Bargainmoose Contest: Win Sunglasses & Bag From Canadian Cartel!

*** Contest now closed, winner is Roxy! ***

In this week’s new Bargainmoose contest, I’ve got a couple of prizes from Canadian Cartel – the sporty daily deal site! One Bargainmooser will win a funky pair of sunglasses and a cool bag (both pictured above). The total prize value of the bundle is $105. Here’s a bit more info about the prizes:

1x FILTRATE CARLO MATTE BLACK/GREY SUNGLASSES with retail of $80

Stainless Steel, high quality, strengthened hinges. 100% UV Protection, with high quality polycarbonate for a more optically correct lens (light weight and provides high impact resistance). Polarised polycarbonate lenses block out 99% of the polarised light waves, (water, snow and the road), while also blocking 100% of the harmful UV(UVA UVB & UVC) rays. High quality polycarbonate memory flex injected frames. Filtrate uses only high quality materials in all our frames to survive the good times and the bad.

1x OUTBOUND Video Bag Large 19 x 18 cm – Black with retail of $25

Zipped fold over closure, fully padded, 3 pockets / 1 organizer style, interior lens compartment.

And a bit about Canadian Cartel – we’re seen some highly discounted daily deals over the last couple of months, on top brand named sports merchandise. For example, an upcoming deal will be for Helly Hansen baselayer and jackets – but we don’t yet know the percentage discounts on those. If you’re into your sports and like to have the gear to go with it, it could be worth subscribing to their mailing list.

So what do you have to do, to get in on the Canadian Cartel contest? Well, here’s what to do:

Go to Canadian Cartel and make an account there – subscribe to the mailing list as you do so!

Come back to this thread, and just leave a comment below!

Rules:

  • Ends 15th September 2012
  • One entry per household, Canadian participants only
  • Winning email address will be cross-checked by Canadian Cartel to verify participation

Canadian Cartel: Sale On Men’s & Women’s Voleurz Fashion

Canadian Cartel: Sale On Mens & Womens Voleurz Fashion

Canadian Cartel has men’s and women’s fashions from Voleurz on sale for 50% or more. Some items are not available in all sizes and/or colours, offer ends August 27th 2012.

There are many items on sale for men, like this Voleurz mens jacket – Takeo – blue that was $150 and is now $75. A very nice looking jacket, but unfortunately, it’s only available in small and large.

How about sweaters, this Voleurz mens fleece – bandit -grey that was $80 and is now $40 is still available in 2XL sizes.

There are still some tees available, like this Voleurz mens tee – teepee- light grey, but only size in this is large. The price was $40 and is now $19, so it’s a good deal if you take a large.

Lots of items sold out already in women’s section, but still a few left, like this Voleurz womens knit – lorean – grey that was $45 and is now $22.50. There is still medium sizes left.

I like this Voleurz womens woven-nerezza-blue that was $65 and is now $32.50. This is available in XS along with this Voleurz womens jacket – caprarina – khaki that was $120 and is now $60.

All together, there are not many sizes left in any of the sale items, so don’t wait too long.

Shipping: Free on orders over $75.

Canadian Cartel: Skull Candy Earbuds From $19

Canadian Cartel: Skull Candy Earbuds From $19

Canadian Cartel has Skull Candy Earbuds on sale starting at $19. Sale ends August 10 2012 and estimated delivery for most items is August 24th to 27th 2012. Shipping is free on purchase over $75.

There are many different styles available depending on what you’re comfortable with. For relaxing at home, you might enjoy these Skullcandy Core Agent Carbon/red headphones that were $70 and are now $35. I also found these Skullcandy core hesh w.mic red to be quite interesting (I like red). These were also $70 and are now $35.

I really like the look of these Skullcandy 50/50 w.mic3 gold/black earbuds. These have an in-line mic that lets you switch easily from listening to music to talking on your phone and is compatible with iPhone as well as most other smartphones. These were $65 and are now $32.50.

These next ones are too weird for words. The Skullcandy FMJ chrome w/mic were $100 and are now $49. The chrome look is just too cool and the in-line mic is compatible with iPhone, Blackberry and any phone with a 3.5 jack and control switch. This also comes with 3 sizes of silicone ear-tips for the perfect fit, because one size does not fit all with earbuds.

I don’t usually like earbuds because they never seem comfortable, but I wouldn’t mind trying these Skullcandy S Bud black/gold w/mic for two reasons: they look quite comfortable and the price is right.

These were $45 and are now $22. They also have an in-line mic and come with a satin travel bag.

Shipping: Free on orders over $75, anything under that is standard @ $10.95.

Canadian Cartel: Sale For OnSight Equipment Travel Products

Canadian Cartel: Sale For OnSight Equipment Travel Products

Canadian Cartel is offering a special on travel products from Onsight Equipment. Products available while quantities last!

Please note that you need an account for the above daily deal site to browse the items.

Products available are:

  • Backpacks
  • Sling bags
  • Passport pouch
  • Shoulder bags

This Half Nelson Minimalist Bike Pack is quite stylish looking with all of its buckles, zippers and mesh pockets. It even has an elastic cord to hold helmets and pads as well as reflective mesh panels for night time safety. This back pack is priced at $27, regular price $55.00.

