Canon Canada: EOS Rebel T3 with Lens & Kit Only $299 & Free Shipping (EXPIRED)

Canon Canada: EOS Rebel T3 with Lens & Kit Only $299 & Free Shipping (EXPIRED)

Canon Canada has discounted the EOS Rebel T3 DSLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm DC III lens to $299 with free shipping just because of box damage. This camera retails upwards of $379 at other retailers.

This camera has been down to this price before, but that was way back in March as you can see from Eva’s post. Like last time, quantities are limited. This camera comes with a kit so you are not left out in the cold with your camera body and lens. You will also receive a battery, battery charger, eyecup, wide strap, and interface cable.

I price compared this camera with Canadian competitors. Here is what the camera would cost you if you bought it at any of these fine retailers:

  • $379.98 @ Walmart Canada
  • $449 @ Newegg Canada
  • $446 @ Amazon Canada
  • $399.99 @ Dell Canada

As you can see, you are saving at least $80 off Walmart’s price and maybe even more. It is not clear if Walmart’s camera comes with the kit so you are potentially getting a better deal at Canon. Either way, this is a very nice sale. Even though the box is damaged, the camera itself is in new condition and still comes with the full manufacturer’s warranty.

If you pick up some accessories to go with your camera, then you can use coupon code CANON15ACC to receive 15% off the accessories. You might want to buy a case for your new DSLR as it can be somewhat awkward just carrying it around your neck all the time. In addition, you do not want to scratch up the lens or accidentally drop your camera. You may also want an extra battery for longer journeys where you might not have access to power. We had an extra battery for our previous DSLR and it was a welcome addition to our trip to Iceland. Twelve-hour day trips did not afford time to recharge a battery.

While everyone has a camera in their phone these days, I truly believe in getting a good quality camera for those special moments. A DSLR can capture detail, clarity, and colour that your phone camera cannot. A DSLR camera is also amazing for action shots where other cameras will leave you with blurry images.

The Source Canada: Canon Pixma Photo Printer Was $50 Now $20 & Free Shipping!

Posted by on November 23, 2014 at 11:02 AM

The Source Canada: Canon Pixma Photo Printer Was $50 Now $20 & Free Shipping!

If you’re on the lookout for a budget printer, consider the great price on this Canon Pixma IP2700 Photo Printer which is currently on sale in The Source outlet sale. Originally priced at $49.99, it’s now only $19.99! That’s a steal. The Source Canada: Canon Pixma Photo Printer Was $50 Now $20 & Free Shipping!

How to get free shipping: make sure that once you add the above Canon printer to your shopping cart, you apply The Source coupon code TS499 which gets free shipping on ANY order (well, a $4.99 discount on any shipping fees). With this free shipping coupon code from The Source, the coupon code should work on anything, in case it’s not just this printer you want to purchase.  Here’s some basic info about this particular model:

  • 7 black pages or 4.8 colour pages per minute
  • 4800 x 1200 print resolution
  • Auto Photo Fix II
  • 12 months warranty

I googled for reviews of this Canon Pixma IP2700 and Amazon was the first result, of course. They have a number of consumer reviews on this particular model, but they’re not very high (mostly 2 to 4 stars). Obviously for $20, you’re not going to get the most amazing printer in the entire world, you DO pay for what you get.

If you’re thinking of using this printer a fair bit, then make sure you check for the price of inks in the future. It’s likely that they will cost more than the printer itself! That’s pretty common with these basic entry-level printers, so keep it in mind. But, if you just need a cheap printer for some really basic tasks, this Canon printer could be just the ticket.

The Source Canada Coupon Code: Canon PIXMA MG2220 Photo All In One Inkjet Printer | Was $80 Now $20 + Free Shipping (EXPIRED)

Oh hey there, my fellow Bargainmoosers! The Source is currently having a great sale on their Canon PIXMA MG2220 Photo All-In-One Inkjet Printer, which you can now buy for just $19.96! This all-in-one printer normally retails for $79.99, so this is one fine deal, people! You can also enjoy free shipping when you use the coupon code below!

Click here to check out this deal @ Thesource.ca now

  • Coupon Code: TS4411
  • Discount: Free shipping
  • Expiry: Unknown

This Canon PIXMA MG2220 Photo All-In-One Inkjet Printer is perfect for anyone that just wants a new printer that can also make copies and scan photos. I typically buy cheap printers, so whenever I run out of ink, I end up buying another cheap printer. The reason why? Printer ink. I think printer ink can be pretty pricey, and rather than buying new black and colour ink when my printer runs out of it, I’d rather pay the same price (or sometimes less) by purchasing a new printer.

At $20, you can’t go wrong. I haven’t been able to find another all-in-one printer for this price this week, and I’m actually going to order this printer for my father once this article is published. He’s been having some printer issues (paper jams and all that fun stuff), so I think that this gift will put a smile on his face.

