We were at the mall last week and the kids wanted to look through Build A Bear. They really do have everything there. I love the skates and hockey outfits and the fluffy wedding dresses!

A Build-A-Bear makes a great gift for any boy or girl. However, if you are buying a stuffed animal as a gift, I would recommend not stuffing it and letting the child take it back to the store for the stuffing experience. Although a deflated stuffed animal doesn’t seem like a nice gift, letting the child choose the amount of stuffing, give a kiss to the heart and giving the animal a bath after is something that they all love to do!

Even as an adult I like plushies. I have my own small collection, I have the entire Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010 Plushie set, and I have my Jellycat Piper collection which I am still working on. I have often thought of building my own little bear.

The printable coupon could come in very handy for some bear-buying Christmas emergency gifts! In fact, where I live this store is amazingly popular! I guess people just love customizing their own bear.. maybe they feel ‘more in touch’ with it. They can choose how soft or hard they want the stuffing packed in, colour of fur, and then accessories of course. They also build other things besides bears.. but it is just amazing how many people I see wandering around the mall with these things! I’m not just talking about adults or kids, teenage girls and younger adults love them too… generally of the female gender though. lol
