Home Outfitters: 20% to 25% Off Printable Coupon

Home Outfitters: 20% to 25% Off Printable Coupon

We haven’t blogged about Home Outfitters is a bit, so I thought we should feature this nice new printable coupon for them. Receive 25% off one regular-priced item when you pay with your HBC card, or receive 20% off when you pay with any other tender.

The coupon excludes All-Clad, Smart Buys, Saeco, Dyson, Le Creuset, Breville The Boss blender, and Jura. While I mourn the exclusion of Le Creuset (coated cast-iron rocks!), that leaves a million other brands to purchase with this printable coupon.

Home Outfitters was one of the places I had my wedding registry. From there, I had some items for my bathroom listed (shower curtain, toothbrush holder, matching cup, etc.) and items for the kitchen. Our Green Pan cookware set came from Home Outfitters as well as our bedding set, which has survived fairly well until now (the comforter now has a small tear in it). This coupon does not exclude any bedding, so find yourself a beautiful Nautica bed-in-a-bag set. That will get you a comforter, set of sheets, and pillowcases… all for 25% off (with your HBC card).

Speaking of bedding, sheets seem to be rather expensive these days for anything of quality. I should pop into my local Home Outfitters and see if they sell organic cotton sheets. If so, then this coupon is already used as my husband says we need another set in rotation!

I actually found the absolutely perfect waffle maker but did not buy it myself, only to never be able to find it again. It made six square waffles and the plates were removable. They also flipped over and had a grill on the other side. It was the best waffle maker but when you are planning a wedding, you just do not buy yourself a waffle maker. Unfortunately, I cannot find that exact model anymore. If I could find it again, I would use my 25% off printable coupon on that maker. I think it was by Cuisinart.

While this printable coupon does seem a bit limited as you can only use it on regular priced items, and only on one item, it really is a very good deal. Kitchen, bedding, and housewares tend to be expensive so 25% off something that costs a couple hundred dollars can be a rather large savings.

Hudson’s Bay: 70% Off Blended Down Duvet for Black Friday (EXPIRED)

Posted by on November 28, 2014 at 12:43 PM

Hudsons Bay: 70% Off Blended Down Duvet for Black Friday (EXPIRED)

Hudson’s Bay Canada is offering a breathtaking 70% off the Distinctly Home Blended White Down Duvet in both queen and king size! The king was originally $600, and is now on sale for $180. The queen was originally $500, and is now on sale for $150. These are luxurious blended down duvets sure to please.

I am drooling over these boys already. My favourite blanket ever is the duvet. This is a blended white down duvet but I cannot find what the blend ratio is, unfortunately. The details are sparse but here is what I do know.

The blended down duvet displays a 12″ handcrafted baffle box design with a 550 fill power. That is how much feathers and poof you can expect from your duvet. I do not know the ratio chart, but this one sounds decent. The case is made out of 100% cotton and has a thread count of 400, which is good in my books. I consider 600 very high quality, 400 good quality, and anything 300 or below low quality. However, I am thinking of sheets so shells for duvets might be a bit different.

When you think about it, this is just an insanely good price. For a good quality pair of sheets you would pay roughly the same as the sale price of this duvet. However, with a duvet you are getting a lot more. Not only is there the shell (two sides of fabric), which has been stitched into a baffle box design every 12 inches, but there is also the sheer quantity of down inside that you are getting as well. That is why the duvets cost so much in the first place. Good quality down is not cheap.

I love down duvets because they regulate body temperature so well and they are very light compared to traditional comforters. I do not feel like I am suffocated under a pile of blankets. I really want to order this in a queen size for our bed but we have more than enough blankets already.

You will receive free shipping as this product retails for over $99. This is just one of the amazing Black Friday sales that Hudson’s Bay is having. Their website might be a little slow right now because they are getting hit hard.

