Free Root Beer When You Sign Up for E-Newsletter @ A&W Canada

Posted by on January 12, 2015 at 11:40 AM

Free Root Beer When You Sign Up for E Newsletter @ A&W Canada

When I think of A&W Restaurants, I automatically think about their famous Root Beer. This week, A&W Canada wants you to sign up for their e-newsletter. In exchange for signing up, you will receive a coupon for a free Root Beer.

Once you get your free Regular Root Beer coupon in your email inbox, you can redeem it at your local A&W restaurant, no purchase required. Be careful not to click “redeem” until you are in an A&W restaurant. You will only have on hour to present the offer on your phone to an A&W cashier after you click “redeem”.

To enjoy this freebie to the fullest, I would enjoy it in the restaurant. They will serve your free root beer in an ice cold A&W mug, and that just makes the world of difference. Too bad this isn’t a free root beer float, those are truly delicious as well. A&W root beer is known to be frothy with a full-bodied taste. A&W’s root beer has been famous since 1919 when Roy Allen set up a little roadside drink stand to aid the thirst of the spectators when the World War I veterans were returning. His delicious concoction was an instant success. Back then he was selling this delicious drink for a nickel per glass, but free is even better than that.

Although this offer cannot be combined with any other promotional offers or coupons, there are other A&W Canada printable coupons available right now as well. You will be limited to one coupon per customer per visit, so choose wisely (or bring a friend).

The other A&W Restaurant coupons are:

  • Free Spicy Chipotle Chubby Chicken Wrap with your purchase of any regular priced combo
  • Enjoy a Bacon N Egger or Sausage N Egger sandwich at the regular price and get the second sandwich for free
  • Enjoy a Mama, Papa or Grandpa Burger at the regular price and you can add bacon and cheese for free
  • Upgrade to sweet potato fries for free with the purchase of fries or a combo at regular price

Tiger Direct Canada: Customer Appreciation Sale – Save $15 On Your Order Of $100 Or More (EXPIRED)

Posted by on October 4, 2014 at 12:00 PM

Tiger Direct Canada: Customer Appreciation Sale Save $15 On Your Order Of $100 Or More (EXPIRED)

If you’ve been itching to make a purchase at Tiger Direct lately, then this deal might be right up your alley. Until October the 9th, you can save $15 on your order of $100 or more at Tiger Direct! Shipping is only free for select items, while it’s calculated for all other items on the site, so take that into consideration before placing an order with Tiger Direct.

No coupon code is required to redeem this deal at Tiger Direct. Simply click on the above link, enter your email into the appropriate field, and you’ll be sent a unique link that will allow you to be eligible for this limited time discount.

Sure, it may not be 50% off of your order, but saving an extra $15 on an item that you already planned to purchase isn’t a bad bonus! Tiger Direct is a great source for electronics, flat screen televisions, computers, computer accessories, and even some office supplies and video games.

I used to spend a lot of time at Tiger Direct retail locations back in the late 2000’s – at that time, their deals seemed to be that much better than the ones you’d find at Future Shop and Best Buy. At the time, it was also a great place with affordable prices when it came to purchasing equipment for the office I worked for.

Nowadays, I don’t really check out Tiger Direct very often, mainly because I’m not really into building PCs or purchasing computer equipment anymore. Also, when many other sites offer free shipping for the majority of their products after a minimum purchase (like Amazon, Best Buy, and Future Shop), I find it more convenient to purchase items from those sources.

However, that shouldn’t downplay the significance of this deal. If you were planning to get a nice big TV, or a new laptop, an extra $15 discount on a sale price can always help you out. For example, you can save $15 on this Magellan Echo Smart Running Watch and get it for $96.99 (it’s already on sale for $111.99). There are plenty of intriguing products that you can check out on Tiger Direct’s website.

This deal will be valid until October 9th, so if you notice any great sales for items that are over $100 on the Tiger Direct website, keep this $15 discount in mind. Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

Free eBook: Free Stuff on your Birthday

Free eBook: Free Stuff on your Birthday

Steven and Lina, the authors of GroceryAlerts, dropped me a line about an eBook they’ve penned. I rarely post this kind of thing on Bargainmoose, but they’ve done a lot of hard work and come up with a good resource for Canadians. The eBook details a lot of the freebies you can get on your birthday.

These offers are the kind of thing you’ll see here on Bargainmoose tagged with birthday, but Steve and Lina have gone into a lot of detail, covering various categories and digging into deals for various provinces. Some of the nation-wide examples:

Some of the restaurant and dining offer tend to be BOGO (buy one get one) or a free gift with purchase. But that’s all clearly explained in the eBook. A lot of them are totally free, like the 4 deals I mentioned above.

