Every month, they send out a new newsletter to your email. If you don’t really want this, just use a disposable email address. BUT sometimes that have a new coupon or good offer within, so it’s worth keeping an eye on them. For example, on your birthday, they send you another free coupon for buy 1 get 1 free blizzards.

I bet you didn’t know that you can sign your kids up for freebies from Pizza Pizza Canada! Enter their details in the online form to subscribe. Make sure that you do this well in advance of their birthday, to make sure they get the Pizza Pizza deal on time.

Once you have signed up the kids, they get a birthday card mailed to their home on their birthday. Additionally, they get free pizza and pop! They have to bring the birthday card to the store within 30 days of their birthday to claim it.

Offer is valid for one slice of Cheese or Pepperoni Pizza and a 355 ml can of pop, 250 ml milk or 500 ml bottled water.

This Pizza Pizza deal is only available in Ontario or Quebec.

Once you join Joeys seafood, you are asked if you want to fill out a survey to get a special offer. I filled out the survey, it only took a minute. This is what the free coupon states:

Print this coupon and bring it into any Joey’s Only Seafood Restaurant to receive a FREE Famous 2 Piece Fish & Chips with purchase of a 2 Piece Fish & Chips!

You have to show ID at the time of purchase at the Joeys restaurant. As the coupon states the name which you provided earlier, you should fill in your details accordingly (I mean don’t fill in fake details, as they are printed on the coupon). The coupon is only valid for about a week from when you request it, so make sure you are going to use it. BOGO free on Joeys fish and chips is quite nice!

If you’re in the Joey’s Mariners club, you also get a great coupon on your birthday. It’s worth a percentage discount off your whole meal, up to 25%! For example, if you are 18, you get 15% discount on the meal, 25 year olds or more get 25% discount. That’s a great offer too, so definitely worth being on the mailing list for.

I am a huge fan of seafood. I love everything, from oysters to octopi!! As a teenager, I didn’t enjoy seafood as much, but my time in Australia changed me for the better. As I worked for a few months in an “all you can eat” seafood buffet restaurant, I had to get used to the sights and smells of the Fruits de la Mer. I ended up loving it! In the restaurant, staff were not allowed to eat the oysters from the buffet bar, as they were too expensive. But on my last night working there, I sneaked a few into the kitchen and gobbled them down with some Tabasco and lemon juice. Yumtastic! I am still undecided on their aphrodisiac properties though… I’ll have to do more testing before I come to a conclusion.

If you buy quite a lot of items from The Body Shop, check out this deal which you may not be aware of. The Body Shop offer a membership card for their stores. The initial outlay for the card is $10.

Now if you think about it, in order for the discount card to pay off, you’d have to spend at least $100 per year at The Body Shop stores. E.g. Spending $100 gets you $10 discount. As the card cost $10, you’re breaking even. There are also other bonuses, such as a gift on your birthday. Here is a full list of the benefits:

I love browsing in The Body Shop. They have some gorgeous merchandise!! I really love their new cherry range of beauty products, particularly the shower gels.

Do you like Williams coffee stores? OK, there’s shedloads of Starbucks and tons of Timmies, and maybe not so many Williams, but if you like it, and it is local to you in Ontario, then you might like this deal. If you join their email newsletters online, you will receive a few good deals straight to your inbox.

When you join, they will give you one free regular size specialty hot or specialty cold drink! Apparently, they also send you a gift on your birthday, but I don’t know what this is yet. When you are signing up, you have to select your favorite William’s location, so I don’t know yet if they send you out coupons specific to that location, or generic coupons. You should get the welcome message within 48 hours of joining.

I notice on their website that Williams Coffee is offering free wireless internet access in all their cafés. I think this is an excellent customer service option for any café. It would definitely encourage me to eat and drink there.

UPDATE 25th March 2009 – I put in a random date when I signed up to this offer. I just got my first “birthday” email offering a free slice of cake! It doesn’t even say with purchase, it’s a genuine freebie!

If you join the Orange Julius Quench Club online, they will send you email newsletters from time to time. They don’t send them very often, they don’t spam you like mad or anything.

When you first sign up, they send you a free printable coupon for a free 20oz fruit smoothie with the purchase of the same. They also send you an email coupon on your birthday, plus various other coupons throughout the year. An example of a free coupon I have received in the past was this $1 discount coupon for Orange Julius.

I must say I’m not a big smoothie fan… I much prefer the plain fruit juices. My sister got one of those mad centrifugal juicers last summer, and I went a bit mad with the juice making! I was making lots of strange concoctions and storing them in the fridge… and making people taste a little tiny bit of each one!

I’m definitely more of a fruit juice fan… I really don’t like vegetable juices. I tried carrot and ginger, and nearly puked. But the juicer was great – you could do a huge batch of orange juice and it would last you for a day or two, when kept in the refrigerator.

If you join the Rickis online newsletter, enter your date of birth as you do so to join their Fashion & Friends list. They will then send you a $10 discount coupon on your birthday. I haven’t received mine yet, but I’m assuming that it will be a printable coupon for the $10 reduction.

I have a junk email address with which I use to sign up to all these promotional newsletters. I’d recommend you do the same.

I was reading the “our story” part on their website, and I was surprised to find out that they’ve been around for so long – since 1939 to be exact! Check out their store locations if you want to find one near you.