If you wanted to buy this Canon PIXMA MG2220 Photo All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Amazon, it would cost you $189.77. I’ve included a brief review of this printer from a satisfied The Source customer below:

I bought and use this printer mainly for the scanning features, and I print labels occasionally. Inkjets have expensive ink, so that is all I do (I am still on my original cartridge).

This may not be around for very long, so get it now! Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

Amazon Canada: Canon Imageclass D560 Laser Multifunction Printer | Was $350 Now $115 (EXPIRED)

Posted by on September 27, 2014 at 11:36 AM

Amazon Canada: Canon Imageclass D560 Laser Multifunction Printer | Was $350 Now $115 (EXPIRED)

This deal is hot, Bargainmoosers! It won’t be in stock for very long, so if you’re looking for a reliable laser printer that’s manufactured by a reputable brand, then you should order this Canon Imageclass D560 Laser Multifunction Printer while it’s still available. It normally retails for $349.99, but for a limited time you can purchase this from Amazon for $114.75 – you’re saving $235.24 on this deal! Plus, you’ll get free shipping with your order. That’s always a nice perk to purchasing anything over $25 on Amazon Canada.

The Canon Imageclass D560 Laser Multifunction Printer is a versatile machine that can help you reap the benefits of owning a laser printer. Though it prints in monochrome, if you only need to print documents, then this machine should be able to accommodate your needs. This machine also allows you to do 2 – sides printing, copying, and scanning. You can also put up to 250 sheets of paper in this machine at one time, so it’s quite the powerhouse.

I’ve been considering getting a laser printer for a while, and Canon is certainly a reliable brand. Even though print cartridges for laser printers can be quite pricey, it also takes a while for them to be fully depleted. They certainly last longer than your average ink jet printer cartridges. There are affordable options available – you can get a black cartridge for this laser printer for just $22.49 at 123inkcartridges.

This Canon Imageclass D560 Laser Multifunction Printer is currently $349.96 at Staples, so that shows you just how great this deal at Amazon really is. I’ve included a brief review of an older, cheaper model of the Canon Imageclass D560 (the D530) from a sastisfied Staples customer below:

My mother wanted a paper copier for in home use. At a great price and one cartridge that makes over 2,000 copies why not have it at home for personal use. Fairly easy to understand and use it was a great buy.

Get this while it’s still around, Bargainmoosers! I hope you all enjoy your weekend!

Staples Canada: Canon PIXMA Wireless All In One Colour Printer (MX922) | Was $200 Now $90 (EXPIRED)

Posted by on September 23, 2014 at 9:10 AM

Staples Canada: Canon PIXMA Wireless All In One Colour Printer (MX922) | Was $200 Now $90 (EXPIRED)

Looking for an affordable way to scan and copy your pictures and documents? The Canon PIXMA MX922 wireless all – in – one colour printer can do just that – and of course, you can use it as a printer, too! Normally retailing for $199.94, you can currently get it from Staples for just $89.94! Your order will also qualify for free shipping. This deal is only on for a limited time (it actually expires today), so get this while it’s hot!

With the Canon PIXMA MX922 wireless all – in – one printer, it’s no surprise that you can do so much with it. You can easily print, copy, scan, and fax documents with this machine (yes, there are still instances when you may need to fax documents or photos). It even has a 3″ LCD screen built into it so you can edit and print documents and photos on the fly, and you can have up to a maximum of a 9600 x 2400 colour dpi for high quality printing.

I personally have a wireless all – in – one printer, and I’m very satisfied with it. There are many times when I’ll need to scan documents, and a wireless printing solution is especially important in a condo, so it really suits my daily needs. Plus, you can’t go wrong with a Canon! Though I’ve had issues with several of my previous printers, I haven’t had any issues with my Canon all – in – one printer yet.

This deal at Staples is pretty impressive – after all, the Canon PIXMA MX922 printer sells for $183.10 on Amazon, and it costs $199.99 on Canon’s Canadian website. I’ve listed a brief review of this all – in – one printing solution from a satisfied Amazon customer:

This is a GREAT multifunction printer! It does it all – prints, scans, copies and faxes – and all wirelessly. It has two separate trays for loading paper and other media (printable discs, photo paper) and the print quality is extremely good. It was super easy to setup and works like a charm. The only drawback – it prints quickly but not at lightning speed.

This deal at Staples expires today, so if you’re looking for a new printer that has plenty of versatility, take advantage of this deal now! Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

Canon Canada: 10×30 IS Binoculars $360 (Save $72) & Free Shipping

Posted by on July 18, 2014 at 12:30 PM

Canon Canada: 10x30 IS Binoculars $360 (Save $72) & Free Shipping

Canon Canada has a great deal on binoculars for all of you bird watchers, people watchers or whatever watchers you are. Get the 10×30 IS binoculars for only $359.99, with a regular price of $431.99, saving you $72. Canon is also offering free shipping for the entire month of July, which is a very nice bonus.

