(65% off) Snugli Harnessed Booster Seat now only $84.31 & Free Shipping @!

Over the weekend, we set up some absolutely fantastic exclusive coupon codes for Bargainmoose, with discount amounts ranging from $40 to $150, depending on how much you are spending. I had a browse round the site to see what I could see, and there are plenty of deals to be had. One item in particular is standing out to me because I was on the lookout for a deal on something similar – it’s the Snugli Harnessed Booster Seat which is currently priced at $124.31 on, which is a 48% discount. But when you use our coupon code MOOSE40OFF100JULY to get an extra $40 off $100, the car seat drops to only $84.31, which is a 65% discount on the original price!

Remember, everything from comes with free shipping too! So you’re looking at less than ninety bucks for a top brand name, safe, car seat for your little one. Though this Snugli car seat comes in different patterns, the deal on this one is for the pin stripe model. It’s pretty gender-neutral in my opinion – you could use this for either a boy or a girl.

What I like about this seat is that it will last you for a long time, as it can be used as a harnessed booster seat as shown in the image above. But you can also remove the harnesses and use it in conjunction with your car seat belt, for when the child is a little older and bigger. The weight range for safe use of this car seat is 40 to 110 lbs, so you can see that the car seat will be useful for quite a while. My little 2 year old daughter is in a very similar seat at the moment, using the harness portion. When she’s heavy enough, I can remove those harnesses and use the seat belt instead, as I did with my older daughter.

Upgrade to Camo!

If you are so inclined, you can opt for the camo pattern in the same Snugli car seat here. It’s slightly more expensive, coming in at a final price of only $97.40 with free shipping, by using the coupon code above. For the sake of the extra $13, you might prefer that pattern.

Today Only! Safety 1st OnBoard 35 Car Seat Was $162 | Now $80 & Free Shipping @ Best Buy Canada **BUMP**

Today Only! Safety 1st OnBoard 35 Car Seat Was $162 | Now $80 & Free Shipping @ Best Buy Canada **BUMP**

*Bumping as this deal is back on again for today only. Grab one before it is gone!

Best Buy has a great sale price today on the Safety 1st OnBoard 35 Infant Car Seat. This seat was $161.99 but is now on sale for $79.99, today only. You will also receive free shipping with this purchase as it meets the minimum requirement of $25.

Best Buy is really pushing their home, baby and beauty line with some great deals lately. This Safety 1st infant car seat is no exception. Before my kid was born, I fretted over what car seat was safest. In the end while not all car seats not created equal, the technology of the leading companies is similar overall. Safety 1st is a known brand that provides many products focused on keeping babies and small children safe.

This particular car seat seems to have been available in many different colours for the seat cover. It is a basic model that seems to be comparable to the Graco Snugride. This seat does work for preemies, which not all seats do. On the low end of the weight limit, this seat will accommodate a baby who weighs as little as 4 lbs. They also note that this seat comes with more legroom than most. If your family is on the tall side, this might be what you need. This seat easily clicks in and out of the base, allowing you to transport your infant easily when they fall asleep in the car. You will also have a one-year warranty on the parts for this seat.

This car seat comes in several different patterns and variations. Other than the pattern on the car seat, cover there does not seem to be many differences comparing the specs side by side. Here is what I found from some of the other retailers.

There are three recent reviews on Best Buy’s website. I noticed the reviews have a higher rating and more reviews at some of the competing retailers. One user noted that the seat is not new on the market, so her car seat expiration was four years instead of six years. I think the only way you can get around that is buying a new seat that is newer on the market. The safety regulations do change quickly, and car seat expirations do not last long to ensure your baby is in the safest seat possible. Here is a happy reviewer.

I have compared many types and brands for my babies car seat, and nothing beats the quality and price of this particular one. I have recommended it to everyone.

If you need a new infant seat, this is a sure bet. You are getting a quality brand car seat that will keep your bundle safe plus a few extra features such as the extra legroom. At this price, it also makes a great second car seat for grandma’s car.

