The BBC Natural History Collection On Blu-ray Was $153 | Now $40 & Free Shipping @ Amazon Canada

The BBC Natural History Collection On Blu ray Was $153 | Now $40 & Free Shipping @ Amazon Canada

If you love nature, traveling and seeing the world, you need to check out the BBC Natural History Collection available on blu-ray. This set was $153 but is now only $40 and qualifies for free super saver shipping without any additional purchases. You will save 74%!

Amazon has managed to beat the deal Avigayil blogged about this past November at Best Buy by $15! If you missed it before, you can pick up the amazing BBC Natural History Collection on blu-ray today at a spectacular price. This set includes four stunning documentaries including:

  • Planet Earth
  • Wild China
  • Galapagos
  • Ganges

I have personally seen Planet Earth and Wild China. I loved both of these documentaries. I find one of the best parts is that the shows focus not only on the great animals, plants and diversity of the areas but also on people. Sometimes when you are watching a show like this, it is easy to distance yourself from exotic places that seem far away. By adding the human impact element, BBC has created beautiful documentaries that truly make you consider yourself within the bigger diverse web on earth. The two I have watched were thought provoking and beautiful, and I would watch them repeatedly.

Here is what you will find if you try to buy this series somewhere else.

That Amazon price is looking awesome compared with what else is on the market.

Over on Amazon, reviewers love this series. I see several people mentioning that they are blown away by this series. One person went as far as to note that it was worth buying a home theatre just to watch this beautiful documentary. Fourteen people have rated this collection and it carries a strong five out of five star rating.

If you dig these documentaries, the BBC Natural History Collection 2 is also on sale. This second set was $153.00 but is now on sale for $61.99. Though the discount is not quite as steep, a 59% discount is not too shabby either.

I like to tuck away items like this for just the right celebration. I might keep this series for my husband as a present for Father’s Day. This would also make a lovely Mother’s Day gift or a nice evening in for you and your sweetie. Whatever you choose to do, you need to see this fantastic collection.

Schick Men’s Shaving Gift Pack Was $65 | Now $25 & Free Shipping @ Wagjag

Posted by on April 16, 2015 at 9:00 AM

Schick Men’s Shaving Gift Pack Was $65 | Now $25 & Free Shipping @ Wagjag

Get a nice clean, close shave today with the Schick Men’s Shaving Gift pack. This set retails for $65, but is now only $25. This deal also includes free shipping for this order.

My husband has sensitive skin and has tried almost every trick in the book to get a nice clean shave on this face. What he has found is both the shaving cream lather and the sharpness of the blade make all the difference for his face. This kit from Wagjag gives you both of those components and is a little bit of old school meets modern. You will receive a slick Schick Hydro 5 razor and a refill razor pack that gives you a total of five cartridges. Also included in this set is the Wilkinson Sword shaving soap and shaving brush. This combo will give you a richer, creamier lather than if you just squeezed some soap out of the can. For more details about why shaving brushes are amazing for a close shave, check out this article from Waremakers. Lastly, you will receive a three piece grooming set, which is a bonus little add on with nail clippers, trimmers and a nail file.

I took to the web to compare this kit. Well.ca has many of these items in this set individually. Here are the prices I found on the items in this kit.

That totals $49.56 for these items at Well.ca and does not include the cost of the 3 piece grooming set which they do not carry. Wagjag also factors in the price of shipping in the price comparison, which is free for orders over $25 at Well Canada.

At Walmart Canada here is the breakdown if you were to purchase the items in this kit.

Wagjag includes the cost of shipping in their price, which for this set at Walmart Canada is $4.95. If you could get all these items at Walmart Canada, the price would be closer to this gift set at $38.27. Unfortunately, the razor refills are out of stock and you would need to buy a bigger razor pack to have a comparable set. This price comparison also does not include the 3 piece grooming set, which Walmart also does not carry.

If you are unsure whether to grab this deal, consider the reviews on these razors. The Schick Hydro 5 razor has 730 reviews on Walmart Canada and still stands at four and a half stars. Here is one review:

Schick Men’s Shaving Gift Pack Was $65 | Now $25 & Free Shipping @ Wagjag

I would grab this deal now while it is still available. I can see on Wagjag that many people have already purchased this deal. You may want to get your kit before they go out of stock. This would be a nice little gift to stash away for Father’s Day, which is coming up in a few short months.

