Amazon Canada: Uno Moo Preschool Game Only Was $25 | Now $12.49 (EXPIRED)

Amazon Canada: Uno Moo Preschool Game Only Was $25 | Now $12.49 (EXPIRED)

Amazon has a truck-load of board games on sale right now and I don’t know about you, but board games are always on my to-buy list for my kids and for other family members. Uno Moo is now on for only $12.49, with a regular price of $24.99, which is 50% off.

Every year my in-laws and our family give each other a family board game to enjoy as a Christmas gift. With seven kids between the two families, neither of us can afford to buy each kid a gift, but we find it is always nice to get each other something that the whole family can enjoy. Both families enjoy board games and my family often has family board game night, so this really is a perfect gift. I also like it because they will sometimes get us games we hadn’t heard of that their family loves and our family ends up loving it too.

While Uno Moo is a preschool game and neither of our families has preschool children any longer, I still wanted to blog it for all you Moosers with young children. I have had this game for years and it is definitely a winner. My kids still play it on a regular basis and it is easy enough for them to play without parental supervision. It is a cute way of learning colours, animals and patterns, plus the basics of playing a game and taking turns. Kids as young as two can play this game, and maybe even some sharp one-year-olds.

I also really like that this game is transportable and easy to take wherever you go.

Walmart sells this game for $19.97 and while I couldn’t find it on Toys R Us’s website, I know they have it in-store at regular price.

Since shipping is free on a $25 purchase, you might as well check out the other hot games deals going on. The Catan Expansion kits are also on sale for only $26.99, with a regular price of $47.04 for the Cities and Knights and $15.99 with a regular price of $22.40 for the regular extension.

Thyme Maternity Canada: $20 Relaxed Maternity Jeans + EXTRA 30% Off – Now $14 (Free Shipping EXPIRED)

Posted by on December 17, 2014 at 10:30 AM

Thyme Maternity Canada: $20 Relaxed Maternity Jeans + EXTRA 30% Off Now $14 (Free Shipping EXPIRED)

Pregnancy during the holidays isn’t easy… in between the big belly and all of the holiday dinners, if you’re pregnant, you’re going to need some comfy pants. Luckily, the relaxed maternity jeans are on sale for just $19.99 (reg. $69). Since all sale items get reduced by an additional 30% off at checkout, these jeans can be yours for an even lower price tag of just $13.99! Even better is that today only, shipping is free on absolutely all orders with no required minimum!

When I was pregnant over the holidays last year, I tried to turn my regular pants into maternity ones by looping an elastic through the buttonhole in an effort to make more room for my ever-expanding belly. Admittedly, it worked for a bit but soon enough, I found myself undoing the whole contraption altogether, especially after a big meal with friends. But since doing so discreetly becomes harder the further you get along in your pregnancy, maternity jeans are a must-have item!

The Thyme Maternity maternity jeans have a relaxed feel to them and you won’t have to worry about any pesky buttons as it features a 3-in-1 panel, which can be worn either under, mid or over the belly. Pregnancy jeans can be quite costly so $14 is actually a really amazing deal. Thyme Maternity Canada: $20 Relaxed Maternity Jeans + EXTRA 30% Off Now $14 (Free Shipping EXPIRED)

As I already mentioned, shipping is free on any order today only. Thyme Maternity usually only ships over $100 for free, so this is definitely a fabulous opportunity to snag a couple of pieces without having to go overboard. Although it’s only available in a medium size, I also spotted the “La Vie Est Belle” maternity t-shirt. It’s on sale for $9.99 (reg. $39), which means that it comes down to an even lower price of just $6.99 at checkout. It’s made from a stretchy material, which means that it won’t be too tight on the belly.

Speaking of which, even if you’re not pregnant but know someone who is, then you could also grab something for the mommy-to-be to give for Christmas. That’s what a friend of mine did for me last year and I can’t tell you how grateful I was. I ended up wearing each piece that she got me, especially after all of my regular clothes stopped fitting!

Toys R Us Canada: Disney Frozen Elsa Dress Was $30 | Now $15

Posted by on December 17, 2014 at 9:04 AM

Toys R Us Canada: Disney Frozen Elsa Dress Was $30 | Now $15

Toys R Us has a great 3-day sale on right now and they’ve got some prime items on sale. One item of definite interest is this Disney Frozen Elsa dress, which has a regular price of $29.99 and now sells for $14.94.

