Firmoo Clearance Prescription Glasses: Only $7.20 Including Shipping (US)

Posted by on August 2, 2014 at 1:00 PM

Firmoo Clearance Prescription Glasses: Only $7.20 Including Shipping (US), the US based eyewear store which we’ve mentioned here on Bargainmoose in the past, have got a number of glasses on special offer in the clearance section. Prices start at only $9, and I am highlighting this sale with these funky #CP6156 glasses (great name, eh?). They’re a pair of women’s full frame acetate eyeglasses, and they’re priced at only $9… but read on to get an even better deal.

There are a number of other frames in there, including male frames too. But, you can make those clearance prices even sweeter – use Firmoo coupon code WELCOME for a 20% discount & free shipping on your first order. This brings down the price of our CP6156s to only $7.20!

Canadian Shipping

When you are spending this amount and you go through checkout, Canadian shipping comes up at a rate of $12.95. But when you add in the coupon code above, that $12.95 is changed to a big fat ZERO. So that’s a complete pair of prescription glasses for only $7.20 with free shipping! Even though these are being shipped from the US, you shouldn’t have any issues with Canadian customs and duties because of the low price you are paying.

Extras etc

The price I’ve shown above is the very basic price for the frames, with absolutely no frills. But you can choose upgrades as you are going through the Firmoo checkout, such as bi-focal lenses, progressive lenses, thinner lenses, tints, etc. All of those options would incur an extra cost on the base price of your glasses. Keep that in mind when ordering!

A Spare Pair

Last week, my Mom came to visit but couldn’t watch TV as she has misplaced her so-called “TV Glasses.” Obviously, these are glasses for short-sightedness, which help her watch the TV. I’ve been meaning to get her to give me the prescription details so that I can order her a really basic pair such as these ones from Firmoo. She could have them as a spare pair for lost-glasses emergencies… or even if her main pair were damaged or broken. The same applies to my partner… when we returned from our recent vacation in Europe, his regular eyeglasses had mysteriously disappeared on the journey, and he was left wearing only his prescription sunnies. Luckily he had an old pair at home which he was able to use in the meantime. There’s going to be a Firmoo order in our house this week!

September 4 4 Year Anniversary – 40% off + Free Shipping on Prescription Glasses with Coupon Code

Firmoo has been around for four years and in celebration of that, you’re getting 40% off Glasses with this coupon code.

  • Coupon Code: 4YEARS
  • Discount: 40% off
  • Expiry: 8th September 2013

I don’t understand why people still buy prescription glasses (and sunglasses) from the optometrist or some bricks-and-mortar store. What I really don’t understand is that I talk to people who order everything online and stay away from the mall as much as possible but they still, for some reason, refuse to buy their glasses online. It’s just so much easier and cheaper to get them online.

I mean, yes, if there is a mom and pop glasses shop where they hand grind lenses and custom make frames out of the best imported wire stock from Italy, sure, go ahead and support them. I guess that’s a good reason. Otherwise save your money.

If you don’t have a special attachment to the elderly couple running the local glassesotorium, you have got to check out the huge selection of glasses from $10 plastic things to more expensive flexible metal frames and basically every kind of frame you could want. They even have sunglasses and a bunch of different options for lenses.

If you’ve never done it before, do it now while you’re getting 40% off. If you have done it, why are you still reading? Go. Buy. Save!

Firmoo: Summer Sale – Up To 80% Off Glasses

Posted by on July 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM

Firmoo: Summer Sale Up To 80% Off Glasses

Get a full pair of glasses or prescription sunglasses for up to 80% off at Firmoo.

I’ve gone on and on and on about Firmoo in the past, so I’m not going to this time. I’m just going to leave it at this: Firmoo is awesome. Super-fantastic, even. Amazing prices for good, fashionable glasses. You can get anything from super cheap plastic glasses right up to memory metal, and pretty much any style you could ever want. Want some glasses for your 97-year old polish grandmother? They’ve got something for her. Does your hipster husband need some new glasses to keep the wind out of his eyes while he drives his fixie? Or, maybe you need some sunglasses. Firmoo has it all.

Right now you can get a ton of their glasses for up to 80% off. Some of them are as low as $7. On the high end they are only $39. That’s amazing when you consider that traditional retailers can charge hundreds of dollars just for frames. No lenses.

Speaking of lenses, you can get all kinds of upgrades on your lenses. Thinner, anti-reflect, bi-focals, anti-radiation, tinted, progressive and on and on and on.

