Best Buy: The Eddie Bauer Pilot Stroller Travel System is $199.99 ($130 Off)

Posted by on April 18, 2014 at 7:30 PM

Best Buy: The Eddie Bauer Pilot Stroller Travel System is $199.99 ($130 Off)

You can pick up the Eddie Bauer Pilot Travel System (car seat and stroller) from Best Buy for $199.99 through April 19.

If you’re in the market for a new infant car seat and stroller, the Eddie Bauer Pilot Travel System at Best Buy is definitely worth checking out. This travel system normally sells for $329.99 but is $130 off right now. I did a little price checking and discovered that this is a pretty hot deal, since the same system currently sells for $369.99 at Sears, $329.99 at Babies R Us, and a whopping $393.96 at Almost makes me wish I had another baby on the way so I could justify buying one. Almost.

Back when I did need a stroller, I didn’t purchase a travel system, but wished I had. The convenience of being able to take your sleeping baby right from the car and into the stroller without unstrapping and waking him/her is a real plus. I also really like the look of this stroller. With it’s oval shape and modern colour scheme it has some of the flair of the higher-end stroller systems, but without the higher-end prices.

The sun canopy, multi-position recline, and lightweight frame are also handy features in a stroller. Particularly the lightweight frame, I used to walk everywhere with my son when he was in a stroller, and once I added a diaper bag and groceries I was grateful I hadn’t chosen a large heavy model (especially when he started to get bigger and heavier, as we live at the top of a large hill!).

Quantities are limited on this item and the discounted price is only available through April 19, so best to shop soon if you’re interested.

This item will ship for free.

Best Buy Canada: Kobo Arc 64GB Tablet Only $99

Posted by on April 18, 2014 at 3:30 PM

Best Buy Canada: Kobo Arc 64GB Tablet Only $99

Get $50 off the Kobo Arc 64GB tablet, now only $99.99 at Best Buy.

We own two Kobo Arc tablets and I have to say they are fantastic quality, especially for the price. We own a smaller GB version, but we paid this much for ours, so this is a fantastic deal on someone wanting this many GB. I don’t think this sale will be on for long, as it is part of their web exclusive 38 hour sale, so scoop this up if this is on your wishlist. I think it makes a very affordable tablet for someone who doesn’t want to pay iPad prices or great for children and teens.

The Kobo name is synonymous with e-reading, which you can definitely do on this tablet, but not just that, you can surf the web, watch movies, check email, store documents and so much more. This to me, is a much better purchase than just the simple e-reader. Because it has a large capacity for storage, you can store a lot of books on here as well.

Reviewers say they love this tablet and it was definitely a good purchase for the money, even at $50 more. Although I pictured the black above, the white is the one on sale.

Shipping will be free on this as it is over $20.

Best Buy Canada: Up To 70% Off Baby & Kids Clothes

Best Buy Canada: Up To 70% Off Baby & Kids Clothes

Got a fussy baby? Then maybe some new clothes will do the trick. It’s a win-win situation since your child gets new clothes and you get to save up to 70% by shopping at Best Buy!

I could not believe my eyes when I spotted these Boské kids clothes amongst the selection, especially when you consider the original price as they are now 70% off:

Even at full price, the clothes are well worth the purchase because they are made from 100% Peruvian baby alpaca fleece, which is a lighter and stronger material than wool.

Other than that, there is plenty more to pick and save loads on as well with clothes for newborns up to 12 months and from popular brands like Jojo Maman Bebe, Disney, Hello Kitty, Absorba etc. In fact, since shopping ahead is the best way to save big, if your baby will be between 3 and 12 months when the next winter hits, then you could get the Jojo Maman Bebe hooded snowsuit now. Regularly priced at $69.99, you can get it for 40% off at just $41.99.

As usual, don’t forget that Best Buy also offers free shipping on orders over $25.

Future Shop Canada: Two Disney Infinity Figures For $15

Future Shop Canada: Two Disney Infinity Figures For $15

Future Shop has a fantastic deal on Disney Infinity figures, which are now two for $15! Regularly they cost $12.99 each, so you are saving $10 for two and you can buy as many as you’d like. Your discount will show up in your cart. Best Buy is also having this sale, so you can choose which store to shop at depending on the availability of your figure.

I noticed that Disney has now come out with the Frozen figures, which I’m sure will be a hot seller, just like anything Frozen. Elsa, of course, is already sold out, which I am sure will make a few kids cry. Rapunzel might be a close second.

My kids have Disney Infinity, but they haven’t played it too much. I think a few new figures might give them the incentive. They have about 20 video games but they really only play Mario Bros., and soon I think I’m going to throw that game out because I’m tired of hearing about it. Future Shop Canada: Two Disney Infinity Figures For $15

My oldest son would love Jack Skellington, as he doesn’t have this guy in his collection.

Both stores offer free shipping with a $20 purchase, so splurge and get yourself four new characters.

