Best Buy Canada: Fitbit Zip Activity Tracker Was $70 | Now $40 & Free Shipping

Best Buy Canada: Fitbit Zip Activity Tracker Was $70 | Now $40 & Free Shipping

Pounce quickly on this Fitbit Zip Wireless Activity Tracker deal at Best Buy Canada as stock is dwindling! Originally $69.99, the Fitbit Zip is on sale for $39.99 with free shipping.

While tying this post, three of these units sold in the charcoal. Thus, I know this deal is quite popular. I made sure to price compare with other online retailers, just to make sure. The Fitbit Zip retails for:

  • $69.99 @ Sport Chek
  • $69.95 @ Staples Canada
  • $69.95 @ Walmart Canada
  • $69.99 @ Bed, Bath, & Beyond
  • $69.95 @ Chapters Indigo Canada

There is one other place where the Fitbit Zip is discounted to this price: at Amazon Canada. Yet the Fitbit Zip is quite discounted at these two stores compared to all other retailers. I figured this was a worthwhile deal to blog even though the sale price is at two different retailers. If Best Buy sells out of the colour you want, then head over to Amazon Canada to also purchase this unit for $39.99.

There are four colours to choose from at Best Buy Canada:

The charcoal (black) unit has the lowest stock, with fewer than 20 remaining. The other three colours do not mention stock levels, thus I assume they are not low in stock yet. Usually, Best Buy Canada gives exact numbers for totals under 30 units.

The Fitbit Zip is a mini version of the normal Fitbit you know of. This unit tracks your steps, distance, and calories burned. It will wirelessly upload this data to your computer, smart phone, or tablet. Unlike the other Fitbit devices that you wear around your wrist, this Fitbit Zip fits in your pocket, clips onto your pants or belt, and even can clip onto your bra band. One reviewer said:

Great product. Makes you aware of how much/how little you are walking. Syncs with Fitbit online so you have a daily, weekly and monthly record. I have stepped up my own activity and am making some progress in my fitness journey.

If you are looking to be more active and need an extra incentive, then this is the device you want to buy. However, this will not monitor your sleep if you need that added feature. Overall, this is a good deal on a wearable tech device designed to get you moving and living a healthier lifestyle.

Chapters Indigo: Fitbit Flex Was $120 | Now $79.96 with Visa Checkout

Posted by on May 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM

Chapters Indigo: Fitbit Flex Was $120 | Now $79.96 with Visa Checkout

Chapters Indigo has dropped the price of their Fitbit Flex from $119.95 down to $99.95. Use Visa Checkout for an extra 20% off your order (one use per account). After the Visa Checkout discount, your Fitbit Flex will cost only $79.96 with free shipping.

It is actually hard to get this device for around $80 anymore (last time was Black Friday) because the Fitbit Flex did a price jump. The original retail price was $99.99 but this year the device jumped to a retail price of $119.95 with sale prices only dropping it back to its original price. I price compared the Fitbit Flex on other retailer’s websites.

  • $99.95 @ Staples Canada
  • $99.99 @ Best Buy Canada
  • $119 @ Microsoft Canada
  • $119.95 @ Walmart Canada
  • $99.95 @ Amazon Canada

Half the places match Chapter’s original sale price, but none can beat Chapters Indigo’s price once you add on the Visa Checkout discount. The Visa Checkout discount has a limit of one discount per customer. I already bought three books with mine (as I mentioned in this post) so I cannot use it again. Oops!

Chapters Indigo: Fitbit Flex Was $120 | Now $79.96 with Visa Checkout

It actually surprises me that the Visa Checkout offer does not exclude electronics – usually Chapters’ coupons do. I was quite delighted to discover this and hope you are as well.

I suggest checkout out reviews before purchasing any product. One reviewer on Chapters said:

I bought one of these in January and it’s made it so much easier to keep track of my fitness goals. It’s fun to see everything charted in the app. It’s comfortable too, like wearing a watch. I recommend it to anyone, tech savvy or not.

Another reviewer was distressed that water ruined his or her Fitbit. Well, you really should know what you are getting and not just assume a device has properties that it does now. The Fitbit Flex is not waterproof. In addition, it does not have a heart rate monitor. I do not understand why people would rate a product badly for things the product does not have – you knew that when you bought it. The Fitbit Flex does monitor steps, distance, calories burned, and active minutes. It also monitors how long and how well you sleep. The device has its limitations; you may want to familiarize yourself with them before purchasing.

You automatically receive free shipping on orders of $25 or more.

