Expedia Coupon Code: $50 Off $200 For Two Days Only (Expired)

Looking for a getaway? I just got back from one and my answer is still yes. Expedia’s got a great deal on right now that will get you $50 off your $200 hotel booking at most hotels with coupon code.

Click here to book a hotel @ Expedia.ca now

  • Coupon Code: FEB48HOUR
  • Discount: $50 off $200
  • Expiry: 19th February 2015

Your getaway doesn’t have to be far away, it could just be in your own city. With March Break approaching, you might be looking for a mini-vacation to the city near your home or going to visit friends and family. We are actually going to visit family in the city we previously lived in over the March Break. I think its important for cousins to stay in touch and my kids love hanging with their cousins. I want somewhere with a pool, so the kids can visit us at the hotel and everyone can have somewhere to hang out. We may also do a trip to Toronto go to the aquarium or the science centre. If the weather is good, we might even hit up the Toronto Zoo!

I have to tell you, there are a ton of exclusions for this coupon, but those are generally what I see with Expedia or other travel agency coupons.

Expedia Coupon Code: $50 Off $200 For Two Days Only (Expired)

An even better way to take advantage of this coupon is to combine it with Expedia’s 48 hour sale also going on, or one of their daily deals. I searched for a Toronto hotel for March Break and the Old Mill hotel came up. This is a hotel that I’ve heard rave reviews about and would love to take a night to myself with the husband to go there. I did search with kids included, so maybe they could come too. It is not a cheap hotel regularly, but with a 96% approval rating, I think it may have earned its price. Regularly $409 a night, it is on sale for $327. Once I added the coupon code it came down to $277.20 plus taxes and fees. Twenty people already booked this hotel on Expedia in the last 48 hours, so that tells you what kind of deal this is.

Of course, you can choose from thousands of other cities around the world, and you can also apply this to flight and hotel options as well. Check for all your Expedia coupon codes in the forum before you book any getaway!

Expedia Coupon Code: Get $100 Off $400 Hotel Bookings Today Only! (EXPIRED)

Posted by on September 20, 2014 at 12:40 PM

Expedia Coupon Code: Get $100 Off $400 Hotel Bookings Today Only! (EXPIRED)

Here’s a deal which you can take advantage of TODAY only! It’s for making a hotel booking through the Expedia.ca tablet app only – you can get $100 discount on a $400 spend. That’s a nice discount amount!

Click here to visit & browse on Expedia.ca

Click here for info about the new tablet app

  • Coupon Code: MOBILETABLET100 (EXPIRED)
  • Discount: $100 off $400
  • Expires: 20th September 2014

The full terms and conditions of this particular offer are listed here. I won’t paste them all in here, but you basically have to book today for travel by the end of the year 2014. There are a number of hotel exclusions too. You must make your booking through the new Expedia.ca tablet app. $100 is a great saving just for downloading and making the booking through their app. It’s a good incentive for you to get the app on your device, and then perhaps use it again when making hotel bookings in the future.

Last week, we saw a very similar offer from rival travel site here, Travelocity.ca. They are also offering an app-inspired coupon, it’s for $25 off $99. Obviously if you’re making a small booking, that might be a better one to make use of. But, if you are making a slightly larger booking, consider the price on Expedia.ca along with the $100 discount code.

This Expedia coupon code is saved here on our coupon forum. We aim to have the best coupon pages in Canada, so always check there before you make any online purchase.

Over the last few years as Bargainmoose has been growing, I’m finding that I have to travel to various events and I’m getting to meet with many of the stores that we write about here on the site. A few weeks ago, the last place that Eva and I travelled was to sunny California! We visited Santa Barbara for a conference, and I can say this, the hotel was NOT cheap. In that case, I actually booked through the Orbitz platform and gained some account credit on there, to use towards my next purchase. However, I didn’t realise when booking – there was no free cancellation policy. I was disappointed in this as a few days later, we made a change to our itinerary and we could have done with cancelling that particular hotel. So… if you’re making a booking on any site, be it Expedia or Orbitz, or any of the myriad other travel portals out there, make sure you check the hotel’s cancellation policy before you finalise your purchase.