If you’ve got a little girl who loves Frozen and loves dressing up, this gift is a no-brainer. My boys love dressing up and they have a giant dress-up chest. Honestly, they don’t want to be Elsa, but I have a niece who sure does. I know she already has this Elsa dress or else Auntie Eva would be getting it for her at this low price, this year.

Even if your child hasn’t seen Frozen, this is a super cute dress-up dress with a multi-layer skirt and covered with glittery snowflakes. This might even be something to wear to a Christmas concert. While it might be too late for that this year, you could save it for next year. It has no buttons or zippers and is just very easy for her to pull over her own head.

While my kids love dressing up, my youngest son has trouble getting on the costumes although he can take them off quite easily. So when he is hot, he takes it off, then five minutes later is again asking for my help. With this Elsa dress, you don’t have to worry about that, as she can easily get it on and off.

There are good reviews for this dress, although they say the sleeves are itchy. You can circumvent that by having her wear something else underneath. I shopped around for this exact dress and found it for $30 at Walmart and Amazon, so this is a fantastic price.

If your child is actually a fan of Anna and not Elsa, her dress is on sale for the same price.

Other Frozen items of note during this sale include the Elsa styling head, which was $24.99, now $17.47 and Anna styling head, which is the same price.

You might want to look through all of the items on sale to get your shipping up to the $25 minimum for free shipping. If you wanted to make sure you got it before Christmas, you could do the free in-store pickup.

Santa, I Know Him! Shipping Deadlines For Christmas Shopping Online in Canada

Posted by on December 16, 2014 at 8:00 PM

Santa, I Know Him! Shipping Deadlines For Christmas Shopping Online in Canada

“Hark! How the bells… sweet silver bells… all seem to say… throw cares away.” Christmas is coming like a freight train. If you have not purchased all of the gifts you want before the holidays, now is the time to finish your list. If you do not like battling the crowds in the stores close to the holidays, knowing these shipping deadlines is important to make sure you have everything you want by Christmas. The longer you wait, the more you will pay in shipping costs.

Items Will Arrive Before December 25th – Standard Shipping  Still Applies

Please note additional deadlines for Express or Next Day are included if available

  • Dell (December 16th) Dell has standard 3-5 day business shipping. If you order by December 16th it will get there by Christmas.  For two day shipping in time for Christmas you can order by December 21st. To get an item next day in time for Christmas you have until December 22nd at 12 noon to order!
  • Homedepot.ca (December 16th-December 17th) Dates vary widely by region for this retailer. If you want an item from Home Depot online by Christmas check the link closely and act fast!
  • Hudsons Bay (December 16th-December 22nd) Hudson’s Bay is offering standard shipping up until the last possible moment. Deadlines to order an item are dependent on your region. Express shipping and next day delivery for most locations is available up until December 23rd. Free pickup in store deadlines vary from December 19th to December 22nd.
  • Sony.ca (December 17th) Most items ship in time for Christmas if you order by December 17th and free standard ground shipping will still apply. Express 2-day shipping orders must be ordered by December 19th.  Rush one day shipping on orders must be ordered by December 21st.
  • Amazon (December 18th) Amazon has regular delivery offered by Christmas if you order on or before December 18th (December 16th if you’re in a rural area!). Two day shipping is available up through December 22nd. One day shipping if you order before December 23rd by noon is available. Same day shipping is available on December 24th if you order before noon.  Amazon is a shipping champion!
  • Staples.ca (December 18th) All items that have an expected shipping date of 1 business day will arrive in time for Christmas if you order by December 18th. If your item says 2 or more business days however, Staples says you need to allow extra time. I would not count on an item marked 2 or more business days arriving in time for Christmas.
  • The Source (December 19th-December 22nd) The Source has standard shipping deadlines starting on December 19th – December 22nd depending on your location. Express shipping is available and the deadline varies between December 21st and December 22nd based on location. A few select areas have a December 23rd deadlines by noon for express shipping orders. You can also pick up your order at will call centres in store up until December 24th, but you must have the order placed by 8:00am on December 24th. Will call centres are open until 3pm on December 24th. You can also pick up at will call centres on December 26th.
  • Newegg.ca (December 19th) While free shipping isn’t available for Newegg, you can still get 3 day shipping in time for Christmas if you order before December 19th. Two day shipping is available if you order by December 22nd. One day shipping is also available if you order by December 23rd.
  • Old Navy (December 21st at noon) Old Navy will allow you to place your order up until December 21st at noon to receive standard shipping delivery in time for Christmas. Rural areas had until December 15th at 2pm to order in time for Christmas. Old Navy will also offer free standard shipping on orders over $50 through December 21st. 2 day shipping deadline for delivery by Christmas is December 22nd by 2pm. One day shipping for delivery by Christmas is December 23rd by 2pm.
  • Future Shop (Estimated December 21 for GTA but varies) Future Shop is making it as easy as possible on us to shop. On their site is a little tool that tells you exactly how many days you have left to order. For Toronto you have a generous 7 days left to order, but for other locations it varies. Free standard shipping for all orders over $25! Click on the link and see how many days you have left to order.
  • Best Buy (Estimated December 21 for GTA but varies) Sister company to Future Shop, Best Buy is also making it as easy as possible on us to shop. On their site is a little tool that tells you exactly how many days you have left to order. For Toronto you have a generous 7 days left to order, but for other locations it varies. Free standard shipping for orders over $25! Click on the link and see how many days you have left to order.

