The Bay Canada: 50% Off KitchenAid Ultra Power Stand Mixer – Now $199.99 (Was $399.99)

Posted by on July 25, 2012 at 5:00 PM

The Bay Canada: 50% Off KitchenAid Ultra Power Stand Mixer Now $199.99 (Was $399.99)

The Bay Canada has a good offer on this KitchenAid Ultra Power Stand Mixer – Now $199.99 (Was $399.99). You will receive free shipping as well because it is over the minimum required for shipping.

The KitchenAid Ultra Power Stand Mixer is 50% off, and comes on Onyx Black. They say black matches everything, a lot better than my grape purple stand mixer does!

    It comes with:

    • Flat Beater
    • Dough Hook
    • Wire Whip

I own a stand mixer… Purple is my pride and joy. Recently I used the dough hook for the first time ever. I was making Pizza dough and it requires 10 minutes kneading. Previously I had attempted it by hand and usually made it about 5 – 6 minutes. This time I dumped it in the stand mixer with the dough hook and let it run on low for 10 minutes. The dough was perfect!

Sears Canada: Boxing Week in July

Sears Canada: Boxing Week in July

Sears Canada is having a Boxing Week in July Sale on right now with items up to 60% off the regular prices.  Save on clothing, household items, mattresses and more for a limited time only.

Here are the sales you can look forward to:

It looks like a good mixture of everything is included in this sale.  I wonder why their advertisement banner says up to 50% off because clearly their are items discount more than that. Make sure you really check the prices because even though the kids section say up to 20% off I found items like this Discovery Kids ice cream maker on sale for 50% off the regular price.  It was a sweet little bonus and a fun item to have handy, all year round!

This sale is just another example of Christmas in July like we posted about earlier with the best deals for July.

Beyond The Rack: Up To 80% Off Factory Refurbished Cuisinart Kitchen Essentials

Posted by on July 18, 2012 at 2:00 PM

Beyond The Rack: Up To 80% Off Factory Refurbished Cuisinart Kitchen Essentials

Beyond The Rack Canada has a great sale on Cuisinart products for up to 80% off. Brand authenticity guaranteed; items are direct from manufacturer. Limited time offer ends July 19th or while quantities last.

A Few of the Cuisinart products available:

Items are selling out fast and it’s no wonder at these prices. I can’t wait to get my Electric Cookie press to see if it really is that easy. Imagine, cookies in minutes and I can still say they’re homemade.

The can opener states $100 value, but I did find one at The Bay that looks and sounds like the same item for $49.99 brand new. I think the difference would be the guarantees, Beyond The Rack offers a 90 day manufacturer warranty, while The Bay offers a 3 year warranty. Personally, I would be happy with the 90 warranty and $35 savings.

I also checked out the 12 cup food processors, listed at $159.99, valued at $395. The Bay shows their brand new processors for $339.99, so not far off the mark and again the difference being the warranty.

I think that Beyond The Rack has some great sales on these Cuisinart products, definitely worth taking a look, but some of their “valued at” prices are a little high, so check to make sure you are getting the best deal and if you’re ok with refurbished items and a limited time warranty, you’re good to go.

Shipping: Within 5 days of ordering as long as product is available, if not available, could be 2 – 3 weeks. Shipping is a flat $11.95.

If you’re a new customer, don’t forget to use our exclusive Beyond the Rack invitation code for a $10 discount on your first order.

The Bay Canada: 12 Cup Programable Oster Coffee Maker Now $31.99 (Was $79.99)

Posted by on July 15, 2012 at 2:00 PM

The Bay Canada: 12 Cup Programable Oster Coffee Maker Now $31.99 (Was $79.99)

The cheapest way to get a cup of coffee is to brew your own in the morning and take it with you to work. Even with the cost of a coffee maker and the grounds, you will easily save that amount in a month if you are a 1-a-day coffee buyer. Right now there is a fantastic 12-cup programmable coffee maker by Oster on sale @ The Bay for $31.99, originally $79.99.