Future Shop Canada: Simple Sleep Memory Foam Standard Pillow 2 Pack | Was $100 Now $30 (EXPIRED)

Posted by on October 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM

Future Shop Canada: Simple Sleep Memory Foam Standard Pillow 2 Pack | Was $100 Now $30 (EXPIRED)

Oh hey there, Bargainmoosers! If you’re looking for a way to get more comfort during your designated sleep time (also known as “whenever you finally get home from work”), then this deal at Future Shop might pique your interest. For a limited time, you can purchase a Simple Sleep Memory Foam Standard Pillow (2 Pack) for just $29.99! These memory foam pillows normally cost $99.99, so you’re saving $70 with this deal! You’ll also qualify for free shipping, which is always a nice bonus!

This Simple Sleep Memory Foam Standard Pillow (2 Pack) is great for those that have some issues with their current pillows. Without the proper support for your neck and head, it can lead to you waking up sore and stiff, which can be tough to deal with. Thankfully, this Simple Sleep Memory Foam Standard Pillow (2 Pack) can help you get the rest that you deserve, since the memory foam technology can conform to the natural shape of your head and neck.

I originally got a memory foam pillow about 11 years ago, and I used that same pillow for 9 years! It’s currently on my old bed at my parent’s house right now, but I really loved that pillow (and trust me, it was much more expensive than today’s deal is). It provided me with the comfort I needed, and I no longer had to rely on using 2 pillows to rest comfortably.

If you were to purchase this Simple Sleep Memory Foam Standard Pillow (2 Pack) at WalMart, it would cost you $59, and it’s currently on sale at Best Buy for $36.99 (it’s on sale today only). I’ve included a brief review of some similar memory foam pillows from a satisfied Amazon customer below:

These pillows are incredible! They conform to the curve of the neck and are very comfortable to sleep on. They haven’t gotten flat like regular pillows which I like about it.

This deal will expire before midnight tonight. I hope you’re all enjoying your day, Bargainmoosers!

Today’s deal of the day at Future Shop is for an interesting product that most people wouldn’t expect to purchase from this electronics retailer. It’s for a Luxe Decor Electric Blanket/Mattress Pad, which you can now purchase for $49.99 – the regular price of this item is normally $129.99, so you’re saving $80 with this deal! You’ll also qualify for free shipping.

The Luxe Decor Electric Blanket/Mattress Pad comes with a controller where you can choose from 8 different temperature settings that can help you get the rest that you need! It’s made from 100% fleece, has overheat protection, and a timer that can last up to 8 hours. It’s also 84″ x 72″, so you’ll have plenty of coverage with this mattress pad.

If you usually struggle to stay warm at night, or find yourself battling your covers in the middle of the night, then you should consider checking out this deal. This Luxe Decor Electric Blanket/Mattress Pad can provide you with some extra comfort, especially since it comes with a digital controller that can help you easily adjust its temperature settings at any time.

I remember having an electric blanket when I was a young lad, and my mother would usually put it on me when I was feeling sick. It was so relaxing to have that electric blanket on me! Looking back, that was old technology (it was from the 80s), so I’m sure that this Luxe Decor Electric Blanket/Mattress Pad is much more efficient!

If you were to purchase this Luxe Decor Electric Blanket/Mattress Pad at Best Buy, it would cost you $129.99. I’ve listed a brief review of this electric mattress pad from a satisfied Future Shop customer below:

My wife loves this blanket and uses it every day…it has been a very cold winter so this blanket has been perfect to keep us warm.

This may not be in stock for very long, so check out this deal while it’s still valid. I hope you all enjoy your Tuesday!

WalMart Canada: Ozark Trail Folding Bed in a Bag – Twin Size | Was $132 Now $50 (EXPIRED)

Posted by on October 5, 2014 at 10:29 AM

WalMart Canada: Ozark Trail Folding Bed in a Bag – Twin Size | Was $132 Now $50 (EXPIRED)

Today’s deal is for a convenient and portable sleeping solution that can come in handy when you’re out camping, going to a friend’s house that doesn’t have many sleeping accommodations, or if you’re visiting a friend’s cabin. You can currently get an Ozark Trail Folding Bed in a Bag – Twin Size on clearance at WalMart for just $50! The regular price of this portable sleeping solution is $132, so you’re saving $82! You’ll also get free shipping!

