Davids Tea Coupon: Free Tea for One ($22.50 Value) with $100 Purchase

Davids Tea has some of the sweetest teas you can imagine. Spend $100 on tea and accessories to receive a free Tea for One set worth $22.50.

Click here to shop @ Davids Tea Canada now

  • Coupon Code: TEAFORONE
  • Discount: free Tea for One Set
  • Expiry: 5th April 2015

You DO NOT need to add the Tea for One set to your cart. It will automaticly add to your cart when you apply the coupon code. Combine this freebie with sale items for the best deal overall.

My partner just received his order of 250 g of Sleigh Ride. While it is not one of my favourite teas, it is a bold fruity tea with kernels of popcorn. I love the way popcorn adds an interesting flavour to tea. The 250 g bag of Sleigh Ride is currently 40% off. Originally $37.50, the tea is on sale for $22.50. Into the cart it goes.

Do you love eggnog? Then pick up these gorgeous Eggnog tea on sale for 50% off its original price. The 250 g bag of eggnog was $43.50, and is now on sale for $21.25. This tea features white chocolate and any tea with chocolate in it deserves a place in my tea drawer.

Did you know that Davids Tea makes candles? I am pretty stoked about these tea-scented candles because I like the smell of Davids’ teas even more than I like the taste! This Forever Nuts candle would be a favourite of my partner because he loves that tea. I think it was one of the first cans of tea we actually finished – though Birthday Cake is a close tie. originally $19.50, the candles come down to $11.70 in my cart. Pick up Santas Secret as well.

With so much tea, you need a way to take it with you when you go out. Choose from the Snowy Village Stainless Tumbler or the Birds Snowflakes Stainless Tumbler. Each originally retailed for $14.50, and comes down to $8.70 in your cart.

Now, I found a glitch with this coupon code. Once your cart totals $100 or more add the coupon code and the tea pot will be added on for free. You can then remove items from your cart – and the free Tea for One set stays.

Davids Tea Coupon: Free Tea for One ($22.50 Value) with $100 Purchase

I managed to take my cart down to the mid $60 range, but if I went lower the tea set dissipated. I think it is calculating the $100 pre-discount (for sale items) – but only when you get up to $100 first, add the coupon code, then remove stuff from your cart.

Receive free shipping on $50 or more.

Davids Tea: 40% off Tea & Free Tea with $75 Purchase ($15 Value)

Posted by on February 4, 2015 at 3:30 PM

Davids Tea: 40% off Tea & Free Tea with $75 Purchase ($15 Value)

Enjoy 40% off select loose tea and tea sachets at Davids Tea right now. Also, when you spend $75 or more (before discount), you will receive a free tin of Cocomint Cream Tea worth $15.

While I love loose-leaf tea, it is rather inconvenient for travel or mornings where I am in a rush. Introducing tea sachets – or rather tins full of tea sachets ready for you to grab and go. An appropriate portion of tea is encased in each sachet for optimal tea brewing. Grab one, stick it in your hot water, and you are ready to go! There are four tea sachet tins on sale right now. All tea sachet tins originally cost $9.50, and are now on sale for $5.70.

Each tin has a different quantity of tea sachets in it. The Snickerdoodle provides the best value per sachet with 20 sachets. At only $5.70 for the sachet tin, you are paying just $0.28 (28 cents) per tea if you buy the Snickerdoodle. That price per tea bag assumes the tin is free.

For the loose-leaf fans, there are plenty of teas to choose from. The sale loose-leaf teas are sold in bulk: 250 g a package. Chai on Life is a nice warm white tea with all the traditional spices of a chai. 250 g retails for $52.50, but after discount, you will only pay $31.50.

Out of the loose leaf teas on sale, my favourite is Sleigh Ride. It is a yummy holiday themed tea with apple, hibiscus, pineapple, cinnamon, and my favourite ingredient – popcorn. Originally $37.50 for 250 g, the tea comes down to $22.50 after the discount is applied in your cart.

Now, the beauty of this deal is your cart must total $75 before discount. See my cart below:

Davids Tea: 40% off Tea & Free Tea with $75 Purchase ($15 Value)

As you can see, the free Cocomint Cream 100g bag and free tin (worth $15) are automatically added to my cart because my before discount total is $75. After discount, I am only paying $45.30 for a huge amount of tea with $15 worth for free. This is an extraordinary offer from Davids Tea and I really hope you take advantage of it. I just wished I actually liked Cocomint Cream tea – I might just have to give that away to a friend or family member.