If you think of your coffee habit as maybe a dollar-a-day kind of habit, who knows… maybe you do McDonald’s coffee. This coffee pot at $1 a day would start saving you money in 32 days. I really like the features of this model:

    • Special Cleaning Cycle makes cleaning quick & easy
    • Programmable Clock/Timer with 2 hour auto shut off
    • Audible On/Off signal beeps when your coffee is ready
    • Cord storage

You also do not need to make a full pot of coffee if you are not a 12 cup household. My parents use to go through so much coffee when I was younger, but they ended up cutting back. Sometimes they would only brew a half-pot in the morning.

The Bay Canada: Kitchenaid 4 Speed Blender Now $83.19 (Was $129.99)

Posted by on July 13, 2012 at 10:00 AM

The Bay Canada: Kitchenaid 4 Speed Blender Now $83.19 (Was $129.99)

The Bay Canada has a 4 Speed Kitchenaid Blender on sale now for $83.19, it was originally $129.99. That is a great price for a Kitchenaid small appliance like this blender.

I price compared with Amazon and the only 4-speed Kitchenaid blender I found on there was priced at $119.99.

    About this blender:

48 ounce Blend and Serve Pitcher, 4 Speeds, Exceptional Blending System, Patented stainless steel blade is positioned on four different planes for fast and thorough blending, Stay Put Lid with Ingredient Cup, One Year Hassle Free Warranty

With the heat wave we are having right now, I am living off my Kitchenaid blender. I take yogurt cups that are near to expiring and stick them in the freezer. Whenever I need something cold I take out a yogurt cup, put the yogurt into the blender with some frozen or fresh fruit, and water. presto: a smoothy. Since this heat wave I have been living off ice tea smoothies. It is simple: 1 tray of ice cubes, about 3/4 a cup of water and a serving or 2 of your favourite ice tea mix.

Cuisinart Authorized Reseller @ eBay (Deals On Small Appliances)

Posted by on June 10, 2012 at 4:00 PM

Cuisinart Authorized Reseller @ eBay (Deals On Small Appliances)

The other day, I mentioned the Breville authorized clearance outlet, and noted a few of the deals in there. This post is to let you know about the Cuisinart outlet, another very popular brand, and it’s managed by the same retail group.

Here are some of the current deals on the outlet:

Shipping is extra for each item, and it depends where you are located in Canada. For example, I price compared the first item in the list, the SS-700C. On the clearance outlet, you’d pay about $170 including shipping – this item is $200 on Amazon. So, it’s worth price comparing the items and seeing how good a deal you can find.

For all of the above items, the “was” price is how much you would pay to buy the item brand new. All the above items are refurbished to a high standard, and come with a 30 day money-back guarantee. Cuisinart items come with a 3 month manufacturer warranty. On the Breville post, Bargainmooser Andrea said that she made a purchase last year, and had a small problem when it arrived. The company sent her a new machine and arranged the return at no cost – perfect customer service.

Deals @ The Breville Authorized Clearance Outlet @ eBay

Deals @ The Breville Authorized Clearance Outlet @ eBay

A couple of months ago, Avigayil mentioned a great deal on eBay, from the T-fal authorized clearance outlet. The store owners have recently contacted us to let us know that they operate clearance outlets for a couple of other top brands too, and they’re running deals on these products on eBay. One such is the Breville Canada clearance store.

So, if you have a look on the Breville eBay outlet for example, here are a few of the deals:

The “was” prices I am showing above are the recommended retail prices of the original appliances. These items are all manufacturer refurbished and would come with a 30 day guarantee, Breville refurbished products come with a 6 month warranty. The prices above DON’T include shipping, so that would be a bit extra, and varies depending on where you live.

Just be savvy and check out the deal. For example, I price compared the first item in the list, the BJE200XL juice fountain. The first hit that came up was $120 at Amazon. Even when factoring in the test shipping cost of $17 on top of the $55 product cost, this is still substantially cheaper than buying the appliance brand new.

Here’s a word about these authorized reseller stores:

We operate over 60 stores throughout Quebec and Ontario.  Most items we sell in our online clearance outlet are refurbished products and are not offered in our stores.  We developed a strong relationship with our suppliers and we are authorized retailers for all of them.  We currently have Father’s Day’s specials with many great products and special offers.