Best Buy Canada: Oral & Body Care Bundle $25 (Save $35)

Posted by on April 9, 2014 at 7:00 PM

Best Buy Canada: Oral & Body Care Bundle $25 (Save $35)

Best Buy Canada has a really good deal on a personal care essentials pack right now. Pick up Personal Oral and Body Care Bundle with Viva Sampler Gift Box for only $24.99 (save $34.99) and get free shipping too because it costs over $20.

I know what you are thinking, personal care products from Best Buy? Ew! But seriously, this bundle deal rocks. The kit comes with a ton of goodies including an Oral-B CrossAction Power Whitening Battery-Powered Toothbrush ($10.99 value) with Oral-B replacement heads ($9.99 value). You also receive the Gillette Venus & Olay Razor and Body Care Kit which would alone cost $16.99 . I actually priced out the three items inside the kit and the razor by itself would cost you nearly the full price of the kit if you didn’t bundle those items together. These kits really do save you a lot of money. The bundle also includes this Crest 3D White 85ml Advance Vivid Toothpaste that regularly costs $4.49.

Along with the full sized goodies above, you also will receive the Viva Sampler including: Scope Dual Blast Mouthwash, Tide Pods, Olay Regenerist Wrinkle Revolution Complex, Gillette Fusion ProGlide, Febreze Car Vent Clip and Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. The razor is the best feature of this pack in my opinion. In the past I have given them to my father or turned them into my husband’s travel razor so he does not have to pack the electric on short trips.

This kit has pretty much everything you need: razor, body wash, deodorant, toothbrush, and toothpaste. I think haircare is a harder thing to bundle because hair needs vary so starkly. Besides that minor omission, this bundle should refresh your bathroom supplies.

Best Buy Canada: All Previously Played Video Games Extra 25% Off

Posted by on April 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM

Best Buy Canada: All Previously Played Video Games Extra 25% Off

Today only, get another 25% off previously played video games for any system (excluding XBox One and PS4).

This is a hot deal that is bound to go quickly. If you want to stock up on new vids for your system and don’t mind previously played, head to Best Buy online to get some awesome deals. The previously played games are all tested to make sure they work, so you don’t have to worry about getting to the end of the castle or what have you and having the game quit on you.

Your discount will be applied in your cart. I see a number of great WiiU games I’d like to get for these discounted prices. The regular price for these games new is usually around $59, so this Legend of Zelda: Windwaker HD is a steal at only $33.74. I know this is a game my kids would thoroughly enjoy.

Other systems like Wii have games at rock bottom prices already, so you can get a number of games for under $5. Even Nintendo DS has games like Purr Pals, on sale for $9.99, but come to $7.49 in the cart.

On XBox 360, Rocksmith, which I believe is a newly-released game is $29.99, but once you take the 25% discount off, you’ll enjoy this game for only $21.49.

Spend $25 and you’ll also get free shipping.

Best Buy Canada: 4 Days Of Savings On NOW!

Best Buy Canada: 4 Days Of Savings On NOW!

Starting now until April 10th, 2014, Best Buy is hosting a 4 Days of Savings Event with plenty of great discounts on various electronics.

Today’s featured deal is on the Asus MeMO FHD pad tablet, which has now been reduced by $100, down to $231.60.

It’s definitely a pretty cool deal considering that CNET has rated it 3.5 stars out of 5, emphasizing the sharpness of its screen, its comfortable and sleek look along with the ease with which it to multitask. Out of all the other merchants, is currently offering it for the cheapest price at $309.99, making Best Buy’s discount a much better one by a long shot!

No word on which items will get slashed in price in the upcoming days yet, but you can however also take advantage of the following deals today:

If you decide to get the Asus tablet, then make sure to also get the Rocketfish tablet case from the list above while it’s on sale! It universally fits all 10″ tablets and can easily be positioned into a standing position.

Best Buy Canada: Savings On XBox One

Posted by on April 4, 2014 at 12:30 PM

Best Buy Canada: Savings On XBox One

I found some interesting savings at Best Buy on an xBox One purchase. Basically Best Buy says the more you buy (games and accessories) with your XBox One purchase, the more you’ll save.

First off, there is a sale on the XBox One 500GB console standard edition with Tomb Raider Definitive edition. It is $60 off, now only $499.99. Since the going price for the XBox One is $499 and the game’s going price is $60, this is a good deal to start.

Now, on to the secondary deals. On any accessories or games you add along with the purchase of your XBox One (doesn’t have to be the one linked above), you’ll get $20 off each one. For example, if you want to buy this Turtle Beach EarForce XO Four gaming headset, instead of paying $119.99, you’d pay $99.99 with your console purchase.

The best deals to go along with this deal are the games, which some are already marked down by $20. This means you’ll save $40 on the games and pay only $19.99 for each. Add as many as you’d like (up to 10), like this Ryse: Son of Rome.

Shipping is free on purchases over $20, which this one will inevitably be, so enjoy not paying those fees.

Best Buy Canada: Small Office Sale

Best Buy Canada: Small Office Sale

Best Buy is having a home office/small office sale with discounts on a number of items. Note that all discounted prices appear in your cart, so not to worry if you see regular prices while shopping.