I will warn you, though, that shipping on these things is fairly slow since they’re coming straight out of a factory in China. Cost depends on where you are and how many you get, but it is generally around $10 for me.

First things first, this is a purely awesome sale. No limits, free shipping, good discount. You can’t get much better than that. Anyone who reads my stuff knows that I hate when a company limits their sales in some way, like having a sale on one brand air conditioner instead of just putting all air conditioners on sale. I know there are reasons, but it sucks. Firmoo doesn’t tend to do that and it’s awesome.

There are still people who don’t trust sites like Firmoo. I actually have a friend who won’t buy Firmoo glasses because they are made in China and he is afraid the plastic will give him cancer or something. Of course, the keyboard he is typing on is made in China. The sheets he sleeps on are made in China. And, yes, I would dare say the $400 glasses he bought at the bricks-and-mortar store in town are made in China.

There are great looking frames with lenses just like you’d get at a store. You can get super cheap $8 acetate frames, or you can get more expensive metal frames. I even had a pair of memory metal glasses. They were a bit more, but they were still cheaper than what you’d buy at a store.

The only thing this doesn’t work on is the already discounted items. Keep checking the Bargainmoose coupon forum for more deals!

Firmoo: 50% Off All Frames With Coupon Code

It’s almost Mother’s Day, and Firmoo is celebrating by giving 50% off all frames with this coupon code!

Click here to shop for glasses @

  • Coupon Code: LOVEMOM
  • Discount: 50% off all frames
  • Expiry: 12th May 2013

I’ve mentioned this before, but glasses were a hard thing in my family, specifically for my Mom. We didn’t have a lot of money growing up, and glasses weren’t cheap. It was hundreds of dollars for glasses, but she always managed to get them for me when I needed them. I think it’s so cool that nowadays, single moms and low income families don’t have to worry about glasses, they can just pick up a pair of $10 frames with lenses at a place like Firmoo. With this coupon, you can get any frames with lenses for 50% off.

Shipping varies depending on where you are, but for me it’s about $12. If you’re in Canada, it should be around that. I can’t imagine it being much more. I will warn you that shipping is very slow since it’s your standard “direct from a factory in China” kind of deal.

You could even email a picture of yourself wearing them to your future self!  All you have to do is pay for shipping.

Firmoo (US): 30% Off Sunglasses When You Buy Prescription Glasses + BONUS DEAL!

Glasses help you see, right? Well how well are you going to see with the sun in your eyes? How well are you going to see when, while blinded by the sun, you careen off an overpass and land in a tree whose branches horribly mangle your face? Not very well. Getting sunglasses from could, no, WILL, save you from a horrible face mangling tree and they’ll do it for 30% off.

Ok, maybe it won’t save you from a horrible face-mangling crash but it could! But it probably won’t… Regardless, this is a good deal. I’m getting a new pair of glasses soon (because I stepped on mine….) and maybe, just maybe I’ll get  a pair of sunglasses too.

They definitely have some great styles too. They have everything from those giant bug eye sunglasses that all the young people are wearing these days (get off mah lawn y’dang kids!) to some more conservative frames for old men like me.

If your order is over $55, you get free shipping to Canada!

  • Coupon Code: FREESHIP
  • Discount: FREE shipping to Canada on orders of $55 of more
  • Expiry: Unknown

November 17 Select Glasses Discounted to $9.99 – Save $7 to $20

Posted by on November 17, 2012 at 3:00 AM Select Glasses Discounted to $9.99 Save $7 to $20

I can see clearly now the price has dropped! All because of Johnny Nash and Firmoo!

Ok, maybe Johnny Nash hasn’t helped me see any clearer but it’s a good song, isn’t it? Firmoo is the opposite of Johnny Nash. They can’t sing even a little bit but they have helped me see clearer. Well, they did until my son broke my glasses. Anywho, that’s a story for later. Right now they have 32 pairs of glasses discounted to $9.99. Like I said in the title, the original prices range from $30 to $17.50 so your savings will vary depending on what you get.

I know a fair number of people out there don’t trust companies like Firmoo. I understand completely. We’re used to paying hundreds of dollars for glasses, so getting them for $10 seems like an insane concept. It must be a scam, right?