Amazon Canada: KitchenAid Appliances up to 52% Off

Amazon Canada hes a Deal of the week each week.  This week they have their KitchenAid small appliances on sale for up to 52% off the regular prices.

KitchenAid happens to be my favorite brand for kitchen appliances because they are  reliable, effective and easy to use. Because of all of these great reasons to buy KitchenAid they can be pricey sometimes.  I keep my eye out for sales like this so I don’t have to pay full price for a great item. Until 11th June you will find a variety of KitchenAid small appliances on sale for up to 52% off the regular prices.

Here are a few of the highlights:

Since all of the items that are on sale are over $25, select super saver shipping  (if you are not in a rush to get your items) and you will get free shipping.  I always do this when shopping at Amazon Canada and even though it is suppose to take a few extra days to ship, I almost always get my items within a week.

Amazon Canada: KitchenAid 7-Cup Food Processor – $99.99 (Reg. $149.99)

Amazon Canada: KitchenAid 7 Cup Food Processor $99.99 (Reg. $149.99)

If you are in need of a new food processor, Amazon Canada is offering a KitchenAid 7-Cup Food Processor for $99.99 (Reg. $149.99).

At 33% off this is a pretty good buy for the well known brand KitchenAid. We have a 12-cup KitchenAid Food Processor and it runs pretty well (my husband mainly uses it). The only thing he has had difficulty figuring out is the safety mechanism on it. If the bowl isn’t on proper, or the lid isn’t locked in place properly, the machine will refuse to run. Though this can be frustrating at times i think it is a great safety feature to keep you from recking the machine and to prevent you from getting hurt.

The only thing I don’t like about our food processor is the size. I think the 7-cup would have been far better than the 12-cup.

Sears Canada: Hamilton Beach Panini Press $39.88 (save $16)

Sears Canada has some great deals on right now and this deal in particular I am really excited about.  They have their Hamilton Beach Panini Press on sale for $39.88 (regular price is $55.88).

Here is a look at a few of the features to this grill:

    • Commercial-style floating lid evenly presses sandwiches up to 3″ thick
    • Large 12 x 8 ½” non-stick grids handle bigger jobs with ease
    • Power & Preheat lights let you know when unit is on
    • Upright storage design handy when storage space is limited
    • Lid locks in up position for bruschetta, pizza and open-faced sandwiches; Lid locks in the closed position for upright storage
    • Recipes included to start your taste buds on their journey

Here is a review from a customer:

I bought this for my daughter and son-in -law for Christmas…They love it…they use it on a daily basis..they make quesadillas, lots of different sandwiches..as I said they love love it..it sits right on their counter..heats up quick..easy to clean..
I am thinking i may get one for myself.

At our house we love quesadillas and panini sandwiches and I have been tempted to buy one of these but wasn’t sure which one.  This panini grill has an average rating of 5/5 stars and is now $16 off the regular price until 10th May 2012.  Hamilton beach is also a very good reputable name in counter top small appliances so I might just have to pick up one of these for myself!

    Amazon Canada: Sunbeam 2LB Breadmaker – $58.26 (Was $84.99)

Amazon Canada: Sunbeam 2LB Breadmaker $58.26 (Was $84.99)

If you are wanting to save money by making your own bread, this is a fabulous deal. You can also save money on a breadmaker from Amazon Canada. Get a Sunbeam 2LB Breadmaker for only $58.26, which is 31% off the regular price of $84.99.

This bread maker has an average of 4/5 stars with 38 reviews.

Here is part of a review from Amazon:

This bread machine is just great. I got it to replace my old one as the old one didn’t make good whole wheat bread. This one makes excellent whole wheat bread. I’ve made different types of rye, white and whole wheat bread (from 250 Best Canadian Bread Machine Baking Recipes), as well as the french loaf from the included recipe book. They all slide out really easily since the pan has a teflon coating on it. I’ve even made the jam recipe in the included book (which didn’t stick but just poured out).

I so want that recipe book they mentioned!
