Dealfind Canada: Sutra Curling Iron & Blow Dryer Deals

Posted by on July 20, 2014 at 7:00 PM

Dealfind Canada: Sutra Curling Iron & Blow Dryer Deals

Dealfind has two fine deals on hair styling accessories currently. First, pick up a Sutra Curling Iron for $35 including tax, plus a $15 shipping charge ($275 value). You can also purchase a Sutra Blow Dryer for $54 including tax, plus $20 shipping ($350 value).

Let us talk about the curling iron first. You are paying $50 (including shipping) for an iron that is listed for $275 on Sutra’s website. While the main pictures show a pink curling iron, you actually get choices in both size and colour. You can choose between:

  • Pink – 13 mm curling iron
  • Black – 19 mm curling iron
  • Pink – 25 mm curling iron
  • Pink – 32 mm curling iron
  • Black – 25 mm curling iron

The size determines how tight or lose your curls are. This curling iron has a 100% solid ceramic / ionic heating element that heats up in less than 30 seconds. With a 360-degree swivel cord, you will not get tangled up while curling your hair. The system also comes with a thermal glove to keep your hand burn-free. I have always wanted really large ringlets to float around my face, thus I would purchase the 32 mm curling iron.

The Sutra Professional Blow Dryer will cost you $74 once you include shipping. It is a lightweight unit that generates infrared ceramic heat. The 1600W – 2000W motor gives you a shorter drying time and two concentrators help direct the heat to where it is most needed on your hair. The blow dryer only comes in pearl white. This unit does retail on Sutra’s website for $350.

I am not very familiar with this brand, but professional quality hair-styling tools tend to be expensive. Deals like this certainly help you save money. My hair tends to be extremely low maintenance, but even I have days where I want a change. Since I have straight hair, my main wish is for it to be curly. I especially like that idea during the summer: soft curls framing my face while lying on the beach or playing in the ocean. Currently I do not have any way to curl my hair, but this curling iron is affordable as long as I used it often enough to justify the purchase.

Shipping will take about three to four weeks. There are unlimited purchases per person (and as gifts); however, this item is final sale (unless defective).

Dealfind Canada: Free Photo Book from Photobook Canada ($24 Value)

Posted by on July 11, 2014 at 10:30 PM

Dealfind Canada: Free Photo Book from Photobook Canada ($24 Value)

Hello fantastic deal how I do love you! Receive a FREE 6×6 inch Mini Square Softcover photo book with 40 pages in it from Photobook Canada when you pick up this voucher for $0 from Dealfind Canada. This offer is worth $24 and includes tax.

You will only need to pay for shipping when you order your photo book from Photobook Canada. That means if you get this voucher and never use it, then you have not lost any money. If you get the free voucher and do use it, then you are saving $24 and only paying $4.99 for shipping. I am totally getting one of these as a gift for a friend of mine.

Now, you do have the option to upgrade your free voucher to a paid voucher at a very steep discount. Here are the upgrade options:

  • FREE 6×6 inch Mini Square Softcover ($24 Value)
  • $10 for an 8×11 inch Medium Portrait Softcover ($40 Value).
  • $15 for an 8×11 inch Medium Portrait Imagewrap Hardcover  ($60 Value).
  • $20 for an 11×8.5 inch Medium Landscape Imagewrap Hardcover ($70 Value).
  • $30 for an 15×11 inch Large Landscape Imagewrap Hardcover($105 Value).

All these books only include 40 pages. If you upgrade your book size, then shipping costs will naturally go up. However, Photobook Canada has always had very reasonable shipping charges so don’t worry about them. Personally, I am sticking with the free photo book.

There is a limit of one free book voucher per person. You have from July 23, 2014 to January 27, 2015 to redeem your vouchers, which is plenty of time to create your photographic masterpiece.

