Altitude Sports: Up to 50% Off & Extra 5% Off with CAA

Altitude Sports: Up to 50% Off & Extra 5% Off with CAA

Altitude Sports is offering up to 50% off clothing, gear, accessories, and outerwear right now. This sale includes brands like Bogs, Saxx, Columbia, Merrell, and more. On top of that, you can receive a bonus 5% off with coupon code CAA5AAA – when you write your membership number in the order commentary.  Receive free shipping on orders of $49.

Altitude Sports is a great place to pick up some of your favourite brands. If you are not too familiar with the company, they are the ‘parent’ company of The Last Hunt – which sort of acts as their outlet. However, Altitude Sports does have sales too. There is currently a large selection of children’s Kamik rain boots on sale for 50% off. The Kid’s Octopus Rain Boots were $32.99 and are now $16.50. Both the Kid’s Stomp and the Youth’s Stomp were $30.99 and are now $15.50 each. The Stomp is a great basic rain boot but the Octopus is so cute I could die. <3 Read the rest of this entry »

Altitude Sports Canada: Columbia Infant Frosty Freeze Bunting Was $80 | Now $38 + Shipping (EXPIRED)

Posted by on January 15, 2015 at 10:33 AM

Altitude Sports Canada: Columbia Infant Frosty Freeze Bunting Was $80 | Now $38 + Shipping (EXPIRED)

If you are expecting or expecting to be expecting in the fall, you might need something to bundle your little one up in. Altitude Sports has a fantastic deal on the Columbia Infant’s Frosty Freeze bunting bag, regularly $79.99, on sale for $40, but if you use the coupon code CAA5AAA, you’ll get another 5% off, which brings your total down to $38. Also, if you become a member, you’ll get another 5% off.

If I was having a baby, I’d definitely be picking up this deal. Columbia is known for their warm outerwear and when you have a teeny infant, you want to keep them as warm as possible as they lose heat way faster than we do. This is the perfect all-in-one way to bundle them up for the great Canadian outdoors. I like that you can just put them in this and carry them from place to place and just unzip them if they fall asleep. Altitude calls it the “cocoon of warmth”.

The shell fabric is water resistant, so even in the rain, baby will stay dry. The interior fabric is made from faux-down insulation and has a plush fleece lining. You can fold the feet and hands over to keep them covered or uncover them when you need to.

There are limited sizes/colours for this – with the navy in 0-3 months and the groovy pink in 3-6 months.

Shopping around, I found this was the best price out there for this item. Sportchek is selling it for $54.99 and their sizes/colours are also limited. Columbia Sportswear is selling it for $59.99, although they do have the largest selection of colours and sizes. Cabelas has it at the highest price of $69.99.

Shipping is free on orders over $49, so you might want to find something for about $15 to get your total over the minimum for free shipping.

If you need an example, check out this Minigauge beanie, which was $27.99 and now $18.19.

Altitude Sports Canada: 50% Off The North Face

Posted by on September 5, 2014 at 2:30 PM

Altitude Sports Canada: 50% Off The North Face

Altitude Sports is having a blueberry sale. I’m not sure why they titled it the Blueberry sale, but it sounds fun. Anyway, as part of the deals, they are offering 50% off a number of The North Face items. This is the perfect time to pick up a winter coat at half the price!

My husband is in bad need of a winter coat as he tells me he doesn’t really have one. I have bought him a few, but he doesn’t like them or says they aren’t warm enough. He is a very “cold” person, cranking the heat in the van, using six blankets to sleep and always wearing layers. He needs a jacket meant for Canadian winters, but for a person who even though born in Canada, can’t handle our winters. I think The North Face might be just the ticket.

While the men’s verto storm jacket is meant for rock-climbing and alpine climbing and there is no way in heck my husband will do either, this jacket looks might nice, especially at the new price. This jacket was $229, and now $115, which is a solid steal. Orange, blue or black?

Coats aren’t all that is on the plate for this sale though. I love this women’s Laurella tank, especially the crocheted detailing at the back. I also love the multitude of colours it comes in. This one was $44.99, now $22.50.