Expedia Canada: 3-Night Getaways For $249 Or Less

Expedia Canada: 3 Night Getaways For $249 Or Less

Do you have big travel plans this summer?  Need some help figuring out where to go and/or where to lay your weary travelling head?  Look no further than Expedia.ca for 3-night getaways for $249 or less.

Choose from a long list of destinations, both within Canada and abroad for anywhere from this week to five weeks from now.  Some of the more popular destinations available within this promotion are Las Vegas, Orlando, Niagara Falls and Paris, so there is a deal to please every kind of traveller.

Has a summer girl’s trip been on your mind?  Check out this deal:  Save 45% from August 8th to August 11th at the Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.  The 3-night hotel deal is only $93!  This hotel is reviewed at 3.7 out of 5 or 87%.  Stay about a mile off the strip at this hotel with a 2-level casino, a bingo parlour, outdoor pool and 2 on-site restaurants.

Thinking of taking the family to Niagara Falls, but want to do it on the cheap?    You can save 10% at Niagara Lodge & Suites  with a 3-night deal for $240.  Now I’ll be honest, this isn’t the prettiest hotel I’ve seen, but I know when I go to Niagara Falls, we are very busy seeing all the sights both in the falls area as well as Niagara-on-the-Lake, so we are just in the hotel for sleep.  I prefer to keep my accommodation costs low in Niagara Falls so that I can spend a little more enjoying all the attractions, so this deal helps with that.

If you have some frequent flyer miles burning a hole in your pocket, maybe you would like to check out the 3-night deals in New York or Paris!  There are some good deals to California as well.  I don’t know when these 3-night deals from Expedia.ca will end, so I suggest booking asap.

Expedia Canada Vegas Sale: Up To 60% Off Hotels

Posted by on September 14, 2013 at 6:00 PM

Expedia Canada Vegas Sale: Up To 60% Off Hotels

Now is the time to splurge on that trip to Vegas you’ve been wanting to take, as Expedia has hotels for up to 60% off.

I’d love to go to Vegas with either my husband or my girlfriends. I figure it is a mostly inexpensive trip, a short time away and one that could be as wild as I’d like it to be (or as tame). I’m hoping a trip to Vegas will be in the cards (get it?) in the next year or so.

Here are some hotels I’d choose based on amenities and price:

  • 60% off Golden Gate hotel and casino – from $18 a night – newly renovated
  • 30% off Luxor hotel and casino – I’ve heard good things about this one – from only $38 a night
  • 35% off Treasure Island hotel and casino – an attraction in itself – from $51 a night

You must book by October 31st and travel by March 31st 2014, but check each hotel for when their rates are cheapest.

Expedia Canada Summer Sale: 50% Off Select Hotels

Get 50% off select hotels during Expedia’s Spontaneous Summer Sale.

Besides going to my mom’s boat, the family and I don’t have an summer plans yet. I’m considering renting a cottage for a few nights or even a hotel in a city close to home, just for the experience of getting away. This sale is a good time to book if I plan on doing that. Just travel by September 30th and its all good.

Sample prices include:

  • Vancouver for only $75 a night
  • Toronto for only $72 a night
  • Calgary for only $129 a night
  • Niagara Falls for only $60 a night
  • Montreal for only $53 a night

You’ll have to go on to check what the rates look like in your desired city, but with 50% off select hotels, you know you’ll save quite a bit.

Bargainmoosers, what Canadian city would you like to visit this Summer? Tell me in the comment section below.

Expedia Canada: Hotels $99 and Under

Posted by on March 24, 2013 at 11:00 PM

Expedia Canada: Hotels $99 and Under

Expedia Canada has a great promotion on right now where you can find hotels for $99 and under! This sale includes popular destinations such as Las Vegas, New York, Paris, Toronto and others!

There are actually some pretty incredible hotel deals around the continent. Here are some fabulous finds for your travel:

  • Americas Best Value Inn & Suites – Las Vegas – Was $36 | Now $26 per night
  • Brewster’s Mountain Lodge – Banff – Was $141 | Now $71 per night
  • The Continental Hotel – London – Was $83 | Now $66 per night

Prices depend upon your dates of course – the above are just examples. I was looking at April 14 – 19th for pricing options. Do note that hotel savings are based upon Expedia’s everyday hotel rates, excluding taxes and other fees. Minimum stay may be required. I found some offers where you could save an additional 25% for staying three or more days.