Chapters Indigo Canada: Buy a Fitbit Flex & Get The Body Reset Diet Free

Chapters Indigo Canada: Buy a Fitbit Flex & Get The Body Reset Diet Free

This week at Chapters Indigo if you buy a Fitbit Flex, you’ll get Harley Pasternak’s The Body Reset Diet: Power Your Metabolism, Blast Fat & Shed Pounds in Just 15 Days free!

Sometimes when you see gift with purchase deals, they sound like a great deal, but either the regular price is inflated or sells for more than other stores. It is sort of just a lure because people love to get free stuff. In the case of this deal, there is no lure, this is a great deal.

First of all, the Fitbit Flex sells for $99.95 at Chapters Indigo. This is what it sells for everywhere else. I didn’t see it on sale at one store. Second, the book at regular price is $24, but on sale for $17.33. No matter what the price of the book, you are getting it free while paying the price for the Fitbit that you’d pay anywhere. If you were considering a Fitbit, now might be the time.

I’ve really heard great things about this book and I actually really want to get it. I just feel like my body needs a reset. I am not one for fad diets, but they say that doing something over and over again makes it a habit so I could see resetting my body and staying on a maintenance type plan being a lifestyle for me once I’ve forced myself to do it for the 15 days.

As for the Fitbit, I’d love one of these too. With my birthday coming up, this would make a fabulous gift for me (hint, hint). I have just started working out again and trying to eat clean every single day. I also walk my kids to and from school each day, which is actually quite a trek when you are doing it four times over (1.25 km each way), and I’d love to see what the results of how much I actually do in a day will amount to. Never mind being a mom of three who really never stops!

It has some great reviews and this one looks very honest:

I am really enjoying my fitbit flex. I had seen it other reviews it was difficult to set up, so I was somewhat nervous about that part.  As completely un-techy as I am I found the set up quite simple.  You just have to remember to recharge every ~ 5 days or the count will be off.  Had I heard about it before, I probably would have bought the fitbit force instead: it counts stairs climbed as well.  Overall, great product and it syncs easily with many other fitness apps.  May give you that extra push you need to stay active.

Chapters Indigo offers free shipping when you spend over $25, which you are undoubtedly doing here, so you’ll get that little perk with this offer.

Chapters Indigo Canada: Free Accessories Kit With Fitbit Flex Purchase ($30 Value)

Posted by on May 11, 2014 at 12:00 PM

Chapters Indigo Canada: Free Accessories Kit With Fitbit Flex Purchase ($30 Value)

Purchase the FitBit Flex at Chapters Indigo and receive a free accessories kit valued at $29.95.

The first time I was going to write this deal up, the accessory kits had already gone out of stock. Thankfully, Chapters Indigo Canada has restocked the kits so you can get one free with your purchase.

The FitBit costs $99.95 and is a great way to track your physical activity and set goals. The Fitbit tracks steps, distance, calories burned, and monitors your sleep, waking you with a silent alarm. You can buy the device in black, slate, or lime.

Now, say you buy a slate coloured FitBit and are all like “slate rocks, yo!” and indeed, slate does rock. Sort of a blue-ish grey. But then, one day you are wearing a totally rad outfit (+1 for old slang) and you realize your slate Fitbit is just not cutting the mustard. That is where the free accessories kit comes in. It will give you teal, tangerine, and navy bands for your Fitbit Flex to switch up your colour palette. Choose small or large to fit your wrist.

Get free shipping on orders of $25 or more.

FutureShop: Lime Green Fitbit Flex for $80 (Save $20) – Expired

FutureShop: Lime Green Fitbit Flex for $80 (Save $20) Expired

Get fit, sleep better and quantify your self with a FitBit Flex from FutureShop!

Groan. Grrooooaaannnn!! I hate the term quantified self and I’m not overly excited about the concept either but there are a pant load, a variable cornucopia, of people who are all up ons the quantified self.

So what is the quantified self, anyway? Basically it’s the concept of knowing everything about your body. How much you weigh, your blood pressure, how many steps you take, how well you sleep and everything else. We’ve been able to get this stuff from doctors for a long time but it’s just recently that sensors have become cheap, good and small enough to get a lot of this info from our phones or wrist bands. Combine it with software for context and you can be fully aware of your health.

Again, I’m not in to this kind of thing yet, but I know a lot of your people have made new years resolutions revolving around your health. The Fitbit Flex is a great way to reach those health goals and, more importantly, keeping yourself accountable.

Shipping is free and, as mentioned earlier, it is only on sale in the lime green. I don’t know why but if colour really matters, maybe you could show this to someone at a physical store and score a different colour. Now, speaking of getting fit, I’m going to go put the head unit back on my treadmill.
