I am one of those weird people who shops at American Apparel. I love getting a cool piece to mix & match with my usual wardrobe. If you are looking for ideas… these are some of the recent things to hit my wardrobe: Sheer Rib Lace Raglan (got it in Navy, looks awesome with diff coloured camisole underneath) and the Circle Scarf.. doubles as a hood, a scarf, a shawl… so nice. If you are in store, the 15% off is certainly a decent bonus.

My favourite new pack would have to be the Full Woven Skirt 3-pack. It cuts the price down by 21% to only $90, or $30 per skirt.. which is a decent price for a nice skirt. They have very pretty colours and several colour combo choices for the pack so I am very pleased with it!

I tried it on a test order at the checkout and it knocked 25% off the cost of my clothing.

American Apparel has some really unique pieces… but I am not personally a huge fan of them. I can’t really see myself in this Nylon Spandex Micro-Mesh Jumpsuit!

Someone is going to be VERY popular if they wore half of what was in this selection that AA considers ‘camp’ clothing! On the plus side, there is a wide selection of items for you to choose from, and some of them you can even wear out of the house! They have good selection of hoodies (and in so many colours you can blink many eyes at) and who doesn’t need a stylish poncho just incase it rains?

Personally I am just trying to figure our how American Apparel qualifies these lace ribbon lingerie shorts as camp wear. Maybe they are for the girls you never see back in their cabins in between check in, and check out!

American Apparel has sent out a notice saying they are now offering your choice of a free gift with purchase, as long as that purchase is $100 or more. The value of the free gift ranges from $15.00 to $33.00 depending on which item you pick, so there is decent value to be had.

How their free gifts work is you add the item to your cart and then use the coupon code you see displayed on that item and input it in the checkout and it will deduct the cost of the item from your cart. Thus, the item becomes free.

As per usual American Apparel offers free shipping with a $75 spend.

I have mentioned before how I like some of AA’s clothing, specifically their Jersey V-neck bodysuits (I have several). I still plan to get a couple of their Multilayered Reversible Lace Petticoats in the future.

However, they recently released a Chiffon Double-Layered Full Length Skirt (pictured right) that looks very tempting. I must visit my local American Apparel to try it on!