Items Will Arrive Before December 25th With Express Shipping or Ship to Store Only

  • Sears.ca (December 16th or December 17th) The deadline to order from Sears varies based on your location, so make sure you double-check the link. Most locations have a Christmas deadline of either December 16 or December 17 to have an item shipped to store in time for Christmas, and shipping to store is free. To ship to your home some items will ship in time, others will not and there is a lot of variation across items. Check carefully as you checkout.
  • SportChek  (December 19th) Order by December 19th via express shipping and you’ll have your present in time for Christmas morning. The regular shipping deadline has now passed, so free shipping will no longer apply to get it in time for Christmas.
  • Chapters Indigo (December 23rd) Chapters Indigo will let you pay premium shipping to get an item in time for the holiday up until December 18th. If you are in the GTA only you can have it shipped to your home free with basic shipping if you order by December 18th. Chapters Indigo also offers a next day shipping that will be expensive depending on the order, but you can order up until December 23 and still get your present to most major urban areas.

Shipping In Time For Christmas Is Based On The Item You Order and Your Location

  • Walmart (dates vary by item) Free shipping at Walmart has now passed if you want your order by Christmas. Walmart will let you express ship items more quickly, but they cannot guarantee all items. Each item will give you an estimated shipping date, so it makes it harder to even approximate. Shipping is also free to Canada Post or other “Grab and Go” locations, which vary by region. Overall some great deals here but they will not guarantee you will get all your items by Christmas unless stated when you add it to your cart. Walmart tends to be quick with their shipping, so it may still make it in time for the big day.
  • Canadian Tire (dates vary by item and location) Canadian Tire really wants to get you into their store. Many of the items for sale are available only in store. Canadian Tire is encouraging participation in their pay and pick up in store program. If you want to purchase an item from Canadian Tire, you will have to check your specific item and location on their website. You may also want to consider visiting their stores if it is something you need.
  • The Brick (dates vary by item and location) The Brick’s shipping and delivery is all based on stores and warehouses that are close to you. For this retailer you will have to check the specific item you are looking for and shipping will depend on the location you live in.
  • Costco.ca (varies but estimated December 16th) Costco items all vary based on the item you choose and the location you’re in. Most items seem to estimate 3-7 business day delivery, but the amount of time can vary. You will need to add an item to your cart to find out if it will make it to you house in time for Santa’s deadline.
  • Shop.ca (varies but estimated December 16th) Shop.ca is continuing to use their standard business practice of shipping within 3-7 business days for the holiday season. That makes it harder for us who are ordering close to the Christmas deadline. 3-7 days is a big date range for Santa. Each item should tell you how long it would take to ship, but to guarantee an item by Christmas my estimate is you need to order by December 16th.
  • Toys R Us (estimated December 19th) Toys R US shipping policies say most of their items ship from the warehouse in 2-4 business days, but shipping varies per item. If I was ordering and I had to have something from Toys R Us for Christmas, I would go in the store to guarantee I had it or buy somewhere else.

That’s a lot of shopping Moosers! Where are you doing your last minute shopping online?

82% Off Medium Rise Skinny Jeans + EXTRA 20% Off @ Parasuco Jeans – Just $20 (+ Free Shipping!)