This Ozark Trail Folding Bed in a Bag – Twin Size is great for those that are on the move, or want a comfortable sleeping set-up. I know that the twin size would be able to accommodate my needs without any issues, and the fact that it’s just as portable as a fold-up chair makes this a very useful product!

There have been times when my friends would have many people at their cottage, and sleeping accommodations would become a bit of a challenge. After all, when the guest rooms and the sofas are already taken (well, people would technically claim “dibs” on them), and the only spot available would be the floor. Now don’t get me wrong, the floor can be comfortable when you have the right amount of pillows and blankets to keep you cozy, but you just can’t compete with a sweet folding bed in a bag!

I found it challenging to find this folding bed elsewhere (especially since it’s currently on clearance at WalMart). If you were to purchase a folding bed that’s similar to this Ozark Trail Folding Bed in a Bag – Twin Size at K-Mart, it would cost you $109.99 US.

If you’re looking for an easy to use sleeping solution, then you should consider checking out this deal at WalMart before this product is sold out. Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

Best Buy Canada: King Koil Gel + Memory Foam Pillow | Was $90 Now $36

Today’s Best Buy deal should make everyone crave some extra comfort in their bed! At this time, you can enjoy the benefits of some great savings by getting a King Koil Gel + Memory Foam Pillow for the low price of $35.99! It normally retails for $89.99, so this is quite the bargain. You’ll also get free shipping, so that’s another nice bonus!

This King Koil Gel + Memory Foam Pillow can help accommodate you while you’re trying to get some rest in your bed. It contours to the shape of your head when you’re resting on it, providing you with maximum comfort! You can learn more about this special pillow by clicking here.

I currently have a memory foam pillow, and I absolutely love it. It helps me get some sleep quickly and easily, and is super comfortable! It may be a bit hard when you first lay down on it, but it eventually softens up and helps you get the comfort that you need. It’s also great because I simply use this pillow on its own – I was used to sleeping with two regular pillows before that to get the proper neck support that I needed.

If you were to purchase a similar King Koil Memory Foam Pillow at Staples, it would cost you $65.99. Listed below is an entertaining review of this King Koil Gel + Memory Foam Pillow from a satisfied Future Shop customer:

Fantastically supportive pillow is firm at first touch, then instantly shapes to whatever part of your body is on it. It quickly readjusts as you change position, as well. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because my STUPID BlackBerry wouldn’t let me, for some reason.

Limited quantities of this King Koil Gel + Memory Foam Pillow are available at this time, so take advantage of this deal while it’s still available. Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

WalMart Canada: Twin Bed Espresso Finish | Was $160 Now $98

Posted by on September 30, 2014 at 12:30 PM

WalMart Canada: Twin Bed Espresso Finish | Was $160 Now $98

WalMart is currently having a sale on one of their twin beds. Normally retailing for 159.88. you can now get this twin bed with an Espresso finish for $98! That’s $61.88 off of the regular price! You’ll also be able to get free shipping.

This twin bed is made of  solid pine/spruce. It also has 3 slats and 5 supports legs. If you want to see more details about this twin bed, just click here.

I slept in a twin bed for many years. I only began to find it tough to deal with when I became a young adult – I was just becoming too tall for it. I sleep in a Queen bed now, so I can really stretch out during the evening. A twin bed is great for children and teens, and they don’t take up too much room, either.

Even though this twin bed doesn’t come with a mattress, it’s still a good deal. This twin bed normally costs $159.88, and you can see the difference in quality and appearance between this one that’s on sale at WalMart, and this simplistic looking twin bed at Ikea that retails for $99. It all depends on your personal taste, but I think WalMart’s twin bed with an Espresso finish may be simplistic, but it also has a nice look to it.

Listed below is a review of this twin bed from a satisfied WalMart customer:

Picked this up during the Anniversary sale, and this bed would be a great value even at full price. Solid construction, nice design, and VERY easy to put together (one person, took about 30 mins). No defects in the materials, and the bed is made from solid wood, not MDF. Very happy.

