Take a look at the many different ideas for Fathers Day snacks. I would not be able to choose, they all look so tasty! If snacking isn’t his thing, check out the spices available for his barbequing, or any of the weekly specials.

I personally love the Anna Olson recipes they have listed. I am definitely trying the chocolate chips cookies for my grandbabies this weekend and most likely the carnberry quinoa salad for myself. Mmmmmmmmm!

The Bulk Barn is probably in my top 5 most favorite places to shop. They literally have everything I need from cereal to dog snacks. The spices are amazing. I just buy what I need to fill containers and no messy empty bags hanging around in my cupboard. If you have a pet at home, you need to take a look at all the petfood available for them.

Bargainmooser Carlyn had a funny story to share a few months ago:

Just a couple weeks ago I called the Bulk Barn to identify a mysterious white powder my husband had picked up for me. I couldn’t remember anymore what I had asked him to pick up. Baking powder is now identified and labelled! I love shopping at the Bulk Barn.

Well Carlyn, I am glad your “white powder” was something innocuous… !!

My personal recommendation: if you have a lot of items you want to buy, split your orders into $10 sections, and use a few coupons. It says that there is a limit of “one coupon per week” so this method will only work if you either bring a few people with you, and you each use a coupon, or you make a few separate visits to the store. Print it out a couple of times if you want to give that a try. You’re still within the terms and conditions of the original coupon.

It has been AGES since the Bulk Barn has had a deal, so I was thrilled to see this. It is a great place for yummy bits of everything. But a word of caution: If you bring something home with just the tag marking it’s bin number: write on the tag what is in it. I have a bag of ‘white powder’ sitting in my baking cupboard from the Bulk Barm. My best guesses is that it is some kind of starch or cream of tartar!!