Posted by on December 16, 2014 at 7:15 PM

82% Off Medium Rise Skinny Jeans + EXTRA 20% Off @ Parasuco Jeans Just $20 (+ Free Shipping!)

Looking around Parasuco’s sale section, I spotted the medium rise skinny jeans on sale for just $24.99. At checkout, these jeans get reduced by an additional 20% off to just $19.98. They were originally priced at $135, which means that you’re looking at 85% in total savings! Plus, you can have them shipped for free right now!

Available in all sizes from 23 to 32 with a 34 inseam, you have the choice between the following three colours: yellow, blue or pink. As you can see in the picture above, all of these are in a pastel hue. Although this jean may not be the most season appropriate right now, I thought it was a great deal to mention, especially since shopping out of season is the best way to save some money! If you get these now in each colour, then you will be pretty set once summer comes. 82% Off Medium Rise Skinny Jeans + EXTRA 20% Off @ Parasuco Jeans Just $20 (+ Free Shipping!)

For the same price of $19.98, I also spotted the 8SoficB medium rise skinny jeans. Just like the other ones, they’re on sale for $24.98 but get reduced more at checkout. The only difference between these and the aforementioned ones is that they’re reversible. So you can either wear them as yellow jeans or turn them inside out to make them primarily white with a yellow outline. I debated between which jeans to feature but since these ones were originally priced at $120, I decided to go with the ones that yielded a higher discount. Both are very hot buys, however, and if you’re in need of jeans, then I definitely suggest snagging both as soon as possible.

As I already mentioned, these jeans currently qualify for a free shipping promotion. Usually, shipping is only free on orders over $150 at Parasuco but for a limited time, they’re offering free shipping on any order, no matter the minimum!

In fact, if you want to get a cheap tank, then check out the 8Eturna. Since it’s on sale for $14.98 (reg. $65), it will come down to just $11.98 at checkout. While it may feature an elegant style in the front, it has more of a “business up front, party in the back” kind of feel. If you click over to the back of the shirt, you will see what I mean. It reminded me of Sons of Anarchy, but that may be because I just finished watching the finale the other day.

Best Buy Canada: ObusForme Handheld Massager Was $99 | Now $35

Posted by on December 16, 2014 at 3:43 PM

Best Buy Canada: ObusForme Handheld Massager Was $99 | Now $35

Well, I was going to blog this deal for you that I found at The Source, until when price comparing, I found it even cheaper right now at Best Buy! Get the ObusForm handheld body massager for only $34.99, with a regular price of $99.99 at Best Buy.

With the stress of the holidays looming on my back, I really need a massage! Unfortunately for me, my benefits have run out so I need to wait just a few more weeks to get one and get reimbursed for it. In the meantime, my aching back and shoulders are screaming out for some relief and hubby’s hands just don’t cut it. But, I could pass him this massager and get him to do it with that. I think that would really help get some knots out.

I’d also love this for my middle son, who has trouble getting to sleep and deep pressure works wonders on him. Instead of using my hands, I could massage his back with this. It says it gives 3,000 pulses per minute, which sounds pretty good to me. I can even do it myself as there is an extension arm.

It has really great reviews like:

I bought the body massager for my aching legs. They work really well as I feel better after massaging my legs. They are also great for all over body massage, specially the back. I got this on sale from Best Buy for half price. Lucky me. The only cons was the 3″ arm extension. If you try to close it fast, part of your hand can get caught and will hurt you. But once you’ve done it a few times, you’ll always remember to close it slowly. Best Buy Canada: ObusForme Handheld Massager Was $99 | Now $35

It sells at Walmart for $78, at Well.ca for $99 and at The Source on sale right now for $50.

Another way you can tell when something is a hot deal is that it goes in my cart, and this one did. I know Best Buy ships quickly so I think I’ll get this by Christmas even though I didn’t get any shipping details. It will also ship for free being over the $25 minimum.

Free Gifts with $50 Toy Purchase @ Future Shop ($10 Value)

Posted by on December 16, 2014 at 3:15 PM

Free Gifts with $50 Toy Purchase @ Future Shop ($10 Value)

Score two free gifts valued at $4.99 each when you spend $50 or more on toys at Future Shop Canada.

I love getting free stuff when I buy items, so having two gifts with a $50 toy purchase is really cool. You will need to add both of these items to your cart so they can be discounted at checkout.