This is a good deal for anyone that’s looking for a new twin bed. Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

Costco Canada: Queen Organic Cotton Sheet Set 300 TC Only $62.99

Posted by on September 24, 2014 at 1:30 PM

Costco Canada: Queen Organic Cotton Sheet Set 300 TC Only $62.99

Costco Canada has the most incredible price listed for their Organic Cotton Sheet Set. While these sheets are not on sale, I assume they will sell out quickly because their price is so extraordinary inexpensive. Buy a set of organic cotton sheets with matching pillowcases for just $62.99 with free shipping at Costco.

You might be wondering why I am blogging about something that is technically not on sale. Well, I am recently in the process of converting all my bedding over to organic. You have no idea the expense involved in buying organic sheets, so I have been price comparing everywhere I can find organic sheets in Canada (rare). The prices are astronomical as you can see for yourself.

As a price comparison, let us look at what the competitors are selling similar queen size organic cotton sheet sets for – around the same thread count.

The average set of 300 thread-count organic cotton sheets sells for $200 plus from most retailers. The cheapest places to find organic sheets are and this amazing deal at Costco. I own a pair of the sheets I linked to and I attempted to buy another pair just a couple weeks ago. However, they cancelled my order and told me the sheets had been discontinued. I told them they were still available for sale on the website and they thanked me for that information (not happy!). I suggest you do not try to purchase those sheets; they are for price reference only.

Costco’s price completely blows the competition out of the water. They are cheaper than the (non-existent) organic sheets by $30 and nearly 1/3rd the price of the majority of other organic sheet sellers. These sheets are made of 100% Egyptian organic cotton and are Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified.

As they have not been processed with harsh chemicals, they might smell of vinegar. However, this smell will come out in a few washes. These are ivory sheets (though they look white in the picture) and the set includes a fitted sheet, flat sheet, and two pillowcases. I use organic sheets because my skin is very sensitive to chemicals. I figure that anything that has contact with my skin, for eight hours a day, should not contain the same chemicals I would use to clean my toilet.

ethicalDeal: 50% Off Organic Spelt Pillows Now $30 – $40

Posted by on September 4, 2014 at 4:00 PM

ethicalDeal: 50% Off Organic Spelt Pillows Now $30 $40 is offering 50% off organic spelt hull pillows from Purity Research Health. The medium firmness pillows (950g) were $60 and now cost $30 at ethicalDeal. The firm option with zipper (1200g) retail for $80 and now cost $40 at ethicalDeal.

Use coupon code PAMPEREDBABY to receive an extra $5 off this deal if this is the first time you have placed an order with ethicalDeal.

I am pretty stoked about this offer because I just placed an order for myself. Yup! I have really needed new pillows for a bit now and I have been experiencing bouts of neck stiffness and back pain. I cannot directly attribute it to my pillow (it could also be my mattress), but the pain does seem more prevalent in the morning. While the medium pillows are cheaper, I opted for the firm pillows for only $10 more. I am not sure whether the firm pillows are right for me, but they come with a zipper (medium does not), so I can take out the extra spelt hulls to create the perfect firmness and thickness. This was really the selling point of the firm pillows: customization.

Spelt hull pillows in organic cotton casing are all natural vegan alternatives to regular pillows. You can also do some amazing things with spelt hull pillows that you cannot with regular pillows. They are fully washable and can go through the dryer. You can stick them in the freezer and turn your pillow into an ice pack. You can also stick your spelt hull pillow in the oven or the microwave (not the firm with zipper ones!) to heat your pillow up and create a warm compress. We do not own a microwave so I look forward to sticking my pillows in the oven (on low) for a therapeutic sleep come winter. These pillows last up to 10 years, so the money you spend today is a good investment for years to come.

These pillows do not come with pillowcases, just the spelt hull covers. You will need to buy pillowcases separately or use what you already have. These pillows measure 19″ x 14″ and you should be aware that they are smaller than your average pillow. You might need to take in a couple pillowcases for a proper fit.

This deal ships across Canada. Shipping starts at $6 and goes up to $15 depending on where you live.