Breaking Bad: The Complete Series Was $161 | Now $70 & Free Shipping @ Amazon Canada

Posted by on April 6, 2015 at 8:49 AM

Breaking Bad: The Complete Series Was $161 | Now $70 & Free Shipping @ Amazon Canada

If you are a fan of Breaking Bad, need to get your fix and Better Call Saul just isn’t getting you that high, you could get this hot deal from Amazon today. Get the complete series of Breaking Bad today for only $69.99, with a regular price of $160.99. Because the set is over $25, it will also ship for free.

This is the DVD set and has about 3000 minutes of terrifying goodness. If you were sick or had to stay up for over two straight days, you could watch this entire set in those 50 hours.

If you haven’t seen Breaking Bad, you really are missing out on one of television’s greatest series. The show has its emotional moments and also its gruesome. There were times I had to look away and many times I could not look away. The adventures of Walter White and his gang make for some amazing TV!

Just to show you that this is the best price around, check it out at Walmart, where it sells for $107.97, although it does have a bonus bottle opener. I don’t think I’d pay $37 for a bottle opener. I didn’t see this set anywhere else on DVD, but know that the blu-ray set is about 2.5 times the price of this set at Amazon.

If you are more of a collector, Amazon also has a sweet deal at 63% off today on the Breaking Bad: The Complete Series Limited Edition 2014 Barrel. It regularly sells for $299.99 and is now on sale for $109.99. It has been on sale before, but not for this low of a price. Walmart sells it for $210.97. Otherwise, I didn’t see this set elsewhere either.

I’d love to pick up this set just to watch the two-hour documentary that is included.

You can take a read of the reviews yourself, but as you’ll see, the general consensus is that everyone loves Breaking Bad and loves the collector’s set as well.

This might make a fantastic Father’s Day gift!

Lowe’s Canada: Up To 55% off BBQ Accessories

Lowes Canada: Up To 55% off BBQ Accessories

Although I find it sad that I think -2 makes for a gorgeous day, I can’t ask for a lot more in March in Ontario. Well, I could, I just probably wouldn’t get it! I had a friend on my Facebook get so excited about the rising temperatures we are experiencing this week, that he’s cleared off his deck and having a deck party this weekend. I personally would not go that far, but it got me thinking about all the BBQs that are going to get dusted off in the next little while, including mine. It also got me wondering where my BBQ fork is! I don’t have to worry about it too much, as Lowe’s has some great BBQ accessories on clearance, with up to 55% off. There are some hot deals to be had to get you prepped for deck season.

The first deal I’m going to alert you to is the Char-Broil 4-piece commercial series tool set. It includes spatula, basting brush, tongs, fork and a storage bag. Regularly $49.99, this set is now down to $29.99. The tongs lock and the basting head is removable for easy cleaning. These are made from commercial grade stainless steel and heat resistant plastic. This means that you know they will last and get through summer after summer of use.

I couldn’t find competitor prices for any of these accessories, but having a look around, I see that good quality BBQ tools are not cheap. I think this tool set would make the perfect inexpensive Father’s Day gift.

If you wanted a less expensive tool set, you could get the Master Forge 4-piece stainless steel grilling set. It comes with a spatula, tongs, basting brush and a headlamp. I’m sort of at a loss as to what you’d use the headlamp for, except I guess for night grilling. This set was $19.99 and is now $12.99.

I’ve heard that the best way to BBQ is to have a nice, clean grill and for that you need a Char-Broil nylon grill brush. This one also has a scraper blade. Regularly $14.99, it is now $9.99.

If you like to do fish on the grill, a Master Forge non-stick grilling basket could be your best friend. Regularly $10.99, it is now on sale for only $4.99, making it 55% off.

You’ll get free shipping at a $49 spend, so you’ll want to stock your cart with a few accessories to avoid those fees.

Dell Canada: Panasonic Eneloop Charger & 12 Batteries Only $30 *BUMP!* (EXPIRED)

Dell Canada: Panasonic Eneloop Charger & 12 Batteries Only $30 *BUMP!* (EXPIRED)

Dell Canada is having a huge 72-hour sale on right now and one of the best deals I found was on the Panasonic Eneloop charger kit with eight AA batteries and four AAA batteries. It is now selling for $29.99, with a regular price of $46.99, saving you a whopping $20 on this item.