I am pretty stoked about this. Unfortunately, the redemption date does not start until the 23rd or else I would make up a photo book for my friend Robert as his birthday is on July 27th. Maybe I will send it as a belated birthday gift or deliver it in person when I see him again in November. It is hard being away from friends for a long period without being able to see each other, so picture books are a nice way of still being with a person when you cannot be physically present.

Pick up this great little freebie while quantities last. Over 5,500 vouchers have already been claimed and I do not know if there is a limited quantity. Supposedly, there is still one week left of this deal.

What is your book theme going to be and whom are you going to send it to?

Dealfind & Teambuy Coupon Code: Get 30% Off

Dealfind & Teambuy Coupon Code: Get 30% Off

This is a deal which these group buy sites have released for Canada Day weekend. and are sister sites, selling a huge range of varied offers, from products to local deals. This weekend, you can save 30% on any order providing your cart is of a value between $30 and $100.

  • Coupon Code: SUMMER
  • Discount: 30% off
  • Applies to: Carts of $30 to $100
  • Expires: 29th June 2014

This could actually be a very good promo code to make use of and maybe save you quite a few dollars.

Dealfind Deals

For example, I was browsing on Dealfind and I spotted this 1-Night Stay with $15 Dining Credit at Embassy Suites Ottawa which was coming in at $99 (potential value of $230), and the cost dropped to $69.30 when the coupon code is applied.

I love these clear umbrellas which are $12 for one or $19 for two (shipping is an extra $6). They don’t quite meet the minimum cart value of $30, but they’d be good if you were buying something else… it works out at $8.40 plus shipping, for one.

Teambuy Deals

Over on Teambuy, there are a ton of products that are pretty good value. These Solar Powered LED Fairy Lights for Indoor or Outdoor Use are $19 plus $9 shipping. If you were planning ahead for Christmas and wanted to buy a few sets in order to make your cart up to the $30 minimum… it works out at $22.30 per set (including shipping). They’re really pretty, I’d love to put these on the trees outside my home.

This waterproof mattress protector sounds like a good idea. They’re $35 plus $10 shipping (which is steep sadly) but at least the 30% coupon helps towards that. The final price is about $34.50 each, so at least the coupon covers that shipping fee!

We’ve got this Dealfind and Teambuy promo code saved in our coupon forum, check them out there! Make sure that you subscribe to the email alerts if you want to get a notification the next time we add a coupon.

Dealfind: Just Cavalli Sunglasses Just $49 + Shipping ($295 Value)

Posted by on June 16, 2014 at 10:30 PM

Dealfind: Just Cavalli Sunglasses Just $49 + Shipping ($295 Value)

Dealfind Canada has acquired a lot of Just Cavalli sunglasses that they are clearing out for only $49 + $15 shipping. These designer sunglasses are valued at $295, so this is a deal you will not want to miss.

If the link above doesn’t take you directly to the deal, just search for “Just Cavalli Sunglasses” and you should be able to find the deal easily.

There are 35 styles of sunglasses to choose from. With that large of a selection it might take you a while to figure out which one you like best. They have a picture of each style with its code so you can compare and contrast styles and colours to figure out which is your favourite. The glasses vary in materials too: some are made of metal (more the aviator style sunglasses) and others are made of plastic (like the cat glasses style and the big round ones). In case your monitor isn’t sure on colour, they are listed in a chart below with the primary material.

Each pair of sunglasses comes with an original Just Cavalli case with cleaning cloth. All the sunglasses have 100% UV protection for your eyes and at this price; you can certainly get a new pair for summer. I would be riffling through this sale on sunglasses if I did not already have a pair of Ray Bans in storage from a previous group buy offer. While my first attempt at buying designer sunglasses at a group buy website went south (they were fakes and I boycotted that group buy website ever since), my second purchase at a different group buy site went really well and I am so happy I decided to try again. My current sunglasses have received a couple mean scratches lately, which means I will be switching to my new sunglasses very soon.

