Back to school offers are all the rage at the minute! The first one I posted about was the Zellers deal, and now many more Canadian companies seem to be following suit. The Source Canada is advertising their back-to-school deals now. Here are the details in their flyer:

The Source is calling this “back to school essentials,” yet they list a HDTV on there. Since when was a HDTV a back to school essential?! The deals are on all sorts of electronics, from laptops to USB drives, two items which do fall into the back-to-school category in my opinion.

In a recent email from Zellers Canada, they showed how to stuff your school backpack for less than $10! It’s an in-store offer, you can’t get it online (sadly).

If you weren’t aware, there are a number of Canadian sites which sell personalised labels, which are ideal for the kids going back to school. The labels are handy for attaching to their shoes, clothing, pencil cases, books, or anything that could get mixed up with the other kids.

I always use sandwich bags in my house, so it would be no problem to buy these. As far as I can see, it’s a $5 discount, with no minimum spend, on any Mabel’s Labels product.

You could be an even smarter shopper by combining this deal with a printable coupon – there’s a $2 Ziploc coupon on this page which you can put towards the purchase of 2 or more packs of Ziploc bags.

The Office Depot coupons usually exclude technology items, so you won’t be able to apply it to your laptops or monitors, etc. When you add an item to your cart and apply the coupon code, it will tell you as you go through checkout if the item is eligible or not.

I think it would be handy if you were thinking of buying some office furniture, or perhaps some back-to-school supplies.

Quick post! This Zellers coupon is valid today only, Saturday the 22nd of August, 2009. It’s for a $10 discount on a spend of $75 or more, in-store @ Zellers Canada. It arrived in my email, so I thought it was worth sharing!

A $10 discount on a $75 spend is pretty handy. If you’re using Zellers to stock up on lots of last minute items for the “back-to-schoool” shop, then this coupon could be ideal. The email also showed some special offers on various items, in that category I have also pasted onto the coupon page, for your viewing.

For example, a kid can never have enough Crayola crayons!! A 24 pack is only $1.47 @ Zellers. The little maths set actually looks very handy too – $6.97, and it comes with 14 pieces. From the looks of it, it includes a calculator, compass, eraser, pencils… etc.

I just got an email from Sears with some details about a Back To School sale and a handy Sears coupon too. You can check out their “back to school” store online, see if there’s anything you need, plus you can make use of the coupon code too. Here are the details:

BookCloseOuts.com is a store that sells books online – they say they are “The Best Seller in Bargain Books”. They are actually Canadian, an Ontario based seller, but prices are shown in US dollars. I’ve bought from these guys a few times – very good service.