Rechargeable batteries are notoriously expensive, mainly because they last so much longer than regular batteries. They are definitely a good investment, it is just the investing part that hurts at first. So, when deals like this come along with a charger and all these batteries, you really do need to jump at the opportunity.

I’ve read a bit about Eneloop and how the batteries last for a long time. People absolutely love Eneloop batteries! If you want to know why they are so good, read this article from the Wire Cutter, which explains why they are the best. As for price comparisons, I looked around and found a pack of four AAs at Amazon for $19.78 on sale (this price has increased from the time when I wrote this original post last year too!). You are only paying $5 more for eight extra batteries and a charger.

I’m sure we all have many devices for which we need rechargeable batteries, like television converters, kid’s LeapPads, digital cameras and so much more.

As another perk, you’ll get free shipping with any order from Dell.

Cabelas Canada: Hatley Aprons Were $25 | Now $15 (+ Shipping)

Cabelas Canada: Hatley Aprons Were $25 | Now $15 (+ Shipping)

If you are looking for a great gift idea for a birthday, wedding shower or for your favourite home cook, look no further than this deal from Cabelas. Get some cute and funny Hatley aprons now with a regular price of $25, now for $14.99.

These aprons would also make great Father’s Day gifts, which I know is a few months away, but why not shop ahead and get Dad something he’ll appreciate? I know most men love the BBQ, but BBQ sauce and men just don’t mix. They inevitably will get their favourite top stained, so why not cover up those dress clothes with an apron, especially one as funny as this.

Mother’s Day is also coming soon and as a mom of three boys, wearing an apron in the kitchen is a must-have. In fact, I should wear one all the time as by the end of the day I’m usually covered in some type of unidentified spots and stains.

There are three styles available, as the fourth is sold out already.

My favourite, of course, is the Making a Moose in the Kitchen. I would totally love it if my boys gave me this apron for mother’s day as its true, I do love to cook.

My hubby would love the Bear Naked Chef apron, as he likes to tell inappropriate jokes all of the time and the bear kind of looks like him.

The last is a beaver who is a Dam Great Cook and I know the kid’s grandpa would love this one, although I’ll make the disclaimer now that the beaver looks nothing like him.

I shopped around for these aprons and found them for the full price on Hatley’s site.

If you want to get these shipped to your house, your order under $25 will have a $8.95 fee on top. That still beats the price at Hatley (which would also have shipping charges tacked on). If you have one near you, you could also pick up at store for free at your leisure. Alternatively, use coupon code 99SHIPFREE for free shipping when spending $99 or more.

Naked Shop Canada: 25% Off Men’s Underwear + Free Shipping

Posted by on June 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM

Naked Shop Canada: 25% Off Mens Underwear + Free Shipping

For Father’s Day, enjoy 25% off all men’s underwear at Naked Canada. You also will receive free shipping on any size of order.

Let us talk Naked. They are a company we have never posted about before so I hope our lovely Moosers take a few minutes to check them out. They not only make amazing men’s underwear that is unquestionably comfortable, all their underwear is also made in Canada with performance European fabrics using Eco-friendly manufacturing processes. I think I can still count on one hand the number of companies I know who manufacture their clothing in Canada so I am always a huge fan whenever I run across a new one.

These underwear have been featured in Esquire and in Men’sHealth Magazine. They are also one of the very rare companies traded on the stock exchange: the Venture for anyone interested – which, if memory serves, is out of Vancouver. I have never heard of a lingerie company being publicly traded before: I was floored. My husband was practically giddy that our interests had finally collided.

I have also ready wonderful things about their underwear. Reviews from lingerie bloggers’ husbands seem to be very positive and their delicates have never been happier. This Microfiber trunk is the perfect everyday underwear. They feature an invisible waistband and seamless, flat-lock stitching for the ultimate comfort. Originally $32, they come down to just $24 in your cart. While they have the standard black, white, and blue colour offerings, I also like the bright red options, which I would totally be buying my husband.