Best Buy Canada: 40% Off Evenflo Big Kid DLX Jonah Booster Car Seat – Now Just $57 & Free Shipping

Best Buy Canada: 40% Off Evenflo Big Kid DLX Jonah Booster Car Seat Now Just $57 & Free Shipping

Has the time come to get a booster seat? At Best Buy, you can get the Evenflo Big Kid DLX Jonah booster car seat for just $56.99. It was originally priced at $94.99, which means that you’re looking to save $38 but only until the end of the month. Shipping is free as well as Best Buy ships orders over $25 for free.

Designed for kids ages from 48 months to 96 months, this booster car seat is more specifically suited for kids under 49.8kg in weight and under 145cm in height.

It’s Transport Canada certified and tested in accordance with all of the crash test standards, which is great and all but do you want to know what makes this car seat truly awesome sounding? It has built-in speakers.

I’ll let that sink in for a moment: built-in speakers — how cool is that? This means that no matter how short or long the ride is, your kid could entertain himself by playing games or watching movies on a tablet. Gone are the days of: “are we there yet?” We live in a tech world and this is definitely a pretty nifty feature!

Out of 10 ratings, this booster car seat has a total of 4/5 stars with reviews like this one:

We love our new car seat. The special feature of speakers and lights is great for long trips.

In fact, only one reviewer rated this car seat 1/5 stars but didn’t even provide a review.

Plus, it also has dual-activity lights on the headrest that allow kids to read or colour in full brightness without these distracting whoever is driving. Keep in mind that these do require two AA batteries that aren’t included.

Another very convenient feature that any parent is sure to love is that the car seat pad is machine washable. Plus, the plastic and metal parts can easily be wiped clean with mild soap and water — or you can just use a baby wipe like I do! Best Buy Canada: 40% Off Evenflo Big Kid DLX Jonah Booster Car Seat Now Just $57 & Free Shipping

At, this same booster car seat is currently sold out but was on sale for $74.99 (reg  $99.99) and at Walmart, it’s currently priced as high as $95.

April 18 40% Off Blue Banana Urban Pod in Pink – Now Just $55 & Free Shipping (EXPIRED)

Posted by on April 18, 2015 at 2:30 PM 40% Off Blue Banana Urban Pod in Pink Now Just $55 & Free Shipping (EXPIRED)’s Overstock Sale is back and browsing the various reduced items, I spotted a great deal on the Blue Banana urban pod in pink. Originally priced at $92.96, it’s now on sale for just $55, which is significantly less than the price it’s going for at other stores! Shipping is free as well.

At the very end of’s description of this pod, there is a very interesting note:

Note: Car seat not included.

I found this absolutely hilarious and it just made me wonder the kind of complaint that they may have received from a customer who didn’t receive their “expected” car seat. They’re probably just covering their bases to avoid any unhappy customers but it was still funny to read that note!

Summer is upon us and this is a winder pod but it would be perfect for all those of you who are currently expecting or know someone who is. A lot of parents switch from the bucket seat (pictured above) to the convertible car seat that always stay in the car early but a lot of bucket seats can actually be used until the baby is one year old or more. In fact, my car seat can hold up to 30 lbs and we’re still using it even though our baby is nearly one year old! The reason I mention is because even if you’re baby was recently born or is about to be born, then this cover could potentially be used this winter. 40% Off Blue Banana Urban Pod in Pink Now Just $55 & Free Shipping (EXPIRED)

Any baby sure to not get cold in this thing as it features ultra-soft sherpa fleece on the inside. It has a no slip back panel and a full zipper to keep baby in place. Interestingly enough, it also comes with a fully functional thermometer and a pacifier pouch. While the pacifier pouch definitely seems handy, I’m not so sure about the thermometer, but it’s still a cool feature.

As I already mentioned, the Blue Banana urban pod is significantly more expensive at other stores:

Evenflo EuroTrek Travel System Now Only $100 & Free Shipping @ (EXPIRED)

Posted by on January 23, 2015 at 8:30 AM

Evenflo EuroTrek Travel System Now Only $100 & Free Shipping @ (EXPIRED)

A combo pack with kids gear? Yes, please! The Evenflo EuroTrek Travel System is now only $100 @ Walmart offers free shipping with no minimum every day, on every item. A travel system is a big item to ship and the free shipping really seals the deal.

There is an excitement in the air when you are a new parent as you prepare for the big arrival. Check one more thing off your list to buy with the Evenflo EuroTrek Travel System. This combo pack includes a rear facing Evenflo bucket car seat designed to hold a baby up to 35 pounds. Down in the Q&A, a Walmart representative says the minimum weight limit is 5 pounds. This car seat includes a 5 point harness system to keep baby snug and secure.

