Davids Tea: 40% Off Summer Sale

Posted by on August 13, 2014 at 9:30 PM

Davids Tea: 40% Off Summer Sale

Davids Tea Canada has started their end of summer sale with 40% off select mugs, teas, tea collections, and more.

All discounts are applied at checkout, thus the price currently shown is before discount. I was looking at this Oolong Blue Steeper (36oz) in store recently as a way to make iced teas during the hot summer months. It allows you to steep your tea for as long as you need and then transfer the contents to your cup, through the bottom, while filtering out all the tealeaves. It is super cool and holds a decent amount of tea (1 litre). Originally $29.50, the steeper comes down to $17.70 in your cart.

If you are looking for a nice summer tea to steep, then you must try one of the special summer only carnival flavours. The limited edition Root Beer Float Carnival Box full of tea might just be your new best friend and you will curse Davids Tea for not having it around for longer. It smells exactly like its name suggests, and you will receive 100g for only $8.70, originally $14.50 a box.

If you are looking for four of the sweetest cups to ever be made, check out the Noble Cups set by Davids Tea. These four multi-colour cups are both practical and adorable. Each 300ml cup comes with a bamboo lid to keep your tea warm until you wish to drink it. When you do have a drink, the cup doubles as a coaster. The outside of the cups is white while the inside of each cup is a different colour: light blue, dark blue, yellow, and green. I really like the yellow one and the way the cups look as a set. Originally $14.50 for the set, they are on sale for $8.70.

Choosing teas can often be hard, there are just so many wonderful flavours to pick from. The Chai Collection is a great way to sample three different chai teas without committing to a larger container. Chai teas are one of my favourites, especially on cold fall and winter evenings. Originally $12.50, the set comes down to $7.50 in my cart.

If you are a Frequent Steeper, make sure to use the same email address you used to sign up when you checkout so you will receive your points. Remember, $1 = 1 point.

Davids Tea offers free shipping on orders of $50 or more.

Davids Tea Canada: 50g Free Tea With Travel Mug Purchase ($7.50 Value)

Posted by on July 30, 2014 at 2:00 PM

Davids Tea Canada: 50g Free Tea With Travel Mug Purchase ($7.50 Value)

Receive 50 grams of tea for free when you purchase a Davids Tea travel mug. If you purchase in store, you can choose whichever tea you like. If you buy online, you will receive 50g of their new summer tea: Cotton Candy.

I was just in DavidsTea a few days ago smelling their newest summer tea scents. The cotton candy smells delicious and I highly recommend the Carmel Corn (which I bought) as they are only available till the end of August. 50g of Cotton Candy costs $7.50, but you will receive it free with your travel mug purchase. Travel mugs start at $9.50.

I am also excited about this promotion because a tea travel mug has been on my wishlist for a while. I do not drink coffee and I try to avoid hot chocolate (mmm… sugar), so my warm beverage of choice is tea. I drink primarily loose-leaf teas, so I would love to be able to take my tea to go.

For a basic travel mug, you can purchase The Iconic Cup for $14.50. It is a ceramic version of the DavidsTea cup you all know. As an added bonus, whenever you get this cup filled at your local Davids, you will receive 10% off your drink. Unfortunately, this mug doesn’t come with a strainer, so it would be best to use only if you have bag teas or buy the little bags for sticking loose leaf tea into.

I want an inexpensive tea mug with a built in mesh infuser, so this Balloons Double Wall Stainless Tumbler is my first choice. The mug costs $19.50 and has everything a girl needs to brew and drink a good cup of tea on the go. Make sure to remove the infuser before you drink your tea though… nobody likes a mouth full of tea leaves.

There are plenty of fancier mugs as well. I want this Bodum Travel Mug because you do not have to remove the infuser before drinking. You simply push down on the built in plunger and it pushes the leaves to the bottom so you can drink your tea without needing access to a garbage or compost for the leaves first. This is my type of mug and is priced at $34.50.

Receive free shipping on all orders of $50 or more. Offer excludes Mason Jar products. Receive three free samples with every order.

David’s Tea Canada: Free Tea For Kids On Sunday!

Posted by on July 12, 2014 at 8:00 AM

Davids Tea Canada: Free Tea For Kids On Sunday!

Head to a David’s Tea store this Sunday and your kids can get their tea on! All kids under 12 get a free tea. Yippee!

I’ve been trying to get my kids to drink tea for a while now. They guzzle the juice I buy them, which is full of sugar and pretty much nothing else, even though I buy the organic, 100% fruit juice. It gets expensive and I worry about their teeth and all the extra sugar they really don’t need. Tea, on the other hand is healthy and while not completely inexpensive, probably cheaper than juice. They love Nestea iced tea, which is of course full of sugar, so I didn’t think the switch would be this hard. But, I think taking them to David’s Tea this week, where they’ll be served a free tea might make them open their minds a little. And, if they try it and don’t want it, yay, free tea for me!