These are your two free gifts:

  1. Mattel Apptivity Angry Birds King Pig - $4.99 value

This single pack includes an iPad conductive base and the Angry Birds King Pig. With it, you can use them with the associated Angry Birds iPad app to launch your piggy across the screen. A fun little toy like this would make a great stocking-stuffer.

  1. Words With Friends Race Board Game – $4.99 value

My husband is a Words with Friends addict, so I understand the appeal of this fun little freebie. No board is needed in this speed version of Words with Friends, just play words as fast as you can with the 100 tiles included. Tiles come in two different colours so it is easy to tell who made what word. Store them in the included tin.

Now that you have seen your free items, let us check out some toy deals.

This Star Wars Mini Lightsaber Dark Side Detector was $19.95, and is now on sale for $9.95. It is a fun toy where you get to build your own mini light saber. If you belong to the light side, your saber will be blue. If you belong to the dark side, then your light saber will turn red.

Looking for an awesome party game based on your favourite geek show? Pick up Cryptozoic Big Bang Theory Board Game for just $9.99, saving you $20! The same game is $35.92 at Walmart so you are scoring quite the deal. Only 10 are left in stock.

For the lovely young women, this Mega Bloks Barbie Build n’ Style Convertible is just $9.99, originally $19.99. Combine it with some of the other deals above and your cart is getting close to that $50 minimum while you are saving a bundle on toys.

For children a bit too young for regular Lego, pick them this LEGO DUPLO Brick Box for just $12.99, originally $17.99. There are 31 pieces including a cat figurine and a dog figurine.

I also think that the Little Tikes Jelly Bean Racer is about the cutest thing ever. It is available in red (see previous link), Green, Orange, or Pink. Originally $22.99, they are now on sale for $15.99. These all cost $19.94 at Walmart Canada right now.

Receive free shipping on orders of $25 or more.

Mark’s Canada: Save up to 50% Off During Their Boxing Week Blowout

Marks Canada: Save up to 50% Off During Their Boxing Week Blowout

Mark’s has started their boxing week blowout early. This means that us Canadians can get started early on the hottest discounts of the year. The Mark’s Canada boxing week blowout sale will allow us to save up to 50% off select regular priced items.

There really is a wide selection of items available on sale at Mark’s during this boxing week blowout promo. You can save up to 50% on lots of items like shoes, apparel and more for men and women.

Gentlemen, if you work outdoors during the winter time (or just want to keep warm), these Windriver T-Max Heat Lined Jeans might be just the thing for you. They were $89.99 but during this boxing week blowout you will find yourself paying only $44.99. If you prefer Cargo Pants, there is that option as well for $10 less.

The only thing my boyfriend asked for this Christmas was a pair of Timberland Boots. If I had not already purchased him a pair, I would definitely be interested in these Timberland Chocura Gor-Tex Mid Cut Hikers that were $150 and now $99.99. These boots look both durable and comfortable, and Timberland is pretty good at meeting both of those expectations.

Ladies, if you are looking for a warm and stylish boot then this might be your chance. All Women’s Denver Hayes boots are 50% off which makes the Denver Hayes Bessy HD2 Suede Mid Cut Fleece Boots an excellent price. Why pay $130 for these boots when you can pay only $65 during the Mark’s Canada boxing week blowout sale. If you prefer low cut boots, they also have this style in the Denver Hayes Bailey Suede Low Cut Fleece Boots for $59.99 but personally I prefer the mid cut style.

All of the men’s Flat Back Rib Knits are also on sale for 30% off which makes for some great priced tops. I like the look of the Denver Hayes Long Sleeve V Neck Fooler – it gives the appearance that a white shirt is being worn underneath! This sweater was priced at $34.99 but not anymore. Now you will pay only $24.49.

If you love sporting active wear around the house and gym as much as I do, then you will love that Mark’s also has all women’s active wear on sale for buy one get one free right now. The items that qualify for this offer have “Buy 1 Get 1 Free” stated below the product image. I think the Denver Hayes Burnout Fleece Sweatshirt can be sported casually and is only $16.88. Add two of these to your cart and the second sweatshirt will be only $8.44.

Unfortunately you had to shop online by December 12th to ensure your delivery arrived in time for the holidays. Mark’s Canada has a flat rate shipping charge of $6.50 plus all applicable taxes.

Here is the full flyer!