The stroller includes a weight limit up to 40 pounds, which would still fit my 3 year old. Another great feature is a one handed folding system. A pivoting snack tray also allows kids to get in an out easily or to dump those crumbs on the go. There is also a parent consul by the handle to stash a drink or other small items. That parent consul is more important than it seems. I ended up buying a soft consul to Velcro onto my stroller since my Britax did not have that feature and paid about $30 bucks for it. The colour looks to be a yellow or green colour but most consumers are reporting it to be green in colour.

I did a little price checking on this item and it seems this particular pack is not sold often anymore. Amazon has it for $337 and it only qualifies for free shipping if your sign up for their Amazon Family discount program. Sears has a comparable Evenflo Flexlite travel system in green but get ready to shell out $229.49 for that make and model.

Reviews are a mixed bag on this travel system. People either praise it as being the next best thing to sliced bread or are thoroughly unimpressed. One person complains the stroller is too long and bulky while another claims it goes in and out of their Honda Civic with ease. Most reviewers agree they like the sun shades and that the system folds easily.

Now do not be fooled, folks. Whether you enjoy being a parent or not is not the fault of the stroller. Your life changes usually changes a bit after you have children. Someone should have clued in this UK Dad. He seems a bit bitter now that he is selling his own “green albatross” double stroller on Ebay as mentioned by The Yummy Mummy Club. He waxes on and on about how for “just £9.99 you too can screw up your life.” His humour is a genius stunt, as last I checked bids were over £156,706.00 on ebay. There are still 4 days to bid if you want to own his stroller.

Buy this stroller from Walmart instead. This travel system will come with better karma and the price tag is much better.

$70 Off Evenflo Triumph LX Convertible Car Seat @ Toys R Us Canada – Now $100

Posted by on January 17, 2015 at 5:00 PM

$70 Off Evenflo Triumph LX Convertible Car Seat @ Toys R Us Canada Now $100

Have you been shopping around for a car seat? The Evenflo Triumph LX convertible car seat in on sale for just $99.97 at Toys R Us. It was originally priced at $169.99, which puts it at a $70 discount (over 40% off).

According to the description, it’s recommended to be used as rear-facing for up to 40lbs and forward facing for toddlers between 22 and 65lbs. This isn’t a recommendation I would follow too closely, except for using this car seat only until a maximum weight of 65lbs because my little one is 8 months, weighs 20lbs and yet is nowhere ready to be forward-facing as Transport Canada recommends keeping children rear facing as long as possible.

Here’s a review I found for it:

I ordered this two weeks ago from toys r us. I did so much research and went and looked at many car seats but honestly wasn’t impressed with any of the more expensive seats. I found them very awkward looking and not enough padding and cushion. When I saw the triumph on sale at toys r us I ordered one immediately. I love it, my husband loves it and most importantly my daughter loves it.

In short, it features:

  • Infinite harness slide adjustment (makes it easy to get child in/out)
  • 5-point hardness system
  • TensionRight knob at the side
  • ReclineRight: seat is adjustable to either an up or reclined position
  • Adjustable headrest
  • Pads and pillow are both removable and washable

As for a price comparison, the Evenflo Triumph LX is nearly $145 everywhere else. Sears is selling it for $144.49, while at Costco, it’s $149.99. Both websites also boast positive reviews for it, just like Toys R Us’ site. Here’s a review that someone posted on Costco’s site:

Bought this car seat for my grandson and we have been very happy with it. The seat is comfortable and plush great for long travel trips. It’s sturdy and easy to install. It fits in my small car with room for the front passenger to sit comfortably .

Since a $10 shipping discount is applied at checkout, you will only pay $8.62 to have it shipped straight to your home. It’s unavailable for in-store pickup.

I also found the Baby Trend EX Flex lock infant car seat on sale for $99.97, up from $149.99. It’s not a convertible car seat like the Evenflo but could be a great car seat to start out with as it’s good up to 22lbs.