Everydaysource: 10% Coupon Code (US)

Everydaysource: 10% Coupon Code (US)

I recently posted about, sister site to Eforcity – 2 little US sites which are great if you are buying accessories like phone cases, cables, etc. If you sign up to the mailing list for, you can get an instant coupon code for a 10% discount towards your next purchase.

The email with your 10% discount should come through to your inbox immediately. They send you a coupon code which you can use at checkout. When I signed up, I got the coupon code MESNSL0411 – it’s probably unique, but you’re welcome to try and use it to see if it works for you, to save you signing up.

I recently posted about their $0.99 deals, which are still ongoing until the 18th of December 2011. You might spot a few things in there to throw in your cart as you make your purchase.

Thanks to Alanna on the deals forums! Alanna was spending $40 so she used her 10% discount to save $4. While obviously not a humungous discount, it’s still worth using if you’re placing an order there anyway.

November 20 Free $10 Coupon (Newsletter Signup)

Posted by on November 20, 2011 at 2:00 PM Free $10 Coupon (Newsletter Signup)

Did you know that when you sign up to the newsletter online, they will send you a free $10 coupon for a $75 spend? No? Well, now you do!

When you sign up (there’s a link towards the bottom left of the above page), they will instantly send you an email confirmation. Click the link in that email to confirm, and you will be sent to Simons page and you’ll see the promo code. I am seeing the code 10SIMONS11N – so this could be a generic coupon, available for everyone to use.

It’s a shame that there is a $75 minimum spend, that’s a bit high. But if you shop there anyway, then $10 off $75 equates to a 13% discount. AT least you will get free shipping as you are spending more than  the $50 minimum.

I have a separate email account that I use to sign up for email newsletters for many Canadian stores. It gets maybe a 70 or 80 emails a day from all the stores. Sometimes, the email newsletters are pretty standard, but from time to time they can email you a mega coupon or deal. It’s worth it! I recommend you do the same – just make a new gmail account specifically for this, if you don’t have one already.

Booster Juice: Birthday Freebie

Booster Juice: Birthday Freebie

If you sign up for the email newsletters at, they will send you a coupon for a free birthday smoothie, when your birthday comes around.

When you click the above link, click on the orange circle called “nation.” In there, fill in the form with all your details, making sure to select your local Booster Juice store. Once you’ve done that, they will send you a confirmation email with a link to click.

I’d recommend adding your correct date of birth, don’t try and spoof it. Some stores would ask for ID when you’re redeeming a birthday coupon, as they don’t want people taking advantage of the freebies.

The free coupon can only be redeemed on the actual date of your birthday, at the store you name in the sign-up process.

There are loads of Canadian locations for Booster Juice – you can see them at the green circle with the world in it, titled “where.”

Giant Tiger Canada: Free Coupons

Giant Tiger Canada: Free Coupons

If you register for the Giant Tiger mailing list online, they will send you a free coupon for a $5 discount on a $15 spend in-store, for use on clothing and footwear.

The coupon is a unique printable coupon, so I cannot share it in here. You’ll need to sign up at the above link. The email coupon came within minutes once I had signed up, when I first found this out a few weeks ago. The expiry date on mine stated that it was valid to the 1st of December 2010 , but that may vary depending on your sign-up date.

I had a quick browse through their flyer to see if there were any bargains to spend this on. They actually have some great bargains on kids clothes, which are ideal as the kids grow out of them so fast. For example, they were offering infant PJs for only $4.97, girls PJ pants for $7.97, boys micropolar robes for $12.97, and 4 pairs of girls socks for only $4.

Jack Astor’s Bar & Grill: Discounts By Email! ($10 Off $25+)

Jack Astor’s Bar & Grill: Discounts By Email! ($10 Off $25+)

Here’s a simple little deal in the Bargainmoose range of email discount offers. If you join the Jack Astor’s restaurant VIP club online, it signs you up to receive various deals and discounts by email.

When I joined the Jack Asters VIP club, within 24 hours I had received my first email. It contained a free printable coupon for a $10 discount on a $25 spend at one of their restaurants! That’s a pretty good discount, in my opinion! The printable coupon is tailored to me, with my personal details on it, so you will have to register above to claim one for yourself.

There’s an interesting little animation on the Jack Astors home page… (feed the hungryman) where you can feed him and see his reaction. You have to feed him the soap – it’s hilarious!

I’ve never eaten at Jacks, have you?

UPDATE 2nd June 2010: I have been a member of this club for a year now, and they have also sent me an anniversary offer. It’s for a free appetizer when you spend $25 or more on food items. If you regularly eat at Jack Astor’s, then this is a great club to join!
