A bit of an older expansion pack: but one that was very well received. It has a Metascore on Metacritic of 91… which basically means it ROCKS.

Now for a little price comparison: The expansion pack costs $19.99 @ The Source, and is $29.99 @ Amazon Canada. EB Games’ price is certainly the better deal!

First things first, let’s talk about the console, which you pay the full $250 for. I absolutely love this machine. I don’t own one but I love it. I don’t game enough nowadays to have a portable device whose main focus is gaming. That’s just my thing but I know there are some people out there who want this. I’m not gonna go on a full out review of it here so if you’re interested, MetaCritic did a fantastic roundup of reviews.

Second thing we need to talk about is the game. The game is a pack-in game and as such, it isn’t a top tier game. From time to time you see a top tier game packed in but it usually ins’t for free. The game has a 84% on meta critic so it can’t be terrible. Here is a game summary:

Gravity Rush has players manipulate gravity to save your world from destruction. Gain a new perspective as you assume the role of Kat, a head-string girl looking for a way to protect her future in a world that’s crumbling under her feet. And the last thing you get is a $20 PSN Card. You can use it towards purchases on PSN, which includes DLC, themes, backgrounds, games and some other stuff. It can be used for any PSN enabled device.

Just got the display today and it’s AMAZINGLY CLEAR. My PS3 recognized it immediately and i tried some 3d games. Uncharted looked good, better than crysis 2 in 3d. For a PC monitor its good but letters are a bit blocky. I’m using the new playstation remote 2.0 with the display, it works fine. I hope better 3d games come soon. Overall great product

I just went through checkout to check out the shipping costs, and you get free shipping – so certainly the best deal out there. Now other sites have the console on sale as well, most notably Amazon Canada, which has it priced at $134.99. However, EBGames is $5 cheaper than Amazon.

I also checked out BestBuy and Future Shop which matched EBGame’s price, but they were both SOLD OUT!

I think that this deal will sell out quickly as well, so if you want a nice XBOX console for a good price, check it out.

The bundle includes the NHL Slapshot Hockey Stick and the game itself. You can work your way up from peewee to pro level, or you can try your hockey skills and play Wayne Gretzky. The game has mixed reviews on EBGames, however – together they equal a 8/10 ranking. On Amazon Canada it has 6 reviews for a perfect 5/5 rating!

I price compared with Amazon Canada: they had it in their marketplace for $19.99 + $4.99 shipping. The Source still had it for $29.99 and Future Shop had it listed for $24.99.
