Roam Mobility: Super Cheap Talk+Text+Data Plans for Travelling to the U.S.

Get super cheap talk, text and data with Roam Mobility’s U.S. phone plans!

I’ve been looking for this service forever. Every time I go to the states I call Bell in the vain hope that I won’t have to pay an insane amount of money for almost no service. It never happens. I always end up just turning off my data and using my talk and text extremely sparingly. Roam Mobility offers super cheap plans that can include talk, text and data, just talk and text or just data for super cheap while you’re travelling to the states. Make sure you check out their plans.

You need to pick up either a $19.99 SIM for your unlocked phone, a $49.99 Roam Mobility Breeze phone or a $99.99 Liberty mobile hotspot from their products page then you get a plan to cover the number of days and amount of data you’ll need for your trip to the states. The plans, like I mentioned, are super cheap so make sure you check them out. I will definitely be getting one of these for my next U.S. shopping trip coming up around March. I might even get two so my wife can have one too.

AT&T also has a prepaid $3/day plan, except it includes unlimited talk, text, and data! I’m not sure if it is just country-wide calling, however, with data, there are many apps you can use to make a call back to Canada.
The sim card is only $10 for an unlocked phone.

WIND mobile actually has very good roaming rates in the US for talk & text. Not sure about the data, I usually just use the free wifi that is offered in almost all public places there. Also their coverage is much better than in Canada since they use all the major US carriers.
Will definitely look into this for hubby who has a horrible roaming plan with his carrier.
    Thanks for the heads up
