise that I won’t get suckered into buying other things when I go in, although this freebie does not require any purchase. I see what you did there Edible Arrangements, I see what you did! How can you head into a store full of delicious fruit and chocolate covered fruit and not buy anything? Challenge accepted.

Of course, I can tell  you a little bit about what they do offer in stores.. so you can prepare yourself for the challenge. The Chocolate Dipped Strawberries Box is a delicious favourite for just $29. This treat is great for any occasion and can easily be shared between multiple people. I am a bit frugal minded though, I would simply head into the grocery store myself and make this for a whole lot cheaper. Considering there are only 12 strawberries in this pack, you could probably buy chocolate dip and strawberries for under $10 in total at your local grocery store.

Enjoy your free treat from Edible Arrangements Get a Free Pineapple Edible Pop @ Edible Arrangements Canada

Canadian Freebie: TWO Coupons for Pepperidge Farm Sweet Crisps (150g)

Posted by on January 8, 2015 at 8:30 PM

Canadian Freebie: TWO Coupons for Pepperidge Farm Sweet Crisps (150g)

Hurry on over to Save.ca AND Walmart Canada as we have a double header of coupons for you. Both companies have a coupon for a free bag of Pepperidge Farm Sweet Crisps (150g) that you can get mailed to you. The bag of crisps has a retail value of $3.17 at Walmart and up to 3.99 at other retailers, so this is a pretty ‘sweet’ freebie. as you receive two free bags of crisps!

You will need to sign into your cart for Save.ca and then follow the link above. Coupon quantities will be limited (as per usual) so request your free coupon for free crisps as soon as possible. For Walmart, the coupon should be in the second row down, the middle coupon. It needs to be mailed to you so it is for in store redemption.

My husband seemingly loves these crisps. We have a bag of the creamy caramel in the house right now. He just finished a bag that tasted just like cinnamon buns with really thick cream sauce – they were positively glorious. If you have a sweet tooth and enjoy crunchy things then you will love the Pepperidge Farm Sweet Crisps.

Now, I am the major sweet lover in my household but I find these crisps a bit overpowering. Yes! The flavour is so intense I can only eat a few at a time. Even if you were to over-indulge in them, they are fairly healthy as chips go. 20 crisps are only 90 calories. Now, I thought I would be all over these chips but truthfully, I never really eat them. The taste is great but I cannot get over the texture of a chip with the taste of a pastry. I long for that doughy and gooey goodness so the crisp texture just puts me off. For most people, I doubt this will be a problem.

Personally, I want to try the chocolate flavoured crisps. They will be closer to the texture of chocolate and if they taste anything like the other ones then they should be marvellous. Does anyone else wanting to try some chocolate chips?

Free Slurpee Today Only @ 7-Eleven Canada (EXPIRED)

Posted by on December 25, 2014 at 12:52 PM

Free Slurpee Today Only @ 7 Eleven Canada (EXPIRED)

Seriously, I think I am addicted to the 7-Eleven Slurpees. If I did not have little ones at home playing with their new toys, I would be heading out to get my hands on a free Slurpee for the Holidays. You can get a free Slurpee today from your closest 7-Eleven Canada store and it is super simple.

To start, you will need to download the 7-Eleven App for your smartphone or tablet here. Once you have this app downloaded, you will be able to “redeem” the offer for a free Slurpee. Once you click “redeem” you will only have 15 minutes to physically enjoy the offer, so make sure you are at your 7-Eleven Canada store before activating. This free Slurpee offer will be available today only, for Christmas.

I find that the flavours can vary by location, but there are usually quite a few to choose from. The Slurpee flavours can include:

  • Crush Manitoba Mosquito Bite, Crush Sour Cherry, Crush Golden Fruit Smash, Crush Strawberry Limeade, Crush Strawberry Limeade, Crush Cherries n’ Cream, Crush Classic Bubblegum, Crush Blue Raspberry
  • Coca Cola, Pepsi, 7-Up, Root Beer
  • Crush Lite Grape, Cream Soda, Orange
  • Mountain Drew Super Nova, White Out, Red Code Cherry Alert
  • Brisk Raspberry Iced Tea, Strawberry Melon, Lemonade
  • New Mountain Dew Voltage
  • …and more too!