If your kids need a some shorts for gym class like mine do, check out these boy’s Hot Springs class V hot springs short, now $16.49 with a regular price of $29.99 and for the girls, check out these girl’s velocitee shorts, also $16.49, with a regular price of $29.99. I love the black and pink on those.

Shipping is free on orders over $49, which is nice and low so you don’t have to fill your cart with anything you didn’t want to avoid that charge.

Altitude Sports Canada: Free Shipping & Returns On Bags

Altitude Sports Canada: Free Shipping & Returns On Bags

It is that time we all dread, time to start back to school shopping! Kids hate it because, you know, they have to go back to school. Parents hate it, because they have to take out their wallets and buy their kids all the latest in clothing, footwear and other back to school items. One of the most important items for back to school is a bag. You want your kid to keep their stuff safe while they go back and forth to school, and they want to look good doing it. Altitude Sports is offering free shipping on all bags right now. Regularly, you’d get free shipping on orders over $49, so this is nice because you might not want a bag over $50 and you don’t want to pay shipping for it.

While there are a number of bags in the school bag section for over $50 and some even over $100, you can get some that are less than $40. I wouldn’t spend over $50 to outfit my child with a backpack, especially since I have three boys, unless they were climbing a mountain, which they aren’t.

This The North Face Jester bag is on sale, which means you get a sale on top of a sale, which I love. It was $64.99, now only $45.49. This is a really high-quality bag with features galore like bungee cords for carrying coats or sports equipment and internal organization slots. It also has excellent reviews.

As a child, I loved pink accessories. I would have loved this bright pink JanSport overexposed backpack. It is just a simple bag with padded straps and there are lots of other hot colours for both boys and girls. It is priced at $34.99 and it will ship for free.

Travel bags are also shipping free, so you might want to take a look at what’s on offer in this section.

Returns are also free, so if you decide the bag isn’t the right one for you, send it back with no charge. Don’t forget to add any coupon codes you can to make your order even that much more sweeter.

Altitude Sports Canada: 35% Off Merrell

Posted by on July 5, 2014 at 11:30 AM

Altitude Sports Canada: 35% Off Merrell

Altitude Sports has a fantastic deal on if you are looking for some good-quality shoes for the whole family. Merrell is 35% off right now, which is a superb discount considering that this brand of shoes is pricey.

It is no secret that I have back issues, as I’ve blogged about it a number of times. It is mainly due to a lack of core muscle strength and posture, but it is also my footwear. If I wear flip-flops or other flat shoes, my back can get worse. Standing for long periods of time in particular means so much pain for me. I’ve been to a number of professionals and my chiropractor suggested Merrell brand of shoes and sandals as a good support for my body. I did buy a pair of sandals, which have stayed in fantastic condition for over $80 (gulp) and I even had a neighbour buy the same ones because she loved the style. I would never recommend buying the same shoes as someone else, as that is like infringing on their style, but I guess I could take it as a compliment and so could Merrell!

I need a new pair of runners and I see quite a few pairs that fit the bill (literally). I love these Ascend glove shoes, for the colour and for the fact that they’ll last on long runs and demanding terrain. It has an integrated odour prevention technology, which I think is so important as sweaty feet smells are nasty. I’m going to have to see if the kid’s shoes have this feature too, as my kids have the smelliest feet around I think! These shoes were $139.99, now $90.99. Unfortunately, the kids shoes are not included in this sale.

While my sandals are still kicking, variety is key in footwear. I love these enoki strap sandals, which are perfect for walking in wet weather or at the beach or pool. These were $99.99, but you’ll save $25 and pay only $74.99.

Get free shipping on orders over $49, so most Merrell shoe purchases will get free shipping too.

  • Discount: 25% off two items or more
  • Expiry: 25th June 2014

Altitude Sports is also offering free shipping with your $49+ purchase until July 7th. Normally, you’d have to spend $100 to get free shipping, so this allows you to check out any hot sales where you wouldn’t have spent $50 and save those shipping charges, like the one offered with these coupon codes. They are billing this sale as one where you can buy whatever you want, try it on, and if you don’t like it or it doesn’t fit, you just send it back for free.