The Passport pouch has a pocket on this inside for your passport and a currency pocket on the outside. The strap system will work around your waist or neck, helping to prevent loss of money or documents. This is priced at $8, regular price $16 and is well worth it, if you’re going to be traveling anywhere that you will need currency and passports.

I like this cute little Granville shoulder bag with just enough room to have everything you need on hand. This is actually made from recycled pet water bottles. That is so cool.

I always thought a backpack is a backpack and I didn’t realize the difference between any of them, but there is. A pack that is comfortable to wear and gives easy access to all the things you need on hand makes a huge difference.

Shipping: Free on orders over $75

Canadian Cartel: Member Prices On 1 to 2 Year Subscriptions For 5 Canadian Publications

Posted by on July 18, 2012 at 4:00 PM

Canadian Cartel: Member Prices On 1 to 2 Year Subscriptions For 5 Canadian Publications

Canadian Cartel has a great deal on subscriptions to your favorite Canadian magazines for $10 per subscription at 1 to 2 years, depending on publication chosen. The shipping charge of $10.95 will be manually removed and does not apply. This offer expires in 6 days.

Publications available are as follows:

I personally don’t have much understanding of any of the magazine topics, but I have sons that are very into sports. They would love these magazines and at this price, I can almost get 3 subscriptions for the price of one, (regular prices range from $27.95 to $29.95). Awesome dude!

I do know that skateboarding has become very big, as I watch the kids and young adults at our local skateboard park, continuously abusing their bodies. I don’t understand the concept, but it seems to be quite a rush for them.

What can I say, I’m a mom and anything dangerous is definitely not what I recommend, but we have to stand back, let them grow and experience things and provide as much support as we can even if it means some injuries along the way.

At least there are learning tools, such as these magazines to provide them with the best knowledge possible about each sport.

Shipping: Delivery is estimated between August 2nd and 5th.

Canadian Cartel: Summer Button Up Event – Up To 60% Off

Canadian Cartel: Summer Button Up Event – Up To 60% Off

Canadian Cartel has some great deals on button up shirts at 50% to 60% off retail prices. Brand names offered are LOST, OBEY, Rusty, Split, Rip Curl, Lifetime and Quicksilver. Sale is only valid for another 2 days.

You might as well get the fall and winter shirts now while the price is right. This Obey Cole shirt is on sale for $35, was $80. These shirts are 100% cotton with button flap chest pockets.

How about a short sleeved Loste Shatte Red shirt, on sale for $29, regular price $60. This shirt is laundered fine cotton and reverse print. I also see a pocket, but not sure if it’s for show or actually functional.

Here is a Lifetime Broken Arrow Henley shirt that is quite interesting with its raglan sleeves, listed at $29, regular price $60. This shirt is also cotton with 1 pocket and seems to fit the sporty day look.

There is also some jacket/hoodies for sale like this Lifetime JKT She Bang, priced at $75, regular price $150. This is also 100% cotton and fully lined, so it would probably be better for those cooler days.

You can also invite friends and receive $10 when their first order ships. There is no limit to amount you can earn, but the credits do expire after 6 months.

Shipping: Free on orders over $75 and estimated delivery is listed with each item. Seems to be approximately 2 – 3 weeks.

Expiry: 2 days left

Canadian Cartel: Quarterly Sporting Goods 60% Clearout

Posted by on June 28, 2012 at 9:00 AM

Canadian Cartel: Quarterly Sporting Goods 60% Clearout

Over at the daily deal site for sporting goods, Canadian Cartel, they’re having a quarterly clearout, getting rid of the excess stock from some of their previous deals. In this sale, you can get goods for up to 60% off regular prices.

I know that some of you don’t like this idea, but Canadian Cartel shows their deals to logged in members only, so you will have to make an account there, or sign in to your existing account to view all the deals.

Let’s have a nosey at some of the sporty offers:

Sizing does seem limited for some of the clothing offers, so get in there fast to try and make sure you get what you need. As I write this, there are 32 different items to choose from in the sale section.

Canadian Cartel: Brooks Running Motion Control Beast For $75 & Free Shipping (More Than Half Price)

Posted by on June 10, 2012 at 10:00 AM

Canadian Cartel: Brooks Running Motion Control Beast For $75 & Free Shipping (More Than Half Price)

Over on the sporty daily deal site Canadian Cartel, they have a half price deal on many Brooks running shoes, and one of the highest percentage discounts is on the Running Motion Control Beasts. The regular price is $160, and they’re more than half price, down to $75, with free shipping.

If you want to see the sale, you might need to sign in at Canadian Cartel, then you might need to click the above link again. The site doesn’t say if these Brooks running shoes are specifically designed for men or women, but from the colour scheme, I would say that they’re applicable for either gender. I’ve pictured them in the image above.

There are a lot more shoes to choose from in the Brooks sale too, maybe have a glance at those.

Shipping is free on orders of $75 or more, if you’re ordering anything else on the site, such as items in the Ultimate Direction offers.

And don’t forget that we’re running a contest with Canadian Cartel giving away some sporty goodies – so once you sign up on Canadian Cartel, go back and leave a comment on the Bargainmoose contest post.

As I was writing this post, my brother-in-law was passing the computer when I had the Brooks sale page open on my screen, and I heard an exclamation of, “Oooh, they’re nice shoes.” Funny comment from a man… but I understand why, as he is on a bit of a fitness streak at the moment.
