Puma Canada has discounted these great summer Epic Pixie Women’s Sandals from $31.50 down to $22.50 with free shipping on all orders this weekend.
All prices are in USD. Usually an individual deal like this would not be worth blogging about because Puma charges $9.95 for shipping unless you hit a minimum of anywhere from $99 to $149 depending on the week. However, they are having a free shipping weekend starting today so you can pick up these great little sandals on sale and get your order shipping free with no minimum required.
This sandal is perfect for the beach, post-workout, or bumming around the backyard. The sandal features a woven textile strap and both a cushioned EVA foot bed and EVA outsole for comfort. It comes in two colours: Barberry, which is a pink ice cream colour and Quarry, which is a light purple with light yellow accents on the woven strap. I rather like the quarry colour myself.
Quarry is available in sizes 5.5, 7.5, and 8.5. Barberry also has size 9.5 in stock. I find it odd that these shoes come in half sizes instead of full sizes. However, I always tend to be between a seven and an eight myself, a 7.5 would probably be a perfect fit, as I would wear these barefoot.
I plan to spend an inordinate amount of time on a beach this summer. This will be my first year in five long years that I will not be returning to university in the fall so I plan to make the most of it: first by sleeping, then by bathing my feet in the ocean. Beaches can be dangerous places for going barefoot: even if it is a relatively clean beach, there can still be sharp rocks, driftwood, and the odd jellyfish you really do not want to step on. A pair of sandals is necessary. When buying sandals for the beach, it is best to avoid leather… as repeated contact with water and then drying will cause leather to shrink. EVO is a good idea because it floats, so if a wave catches your sandals you can chase them down.
While on Puma’s website, check out the rest of their sale with up to 30% off select items. With no minimum for free shipping, this is a great time to pick up a sale shirt or pair of shoes that would usually fall under the shipping minimum. You will incur no duties ordering from Puma.