Boxing Day 40% off Tea & Accessories @ Davids Tea

Posted by on December 26, 2014 at 5:45 PM

Boxing Day 40% off Tea & Accessories @ Davids Tea

What is a cold winter’s day without a spot of tea? Davids Tea just started their 40% off Boxing Day sale with loads of teas, tea sets, and accessories discounted. If you are a loose-leaf tea drinker, then this is a sale you will not want to miss.

My top pick from the sale is this three-tin boxed set of David’s Winter Favourites. Originally $29.50, the tea comes down to $17.70. Three flavours in beautiful refillable tins are included in this kit:

  • Cocomint Cream (80 g / 2.8 oz)
  • Apple Custard (80 g / 2.8 oz)
  • Bubbie’s Baklava (80 g / 2.8 oz)

In total, you receive 240g worth of tea. This is one of the best deals as your price per gram of tea is the lowest as you are buying in larger quantities.

I think the kits are the best way to go if you are an occasional tea drinker or want to buy something for a friend. In my opinion, the ideal kit to give yourself or others is The Perfect Tea Kit. Enjoy 124 grams in total of Coco Chai Rooibos, Cream of Earl Grey (Organic), and Forever Nuts. Coco Chai Rooibos is one of my favourite teas and Forever Nuts is my husband’s favourite – they are both amazing teas. A perfect tea mug with fine mesh infuser and lid is included in this set. Originally $39.50, the Perfect Tea Kit comes down to $23.70.

If you want just a cup as you are swimming in tea already, then there are plenty to choose from. Candy Canes will sweeten your year and change colour when your tea is at the perfect temperature. Originally $14.50, this mug will only cost you $8.70 when you add it to your cart. It is one of the cheapest mugs you can purchase. The Candy Cane mug comes with a stainless steel infuser that is worth about what you are going to pay for the complete set.

You can also purchase loose-leaf tea at 40% off. Here are some of the flavours on sale:

Even some older teas in the sale section from around Thanksgiving are currently 60% off their retail price when you add them to your cart.

I need to remind myself not to buy tea like every month, and instead save up for deals like these. I really want that Winter Favourites kit as I am dying to try Bubbie’s Baklava. Receive free shipping on orders of $50 or more.

Davids Tea: 5 for $50 Rainbow Tins & Free Shipping & Free Samples

Posted by on December 5, 2014 at 2:30 PM

Davids Tea: 5 for $50 Rainbow Tins & Free Shipping & Free Samples

Rainbow tins retail for $14.50 each at Davids Tea. Currently you can purchase five tins for $50, saving you $4.50 per tin, for a total of $22.50 saved. All orders of $50 or more receive free shipping so this deal will also ship for free. In addition, you will receive three free samples with your order.

While there is frequently a rainbow tin deal in store, often these deals do not translate to their online store. The online selection of rainbow tins is far better than my local store so there is an added incentive to shop online. Here are some teas I recommend:

Coco Chai Rooibos – One of the best chai teas I have ever tasted. This chai balances spice and sweet for the best cold weather tea you could imagine. Newbies to chai tea will appreciate the smooth base devoid of that bitter aftertaste that some chai teas are guilty of leaving.

Birthday Cake – This is a household staple that I just cannot go without drinking. For the ultimate sugar kick in a cup without the calories, you need to get yourself some birthday cake. For this tea, you will need a very fine mesh or bag strainer as it has some very tiny particles that regular balls just will not catch. This is my all around sugar fix tea.

Some of the rainbow tins never available at my local store include the Coco Chai above, and these teas I am dying to try:

I am not sure if they are not popular enough for my store to bring in or if they are so popular that they sell out before I get there. If you are shopping in store for this deal, then you will also receive a gift box for your five rainbow tins.

There is another in store deal I wanted to mention. Today is the last day to go in store and purchase two 100g servings of bulk tea to receive a free 100g of equal or lesser value. This is a good deal, so give it some thought if you are heading out today. Most the teas I want are available in the rainbow tins, which would be cheaper to buy then purchasing in bulk.

Davids Tea: Free Shipping ALL Orders & Gift with $75 Purchase Coupon (EXPIRED)

Davids Tea usually has a $50 minimum for free shipping, so this free shipping with no minimum deal is all sorts of cool for Cyber Monday. In addition, when you purchase $75 or more worth of stuff, you will receive a free 12oz Timolino worth $29.50.

