Basically the way it will work is that you will get one free Mini Mario’s Meal with a meal purchase of $14.99 or more, or get two free Mini Mario’s Meals with the purchase of two meals at $14.99 or more.

Since each province celebrates March Break at different times in March, you will need to check your local East Side Mario’s for when their promotion is happening.

March Break can get pricey having to plan things for the kids to do, so saving money on dinners is a nice little bonus!

I absolutely love East Side Mario’s and I have to admit that it’s more for the salad and bread than anything else, although all of their food is amazing.  I will honestly pay full price for their menu items, but 15% off is a great bonus.  If you order any large pizza, it includes soup or salad and a garlic homeloaf for up to 4 people, which is probably 2 and half in my home.

You can order a standard pizza, or build your own with their wonderfully fresh toppings and I can’t even begin to tell you about the salad.  It has a mix of different greens, grape tomatoes, pepperoncini peppers, red onions, black olives and croutons all tossed in their famous and delicious house vinaigrette dressing.  The great news (to me anyway) is that you can actually purchase their dressing now for $4.99 a bottle.

I would be totally happy with just the salad and garlic homeloaf, but their food is so appetizing, that I’m sure I’ll want some pizza when it arrives.

If you have never ordered from East Side Mario’s before, they will give you a complimentary order of Budda Boomers with your very first order.  These are sticks of deep fried pizza dough that are tossed in herbs and garlic and sprinkled with parmesan romano and served with a tomato dipping sauce.

Now, after writing this, I am definitely ordering some.

Having 2 little ones myself, I know how expensive it can be to go out for dinner.  I have eaten at East Side Mario’s before and love their food, especially their pasta dishes.

I got the coupon in like 2 seconds flat after I confirmed my subscription. The fine print of the coupon says:

Still a good little free item. I am torn between the Mushroom Stuffed Caps and the Nachos! The coupon is valid through the 31st, December 2011.

The coupon that I received was valid to the 31st December 2011, and it’s unique to me so I cannot share it here. You’d need to sign up at the above link yourself. I received the email with the free appetizer a few hours after I signed up, so it shouldn’t take long for your coupon to come through.

A brief year or two ago East Side mario’s closed both their Edmonton locations, reason unknown. However, if I want to drive a 1/2 hour I could go out to one of the nearby mini-cities as they still have sustained East Side Mario’s. I remember ESM had a lovely pasta dish with mushrooms… yummy!
