Chuck E. Cheese’s features age appropriate games, rides, prizes, food and entertainment that children of all ages from toddlers to big kids will love. You can take your family there for dinner or for special occasions such as birthdays, play groups and school fundraising events.

We had my son’s birthday party there last year and the kids had a blast (ages 5 – 9).  He plans on having it again this year!  The kids played the arcade games and collected tickets that they later redeems for prizes.  The pizza was a hit with both the kids and the parents – which was a bonus.Here are some useful links for you:

I’ve only eaten at Applebees once or twice, and I wasn’t really impressed at all by either the service or the food. I know it’s a good family friendly restaurant though, and many families are regular patrons.

Once again this year, Swiss Chalet Canada is offering their “Festive Special.” If you’re buying one of their festive special meals now, you will get a free coupon for a “buy 1 get 1 free” on quarter chicken dinners, which you can redeem in January 2011.

There is a small difference in the fine print this year though. They say that when redeeming the coupon, you have to buy 2 beverages. I suppose that’s OK if you’re a regular at Swiss Chalet anyway, and would usually buy drinks.

The dealio is this – buy 2 of their mini sirloin burgers for only $3.49. They look mega tasty in the picture, but I’ve never had one of this type of burger.

On my recent 1 year anniversary of joining the email newsletter, I received a printable coupon for  a free 2 topping individual pizza. The coupon was valid for a week from the date of receipt. But sadly, I cannot share the offer with you as it is a unique email – you’ll have to sign up to receive these kind of offers yourself!

On my birthday, they emailed a coupon for a free gourmet pizza or dessert. And there was also an email on Valentine’s Day, so they really don’t contact you very much.

Remember, if you’re going to be signing up to the mailing lists of companies so you can get deals in newsletters, I recommend setting up a new disposable email address, which you can use just for this purpose. For example, I use a spare gmail address where all the junk (and deals) go to!