There are several styles and different fabric options available. The above is a microfiber trunk, whereas this cute little brief (totally my favourite style) is made of tencel. The Tencel Brief is so yummy: it has a form-optimizing shape, which shows off what he is packing. The fabric is not only wrinkle resistant and shrink resistant; it also absorbs moisture to help keep him comfortable and dry. This brief retails for $34 but after the discount comes down to just $25.50.

You can also buy fantastic undershirts for men during this offer as well.

Now, there is a ‘women’s section’ but it has not been released yet. You can subscribe to be first to know about when they release this fantastic brand for women as well. I will most certainly be buying a pair for myself when that happens.

Happy Father’s Day!

Last Minute Father’s Day Gift Ideas

Posted by on June 13, 2014 at 4:00 PM

Last Minute Fathers Day Gift Ideas

Even though Father’s Day is on Sunday, you do still have time to shop online for Dad. We’ve got a number of great ideas for you, so take a look.

My first and favourite idea as a gift for anyone is always WaySpa gift vouchers. Everyone can use some pampering every now and then, especially a parent, and if you were a teenager like I was, your Dad deserves it! Take a look at our exclusive coupon code that will get you 22% off any voucher, starting from $25, so you can choose what you spend. Dad can choose from a massage, a pedicure and a bunch of other treatments he would be sure to love.

My Dad or my husband would love a magazine subscription, which for me, would be the gift that keeps on giving. There are a number of men’s magazines on sale right now at Zinio with up to 50% off, including Maxim, Men’s Fitness, Automobile and more.

If you live in the Toronto area, how much would Dad love this WagJag for an exotic car experience from Toronto Motorsports? A $249 value for only $109, you know he deserves it!

Chapters Indigo now offers electronic gift cards, so give Dad the gift of reading and let him choose what book he’d love to read, rather than you hoping for the best and failing. Don’t let Dad down, c’mon!

Sending Dad on a vacation wouldn’t be all that extravagant (don’t forget that night you dented the bumper on his prize car), and if he always wanted to go to Dublin like my Dad, he can go from as low as $759 from Travel Zoo.

Take Dad out for a nice meal at East Side Mario’s and save $10 off your $30 purchase this weekend with this printable coupon.

So, Bargainmoosers, what are you going to get Dad this Father’s Day? Remember what your sister surprised him with last year? You’ll want to top that one for sure!

Joe Fresh Canada Coupon Code: Free Shipping

Posted by on June 13, 2014 at 3:30 PM

Joe Fresh Canada Coupon Code: Free Shipping

If you love Joe Fresh as much as I do, you’ll love that they have a promo code out for completely free shipping with no minimum spend!

Click here to shop @ Joefresh.com now

  • Coupon Code: HOORAY
  • Discount: free shipping
  • Expiry: 30th June 2014

I usually shop Joe Fresh in-store, but now I have no reason to bother, since I won’t have to pay shipping on anything I buy. I am not the type to try to reach a spending threshold for free shipping, so it’s nice to get what I want and go without paying more or spending more.

I have bought clothes for myself, my husband and my kids, as well as gifts for the little girls in my life. I find it pretty cool that you can get dresses for little girls for only $8, and even for $5 for toddler girls. That’s very inexpensive! This print sundress in teal is too cute, and was $8, now $5. There are two other prints for this style, and for this price, you might as well get all three. You’ll only spend $15 and still get them shipped to you for free.

I like the style of dresses from Joe Fresh. This abstract line print dress in black is definitely different and I like how it really freaks out my eyes! It was $39, now $19.94, pretty great for a dress for less than $20.

With Father’s Day fast approaching, a gift might still be on your radar. While these men’s plaid canvas shoes are not on sale and are priced at $24, I really love them for my husband, so I still might get them considering I’m getting the free shipping anyway.

If you want to find out about more free shipping with no minimum deals and stores, have a look at our free shipping page. If you want more Joe Fresh coupons (and there have been a few in there lately), check out the forum.

Well.ca Overstock Sale: 75% Off Uncle Lee’s Organic Whole Leaf Tea Bamboo Gift Box (+ Many More Items On Sale!)

Posted by on June 13, 2014 at 3:00 PM

Well.ca Overstock Sale: 75% Off Uncle Lees Organic Whole Leaf Tea Bamboo Gift Box (+ Many More Items On Sale!)