Click here to shop @ Davids Tea Canada now

  • Coupon Code: FREETIMOLINO
  • Discount: Free timolino ($29.50 value) with $75 purchase
  • Expiry: 1st December 2014

The free shipping is automatic but for the free Timolino you need to use the Davids Tea coupon code. Do not add the product to your cart; the coupon code will do that for you.

I found a cool way to combine a few promotions to maximize savings. Right now, Davids Tea has a buy 2 for $30 offer on three delectable holiday collectible tins of tea. You can choose from:

What I found out is you do not need to have these in perfect pairs of two – as long as you have two or more they will come down to $15 each, thus saving you $4.50 per tin. After discovering this, I loaded up my cart with tins (go eggnog!) and this is how it looked:

Davids Tea: Free Shipping ALL Orders & Gift with $75 Purchase Coupon (EXPIRED)

As you can see, though I have an uneven number of tins in my cart, all of then received the same discount. I saved $22.50 and received a free Timolino worth $29.50 and free shipping. The extra eggnog tea tins will make great Christmas presents!

Even if you do not hit the $75 minimum for the free Timolino, the free shipping with no minimum promotion at Davids Tea is worth your time. I have never seen this offer at Davids Tea before. I suggest hitting up the web specials section and picking out some treats. The Pie Collection is $19.50 but comes down to $11.70 at checkout. It includes Lime Gelato, Strawberry Rhubarb Parfait, and Blueberry Jam.

The Take Me to India black tea collection also looks delicious. Also priced at $19.50, it comes down to $11.70 in your cart. Enjoy Assam Banaspaty, Second Flush Darjeeling, and Pure Chai. This set also comes with one pack of 20 tea filters.

With all online orders at Davids Tea, you will also receive three free samples of tea. This is a great way to try new teas as they have so many it is nearly impossible to try them all.

  • Expiry: 5th October 2014

David’s Tea is my favourite place to buy tea because I have one local, where I can go in and smell each tea, and they often offer discounts on their seasonal teas. I recently picked up two new teas while I was in store, while getting a refill on one I had run out of recently.

The first new tea I purchased was Garcinia Goodness. It is an organic pu’erh tea with orange peel, hibiscus, garcinia, and more in it. It tastes like honeysuckle to me, which is odd, as the tea does not have any of those flowers in it. The tea was chosen for its metabolism boosting powers as garcinia and pu’erh are both known for giving your metabolism a little push in the right direction. I figure my metabolism can use all the help it can get. 50g retails for $8.50.

The second tea I bought has been a bit of a disappointment after one pot. I love the smell of Cinnamon Heart, also a pu’erh tea, but it was just not strong enough upon first brew. Essentially, it did not taste like the glorious tea I smelled. Perhaps I made it too weak the first time, so my next pot will be stronger and brewed for longer before I take a cup. The tea smells like cinnamon hearts and I want to taste like it too. This tea is also $8.50 for 50g. When you purchase 100g of any tea, you will receive a free tin.

I also found a new tea I am dying to try once one of my current supplies run out. Snickerdoodle smells like heaven – a really sweet and sugary heaven. It is the kind of tea I would love to keep me warm on a cold night. It is certainly going on my must buy list. This tea is only $7.50 per 50g.

David’s Tea offers free shipping on orders of $50 or more. For this and future David’s Tea coupon codes, visit our forum.

Davids Tea: 40% Off Summer Sale

Posted by on August 13, 2014 at 9:30 PM

Davids Tea: 40% Off Summer Sale

Davids Tea Canada has started their end of summer sale with 40% off select mugs, teas, tea collections, and more.

All discounts are applied at checkout, thus the price currently shown is before discount. I was looking at this Oolong Blue Steeper (36oz) in store recently as a way to make iced teas during the hot summer months. It allows you to steep your tea for as long as you need and then transfer the contents to your cup, through the bottom, while filtering out all the tealeaves. It is super cool and holds a decent amount of tea (1 litre). Originally $29.50, the steeper comes down to $17.70 in your cart.

If you are looking for a nice summer tea to steep, then you must try one of the special summer only carnival flavours. The limited edition Root Beer Float Carnival Box full of tea might just be your new best friend and you will curse Davids Tea for not having it around for longer. It smells exactly like its name suggests, and you will receive 100g for only $8.70, originally $14.50 a box.

If you are looking for four of the sweetest cups to ever be made, check out the Noble Cups set by Davids Tea. These four multi-colour cups are both practical and adorable. Each 300ml cup comes with a bamboo lid to keep your tea warm until you wish to drink it. When you do have a drink, the cup doubles as a coaster. The outside of the cups is white while the inside of each cup is a different colour: light blue, dark blue, yellow, and green. I really like the yellow one and the way the cups look as a set. Originally $14.50 for the set, they are on sale for $8.70.