This isn’t just any tea, either. With flavours like magic dragon, cotton candy, root beer float and cherry snocone, the kids are bound to love them!

I noticed this really cute kids’ iced tea mug, which, if your kids happen to love the tea they try, you could get to make drinking tea even cooler for them. I love the little lemon guy on the side as it is childish, but mature enough that my older kids would use this cup.

Imagine days of sitting on your porch swing, drinking iced tea with your kids. I can’t wait for Sunday!

David’s Tea Canada: $1 Iced Tea Of The Day Refill With One Time Purchase Of Iced Tea Mug

Posted by on June 12, 2014 at 10:00 PM

Davids Tea Canada: $1 Iced Tea Of The Day Refill With One Time Purchase Of Iced Tea Mug

How do you feel about sipping on an iced tea every day of the summer for just one dollar? That’s right! David’s Tea’s $1 iced teas of the day refills are back, which means that if you bring one of their iced tea travel mugs, then you can get the iced tea of the day for just one dollar.

The iced tea travel mug is $14.50 and is surprisingly good quality. I have it and I have to admit that I was somewhat iffy about its effectiveness but it definitely keeps my iced drinks cool. What I like the most about it is that it has yet to leak in my purse, even though I have found it turned upside down countless of times.

It comes in a 160z (473ml) and features a silicone grip to ensure that you won’t drop it if too much condensation builds up on the outside. Even better is that you can also use it for hot drinks. I haven’t yet tried it out on anything hot, but judging by how good it is with cold drinks, I imagine it would be just as great at holding a hot drinks hot.

Although the description claims that this mug can handle anything thrown its way, I wouldn’t advise throwing it into the dishwasher. I have had one too many tumblers break because of the high heat from the wash cycle.

You can also get a kids’ iced tea mug for just $9.50.

Every week, David’s Tea releases a list of their tea of the day for the week on their Facebook page, so be sure to check it out to plan your week! Davids Tea Canada: $1 Iced Tea Of The Day Refill With One Time Purchase Of Iced Tea Mug

Shipping is free on orders over $50, so it would be a good idea to grab a couple of teas while you’re getting your mug. My favourite is the hot tropic tea, which just so happens to be their tea of the month right now. It’s the perfect tea to brew over ice as its main ingredients are mango and coconut, which provide for a refreshing blend. Although you can get 50g for $7.50. if you get 100g for $15, then you will also get a free tin.Plus, each order also qualifies for 3 free samples of tea.

David’s Tea: Free Tea of The Day For Nurses & Nursing Students

Posted by on May 12, 2014 at 10:00 AM

Davids Tea: Free Tea of The Day For Nurses & Nursing Students

If you are fancying a tea today and are a Nurse or Nursing student, get it free by simply walking into any David’s Tea.

While I don’t see how you prove your status as a nurse, this deal includes nurses, nursing students and PSWs. All of these lovely people need to be thanked for the thankless work they often do. David’s Tea recognizes this and wants to give you the ultimate mini comfort of a cup of tea!

I’ve had many nurses in my life and while I’ve had my share of ones I’ve never met, some of them were literal lifesavers. I’ll never forget the nurses who helped me through the birth of my first child and coincidentally one had the first name of my maternal grandmother and the other had the first name of my paternal grandmother. I thought it was a sign. I had a c-section, so required quite a bit of care and understanding with a first baby and they weren’t just there to do the medical stuff, they helped me emotionally and practically.

I’m not sure what kind of tea you’ll get free, but David’s Tea has so many different kinds and flavours from white, green, black to rooibos and herbal. Take a break today and head on in! The chocolate macaroon sounds divine!

Although I have never been a fan of having to reach a certain minimum threshold in order to get a freebie or for a discount to apply, both of these offers are still pretty awesome considering that while the tea infuser usually retails for $12.50 and the mug for $19.50.

Though I’m one of those who loves having a variety of different and unique looking mugs, I have to say that in this case, I’m more inclined to pick the infuser because it also comes with a lid to keep your tea hot while it steeps as well as a saucer for placing the infuser once your tea is ready.

Keep in mind that if you choose to shop online, then your order will also incur no shipping fees since David’s Tea automatically applies free shipping to all orders over $50.

Davids Tea Freebie: Wear Green On March 17th To Get A Free Tea Of The Day

If you will be passing by a David’s Tea tomorrow on March 17th 2014, then make sure to swing by to get a free tea of the day! Since it’s in celebration of Saint-Patrick’s Day, the only requirement is that you wear something green.