While these coupon codes are for a significant amount off, like a good Mooser, you should always price compare what you are buying. I price compared a few things on their site after adding the coupon code and they didn’t always come out on top.

I found these Salomon men’s Speedcross 3 runners, that were $134.99 regularly, and are have a more expensive regular price than other stores I price compared at, but with discount, came down to $107.99, which was the cheapest I could find them.

The same went for this girl’s Marlowe pullover hoodie, where the regular price of $59.99 was higher than the competitors, but if you bought two, you could get it for $44.99 each, which is a nice savings.

If the codes I’ve posted above don’t meet your fancy, check out our Altitude Sports coupon code page on their site with tons of other codes that might work better for you.

If you are a seasoned or a beginning runner, you probably need gear. Although running is probably one of the cheapest sports there is, there are some essentials you’ll need, especially now that the weather is turning cool.

It is pretty hard to run in a bulky winter coat, plus, you wouldn’t want to because you’d sweat and get more cold anyway. A perfect jacket for cool weather is this Arc’teryx men’s Celeris jacket. It is ultra-light and moisture-wicking, so when you do sweat under those layers, it won’t be stuck to your skin. Was $134.99, now $107.99.

Running on dark trails is not this anxious girl’s thing, but if you like that sort of thing, check out this Petzl Tikka XP 2 lamp. Was $50.99, now $40.79.

Altitude Sports Canada: Free Shipping on $100 & Free Returns

Posted by on October 15, 2013 at 11:30 PM

Altitude Sports Canada: Free Shipping on $100 & Free Returns

Altitude Sports is now offering free shipping on $100 and free returns across Canada.

They have the largest selection of winter and outdoor gear I have seen on any one website!

Many of us have winter coats that are either too big or too small for us now and many of them are still in good condition. I highly recommend taking advantage of their One Jacket Two Stories offer where you buy a return shipping label for $4.99. With this label you send them your insulated jacket in good condition to be donated to someone in use. For your donation they will give you a $75 discount applicable on a new insulated jacket. Because you bought the label in the first place you are essentially $70 to the positive on the deal. You can redeem that voucher on any insulated jackets that have a retail value of $250 or more. For example this Peak Performance Women’s Frost Down Liner Jacket is $259.99 but after your $75 discount it would become $184.99 and it would ship for free. If it didn’t fit or you didn’t like the colour combination you could also return it for free with no worries.

Eva had blogged about this company back in September. She mentioned that for $24.99 you can buy a lifetime membership that will give you 5% off all of your purchases. It is certainly something to keep in mind as 5% off winter gear can add up quickly.

While browsing their website I had a little pop-up window tell me that if you subscribe to their newsletter you can get $10 off your next purchase. I would check that out if I were you!

With winter coming, you probably have to get your kids some warmer clothes, just as I do. Luckily for me, I mainly only shop for my oldest right now, and he passes most items down to his brothers, with the exception of most boots and shoes and anything that gets really worn out. I do notice as they get older, they are tougher on their clothes, so I’m sure I only have a few more years of everything getting handed down.

If I did have to buy for all three kids, this deal would be fantastic, since the more you buy, the more you save. I guess I’ll just have to buy three items for my oldest. I have having reasons to shop. Actually, no I don’t.

Altitude Sports sells everything from the coats to the mitts and the hats to the boots and shoes. You could completely outfit your child with the best name brands, so you know they are warm and not standing there shivering every recess. Just make sure you label it, since you will spend more than you would on cheaper brands. Even if you are getting 25% off, the last thing you want is to find it (or not find it) at the bottom of the lost and found bin. Trust me, I’ve seen everything in those bins, including Canada Goose coats!

Spend over $100 and you’ll get free shipping.

While you’re here, don’t forget to take a peek at the Bargainmoose forum, where we keep all these awesome Altitude Sports coupons.