Amazon Canada: $45 Off Diono Olympia Car Seat & Free Shipping – Now Just $255

Amazon Canada: $45 Off Diono Olympia Car Seat & Free Shipping Now Just $255

I was browsing around Amazon’s Deals Store and stumbled on a great deal on the Diono Olympia cat seat in shadow. Originally priced at $299.99, you can now get it for just $254.99, along with absolutely free shipping.

The Diono Olympia car seat is a convertible booster seat that can be used for up to 49.90kg (110lbs). It has a 5-point harness and has been NCAP crash tested.

Reading about the specs is great and all but it also has the reviews to prove its worth. There are 35 reviews with a general consensus of 4.5/5 stars with positive comments like this one:

Overall I love this seat. It is narrow, easy to get my child into and comfortable for her. It is quite heavy, but not impossible to carry. I almost bought the next model up, but after reading some reviews where kids hate their head supports in it, I decided on this. So happy I did. This is definitely the seat to buy once your child outgrows the infant carriers.

Don’t like the Diono Olympia in black? No worries, there are plenty more Diono car seats to save on:

  • Diono Olympia seat graphite in grey/black: was $299.99/ now $254.99
  • Diono Pacifica seat sunburst in orange/grey: was $339.99/ now $288.99
  • Diono Pacifica sea graphite in grey/black: was $339.99/ now $288.99
  • Diono Pacifica seat shadow in black: was $339.99/ now $288.99
  • Diono Rainier seat shadow in black: was $379.99/ now $322.99
  • Diono Rainier seat glacier in blue/grey: was $379.99/ now $322.99
  • Diono Rainier seat graphite in grey/black: was $379.99/ now $322.99
  • Diono Rainier seat orchid in purple/black: was $379.99/ now $322.99
  • Diono Rainier seat houndstooth in black: was $379.99/ now $322.99

They all come with free shipping as well.

Just to give you an idea, I had a look around at Toys R Us’ site for Diono car seats and the cheapest one I found is the Diono RadianRXT on sale for $305.97 (reg. $359.99). It’s a different model from the ones being sold at Amazon right now but in comparing the specifications, they’re nearly identical with the main difference being that the RadianRXT holds less weight, has an included cup holder and can be folded flat. You’re basically paying more for the bells and the whistles but the safety of the seat remains unchanged.

The only Diono Pacifica car seat I found at Toys R Us is the one in shadow black and it’s currently regularly-priced at $339.99, whereas at Amazon, you can get it for just $288.99. Another point to mention about shopping for a car seat at Toys R Us is that unless you pick it up in-stores, you would need to pay shipping fees.

Future Shop Canada: Evenflo Big Kid DLX Jonah Booster Car Seat | Was $100 Now $50 (EXPIRED)

Hey there, my fellow deal hunters! Future Shop’s daily deal is for an Evenflo Big Kid DLX Jonah Booster Car Seat, which normally costs $99.99, but today you can get it for $49.99! You’ll also qualify for free shipping, which is always a nice bonus! Having a safe car seat for your child is crucial, and especially nowadays when there have been so many recalls for older car seats, it’s very important to purchase a newer car seat from a respected and reputable company, like Future Shop.

This Evenflo Big Kid DLX Jonah Booster Car Seat has plenty of great features. You can easily adjust this car seat to 6 different heights,   It even has integrated activity lights (with two light settings; 2 AA batteries required), which can allow your child colour, read, and relax when it’s getting dark outside. This great booster car seat also has built-in speakers, and 2 elastic cup holders.

The Evenflo Big Kid DLX Jonah Booster Car Seat supports forward orientation only in your backseat, and it’s specifically for children that are 48 to 96 months, with a maximum height of 145 cm and weight of 49.8 kg.

This looks like one cool booster seat! The fact that it has integrated speakers can make it convenient for your child to listen to their own music, and I really like the integrated activity lights feature. It can certainly help keep them occupied, relaxed, and satisfied during those long trips!

If you were to purchase this Evenflo Big Kid DLX Jonah Booster Car Seat from Best Buy, it would cost you $99.99. It’s also $95 at WalMart. I’ve included a snippet of a review from a satisfied WalMart customer below:

I received this car seat as gift for my son and he loves it. When we travel on the road, the built in lights are great as my son loves to read. Also, the speakers are great, too.

This deal expires before midnight, so check it out now before it’s gone! I hope you all enjoy the rest of your day today, my fellow Bargainmoosers!