Just like Teavana, David’s Tea is one of those stores that I can never simply walk past without going inside and not only because of their constant outpouring of samples, but also because of all the unique looking tumblers, tea accessories etc.

All this to say that if you have yet to give them a try, then you should make it a point to swing by on Saint-Patrick’s Day. Just don’t forget to wear green! In case you don’t have anything green, then you could try something as simple as a green scarf, hair elastic or maybe even nail polish. I’m fairly certain that the green guideline can easily be sidestepped!

Since it changes on a weekly basis, if you’re wondering what tomorrow’s tea of the day is going to be, then make sure to check David’s Tea Free Tea of the Day Facebook tab tomorrow before going in as it’s updated every Monday.

Speaking of which, did you know that they also frequently release coupons for discounts and freebies when shopping online at their site? Be sure to check for all David’s Tea promotional codes on the Bargainmoose forum!

David’s Tea: 3 for $30 Special Tea Tins (Save $7.50)

Posted by on February 10, 2014 at 11:30 PM

Davids Tea: 3 for $30 Special Tea Tins (Save $7.50)

David’s Tea Canada has a special in store and online offer where you get three tins of tea for $30 instead of paying $12.50 each. That saves you $7.50 overall.

There are twelve tins of teas included in this offer. I am all for trying organic detox tea which i heard actually tastes good when i was in David’s this weekend. Who does not need a detox after the holidays? It includes fantastic ingredients like rooibos, sencha, ginger, ginkgo, lemongrass, and juniper berries. I know that ginger is suppose to be very good for the immune system and if i didn’t hate the taste of it so much I would eat it more. However, I might be willing to try it out in tea.

For me the real attraction of this sale is the Birthday Cake Rainbow Tin. This tea is the best tea in the world. It is certainly the best tea I have ever tasted in my life and has firmly taken the position of #1 tea ever! It is like a dessert in a cup (that is only 10 calories by the way). It smells decadent and it has freeze dried ice cream and sprinkles as two of its ingredients. Hello? Taste buds calling: thank you for such a wonderful tea! I need this in my house at all times.

This is a great sale and saves you a good amount of money. Get free shipping on orders of $50 or more. Given how bulky tea (and accessories) are, that is a great deal.

With our last great installment of gift ideas A-Z (check out Gifts A-F, Gifts G-L, Gifts M-S), we now present you with T-Z.

As a well-known tea lover, this makes the absolute perfect gift. David’s Tea has a tea of the month club, which is great for you last minute shoppers, because it starts being delivered in January. You’ll get free samples with every order from them.

Something that everyone, and I mean everyone, needs is underwear. I find especially with men, they don’t shop for their underwear and new ones make a great gift, so they can throw out those ratty old ones. Gregg Homme is a very sexy men’s underwear store (look at your own discretion), with a great sale section.

If personalized and custom gifts are your thing, check out Vistaprint, which has a wide range of customizable gifts for friends, family, co-workers and employees. We have a coupon right now for up to $100 off your order.

Of course, the gift I think is the most perfect is WaySpa gift cards, which are printable, so you can get them even on Christmas Day for those last minute gifts. Check out the Bargainmoose forum for coupons for up to 22% off those gift cards.

There are a number of great deals at XSCargo, and Christmas is no exception. Everything from loom bands to blenders to tablets are on sale.

When we had the letter I, we gave ice cream, but what about the healthier alternative of frozen yogurt? Check out this frozen yogurt machine at Amazon, now $11 off.

And for a really last minute gift idea, magazines from Zinio are perfect. They have a sale on right now with 50% off their most popular titles.

Happy shopping Bargainmoosers! I hope you find everything you need this Christmas!

DavidsTea Canada: Up to 66% Off Loose Leaf Tea

Davids Tea Canada is offering up to 66% off select loose leaf tea online. They actually have a very nice selection of teas on sale for 40% off or more, so it is not just the occasional tea, which is a good deal.

We are just getting back into loose-leaf tea after my husband’s boss bought him a tea called Buddha’s Tears that smells like heaven in a can. I forgot how amazing loose-leaf tea is and how bagged tea just always falls short. The problem with loose leaf is that it seems expensive, but these deals will help with the cost:

As far as how much you actually get, 250g will give you 100 cups of fabulous tea!

There are many more yummy tea deals. All tea deals this good are final sale, though.

I am just dying to try that cookie dough. I have a major sweet tooth that is never satisfied, so I love everything super sweet. When I walk into a tea shop, I ask them for their sweetest tea. I wonder if cookie dough would be my ticket to eternal tea bliss.

Enjoy free shipping on orders of $50 or more.