Father’s Day is this weekend but as the saying goes: better late than never!  If you have yet to find a worthy gift, then maybe Uncle Lee’s organic whole leaf tea bamboo gift box may put a smile on your Dad’s face, albeit a little late. Even better is that Well.ca is currently offering it for 75% off at just $7.50 (reg. $29.99) as part of their Overstock Sale.

It comes with a total of 40 tea bags from the following varieties: Chinese white tea, Dragon Well green tea, green tea, Jasmine green tea, Japanese Sencha, Oolong and Oolong with ginseng. It also has remarkably positive reviews such as:

I LOVE this tea! You can tell its high quality as the leaves are full leaves and not tiny pieces like others teas. The flavor is nice and strong as well. I will be buying it again for sure.

Price comparing this gift box, I found that Staples has it at its full price of $29.99. Although your gift will undoubtedly arrive after Father’s Day, it might be a good idea to give him a card in the meantime with the promise of this arriving shortly.

Since shipping is only free on orders over $25, I also suggest you have a look at the other items that have received a discount with the Overstock Sale. There is a good share of them, but always make sure to price compare with other major stores like Walmart and Amazon. If you’re in the market for a stroller, then I also spotted the Quinny Buzz stroller for just $349.97 (reg. $499.96). Amazon.ca has this popular stroller at $450 and Toys R Us has a red version of it at its full price of $499.99.

In light of today being Friday the 13th, Well.ca is also offering an additional 13% off site wide, but only when you enter this coupon code at checkout: FRIDAY13TH. Keep in mind that this code expires at the end of the day, but the Overstock sale will last the entire weekend. If you happen to miss this code and it’s your first time shopping at their site, then you can also use our Bargainmoose exclusive Well.ca coupon code to get $10 off orders over $40 instead.

Marks Canada Father’s Day Sale: 20 – 50% Off

Posted by on June 13, 2014 at 2:30 PM

Marks Canada Fathers Day Sale: 20 50% Off

Get 20% to 50% off at Mark’s Canada for their Father’s Day sale.

When you think of Mark’s, you might just fill that in with Work Warehouse and automatically think of Dad. Well, they are no longer the work warehouse, but they still sell great work-related clothing for men and women, along with other stylish clothing and accessories for regular days. You’ll get a minimum of 20% off during this sale, but I always go for the jugular and check out the items that are 50% off and see what the best deals are that I can get. Everything is on sale, which is killer, because they don’t have sales like this too often. I have to be honest though, I really couldn’t find the items that were more than 20% off. There is so much on the site, so I’m probably missing it, but let me know if you can find it! I wish websites would advertise sales by how much you are saving rather than categories.

It isn’t too late to shop for Dad for Father’s Day, simply get it shipped to his home rather than yours and tell him his gift is on the way. Also, you could shop in-store, but I always say, what fun is that? Dress shirts are always nice and these are all 20% off. Underwear and socks are also a welcome gift, as men just don’t seem to shop for these necessities, instead letting everything get ratty and full of holes before someone else gets it for them. Underwear and socks are also 20% off.

If you work outside, you might need some hi-visibility gear and it looks like that can be pretty expensive. Getting 20% off cuts your cost by quite a bit, like with this hi-vis HD3 T-max lined 3-in-1 coat, with a regular price of $229.99 and is now $183.49. That’s a savings of $45!

Don’t fret when you don’t see the discounted price, it shows up at the checkout stage. You’ll pay $6.50 for shipping, no matter what you spend, so spend as little or as much as you’d like.

Puma Canada Promo Code: $25 Off $75

Posted by on June 12, 2014 at 4:00 PM

Puma Canada Promo Code: $25 Off $75

Puma is having a Father’s Day sale, and you can get $25 off of your $75 purchase with promo code. Top that amount up to $99 and you’ll also get free shipping. Under $99, you’ll pay $12.50, so spending that additional little bit is a no brainer.

Click here to shop @ Puma.ca now

  • Coupon Code: PUMADADS
  • Discount: $25 off $75
  • Expiry: 15th June 2014

While Puma does ship from the U.S. and all prices are in USD, you won’t incur duties as Puma absorbs them in the costs! I bet you didn’t think you’d hear that from me, rather than the usual “you may incur duties or fees”.