Future Shop Canada: Safety 1st Comfy Carry Elite Infant Car Seat | Was $100 Now $40

Posted by on October 30, 2014 at 10:39 AM

Future Shop Canada: Safety 1st Comfy Carry Elite Infant Car Seat | Was $100 Now $40

Future Shop has done it again – they have an intriguing deal of the day for a product that you wouldn’t even think they’d carry! It is a web-only deal, so that may be one of the reasons why most people wouldn’t expect them to carry infant car seats, like this Safety 1st Comfy Carry Elite Infant Car Seat. It normally sells for $99.99, but today you can purchase this infant car seat for $39.99! You’ll also qualify for free shipping, which is always a nice bonus!

This Safety 1st Comfy Carry Elite Infant Car Seat certainly looks like one cozy car seat! It has a 5-point harness, side-impact protection, a lightweight carrier, and even an aajustable canopy that can help protect your child from the sun. You can learn more about this infant car seat by clicking on the link above.

Since it’s so important to have newer infant car seats, especially since they do so many tests to ensure that they’re perfectly safe, this is a notable deal. Most people will tell you about the dangers of older infant car seats that were manufactured before a specific date, so make sure that you avoid purchasing one that’s used or that was given to you.

If you were to purchase this Safety 1st Comfy Carry Elite Infant Car Seat from Best Buy today, it would cost you $99.99. Listed below is a brief review of this infant car seat from a satisfied Amazon customer:

We purchased this car seat because it’s lightweight and reasonably priced, with good safety ratings. It’s easy to install and easy to use. While most friends of mine have fancier car seats, they constantly complain about how hard their seats are to carry (with babies under a couple of months old), and admire the size and weight of this one. I don’t see any reason to purchase an infant car seat with a higher weight capacity if you can’t carry it.

Limited quantities are available, so check out this deal when you have a chance. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your Thursday!

Future Shop Canada: Evenflo Triumph LX Convertible Car Seat | Was $170 Now $100 (EXPIRED)

Good morning, Bargainmoosers! Future Shop is currently having an intriguing deal on their Evenflo Triumph LX Convertible Car Seat – it normally retails for $169.99, but you can get it today for just $99.99! With $70 off of the retail price, you just can’t ignore this deal. You’ll also qualify for free shipping!

The Evenflo Triumph LX Convertible Car Seat can accommodate children that weigh anywhere from 5 to 65 pounds. You can read more about the specific details of this car seat by clicking here.

If you know anyone that’s planning to have a child, this would be a great gift for the holidays. It appears to have some great reviews online, and it does exactly what it’s advertised to do: it helps keep children safe in a vehicle. It looks great, too.

If you were to purchase this Evenflo Triumph LX Convertible Car Seat at Sears, it would cost you $144.49, and it retails for $169.99 at Toys R Us. I found a review from a satisfied Sears customer that I think you should all read – I’ve included it below:

I bought this car seat about a year ago. I was recently in a terrible accident with my son. We were hit from the side by a tractor trailer. He was able to walk away from the accident with not even a seat belt bruise. After the crash we checked the car and the seat didnt move one bit. The seat belt has always been easy to use and after this accident I know it does that job. I am buying the same one.

This sale ends today, so check this out while you still can. I hope you all enjoy your Thursday!

Toys R Us Canada: Snugli Harnessed Booster Car Seat Only $136

Posted by on August 16, 2014 at 10:00 AM

Toys R Us Canada: Snugli Harnessed Booster Car Seat Only $136

Toys R Us has a great online only deal on the Snugli Harnessed booster car seat, now only $135.97, with a regular price of $265.99.

This deal is on the camo fabric, which I think is great for a girl or boy as it is black and grey and white. I think it’s also a good pattern of fabric to hide stains, which inevitably happen in the car seat. This is a two in one booster car seat, which means you can use it as a car seat or a booster seat, just don’t forget that each car seat has an expiry on it and it doesn’t mean it will last your child’s whole buckled-in life. You’ll have to check what Snugli’s limits are for car seats and booster seats.

It also has Outlast technology on the fabric, which means it regulates temperature, which is awesome. There is not too much worse than hearing “I’m hot” from the backseat. This seat starts with children who are a minimum of 22lbs, which my oldest has far surpassed at age one.