I sometimes go and hang out on friend’s and family member’s boats. It is so relaxing just sitting there, letting the ocean waves relax me and my children, who seem to always fall asleep the second the boat leaves the marina. While I’m on the boat, I sometimes wish I had some binoculars to check out who is on shore, any birds passing by, and just see what’s going on around me. They’d also be great to use at concerts or sporting events when you have seats in the nosebleed section.

These 10×30 binoculars are affordable and give great optical performance. You can read the specs yourself, but I wanted to note that it says these are great to use especially if you wear eyeglasses (or sunglasses I’ll assume), which is a definite bonus for an eyeglass wearer like myself.

Best Binocular Reviews gave these binoculars a good review and you can read about the pros and cons before you buy.

I price compared and could not find a cheaper price for this set of binoculars anywhere. Amazon has them on for $407.85 and BHphotovideo has them on for $479.

If these binoculars don’t give you what you need, there are a whole slew of them on sale, including smaller, larger and all-weather, depending on what you need.

And because shipping is free, you might want to see what else Canon has to offer while the going is good.

Canon Canada: Up To $60 Off Pixma Printers & Bonus Free Paper

Canon has some sweet deals on for Pixma printers right now, with up to $60 off and you’ll get bonus free paper with your purchase.

The deal that gets you the most money off is on this Canon Pixma MG7120 in brown. It is a wireless inkjet photo all-in-one printer with superior photo printing performance. It can print photos up to 8.5″ x 11″ with amazing quality in both colour or black and white. You can even print on CDs and DVDs. There are so many other features available on this print. As a bonus, you’ll get 20 sheets of 8.5″ x 11″ SG-201 photo paper plus in semi gloss. This printer was $199.99, now $139.99, so you’ll save $60. I need a new printer for printing photographs and this may just be it!

The Canon Pixma MG2520 is a very low-cost printer, especially once you take another $20 off. It is great for both photos and documents and has a hybrid ink system for vivid colours or sharp text. It also comes with the bonus photo paper. It was $79.99, now $59.99.

Besides the two I’ve mentioned, there are two other mid-range printers available on sale.

Canon offers free shipping on all orders that are $14.99 or more so all of these printers would qualify and ship for free.

Canon Canada: EOS Rebel T3 Only $300

Canon Canada: EOS Rebel T3 Only $300

Get the Canon EOS Rebel T3 18-55 IS in black for only $299 because it has a damaged box. Price comparing, this item was $379.98 at Walmart and Amazon and $389.98 at Best BuyYou are saving yourself at least $80 because of a box.

I’m considering getting myself a new camera to replace my 8-year-old DSLR. I don’t know if this is the one, although I have a time goal as I’m taking a trip next month and really want a new DSLR. I’m usually partial to Nikon, but this deal is almost too good to pass up! This has everything I need like a 12.2 megapixel CMOS image sensor and a 63-zone, dual-lyaer metering system for the richest and most detailed photos. It also has HD video recording, which is very handy to have included.

I found a number of reviews online and found this camera to be likeable. It is light and easy to use and a good camera for the beginner photographer. This would make a sweet graduation gift for a high school or post-secondary student. It isn’t a car, but it is a $300 gift from the heart that you know they can use in this photo-heavy world!

This item will ship for free as Canon offers free shipping on orders over $15.

TheSource Canada: 50% Off Accessory Kit For Canon T2i, T3i, T4i or T5i ($50)

Posted by on November 15, 2013 at 6:30 PM

TheSource Canada: 50% Off Accessory Kit For Canon T2i, T3i, T4i or T5i ($50)

Get protection and power from Canon and The Source!

Normally this is $99.99, but you’re getting it for 50% off! You only pay $49.99. I can’t find the same item anywhere else, but there are similar deals for around $100 on other sites. This particular kit gets you a LowePro camera bag (which I hear are great) and an LP-E8 battery. The Source doesn’t mention the T5i in the title of the product, but it is compatible.

I don’t do photography, but I’m a big nerd and I constantly have some sort of technology in front of me. Invariably, it’s battery powered. The batteries always die and it’s a pain in the butt. Just last night, I left for work and my phone was at 22%. Normally, I remember to bring my four foot long charge cord, but I forgot it this time and only had a six inch cord that I use in my car. I could listen to stuff on my headphones, but I couldn’t really use the phone because it was tethered to my computer with a six inch cable. If I’d had an extra battery, I’d be all set. It’s the same thing with your camera. As for cases, well, when I’m done with my technology, it looks like it’s been used: full of dings, scratches and scuffs. If I was smart, I’d get a case: $50 to protect thousands of dollars of camera gear is a great deal.