Guess what’s even better than getting $25 off of $75? Getting it on items already on sale. I love adding coupon codes on to sales. I found these multi shorts, which are perfect for running or any other aerobic or anaerobic exercise and they are on sale for $35 from $50. Pair it with this graphic tank top (as shown by the model who closely resembles Channing Tatum), which is also on sale, now only for $19.50, from $27.50. You can’t go running without a hot looking hat like the Revolution 210 fitted men’s hat. I think this is a very sexy hat, especially with the black/red. On sale for $26.50, it has a regular price of $37.50. Add it all up and your spend will come to $87, but you’ll pay only $62, saving yourself a grand total of $53!

You don’t just have to shop for Dad during this sale, get yourself something or your kids. I really love these Faas grip JR golf shoes for my boys who will be hitting the links this summer. They look good and can help them with their game. They are now only $42, with a regular price of $60. My two older boys will be golfing, so I could get them a pair each (although they don’t have their sizes :() and instead of spending $120, I’ll only spend $59!

Check for more Puma coupon codes in our forum.

New Egg Canada: Cuisinart Theatre Style Popcorn Maker Only $60

Posted by on June 12, 2014 at 2:30 PM

New Egg Canada: Cuisinart Theatre Style Popcorn Maker Only $60

New Egg has a totally fantastic deal on a Cuisinart theatre style popcorn maker, which is now only $59.99, with a regular price of $179.99. That’s a savings of $120!

Why You Need This

You just do. Ok, I need this! Perfect for any man cave, home theatre, basement or even for your kitchen, you no longer need to go to the movies when you have one of these for yourself. With 300 watts of power, you can make up to eight cups of popcorn in less than three minutes.

This machine is also somewhat portable and would be a huge hit at birthday parties, fun fairs and even camping. I was at a fun fair last night at my kid’s school and they sold popcorn from a machine just like this for $1 a bag. That is a huge markup considering what it costs to make, so this is a good investment for any school, preschool or non-profit that relies on fun events to make money. I don’t know many people who don’t like popcorn, except maybe those who can’t stand the kernels getting in your teeth, but those are the same people who don’t eat peanut butter because it sticks to the roof of their mouth. You just deal with the downsides of these delicious confections.

Price Comparisons

Other stores sell this unit for quite a bit more than it is sold here right now. Sears, for example, sells it for $129.99. Best Buy sells it for $119.99. Amazon sells it for $111.99. While none of them sell it for the Newegg regular price of $180, none come close to the sale price either. You are saving a minimum of $50 getting it at New Egg.

Shipping

It looks like this baby will ship to you for free, which is a sweet bonus on such a large item. I love free shipping!

The Bay Canada: Mens Chaps Only $19.99

Still looking for a Father’s Day gift for dear ol’ Dad? Well, the Bay has a fantastic deal on men’s Chaps for only $19.99, with a regular price of up to $60!

Polo shirts are almost the easiest Father’s Day gift to get. You know he’ll use them for work or play and you know he probably needs them. I like shopping for my husband, as I find his style sense is something out of whack, but he usually likes what I buy him. My Dad would never wear a polo shirt, as he is strictly a jeans and t-shirt guy. This deal is pretty great, as you might as well spend the $99 necessary to get free shipping, which means you can get five shirts with a potential savings of $200!

There are so many styles of Chaps polos, from the solid, to the striped to the patterned. Get him one of each!

If he is big and tall (my hubby definitely is not and neither is my Dad), this Big and Tall Hillcrest polo is a flattering orange with stripes. It is regularly $60. If he isn’t the greatest at laundry, this Easy Care solid polo might be perfect for him. I like the light colour, although my husband would spill something on that within minutes of putting it on, so I hope easy care means stain-resistant! This one is regularly $50.

If custom fit is more his style, these solid custom fit pique polos come in a variety of colours and use True Fit to get your size. These are regularly $29.99.

Polos are the only tops on sale during this Chaps sale. Get him this sundrenched large plaid button-up shirt for casual wear or long summer days at the office. This top was $34.99.

I noticed that a number of items were sold out, especially the solid colour black polos, but other items may sell out quickly as well, so you might not want to wait before ordering if you have your eye on a particular style.