Amazon Canada: Up To 78% Off Z By Malouf Memory Foam Pillows & More

Amazon Canada: Up To 78% Off Z By Malouf Memory Foam Pillows & More

Amazon Canada has a huge sale on Z by Malouf Memory Foam Pillows with up to 78% off king, queen, standard, and travel pillows.

These deals are so good I might just replace all the pillows on our bed. This Z by Malouf Aeration Pillow with Removable Bamboo Velour Cover and three year warranty was originally $129.99 and is now on sale for $29.99. The pillow is filled with air cushioning polyethylene tubes for proper posture, airflow, and comfort while providing a hypoallergenic solution to the buckwheat pillow.

The Z by Malouf Z-Gel Infused Dough Memory Foam Pillow with Removable Velour Cover and five year warranty was $119.99 for the standard size, which is now on sale for $29.99. That is equal to 75% off, with the queen pillow at 73% off and the king size pillow at 70% off. It is naturally hypoallergenic and dust mite resistant while being cool and comfortable for sweet dreams. The Z by Malouf Z-Gel Infused Dough Memory Foam Contour Pillow looks to be the exact same material, just in a contoured shape, and it is 77% off in the standard size. originally $79.99, it is now $19.99. The queen and king sizes are also on sale for good prices.

My favourite of the pillows for sale is this Z by Malouf Dough Memory Foam + Liquid Z-Gel Pillow with Removable Velour Cover and five year warranty. I absolutely hate warm pillows, so I am constantly flipping my pillow each time I wake up. The Liquid Z-Gel captures and distributes heat to keep your head cool. The standard sized pillow is on sale from $129.99 down to $29.99. While the standard is 77% off, the queen size is 75% off and the king size is 70% off.

The travel pillows are a great deal too. There is nothing like going away on a nice vacation only to find a lumpy pillow. This Z by Malouf Travel Zoned Dough Memory Foam Pillow was $79.99 and is now $16.99. It is a great little pillow to use for flights or to sleep on the ferry. I notice many people do not even bother getting out of their vehicles on the ferry; rather they just flop over in their vehicles and catch forty winks between the mainland and Vancouver Island.

There are so many more pillow deals than just these. Check them all out at the main link above.

Receive free shipping on orders of $25 or more.

Chapters Indigo Canada: Up to 60% off Pillows & Throws

Chapters Indigo Canada: Up to 60% off Pillows & Throws

Chapters Indigo is selling decorative pillows and throws for your living room or bedroom for up to 60% off their original retail price.

There is nothing like new linens for summer. They brighten up a room and declare that a new season has started. They are also the easiest way to give your room a makeover without spending an inordinate amount of money. A few carefully selected throw pillows and a pretty quilt can give your room an entire new feel: just add a bit of greenery or some freshly cut flowers and you are ready to relax.

I am into matching sets, I always have been. If you are going to be putting a few pillows and a blanket into a large room then you want people to know they were meant to go together. These Balsalm Lake- Set of 2 Pillows are a lovely blue colour and I enjoy the patchwork design. They are perfect for a casual living room or a cottage on the lake. The set originally cost $120 and is now on sale for $48. You might be a bit surprised by the original price of this duo of pillows, but they 12″ x 18″ each and are made of 100% recycled fabrics.

Be sure to pick up the matching Balsalm Lake Quilt that was $160 and is now on sale for $72. It is 67″ x 50″ and makes the perfect throw for curling up under while watching TV or reading a book. It is also made of 100%-recycled fabrics and reminds me of the quilts my grandmother use to make. I really like quilts, they remind me of when the products you bought where quality made and would last a lifetime. That is why I actually like to invest money into quality items. I still own a quilt from my grandmother and one from my great grandmother.

There are many other pillows and throws to pick from as well. Pick your colour combination and then choose your accessories. You can also buy some single colour throws to mix with your multi-colour pillows and quilts. This Soft Pebble Throw Cloud Blue  was $39.50 and is now only $22. The design comes in many different colours. All discounts appear to be 44% off or higher so no matter what you choose, you will be getting a good deal.

Receive free shipping on orders of $25 or more at Chapters Indigo.