There are a ton of offers, with some being longer term and some very short term offers. The Brewster’s Mountain lodge deal is a very short term deal – so grab it soon if you want it.

The under $99 hotel deals page is an excellent resource for saving on vacation stays. I highly recommend bookmarking it for future travel searches.

It’s Not Too Late to Shop For Valentine’s Day: Surprise Them With a Trip Away!

Posted by on February 14, 2013 at 1:30 PM

Its Not Too Late to Shop For Valentines Day: Surprise Them With a Trip Away!

Although Valentine’s Day is here, there is still time to get them something extra special, like a flight out of here! This Winter has been dragging on long enough with its teasers of Spring, then its minus one million temperatures. The other day while taking the kids to their school bus stop, lightning flashed and thunder cracked and there was snow on the ground. I’d love to get the heck out of here on a sunny warm vacation and right now there are tons of deals allowing you (and hopefully me) to do just that. Check them out below.

This Wag Jag Jaunt is offering a sun-filled trip to Bavaro Beach with a $2000 resort credit per room. Get seven nights at a 4.5 star hotel with food, drinks, airport transfers and golf included for only $949!

This ethicalDeal is absolutely amazing and it makes me cry thinking how much I’d love to do this! Starting at $499, you save $500 on an amazing five or six day, all-inclusive beachfront yoga retreat vacation in Costa Rica. Including yoga twice a day and nutrition workshops, this amazing and relaxing vacation is an excellent deal.

Air Canada is offering 14% off flights within Canada (must be booked today!) and 15% off flights to Asia and Australia and deals to romantic European destinations. Check out the coupon codes for Air Canada in the Bargainmoose forum.

KLM is offering great deals to Venice, Barcelona and Prague, but only until tonight!

And don’t forget the 50% off to anywhere in Canada in any class on Via Rail, that has now been extended until February 19th.

Groupon also has some amazing getaway deals including a wine getaway to Niagara Falls, or even a trip to Las Vegas.

If you can’t get too far, Hotels.com is offering a 30% off sale for Valentine’s Day on some great destinations, even in your own city.

And for the really frugal, Expedia is offering some great deals on hotels for less than $99, some as low as $20 a night in cities like Las Vegas, Toronto, New York and even Paris.

Get your loved one what they really want (and go with them!).

Expedia Canada: Escape Winter Sale

Posted by on January 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM

Expedia Canada: Escape Winter Sale

Expedia Canada currently has their Escape Winter Sale on where if you book a select all-inclusive beach vacation you will receive a $150 future travel credit.

To qualify for the free future travel credit you must book by 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on February 28, 2013, for travel from Canada by March 31, 2013. The price of the qualifying pre-packaged vacation package must be at least C$1,000.00 before taxes and fees.

Other fine print:

The Credit may only be used on “Build Your Own” packages, which must include a minimum 5 night stay and involve a minimum spend of C$850.00 (before taxes and fees) in total (for all passengers). The C$850.00 minimum spend calculation excludes the cost of cruises, charter flights, car rentals, hotels other than “Expedia Special Rate” hotels, activities or travel insurance. The Credit is valid only for travel from Canada booked on expedia.ca following receipt of Credit and completed by 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) November 30, 2013.

I could really go for a warm beach vacation right now. I have never been on an all-inclusive vacation and it is certainly an attractive proposition! No worries about flight, hotel, or food! I really want to go to Hawaii so I was checkout out my reading week break from school. I could go all inclusive for 7 days for around $1600. So tempting!

Expedia.ca: $50 Prepaid Card with 3+ Night Stay

Expedia.ca has a little offer for some extra ‘cash’ in pocket for your next upcoming work conference, or vacation. If you book a 3+ night stay in participating hotels, you will receive a $50 prepaid card to spend!

You must book by August 31 and travel by September 6, 2010.

I couldn’t find a list of participating hotel chains, that would probably make it too easy.. but if you have any difficulties try calling one of their customer service reps.

While you are there, check out their Deals section… there are wonderful discounts on hotels, flights, and cruises. Expedia really seems to like that 3+ range for Hotel stays, and many of their deals offer 40% off or more on 3 or more nights at a hotel.

I have never booked with Expedia before, have any of our Moosers? If you have, drop us a line and let us know what your experience was like!