The “Lite” types of Slurpee flavours have 30% less calories, with the same great taste. I find I usually do not get just one straight flavour though. If I were to choose, I would start with the rich and delicious Coca Cola. Then I would add some Crush Blue Raspberry to make things a little interesting. I would add Crush Cherries N’ Cream to the top, just to keep things delicious. What is your favourite kind of Slurpee mix?

Canadian Freebie: 3 Free Tea Bags @ Twinings Canada (EXPIRED)

Posted by on December 18, 2014 at 1:27 PM

Canadian Freebie: 3 Free Tea Bags @ Twinings Canada (EXPIRED)

Hop on over to Twinings Canada to request three free sample bags of tea!

I just love this freebie because it is free tea! I drink a pot of tea almost every day so this freebie gives me three days of wonderful tea to try. I do not having much experience with the Twinings brand, so this is a welcome addition to my tea collection. One of my favourite things about this deal is the choices: you get to choose which bags you will receive. Many samples are random selection so this is very nice.

Did I mention choice? Oh yes, you get to choose from 30 different teas from four different categories:

  • Black Teas
  • Chais
  • Herbal Infusions
  • Green Teas

I am a huge fan of chai tea so my first choice would probably be the Chai French Vanilla, thought the Chai Spiced Apple sounds so delicious as well. I might just have to get both of those and then only choose one other tea bag from the other categories. I really like chai tea in the winter because it is such a warm and flavourful tea full of spices. It is great for cold winter days and nights.

Here are some of the other amazing flavours that peak my interest:

  • Lady Grey
  • Pure peppermint
  • Goodnight Blend
  • Green Earl Grey

I usually hate green tea but I recently learned some secrets for brewing the leaf. First, you let the water sit after boiling for about five minutes. If you pour boiling water directly on green tea leaves, you are liable to burn the leaf, which produces a bitter taste in your tea. In addition, you want to be careful not to let the tea over steep. I usually leave my tea in the water until I am finished my tea, but green tea you should only leave in for 3 – 5 minutes (or however long the box says) and then take it out of the water.

I am so pleased with this freebie and I hope you are as well. Leave a comment below to let me know which three bags you chose! Samples will arrive in four to six weeks.

Canadian Freebie: Free Coffee on September 29th @ 7-Eleven

Posted by on September 28, 2014 at 7:30 PM

Canadian Freebie: Free Coffee on September 29th @ 7 Eleven

We have seen a few coffee deals lately – and some of them were even free. Not to be out done by all those posh morning coffee joints where you might get your breakfast too, 7-Eleven is offering free coffee on Monday. Who doesn’t need a caffeine kick on Mondays anyway?

You will receive a free medium size drip coffee, any flavour, with the 7-Eleven App. It is the usual ‘redeem your free coupon’ thing via the 7-11 app like the slurpee freebies are. You can get your free coffee between 7 A.M. and 11:00 A.M local time. This offer is in celebration of National Coffee Day.

While I hate coffee, flavoured coffee is a different matter. Some of that stuff is actually pretty good if it has enough sugar in it and it tastes like vanilla or something else sweet.

With this promo, 7-Eleven is also introducing a new coffee program where every seventh cup of coffee you buy is free. Here is how it works:

  • Text BREW to 711711 to download the app (unless you already have it)
  • Register
  • Scan every time you purchase ANY size coffee.
  • Click the $ icon at the top of the screen to see all available offers.
  • Every seventh coffee is FREE! (medium)

Technically, you can buy six small coffees and your seventh coffee will still be a free medium. If you are a coffee addict, then this is going to be a very nice feature moving forward. This promotion is on for a limited time and excludes iced coffees. Some locations may not offer it, so check with the location you frequent.

I hope a bunch of our Moosers enjoy their free coffee. If you pick up any exotic flavours, then drop us a line in the comments below telling us what flavour you tried. I wonder if they have any autumn flavours like pumpkin or such.

Free 7-Select Drink on Friday @ 7-Eleven Canada With App

Posted by on August 28, 2014 at 6:00 PM

Free 7 Select Drink on Friday @ 7 Eleven Canada With App

Tomorrow, pop into your local 7-Eleven to pick up a free 7-Select Drink (591 ml) when you use the 7-Eleven app on your phone.