Choosing teas can often be hard, there are just so many wonderful flavours to pick from. The Chai Collection is a great way to sample three different chai teas without committing to a larger container. Chai teas are one of my favourites, especially on cold fall and winter evenings. Originally $12.50, the set comes down to $7.50 in my cart.

If you are a Frequent Steeper, make sure to use the same email address you used to sign up when you checkout so you will receive your points. Remember, $1 = 1 point.

Davids Tea offers free shipping on orders of $50 or more.

Davids Tea Canada: 50g Free Tea With Travel Mug Purchase ($7.50 Value)

Posted by on July 30, 2014 at 2:00 PM

Davids Tea Canada: 50g Free Tea With Travel Mug Purchase ($7.50 Value)

Receive 50 grams of tea for free when you purchase a Davids Tea travel mug. If you purchase in store, you can choose whichever tea you like. If you buy online, you will receive 50g of their new summer tea: Cotton Candy.

I was just in DavidsTea a few days ago smelling their newest summer tea scents. The cotton candy smells delicious and I highly recommend the Carmel Corn (which I bought) as they are only available till the end of August. 50g of Cotton Candy costs $7.50, but you will receive it free with your travel mug purchase. Travel mugs start at $9.50.

I am also excited about this promotion because a tea travel mug has been on my wishlist for a while. I do not drink coffee and I try to avoid hot chocolate (mmm… sugar), so my warm beverage of choice is tea. I drink primarily loose-leaf teas, so I would love to be able to take my tea to go.

For a basic travel mug, you can purchase The Iconic Cup for $14.50. It is a ceramic version of the DavidsTea cup you all know. As an added bonus, whenever you get this cup filled at your local Davids, you will receive 10% off your drink. Unfortunately, this mug doesn’t come with a strainer, so it would be best to use only if you have bag teas or buy the little bags for sticking loose leaf tea into.

I want an inexpensive tea mug with a built in mesh infuser, so this Balloons Double Wall Stainless Tumbler is my first choice. The mug costs $19.50 and has everything a girl needs to brew and drink a good cup of tea on the go. Make sure to remove the infuser before you drink your tea though… nobody likes a mouth full of tea leaves.

There are plenty of fancier mugs as well. I want this Bodum Travel Mug because you do not have to remove the infuser before drinking. You simply push down on the built in plunger and it pushes the leaves to the bottom so you can drink your tea without needing access to a garbage or compost for the leaves first. This is my type of mug and is priced at $34.50.

Receive free shipping on all orders of $50 or more. Offer excludes Mason Jar products. Receive three free samples with every order.

David’s Tea Canada: Free Tea For Kids On Sunday!

Posted by on July 12, 2014 at 8:00 AM

Davids Tea Canada: Free Tea For Kids On Sunday!

Head to a David’s Tea store this Sunday and your kids can get their tea on! All kids under 12 get a free tea. Yippee!

I’ve been trying to get my kids to drink tea for a while now. They guzzle the juice I buy them, which is full of sugar and pretty much nothing else, even though I buy the organic, 100% fruit juice. It gets expensive and I worry about their teeth and all the extra sugar they really don’t need. Tea, on the other hand is healthy and while not completely inexpensive, probably cheaper than juice. They love Nestea iced tea, which is of course full of sugar, so I didn’t think the switch would be this hard. But, I think taking them to David’s Tea this week, where they’ll be served a free tea might make them open their minds a little. And, if they try it and don’t want it, yay, free tea for me!

This isn’t just any tea, either. With flavours like magic dragon, cotton candy, root beer float and cherry snocone, the kids are bound to love them!

I noticed this really cute kids’ iced tea mug, which, if your kids happen to love the tea they try, you could get to make drinking tea even cooler for them. I love the little lemon guy on the side as it is childish, but mature enough that my older kids would use this cup.

Imagine days of sitting on your porch swing, drinking iced tea with your kids. I can’t wait for Sunday!

David’s Tea Canada: $1 Iced Tea Of The Day Refill With One Time Purchase Of Iced Tea Mug

Posted by on June 12, 2014 at 10:00 PM

Davids Tea Canada: $1 Iced Tea Of The Day Refill With One Time Purchase Of Iced Tea Mug

How do you feel about sipping on an iced tea every day of the summer for just one dollar? That’s right! David’s Tea’s $1 iced teas of the day refills are back, which means that if you bring one of their iced tea travel mugs, then you can get the iced tea of the day for just one dollar.