With shipping, you will be paying a total of $64 for a pair of Just Cavalli sunglasses. That is an absolute steal of a deal and just in time for summer. Most people I know seem to go through atleast one pair of sunglasses per summer due to either damage or forgetfulness.

So far, I have had reputable purchases with Dealfind, which is why I still blog about them. All sunglasses ship two to four weeks after the deal has ended and they ship to the address you enter at checkout. All deals are final sale unless Dealfind makes a mistake.

Dealfind Canada: $14 For LOTR Gold Plated One Ring ($49 Value)

Posted by on June 6, 2014 at 9:30 PM

Dealfind Canada: $14 For LOTR Gold Plated One Ring ($49 Value)

If you are a fan of the epic Lord of The Rings trilogy by Tolkien, or have warmed up to a bunch of dwarves trying to reclaim their homeland in The Hobbit, then you will be very familiar with my precious. You can get your own hands on a copy of this ring for just $14 + $5 shipping.

If that link does not take you directly to the deal, just search for “Medieval Lord Ring” and you should be able to find it.

This beautiful gold-plated ring has the classic Elvish script, which I am not quite geek enough to rattle off. However, translated into English the ring reads:

One ring to rule them all,
One ring to find them,
One ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.

When ordering, be sure to select the appropriate size for your finger. You can order this ring in sizes 7, 8, 9, 10, or 11. If those sizes do not fit, you can always do as Mr. Frodo did and put it on a chain around your neck instead of wearing it around your finger. After all, you do want people to see you with this stylish ring, right? If I were ordering the ring just to wear on a necklace, I would probably order the largest size because I love large pendants. Besides, this ring used to grace Sauron’s finger. Just from looking at the guy, I think he had pretty big fingers.

While this is not part of the official licensed gear, it is a good deal for anyone who cannot afford to fork up the cash for that line. It also makes a fantastic gift for anyone who loves Tolkien and quivers at the mention of the next Hobbit movie (that is me). I would certainly love to sport this little treasure at the third Hobbit movie coming this December.

Tax is included in your purchase, so your total cost will only be $19. Be sure to enter your current valid address, as the ring will be shipped to the address you enter upon checkout. The ring will take about three to four weeks to ship once the deal has closed. This is not unusual, but maybe not the best option if you are looking for a gift for someone’s birthday in July.

Are you a fan of Tolkien?

Dealfind Canada: $15 For $30 Of Lindt Chocolate

Dealfind Canada: $15 For $30 Of Lindt Chocolate

Buy a Dealfind for $15 and spend it on $30 of delicious Lindt chocolate.

Perfect for Easter, simply buy the voucher, then take it in to one of many locations of Lindt Chocolate in Canada. The only time you can’t use this voucher is during midnight madness, but you are still getting a great deal anyway. I’m sure they will also have in-store sales that will tickle your fancy for which your voucher would be perfect for.

I was gifted a Lindt chocolate bar (giant sized) on the weekend and while I hoped to save it, I sat and ate the entire thing while waiting for my plane at the airport. It was so delectable and smooth, it really just melts in your mouth. You can’t help but going back for more and more. If this makes you not want to buy this voucher, think what a wonderful gift it would be for someone else, like a teacher or other service provider. They’ll think you spend a big amount on them, but you really only spent $15.

You also can’t buy 100g bars with this voucher, but like I said, all other items are fair game, including sale items. You have until April 2nd to spend it.

Dealfind Canada: $15 For $25 at Smoke’s Poutinerie

Posted by on February 12, 2014 at 11:30 AM

Dealfind Canada: $15 For $25 at Smokes Poutinerie

Snow, Canadian bacon, beavers and poutine. This is what people think of when they think of the true north – Canada. I’d have to say I’ve never seen a beaver (although I’ve seen a few moose), the snowbanks in my driveway are over six feet tall, I don’t often eat peameal bacon, but I do LOVE poutine. Lucky for me, Dealfind has a great deal on with a $25 poutine voucher for only $15.

