Comixology: Entire HELLBLAZER Run For 99 Cents/Issue + FREE Comic!

Comixology: Entire HELLBLAZER Run For 99 Cents/Issue + FREE Comic!

You can buy every issue in the 25 year long Hellblazer series for only 99 cents per issue. That’s 50% off 300 comics! How can you perform this wizard feat? Why, with Comixology, of course.

I haven’t done a lot of Comixology deals as of late because they have been mainly on Marvel and DC franchises that everyone knows, like Batman and Captain America. While those are fine, I like featuring some of the smaller publishers like Vertigo and their 25 year long Hellblazer series. Now, before some comic nerd comments, I know Vertigo is part of DC, but it is an imprint that focuses specifically on more adult comics instead of the flashy superhero comics that are getting turned into movies. While Vertigo isn’t exactly struggling, they are often overlooked by some of the more casual readers.

As I mentioned, Hellblazer has been running for 25 years and, as of last month, is over. It ran for 300 issues. That is an amazing feat for any media property. From the Bloody-Disgusting.com description of the final issue:

It’s the heart-rending conclusion of “DEATH AND CIGARETTES”—and the end of Vertigo’s longest running series. John Constantine has escaped, cheated, narrowly avoided and even reversed death on multiple occasions over the past 25 years. Now, we will test whether the old boy has one more second chance in him. Don’t miss this epic, oversized special issue celebrating everything that makes John Constantine so bloody unique.

If you aren’t impressed by the 25 year history, check out the first issue for FREE.

Comixology: Steel & Firestorm for 99 cents an issue!

Comixology: Steel & Firestorm for 99 cents an issue!

Comixology is celebrating Black History Month by offering up sales on some great comics with black superheros.

This is a “half off” sale so the original price was $1.99 and you save $1 making your grand total 99 cents! Not a bad deal for some awesome comics. Actually, I’m just guessing that Firestorm comics are awesome since I’ve never read any of them. I have, however, read a few Steel comics when I was a kid and they were great.

One of the best things about Comixology is their apps. You can buy and read the comics on your computer but they are so much better on a tablet or phone. The app, for me, really is the main reason I buy through Comixology. I especially like the ability to swipe through the comic pane-by-pane instead of page-by-page and having to zoom in and out all the time. You can even buy right from the app. Very convenient.

NCIX.com: LEGO on Sale + Free Shipping (Save up to $45)

NCIX.com: LEGO on Sale + Free Shipping (Save up to $45)

That’s right! NCIX is selling LEGO now. Your kids want it so why not get it cheaper and have it sent to your house for free? Bargainmoose loves you!

Here are a few of the LEGO deals available:

A couple of things right off the bat: the free shipping is on select items only. I’m not sure which ones, but I’m willing to bet it is valid for the smaller LEGO sets only. The 1254 piece Millennium Falcon might not be free. The sale is only good while supplies last and there aren’t many available to start with. Keep in mind that the quantities you see on the first link I posted, the one that goes to the page with all the LEGO on it, has the quantities that they started with. You’ll need to click into the actual product to see current stock.

I know, I know, LEGO isn’t tech and it isn’t gaming, but it really is cool! Plus, almost all this LEGO is nerdy LEGO. On top of that it’s sold by NCIX, a tech store. Like I said, this is all nerdy LEGO. There are no tribal volcanoes or race cars here, kids. It’s almost all Star Wars and super heroes. You or your kids may be familiar with the very popular LEGO video games which are, in large part, based on the Star Wars and Batman universes. This would be a cool way for you and your kids to experience the same properties you play on screen, in meat space.

It seems like this is a new thing for NCIX and the low quantities make me thing it’s just a test. So Bargainmoose, this is your chance to change something. Sell them out of LEGO and maybe we’ll get some awesome LEGO deals from NCIX for years to come! The fact that NCIX is selling it at all leads me to think that they aren’t really aiming these towards kids, but rather towards adults who want to play with LEGO or parents who want their kids to play with Star Wars LEGO. I assume, of course, that these parents would have just as much fun “helping” their kids play with the LEGO as the kids themselves would.
