Anna spotted a post over on Techrunch about daily deals site Dealfind Canada, a site we’ve posted about a few times on Bargainmoose, and she emailed me the details. Dealfind are offering Dream Deals – they are very short term deals for extraordinary products at amazing discounts. The only way to track the Dream Deals is via Dealfind’s social media –the Twitter accounts and Facebook fan page.

I am quite excited to tell you about this: because it is probably my deal of the year! A little over a week ago I was on my Twitter when a Tweet from Dealfind went out saying their next Dream Deal had just launched: it was an iPad 2 (16 gig, Wifi, Black) for $100!

I high-tailed it over there and managed to get my virtual hands on an iPad 2 before the very limited number sold out. They all disappeared in approximately 5 minutes! This is a side deal in Mississauga if you have any trouble finding it.

Just think about it. Normally you would spend over a $1 per pack of gum.. and this is less than a dollar per pack. Pretty good deal. I did a price comparison with Well.ca where a case of 12 packs will cost you $19.25. for 75 cents more you can get double that amount!

It is amazing what some of the research is saying about aspartame:

This is actually not news to me. I can’t have too many beverages or things with ‘fake’ sweeteners like aspartame in them. I use to be really into diet pop but after a couple weeks I always get really bad indigestion, stomach problems and an increase in my headaches. I use to chew gum to suppress appetite but it would always give me a headache. I figured it was the stress on my jaw as I have TMJ. Now I wonder if it was the aspartame in it. So I am going to give Pur Gum a try! I look forward to trying the Pomegranate Mint flavour.