Hudson’s Bay Canada: 67% Off Ralph Lauren European Down Duvet (Now $200 | Was $600)

Posted by on June 16, 2014 at 6:30 PM

Hudsons Bay Canada: 67% Off Ralph Lauren European Down Duvet (Now $200 | Was $600)

Do you need a new duvet? The Ralph Lauren bronze comfort European down duvet is on sale for just $200 (reg. $599) at Hudson’s Bay right now, among many other duvets at great prices.

Both hubby and I are the worst when it comes to remembering to make the bed every single morning, but with a duvet like this one, I’m pretty sure we would both be motivated enough to do it… well, hopefully! Hudsons Bay Canada: 67% Off Ralph Lauren European Down Duvet (Now $200 | Was $600)

Made of 100% cotton, it has a 300 thread count, 650 fill power European white down filling and is machine washable. Plus, it has a baffle box construction, which basically means that the down fill is separated into boxes throughout the duvet, thereby contributing to increased warmth because the filling is evenly distributed. This also simplifies the task of washing/ drying it. Here’s what a reviewer had to say about it:

We’ve enjoyed the duvet for 2 weeks and have no complaints. Of course we purchased it on sale so we think it is worth it’s value. It has a great weight for all year round & fits well in the duvet cover with no gaps. I’ve already recommended it to family & friends.

According to a different reviewer, this duvet is quite possibly too warm for summer use but for those of your with air conditioning, I’m sure it wouldn’t be a problem. My hubby likes to turn the bedroom into an icebox, so a warmer duvet is one that I would actually much prefer! Hudsons Bay Canada: 67% Off Ralph Lauren European Down Duvet (Now $200 | Was $600)

Although there are plenty other duvets to choose from as part of Hudson’s Bay’s sale, the Glucksteinhome European down duvet is also worth mentioning. Instead of its regular price of $500, you can get it on sale right now for a king sized bed for just $149 or a queen sized bed for $129 (reg. $400). It basically has all the same features as the one above with the main differences being that the Ralph Lauren one is a much more recognized name and it also comes with a seasonal bag for storage.

Shipping is at an estimated cost of $14.95 for this duvet but it also depends on your location.

Wagjag Canada: $39 for Dobby Striped Microfibre Sheet Set (Up To $139 Value)

Wagjag Canada has a pretty good deal on a set of Dobby Striped Microfibre Sheets for twin, double, queen, or king size beds. Valued up to $139, depending on the size you get, pay only $39 including shipping.

These sheets are wrinkle resistant and machine washable. You get to choose between seven colours: brown, red, cream, light blue, grey, white, or navy. Each set comes with one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, and two pillow cases (the twin only comes with one). Your offer will be filled by Mattress Direct Canada which originally priced the sheet sets at the following:

  • Twin – $89
  • Double – $110
  • Queen – $129
  • King – $139

So, while the deal says up to a $124 value, according to Mattress Direct’s website it is actually up to a $139 value if you are getting the king size set. Now, I couldn’t price compare the exact sheets but I did find these Dobby Stripe Sheet Sets from Distinctly Home on The Bay’s website. Even on sale the sets started at $43.99 and went up to $149.99.

Shipping is included.

Quilts ETC Canada: White Sale Up To 80% Off Online Only

It is pretty common to see a lot of “White Sales” in the month of January simply because it is cold weather, and it snows all the time in most of Canada.  What is less common is to see a white sale that will get you more than 50% off the regular prices.  Right now at Quilts ETC, you can save up to 80% when shopping their white sale online!

This sale is only available online, so if you are heading into your local store, you will not see prices up to 80% off.

Here is a look at some of the deals you will find:

Basically, you could update all the bedrooms in your home for a fraction of the regular cost.  I even sometimes grab extra bedding when it is on sale this low to store away for when I do need it.  That way, I don’t have to pay full price for bedding ever, and I will always have extra on hand for company.  I just make sure to buy a neutral colour as popular styles change often.

As for the cost of shipping, it will depend on which province you live in.  Most provinces however offer free shipping for orders over $129.