Besides looks and comfort, this is also a safe seat that has SureLatch, one-hand, six-position height adjustment and an adjuster that turns green when the top tether is securely tightened, so you know you are doing it right.

I looked around for comparable prices and only found higher ones like from, which has this seat on sale for $172.49. Otherwise, I didn’t see it at any other Canadian stores. In general, this is a great price for a car seat/booster seat.

Shipping is going be $10 off, and for me came to about $25, which still makes it cheaper than’s price (which includes shipping).

I found various reviews online, which were good, stating the cupholders were handy and the fabric kept them cool/warm when they needed to.

Babies R Us Canada Freebie: Free 3-Pc Car Seat Accessory With Purchase Of Any Britax Car Seat ($50 Value)

Posted by on July 20, 2014 at 10:00 PM

Babies R Us Canada Freebie: Free 3 Pc Car Seat Accessory With Purchase Of Any Britax Car Seat ($50 Value)

Shopping for a car seat? Toys R Us has a great freebie going on right now: with purchase of any Britax car, you will also get a free 3-piece car accessory value pack.

Valued at $49.99, the Britax 3-piece car accessory value pack comes with:

  • a vehicle seat protector
  • an EZ-Cling window shade with 30+ UPF
  • a full-size kick mat

Just the other day, I was driving with my little one in the backseat and I had to make sure that the sun wouldn’t be beaming down on her in full force from our positioning in the parking lot. Whether I was being overprotective or not makes no difference but a window shade could have definitely simplified the whole process of driving around with her in the back. In fact, I have often found myself trying to shield her from the sun as hubby drove and I was in the backseat with her.

Although this accessory pack may not seem worth it to those of you shopping around for an infant car seat, I actually wish I could have taken advantage of such a promotion when I was shopping around for a car seat, just to have all of these items for when the time came to officially switch car seats to a forward facing one.

I particularly like that the window shade has a 30+ UPF to protect little ones from the damaging rays of the sun. In general, this accessory pack has some pretty great reviews, like this one:

All you would need to protect your car and toddler from each other. The mat is very rugged and can withstand a beating. The kick mat looks sleek and blends in with the car’s seats without wanting attention. The UV protector on the window is clingy and doesn’t fall like some other brands.

The only other place I found this value pack at is at Amazon’s Marketplace and even there, it’s actually $79.99.

As for shipping rates, I individually added the Britax B-Safe infant car seat at $199.99 and the Britax Pinnacle CT Harness 2-Booster for $399.99 and the fee stayed the same at $40 ($50 minus a $10 discount automatically applied). The car seat accessory value pack was also automatically added at checkout.

Best Buy: The Eddie Bauer Pilot Stroller Travel System is $199.99 ($130 Off)

Posted by on April 18, 2014 at 7:30 PM

Best Buy: The Eddie Bauer Pilot Stroller Travel System is $199.99 ($130 Off)

You can pick up the Eddie Bauer Pilot Travel System (car seat and stroller) from Best Buy for $199.99 through April 19.

If you’re in the market for a new infant car seat and stroller, the Eddie Bauer Pilot Travel System at Best Buy is definitely worth checking out. This travel system normally sells for $329.99 but is $130 off right now. I did a little price checking and discovered that this is a pretty hot deal, since the same system currently sells for $369.99 at Sears, $329.99 at Babies R Us, and a whopping $393.96 at Almost makes me wish I had another baby on the way so I could justify buying one. Almost.

Back when I did need a stroller, I didn’t purchase a travel system, but wished I had. The convenience of being able to take your sleeping baby right from the car and into the stroller without unstrapping and waking him/her is a real plus. I also really like the look of this stroller. With it’s oval shape and modern colour scheme it has some of the flair of the higher-end stroller systems, but without the higher-end prices.

The sun canopy, multi-position recline, and lightweight frame are also handy features in a stroller. Particularly the lightweight frame, I used to walk everywhere with my son when he was in a stroller, and once I added a diaper bag and groceries I was grateful I hadn’t chosen a large heavy model (especially when he started to get bigger and heavier, as we live at the top of a large hill!).

Quantities are limited on this item and the discounted price is only available through April 19, so best to shop soon if you’re interested.

This item will ship for free.