Shipping starts at $4.99 and goes up from there depending on where you are and how fast you want it delivered, but you could also pick it up in store for free.

Amazon Canada: Canon EOS Rebel T3 12.2 MP DSLR Only $299

Posted by on November 12, 2013 at 3:30 PM

Amazon Canada: Canon EOS Rebel T3 12.2 MP DSLR Only $299

Amazon has a great deal on the Canon EOS Rebel T3 12.2 MP digital SLR camera with EF-S 18-55mm DC III Zoom lens. It is only $299, was $499. I priced compared and no store sold this camera at this price, with most at the $375 range.

Such a fantastic gift idea, the price of DSLRs have really come down. I got my first one eight years ago and it cost my husband about $1500 including a second lens and an exterior flash. That camera has seen better days and I’d love a new one! This is definitely wish-list worthy. As many of great Amazon deals have been selling out quickly, I wouldn’t wait too long if you’d like this camera. General features include:

  • High image quality and speed
  • High-speed and reliable 9-point AF system
  • Continuous shooting up to 3 JPEGs
  • ISO range from 100 – 6400
  • Quick control screen for easy operation

Shipping will also be free.

  • Discount: 15% off accessories
  • Expiry: 30th September 2013

Canon has a ton of great products including printers, point-and-shoot cameras, dSLRs, camcorders, professional camcorders and others. However, a lot of their great stuff can be made better or easier with accessories. Some of them need accessories to continue to function. There is nothing more annoying than to drop a bunch of money on an awesome new camera or lens only to have to turn around and drop more money on an accessory.

This 15% off coupon can help with that. You can get tons of accessories. For your printers you can get ink. Have an expensive camera lens? Pick up a case for it, or an extender, or replace that missing lens cap, or even get a lens hood to block out some light. Maybe it’s a new HD camcorder; You’ll want a bag to carry it around in, possibly a monopod or tripod to set it up on. There are tons of cool accessories and add-ons that you can pick up, and they have them for tons of products.

I’m getting my wife a new camera for Christmas, but if I wasn’t, I would probably pick her up an extra battery for her old Canon point and shoot. It’s getting a little old now, so the battery is lasting less and less each time she pulls it out, it seems.

Make sure you keep an eye on BargainMoose’s Canon Canada Coupon Code page for more deals!

Black’s Canada: DSLR Sale – Save Up To $500

Posted by on July 6, 2013 at 8:30 PM

Blacks Canada: DSLR Sale Save Up To $500

Ready to upgrade from your point and shoot, or get a better dSLR? Check out what Black’s Canada has to offer!

There are sixteen cameras available in this sale and they range from the entry level Nikon D3100 w. AF-S DX 18-55 VR (was $529.99 – Save $130 – now $399.99) all the way up to the super high end Canon EOS 7D w. 15-85 MM IS (was $2199.99 – Save $500 – now $1699.99). The sale includes Sony, Canon and Nikon cameras, so if you already have a dSLR, you can likely still use your lenses. If you don’t have a dSLR, I suggest Nikon. Why? I dunno. I’ve always liked Nikon for no reason at all.

It’s great that dSLRs are coming down in price like they are. It used to be that only the professionals would even look at a dSLR because they were so expensive. Now, an entry level dSLR cost what a point and shoot used to a few years back. I bought my wife a point and shoot a few years ago and I’m pretty sure it was around the $350 mark. Nowadays if you’re looking for a bit more kick to your pictures, you can put down just a little bit more cash and get yourself a really good camera.

Of course, a better camera won’t make you a better photographer, but having the right gear can’t hurt!

Shipping depends on what you buy, and where it’s shipped to.

Do you use a dSLR or a point-and-shoot or just your phone? Let me know in the comments below.

Canon Canada: Save on PowerShot SX Series (Up to $100 off)

Canon Canada: Save on PowerShot SX Series (Up to $100 off)

Have a big summer planned? Check out the great deals on cameras from Canon and capture the memories!

Besides the legitimately great deals on the cameras, you’re also going to get FREE shipping. I couldn’t find these cameras for sale much online in Canada but the prices on American sites are similar. So if you take in to account shipping and duty from the U.S. and the fact that it seems like American sites (Amazon.com, I’m looking at you) are usually cheaper than Canadian this is a pretty good deal.

Not all the PowerShot SX series cameras are on sale but most of them are and there are some really great deals here and a good range from basic to higher end gear.

I think the point-and-shoot camera market is going away because of cell phones but as of right now, phones just can’t cut it. I mean, yes, there are some awesome camera phones out there but they always seem to have something wrong with them. They’re slow, bad in low light, can’t do good video, etc… Using your phone as a camera also kills the battery. On most phones if the battery is low it’ll disable video or the flash or even inhibit the camera feature altogether. So until the technology catches up, the point-and-shoot camera is the way to go!