For this deal, you will need your smart phone and the 7-Eleven app. You will also need to sign up for an account to view and use the coupons. When you arrive in store, you click on the offer for the free 7-Select Drink (it will also show you what percentage of digital coupons for the drink are still available). You will then have 15 minutes for the checkout till to scan the coupon on your phone.

7-Select is 7-Eleven’s own brand of drinks. I am not sure how much they retail for on a regular basis – but free is certainly a nice price to pay for anything, even a bottle of pop. Expect the usual array of flavours, with cola being the most popular. If you have never tried 7-Select, they evidently have a ton of food under the brand. Just Googling ‘7-Select products’ brings up pictures of everything from cream cheese jalapenos in a crispy breading to homemade vanilla ice cream.

I do not know whether this free drink offer will include juices or things like lemonade/ice tea. I hope that the fine print on the coupon itself, when it comes live tomorrow, will clear that up for prospective users. In app, you can easily find your local 7-Eleven store by using the map system. You can also view other deals currently offered in store through the phone application.

This offer is while quantities last. Check the app before heading to your local store to make sure there are still free bottles of pop available.

Free Jolly Ranchers on Friday with 7-Eleven App

Posted by on August 21, 2014 at 5:00 PM

Free Jolly Ranchers on Friday with 7 Eleven App

Pop into your local 7-Eleven store this Friday for a box of free Jolly Ranchers Chews with your 7-Eleven phone app.

For this deal, all you need is a smart phone (either android or iPhone) and the app. You will also need to sign up for an account to view and use the coupons. When you arrive in store, you click on the offer for the free Jolly Ranchers Chews. You will then have 15 minutes for checkout. The till needs to scan your coupon within that set amount of time.

Freebies are always great, and if you are stopping by a 7-Eleven anyways then you should certainly pick these up. I would not make a separate trip for them, as they are only worth a couple dollars at most. However, if your local 7-Eleven is convenient, why not? My local 7-Eleven corner store is all of one block away, thus I really have no excuse not to pick up these freebies.

I remember eating these, or something quite like these, when I was a kid. Fruit chews were my favourite unless I bit into a banana flavoured one. Yuk. While they are not exactly healthy, they are a nice treat. From the advertisement we received, it looks like you will receive a 58g box of tropical flavoured chews. The flavours in this box are:

  • Pineapple
  • Strawberry – Kiwi
  • Lemon – Lime
  • Tropical Punch

I looked up reviews for the chews and found a few on Amazon. This person rather expresses my views on fruit chews:

these delicious morsels are so good they are addictive. every time I have one, I end up have at least 2-3 more. they are irresistible! I also highly recommend the original flavors which are also quite good.

They are so dangerously addictive… try having just one!

The 7-Eleven app is a good app to have around all year around. They often do free chocolate bars, free Slurpees, and other coupons that give you discounts on everything from food to SIM cards. It is one of the best store apps out there because of the number of freebies they give to Canadians all year around.

This offer is while quantities last. Check the app before heading to your local store to make sure there are still free chews available.

Boston Pizza Coupon: Printable Free Kids Meal in Ontario & Alberta!

Posted by on August 12, 2014 at 9:00 AM

Boston Pizza Coupon: Printable Free Kids Meal in Ontario & Alberta!

If you like to dine out as a family every once in a while and want to save some extra money, you will want to check out the new Boston Pizza printable coupon.  Get a free kids meal at all Alberta and Ontario locations from now until the end of October 2014.

I am excited for this printable coupons for a few different reasons.  The first reason being that I live in Alberta so I can actually use it.  The second is that I have kids and we visit Boston Pizza about once a month for a dinner out so this coupon will not go to waste for me.  The third is that it will help save on my budget since their meals are big enough for my two boys to split.  We will end up just paying for my husband’s meal and my meal, which is a great deal!

Now it does not have a lot of information on this coupon other than you will get a free kids meal between now and October 30th and that is can only be used in locations in the provinces of Alberta and Ontario.  It doesn’t say you can only print off one, it doesn’t say you need to even order anything with it to get the free kids meal and it doesn’t say you can only use one coupon per person. You may get lucky and be able to use more than one if you have more than one child.  I will assume it will be left up to the Boston Pizza you attend but make sure to point that out if you are trying to use two of these coupons for one meal.