I love poutine so much that there was this poutine truck on my way up north that was so good, I’ve on a number of occasions sent friends on a wild goose chase to find it. On snowy roads we searched with a “this looks familiar” map in my head, only to find it is only opened in the summer season. Such a bummer! Lucky for me, there is a Smoke’s Poutinerie in my city. The first time I had it, I wasn’t all that impressed. Then one evening in Toronto I had a bite of someone else’s and I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Delicious! I need to head back to my local one and give it another try. Screw the diet, this February weather deserves some comfort food!

There are quite a few locations you can use this voucher at, but check out the deal first before buying and make sure there is one near you. The majority of the locations are in Ontario, but there are some in most provinces. The only trick is that you’ll have to enter in your pick-up location at checkout, which also means this is where you’ll pick up your voucher. You also have to pick up by April 3rd, which is when they expire, but can’t pick up until after February 25th.

Dealfind Canada: $100 For a Gourmet Secrets Samplers Club Package (Value $420)

Dealfind Canada: $100 For a Gourmet Secrets Samplers Club Package (Value $420)

If you are scrambling for a last minute gift idea for a foodie in your life, this one is perfect! Dealfind is offering a Gourmet Secrets samplers club package worth $420 for only $100.

What you get with this deal is six sampler codes so you or your gift recipient can get six sampler boxes that are redeemable once every two months. You don’t have to order one of every box and it is possible to even order the same box all six times.

Here’s the different kinds of boxes:

Variety Sampling Box:

  • 2x5oz Lemon & Herb Natural Free Range Chicken Breasts
  • 2x 454g Natural Angus XXX Lean Ground Beef
  • 2x6oz Prime Pork Steaks
  • 2x5oz Wild Coho Salmon Steaks

Catch Of The Day Sampling Box:

  • 2x5oz Wild Mahi Mahi Portions.
  • 2x4oz Wild Haddock Loins.
  • 2x5oz Wild European Pickerel Filet.
  • 4x5oz Wild Pacific Snapper.

Natural Free Range Chicken & Turkey Sampling Box:

  • 500g Natural Free Range Chicken Filet.
  • 2x10oz Free Range Turkey Breasts.
  • 4x100g Chicken Souvlaki Kabobs.
  • 454g Free Range Ground Turkey.

Finger Food Sampling Box:

  • 16x100g Deluxe Chicken Fingers.
  • 750g Fully Cooked Hot or Honey Garlic Chicken Wings.
  • 5x100g Boneless Dry.

Seafood Sampling Box:

  • 4x3oz Natural Crab Cakes.
  • 4×10 Shrimps Scampi (40pcs)
  • 4 oz Rock Lobster Tail.
  • 500g Nordique Island Seafood Sauce (Shrimps,Lobster & Scallops in white wine sauce)

AAA Alberta Beef Sampling Box:

  • 2x4oz Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon.
  • 4x6oz Celiac Homestyle Angus Steak Patties.
  • 454g Extra Lean Beef Cubes.
  • 2×6 oz. Angus Ranch Steaks.

This sounds amazing because you are basically getting enough meat in a box to feed a family for a week, for an average cost of $17 a box. It also sounds like the meat is not just regular meat, but prime, free-range and wild too. I love sampler boxes but it makes me try stuff I may not have bought on my own to try, that I may just love. This also makes a wonderful gift idea for someone who may be down on their luck financially, because you know they really could use meat to feed the family, and some of the meat is a real treat (like the Rock lobster tails!). The recipient also gets to choose what they like, rather than you choosing, as you are giving them the codes (or you could choose and just input their shipping address).

Also, $1 of every voucher sold goes to the Canadian Diabetes Association, so this is the gift that gives back a little. Shipping is included in the cost, which makes this deal even that much better. The meat is shipped frozen and in a ice-packed chest in case you can’t pick up from your doorstep right away.