Nope! It’s not. I’ve ordered a pair from Firmoo and the were great. My son broke them ($400 glasses would have broken too, it wasn’t a quality issue) so I didn’t have them for too long but while I did, they were great. I’m actually ordering two more pairs tonight. I even emailed them to see if there was a warranty on the glasses. There was no warranty against customer damage but they did give me a coupon code, which was very nice of them.

At this price you can buy glasses as accessories. Many of the glasses in this sale have cool colour combinations so you can pick glasses out that will go with just about any outfit or be appropriate for any situation.

November 12 20% off + Free Shipping for Repeat Customers & Something For New Customers Too!

Posted by on November 12, 2012 at 5:00 AM 20% off + Free Shipping for Repeat Customers & Something For New Customers Too!

I count myself among the poorly sighted in Canada and is an absolute God-send. Of course they are an American company but we’re still allowed to like them, right?

Let me tell you why I like and then I’ll tell you about the deals. This is the portion of the show where I act like your Dad did when you asked him for money. A 15 minute speech about how money doesn’t grow on trees before he hands of the $20 you need to go to the movies. So have a seat and listen to me talk about how glasses don’t grown on trees. Wait.. What?

If you don’t care, skip the next two paragraphs.

Nevermind. Ok so I have two reasons to love The first is that in the past few months I’ve broken two pairs of glasses. I was at my Dads and was sleeping on the couch. I took my glasses off and put them on the floor next to the couch. When I woke up the next morning they were in two pieces a few feet from the couch. I have no idea how what happened to them but they were broken so I moved on. Recently I got a free pair of glasses from (that’s foreshadowing) but, alas, less then a week after I got them, they broke. I was wresting on the bed with my toddler and had taken my glasses of and put them off to the side. Perhaps inevitably, he reached for them and, succumbing to a tickle attack from me, fell on them, breaking the lens. Mind you the frame didn’t break, but rather the lens. So, needless to say, I break a lot of glasses and cheap glasses from is super awesome.

The second reason I love is a bit more serious. My mom struggled a lot with money growing up. She always put a roof over my head and gave me awesome stuff but it was a struggle. Part of that struggle was that I needed glasses. Now at that age I didn’t need them, there was a crooked optometrist who was sending everyone away with glasses but that is neither here nor there. At that time the only way to get glasses was to pay the hundreds of dollars that the stores charge. It was a terrible burden on my mom and I really resent it when companies take advantage of people due to a perceived level of expertise. If can make glasses in a factory in china and sell them to me for $8 and still make a profit then there is no reason we should pay the insane prices at the stores. I understand having to charge a little bit more for designer brands or different materials, lenses, coatings, etc… but sometimes they are just trying to rip us off. I thank for not making me pay out hundreds of dollars the I could put to better use elsewhere.

Enough of that! On to the deals! Deal the first is a coupon code to get 20% off + FREE shipping for any order of a return customer.

  • Code: XMAS2012
  • Discount: 20% off + FREE Shipping
  • Expiry: 24th December 2012

Offer the second is one that my boss already featured but is still valid. It’s a free pair of glasses for new customers. You just pay shipping and for any extras like special lenses or coatings. The beauty about this is that once you get your free pair, you are officially a returning customer and can get your 20% off. With the 20% off + FREE shipping, depending on teh pair you get, you could end up paying less that your free pair cost!

Just an added note: I emailed Firmoo to see if there was a warranty or something (there was not) but they were really good and gave me a discout on my next pair!

Free Glasses from Firmoo (US), Just Pay Shipping

Posted by on October 22, 2012 at 10:00 AM

Free Glasses from Firmoo (US), Just Pay Shipping

Firmoo is a US based optical store, that ships worldwide. And they’ve just re-launched their free eyewear promo, in which you can claim a free pair of prescription glasses, and pay only the shipping fee!

Now, just note that this offer does not apply to designer glasses, just their regular stock. When you are browsing the glasses, you will see a “get now” link towards the top left of the page – click this, and they will issue with a one-time use coupon code to use on your free glasses. You must use the coupon code within 2 hours, so be ready to order there and then. If you want to pay extra for customisation like different types of lenses, or added extras, you can do so… but the basic pair of glasses will be free.

I tested the deal out on a $20 pair of prescription frames, and it discounted them to zero. The shipping cost was $12.95 to Canada, which is really quite reasonable. You can even pay by paypal, if that’s handier for you.

I read that Firmoo only give out a certain number of free pairs per day – so if you cannot see the “get now” link on certain frames, maybe check in daily to make sure you get your freebie from Firmoo.