The first sale that caught my eye was that with the purchase of any stapler, you’ll get a free Sharpie. Sharpies are not the cheapest type of markers/pens, so this is a nice little bonus.

If you need ink or toner, you can get 20% off Lexmark, Brother or Epson multi-packs.

Get 40% off Quartet planners, boards and presentation materials. I particularly like this 17×23 dry erase mini board with cleaner and markers. It is regularly $39.99, but comes down to $23.99 in the cart.

It looks like certain items that are already on sale will not be discounted in the cart, but some of them are already really well priced.

Shipping is free on orders over $20, which is a good low threshold for  a sale like this.

Best Buy Canada Promotional Code: 20% Off TurboTax Premier

Best Buy Canada Promotional Code: 20% Off TurboTax Premier

I believe that today is actually the day that pigs have begun flying because Best Buy has released a promotional code! It’s so incredibly rare that they release any codes at all that I almost couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it, especially since it’s right on point with tax season! For  a limited time, you can either use the code or the printable coupon below to save 20% on a physical copy of TurboTax Premier.

Click here to print your Best Buy coupon now

Click here to order the TurboTax Premier @ now

  • Coupon Code: 20intuit
  • Discount: 20% off TurboTax Premier
  • Expiry: 3rd April 2014

Keep in mind that the Best Buy promotional code is case sensitive and must be entered in the exact same way as above for it to work (i.e., no caps). Although originally priced at $69.99, with the discount, TurboTax Premier drops down to just $55.99, which is cheaper than everyone else. Amazon and Staples, for instance, both have it for close to $69.99.

Although the premier one is for up 12 returns, if you don’t need that many, then you can get the TurboTax Standard instead as it’s currently on sale for just $28.99 (reg. $39.99) at Best Buy.

I know that filing your own taxes may seem daunting at first (heck, it has been for me for years) but the thing is that though you might spend a little longer this year figuring everything out, come next year, you will be all set and will simply breeze through it. Plus, on top of avoiding those outrageous fees that accountants charge, you will also have peace of mind in knowing that everything was filed correctly because oftentimes than not, even accountants make mistakes.

The biggest thing to remember though is that filing taxes in today’s day and age simply isn’t the same as to how it was decades ago. Whereas before, everything was filed with a pen and numerous confusing papers, now, softwares like TurboTax do all the work for you. All you need to do is enter your numbers, exactly as you see them. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!

Even better is that Best Buy automatically offers free shipping to all orders over $20.

Alternatively, if you prefer downloading an online version of TurboTax premier, then you can also use our BargainMoose exclusive TurboTax discount link to save 12% off its purchase instead.

Best Buy Canada: Two Day TV Sale With Up To $700 Off

Best Buy Canada: Two Day TV Sale With Up To $700 Off

There is a two day TV sale at Best Buy Canada this weekend. Enjoy discounts on Insignia, Philips, Samsung, Toshiba, and Sharp televisions.

There were a few deals that caught my eye. This Insignia 48″ 1080p 60Hz LED HDTV (NS-48D510NA15) is on sale for $399.99, which saves you $70. This deal is for today only and it sounds like there will be a couple TV deals for Sunday only as well. I’m not very familiar with Insignia but a 48″ TV is pretty big and this one offers full HD for a small enough price tag.

If you are a Samsung fan then you can pick up this Samsung 50″ 1080p 60Hz LED HDTV (UN50EH5000FXZA) monster of a TV for $709.99 which saves you $190 off the original price. Also fully HD and from a brand I know a bit better. This TV is on sale through Sunday.

You can also save $110 on a starter kit for most of these TVs when you make your purchase. The Rocketfish starter kit will be discounted to $79.99 and includes a TV wall mount, HDMI cable, screen cleaning kit, and surge protector.

Get free shipping on all orders of $20 or more.

Best Buy Canada: Baby Bjorn Active Front Baby Carrier Only $90 (Was $180)

Posted by on February 26, 2014 at 8:00 AM

Best Buy Canada: Baby Bjorn Active Front Baby Carrier Only $90 (Was $180)

Head over to Best Buy online to get yourself the Baby Bjorn Active Front baby carrier for only $89.99, was $179.99. I price compared this gem of an item and found it from $108 at Amazon to $229 at SnuggleBugz. Either way you look at it, this is a deal, saving you a minimum of $20 from the lowest on sale price up to $130.

I had a Baby Bjorn carrier, which lasted through the use of all three of my big boys. This item was a lifesaver, especially if you have older kids who need both your hands. It is also great for your first child, who might not want to sit in a car seat or grocery cart or stroller. Babies much prefer to be carried, and despite the hype, they don’t get spoiled from it, they get more bonded to you and love it.

The action items you want with a baby carrier are durability, comfort for the baby and comfort for you. I have a bit of a bad back, so carrying someone all day could really jig it. The Baby Bjorn is made to be ergonomic and use the right muscles to carry baby. It has lower back support and is adjustable to take all the weight off your shoulders.

Another great thing I love about Baby Bjorn is that it is really easy to get baby in. I’ve used other carriers and you almost feel like you need to be a magician to get the baby in there.

Shipping is free on this item.
