Aldo Shoes Canada: Get 10% Discount Now!!

Posted by Anna Waters on October 19, 2009 at 11:00 PM

Aldo Shoes Canada: Get 10% Discount Now!!

This might be common knowledge, but I’ve never actually done a Bargainmoose post on this specific issue, so I might as well put it into words. If it happens to save someone a few dollars, then my work here is done!

If you join the Aldo Shoes online mailing list, they will send you a free coupon for a 10% discount on your next purchase!

I do find Aldo Shoes a bit expensive, but they are excellent quality shoes, and they have some brilliant footwear. I love browsing through their stores, but I rarely buy. Perhaps the extra 10% discount will encourage me to do so… !

Remember, there’s a possible 15% discount for Aldo kids shoes here, and more email discount offers here.

Happy Birthday! An exclusive 25% discount during the week of your birthday! In order to receive your personal 25% birthday discount, you must be registered to RW&CO.NNECTION at least 2 weeks prior to your birthday. You must bring in a printed copy of your birthday e-mail in order to receive your offer.

Canadian Freebie: Register Your Starbucks Card, Get A Free Beverage

Posted by admin on September 21, 2009 at 9:00 PM

Chai, espresso, cappucino, coffee, tea – oh my! I like to go through my day with a near-toxic blood caffeine level, so it’s pretty safe to say that I”m a hardcore Starbucks junkie! Just seeing the color green now makes my heart beat faster! And being the parent of teenagers, I never have loose change or cash in my wallet (why does everyone need my last $5 just as I’m about to head out the door in the a.m.?!) … so I always have a Starbucks card in my purse.

Canadian Freebie: Register Your Starbucks Card, Get A Free BeverageStarbucks is now offering an extra incentive to register your card with them – they’re giving you a free beverage on your birthday!

Why bother to register your card?

Well, registering your card will help you to get the most out of it – special rewards and benefits like a complimentary beverage on your birthday. You’ll get up to 2 hours of free Wi-Fi (the card provides the username and password needed to conect with Bell Wi-Fi). It It lets you check your balance.

You can even set up your card under the “Manage Card” feature to automatically reload when the balance falls below a certain amount -   a definite perk if your kids use your card too, it helps avoid that “what do you mean there’s not enough left on it” moment at the till! Best of all, it protects your balance if your card is lost or stolen! If you report the card lost/stolen, they can transfer the balance as of that day to a new card that they’ll mail out to you immediately!

One other perk of registering your card, it also makes you eligible for Starbucks Card Rewards which offer some sweet savings to further enhance your visit to Starbucks: free syrup and milk options for your beverage, free brewed coffee refills -hot or iced, a free tall (12 oz) beverage with your 1lb whole bean purchase, and up to 2 hrs free Wi-Fi per day.Canadian Freebie: Register Your Starbucks Card, Get A Free Beverage

I registered my  card, and it only took me 4 minutes (and I’m a techno-doofus!). You’ll need to enter the card number and the 8-digit Card Security Code, both which can both be found on the back of the card. You’ll need to create an account with Starbucks, entering the usual name/password/date of birth/mailing address.

When you’re entering your address, the Canadian provinces are listed below the USA states. The form does accept Canadian postal codes.

    Happy Birthday to us!

    Thanks to pink!

Sirens Coupon: $5 Off $20 Clothing Deal!

Posted by Anna Waters on September 8, 2009 at 9:00 AM

Sirens Coupon: $5 Off $20 Clothing Deal!

If you join the email newsletters at Sirens Fashion online, they will email you a free printable coupon for a $5 discount on your next $20 spend, in-store.

I just signed up, have clicked  on the email verification link, but haven’t got my coupon yet. Apparently, it should come within the next 7 days.

I was just a wee bit annoyed by their website. Every now and again something took over the screen saying that I was not allowing popups and should do so to continue. I think it was some sort of Firefox incompatibility though. I had to keep refreshing the page.

Canadian Coupons: Sunrise Soya Foods Free Pete’s Cuisine Coupon

Posted by Anna Waters on September 6, 2009 at 3:00 PM

Canadian Coupons: Sunrise Soya Foods Free Petes Cuisine Coupon

Here’s a handy deal for the vegetarian Bargainmoosers. If you join the email newsletter on the Sunrise Soya Canadian website, they will send you a free coupon for Pete’s Cuisine 2 Go.

If you are a vegetarian, this could be handy!

I signed up, and they sent me this link to get a coupon, which they will then mail out to you.

I must tell you guys that I have never cooked with soya products in my life. I’m a carnivore through and through, and soya has never really appealed to me as it just seems to be a meat substitute. Are you a veggie? Do you use a lot of soya?

    Nair Coupons: Get Yours Here!

Posted by Anna Waters on August 5, 2009 at 6:00 AM

I see on the Nair Canada website that they are offering some free coupons if you sign up.

    The coupons available:

    • Get $1 off any Nair cream
    • Get $2 off any Nair wax

I’ve just signed up and I’m waiting on the coupons, so I don’t know any expiry dates yet.

I once tried to use the Nair waxing strips on my leggies. I was going to Spain for a week and I didn’t want to have to bother shaving them every so often. Now, I’m not very good with pain. In fact, I’m absolutely against voluntary pain, which many ladies seem to frequently have. Piercings – none. Tattoos – none. So waxing my legs was a big step!

At the time, my partner was on pretty strong painkillers for a bad back. So I decided I would pop a few pills and wait an hour, to try and prepare me for the experience. I downed a few of those, and tried to mentally prepare myself for the oncoming torture.Nair Coupons: Get Yours Here!

I warmed up the little wax strips in my hands, slapped them on my legs and proceeded to wax.

    Oh.

    My.

    God.

I think I managed it half way up one leg, and I just couldn’t take it any more. The ankles!? Such pain!? Who would torture themselves like this on a regular basis!?

A few months later, my brain had kind of forgotten the pain, and I decided to try again. This time, my little friend “Smirnoff” would help me out. Better living through chemicals, eh?

So I got quite drunk on voddie and coke, to see if that improved the torturous depilatory experience. Once again, my feeble brain couldn’t take the pain. So there I was, drunk on the fruit of the potato, with half a hairy leg.

    Waxing just isn’t for me.

    Thanks Zunami.

Their offers may be from big name brands such as Cascade, Dawn, Febreze, Mr. Clean and Swiffer.