The iced tea travel mug is $14.50 and is surprisingly good quality. I have it and I have to admit that I was somewhat iffy about its effectiveness but it definitely keeps my iced drinks cool. What I like the most about it is that it has yet to leak in my purse, even though I have found it turned upside down countless of times.

It comes in a 160z (473ml) and features a silicone grip to ensure that you won’t drop it if too much condensation builds up on the outside. Even better is that you can also use it for hot drinks. I haven’t yet tried it out on anything hot, but judging by how good it is with cold drinks, I imagine it would be just as great at holding a hot drinks hot.

Although the description claims that this mug can handle anything thrown its way, I wouldn’t advise throwing it into the dishwasher. I have had one too many tumblers break because of the high heat from the wash cycle.

You can also get a kids’ iced tea mug for just $9.50.

Every week, David’s Tea releases a list of their tea of the day for the week on their Facebook page, so be sure to check it out to plan your week! Davids Tea Canada: $1 Iced Tea Of The Day Refill With One Time Purchase Of Iced Tea Mug

Shipping is free on orders over $50, so it would be a good idea to grab a couple of teas while you’re getting your mug. My favourite is the hot tropic tea, which just so happens to be their tea of the month right now. It’s the perfect tea to brew over ice as its main ingredients are mango and coconut, which provide for a refreshing blend. Although you can get 50g for $7.50. if you get 100g for $15, then you will also get a free tin.Plus, each order also qualifies for 3 free samples of tea.

David’s Tea: Free Tea of The Day For Nurses & Nursing Students

Davids Tea: Free Tea of The Day For Nurses & Nursing Students

If you are fancying a tea today and are a Nurse or Nursing student, get it free by simply walking into any David’s Tea.

While I don’t see how you prove your status as a nurse, this deal includes nurses, nursing students and PSWs. All of these lovely people need to be thanked for the thankless work they often do. David’s Tea recognizes this and wants to give you the ultimate mini comfort of a cup of tea!

I’ve had many nurses in my life and while I’ve had my share of ones I’ve never met, some of them were literal lifesavers. I’ll never forget the nurses who helped me through the birth of my first child and coincidentally one had the first name of my maternal grandmother and the other had the first name of my paternal grandmother. I thought it was a sign. I had a c-section, so required quite a bit of care and understanding with a first baby and they weren’t just there to do the medical stuff, they helped me emotionally and practically.

I’m not sure what kind of tea you’ll get free, but David’s Tea has so many different kinds and flavours from white, green, black to rooibos and herbal. Take a break today and head on in! The chocolate macaroon sounds divine!

Although I have never been a fan of having to reach a certain minimum threshold in order to get a freebie or for a discount to apply, both of these offers are still pretty awesome considering that while the tea infuser usually retails for $12.50 and the mug for $19.50.

Though I’m one of those who loves having a variety of different and unique looking mugs, I have to say that in this case, I’m more inclined to pick the infuser because it also comes with a lid to keep your tea hot while it steeps as well as a saucer for placing the infuser once your tea is ready.

Keep in mind that if you choose to shop online, then your order will also incur no shipping fees since David’s Tea automatically applies free shipping to all orders over $50.

Davids Tea Freebie: Wear Green On March 17th To Get A Free Tea Of The Day

If you will be passing by a David’s Tea tomorrow on March 17th 2014, then make sure to swing by to get a free tea of the day! Since it’s in celebration of Saint-Patrick’s Day, the only requirement is that you wear something green.

Just like Teavana, David’s Tea is one of those stores that I can never simply walk past without going inside and not only because of their constant outpouring of samples, but also because of all the unique looking tumblers, tea accessories etc.

All this to say that if you have yet to give them a try, then you should make it a point to swing by on Saint-Patrick’s Day. Just don’t forget to wear green! In case you don’t have anything green, then you could try something as simple as a green scarf, hair elastic or maybe even nail polish. I’m fairly certain that the green guideline can easily be sidestepped!

Since it changes on a weekly basis, if you’re wondering what tomorrow’s tea of the day is going to be, then make sure to check David’s Tea Free Tea of the Day Facebook tab tomorrow before going in as it’s updated every Monday.

Speaking of which, did you know that they also frequently release coupons for discounts and freebies when shopping online at their site? Be sure to check for all David’s Tea promotional codes on the Bargainmoose forum!