If you have yet to go to Boston Pizza with your kids, The meals are fairly big.  I have two boys ages 3 years old and 4 years old and they always split a meal.  They usually get a mini pizza and french fries and then share the dessert treats as well, and it seems to be more than enough for them. A couple of other favourites for them is the pasta kids meal and the grilled cheese kids meal as well.

What is your kid’s favourite kids meal at Boston Pizza?

Marble Slab Canada Freebie: BOGO Ice Cream Cones – July 20th Only

Posted by on July 19, 2014 at 10:00 PM

Marble Slab Canada Freebie: BOGO Ice Cream Cones July 20th Only

What do you have planned tomorrow? Whatever it is, you better make sure to swing by a Marble Slab store as well because they’re hosting a BOGO event on all cones! Stop by any Marble Slab between 11am and 2pm on Sunday, July 20th 2014, to take advantage of a “buy one, get one free” deal on all ice cream cones.

Although it’s a BOGO deal, this promotion only extends to the regular size for the free cone. This means that you need to get either a regular or larger sized ice cream cone in order to get a second one of regular size for free.

Marble Slab’s promotion is actually in celebration of both Ice Cream Day and Ice Cream Month. As it turns out, President Reagan proclaimed the month of July to be national ice cream month with the third Sunday being national ice cream day and since Marble Slab was founded in Houston, Texas, this promotion makes total sense.

Although there are no Marble Slab stores where I live, I’m still super excited about Marble Slab’s offer for all of you who can enjoy it, especially since it features unlimited mix-ins. I’m a huge fan of Dairy Queen and have been getting a chocolate extreme blizzard a little too frequently this summer but the charge for extra ingredients is definitely a big turn-off.

At Marble Slab though, you can choose among 20 different mixins to add to your ice cream cone like bananas, brownie bits, Butterfinger, chocolate chips, cookie dough, Oreo cookies, sparkles, etc. Heck, you can even add strawberries!

Be sure to also snap a picture of your cone and hashtag it #MSCHappyHour to be entered to win 1 of 2 $10 gift cards. It may not be the best contest prize ever but it’s still better than nothing, especially since it’s a super easy one to fulfill!

Did you know that Bargainmoose’s forum is frequently updated with all of Marble Slab’s latest printable coupons? Be sure to sign up to get all of their coupons delivered straight to your inbox as soon as they are released. In fact, Marble Slab frequently makes coupons available for discounts on ice cream cones, ice cream cakes, smoothies and many others.

Moosers, what is your favourite flavour of ice cream at Marble Slab? And which mixins do you choose?

Mandarin Canada: Free Buffet On Canada Day

Posted by on June 30, 2014 at 9:30 AM

Mandarin Canada: Free Buffet On Canada Day

Tomorrow, head on in to any Mandarin location and get yourself a free buffet dinner to celebrate Canada’s birthday!

To get your free meal, you must be a citizen of Canada and be able to provide proof with your birth certificate, passport or citizenship card. If your immediate family member works there, you are also out of luck, as these people are not eligible. You are going to have to wait in line to get in, as there are no reservations and from what I’ve seen in previous years, the line gets long. Everyone who is in your party must wait in the line, so this includes your rangy kids and your elderly grandmother. I’d suggest bringing fold-up chairs and electronic devices for the wait.

You can’t go in and fill up a take-out box either, you have to sit and eat there, which is totally cool, as you’ll get full-service including all non-alcoholic drinks free. Tips are not included so since you are getting this free and you know your server will be driven mad that day, leave them a nice big tip to thank them for working on such a nice day on our Canadian holiday.

I actually do like Mandarin although I have never taken my kids there except when one was in my belly at nine months pregnant and I absolutely had to have Chinese buffet. My kids love buffets with all their choices and this is a family-friendly restaurant.

Bargainmoosers, let me know in the comments below if you are going to brave the line-ups to get some free meals. Have you ever been to their Canada Day free buffet before and do you have any tips for others?