Dealfind Canada: Rainbow Loom Only $9

Rainbow Loom has taken the school-age set by storm! Get a DIY loom band kit for only $9 from Dealfind.

Kids have gone crazy over this bracelet making craze, both boys and girls. My boys would love to get something like this, as one of them is crafty, and the other is into wearing bracelets and giving them as gifts. I am looking hard at this deal. I just read an article about rainbow loom that said because it is so popular, stores were having a lot of trouble keeping it in stock. There are a few variations of this deal on.

  • $9 for a DIY Loom Bands Kit with 1200 Bands ($25 Value) – includes one hook, one S buckle package and a user manual
  • $12 for a DIY Loom Bands Kit with 600 Bands and a Weaving Machine ($25 Value) – includes one weaving machine, one hook, one S buckle package and a user manual

Dealfind Canada: Two Photobooks For Only $24

Get two Snapfish 8×11 20-page hardcover custom photo books for only $24 from Dealfind.

Click here to get this deal @ now

When I first saw this deal I wondered if they were going to be the identical books I’d get, but they are actually two custom books so this is a pretty amazing deal. Considering one book is $34.99, you are getting $70 worth of value for only $24. Snapfish does often have good deals like buy one, get one, but even if they had a BOGO deal, you’d still be spending an extra $10.

This deal is great for me because I have three kids and want to make them each their own books. For this cost, I am crazy not to.

You can buy three of these vouchers yourself (that’s six books) and three as gifts (would make an awesome teacher gift). Shipping is $6.99, payable when you do your book. You have until February 28th, 2014 to use your voucher, which means you have time to get all your Christmas pictures in the book.

Dealfind Canada: $18 For a Picaboo Photo Book

Dealfind Canada: $18 For a Picaboo Photo Book

We’ve had a few photobook deals lately, and this one is another good one for Picaboo. Buy the Dealfind to get a custom classic 11×9 hardcover photo book with 40 pages for only $18 (a $60 value).

Your voucher doesn’t expire until January, so this would make a great gift idea for that hard-to-buy-for person. Photo books are a nice, personal touch, but if you don’t have access to their photos or their memories, you can be out of luck. By getting this deal, you let them make their own book, in the style and theme they want, but without the cost. I love creating photo books so I wouldn’t say no to this deal!

The book you are getting is just classic, but there are lots of themes to choose from. I love that it is the hardcover version, because I think they are more durable and longer-lasting.

The deal doesn’t say anything about shipping, so I assume you’ll pay the regular shipping rates from Picaboo. Check our forum before you checkout, as there is a free shipping code in there right now, which could work. That would be quite the deal.

Dealfind Canada: $29 For Bluetooth Shower Speaker

Dealfind Canada: $29 For Bluetooth Shower Speaker

Dealfind has a good deal on a Bluetooth shower speaker, that is compatible with all your Apple and Android devices. Pay only $29 (tax included) and it has a $90 value.

As with any Dealfind deal, the link above takes you to the main page and you’ll have to find the speaker on your own. Hopefully it won’t be too tedious.

I searched out other Bluetooth waterproof speakers and couldn’t find one at this low of a price point. This is a generic unit with no brand name and no details on how great it works. I’d call this a cheapie speaker. This is the type of speaker you won’t mind getting a bit of rough use, since you are paying less than $30 for it.

It has a suction cup to attach to the shower wall, but you can also use it wherever you like, including at the beach or pool, where it might get wet, but its ok.

You can get it in blue, green, yellow or pink and all of its technical details are listed on the deal.

Shipping is $9.

I also blogged about this stay in a castle for $699. The expiry date got extended, so you have another day to get this. You can definitely use the coupon for this deal too, and you’ll save a whoping $69.90 extra, making the stay in the castle only $629.10 now.

I don’t know when this coupon expires, but keep a watch on Dealfind for any deals you’d like and get another 10% off.