Toys R Us: LEGO Space Hive Crawler Was $90 | Now $67

Posted by on December 16, 2014 at 2:40 PM

Toys R Us: LEGO Space Hive Crawler Was $90 | Now $67

Toys R Us is selling the LEGO Galaxy Squad Space Hive Crawler for $67.47 with free shipping. This cool bug like Lego set was originally priced at $89.99.

I did some extensive price comparing as Lego sets are sold at many places. I wanted to make sure you were getting the best deal on a toy such as this, especcialy as a large set like this is often an investment piece. Here is what other companies are selling the set for:

  • $89.99 @ Lego Canada
  • $89.99 @ Future Shop Canada
  • $89.99 @ Best Buy Canada
  • $89.86 @ Walmart Canada
  • $69.45 @ Amazon Canada (7 left)

As you can see, Toys R Us has the best price with Amazon coming in a close second. However, Amazon’s stock is quickly selling out with only seven sets left in stock as of this post. Once it sells out, you would have to wait for the product to be restocked.

Toys R Us not only has a cheaper price by several dollars, it also is still in stock and includes free shipping to your home. For those wanting to get this in time for Christmas, you can choose “Free In-Store Pickup Today” when you checkout. This is an option that Amazon, unfortunately, does not have.

The set includes a ton of cool features including:

2 insectoids and 3 minifigures with weapons: red team leader Billy Starbeam, robot sidekick with jetpack and an alien mantizoid. Features an egg launcher, 2 hatching eggs containing 1 flying and 1 crawling insectoid, razor-sharp moving legs, rotating laser guns, a pinching mouth and an opening cockpit with space for a minifigure.

There are tons of other cool features like blasters and detachable parts that pull double-duty. The Hero’s speedster converts from a sky speeder into a planet speeder.

Overall, this set promises loads of fun. The reviews on Lego sing the set’s praises with the only downside often mentioned is price. Many reviewers think that the set is overpriced – but still completely awesome. This reviewer said:

I have to say that this set is completely awesome. All the pieces are great with many rare pieces for collectors and MOCers (My Own Creation). Plus the leg mechanism and the larva egg launching system just add to the greatness.

Well, now you can save a good chunk of money and still get one of the coolest Lego sets out there. This set has been rated as challenging, and adults have taken around 1.5 to 2 hours to put it together alone. Enjoy!

Costco Canada: BACtrack Element Breathalyzer Was $125 | Now $99

Costco Canada: BACtrack Element Breathalyzer Was $125 | Now $99

With the holidays approaching, there is one thing you really don’t want to have to worry about – drunk drivers! While they say distracted driving is causing more deaths than drunk driving, you still don’t want to be responsible for anyone leaving your home and driving while intoxicated. Costco has the BACtrack Element breathalyzer on sale with $25 off right now, down to $99 and free shipping.

While not the most fun thing to think about, we all need to be responsible over the holidays (and any time really). I’m sure there have been times you’ve had a few at a friend’s house or out for dinner and wondered if you should be driving. I find over the holidays it gets easy for people to over-indulge and do things they normally might not. If you haven’t seen your family in a while or just because you are so festive, you might be having such a good time that you aren’t monitoring your drinking.

Be pro-active and get yourself a breathalyzer to take the guess work out of if you’ve had too much. If you have, then you know you’ll need a cab, a sleepover or someone else to take you home. As well, this would be a good thing to have if you are holding a party – get your guests to blow into the device before they leave. You really don’t want to be responsible for someone else leaving your house and getting on the road when they shouldn’t.

While it only has one review, it is a very helpful one:

Perfect gift for all the conscientious drinkers who want to ensure they are okay to drive, or not! We tried this with males/females and different sizes of people and everyone agreed that it was a really helpful tool for being a responsible driver!

Like the reviewer said, this could also make a great gift for someone you love. Perhaps you have a newly of age teenager and you are worried about them drinking too much. All you can do is give them the tools and hope they use them.

I did price compare and this is the best price on this unit.

Be responsible this holiday season Moosers!

Mexx Coupon Code: Extra 50% Off Discounted Clothing

Posted by on December 16, 2014 at 2:00 PM

Mexx Coupon Code: Extra 50% Off Discounted Clothing

Receive an extra 50% off discounted clothing with Mexx Canada’s newest coupon code.

Click here to shop the outlet @ Mexx Canada now

  • Coupon Code: GETADDITIONAL50DEC
  • Discount: 50% Off
  • Expiry: Unknown

Upon first peak into the outlet section, you may be disheartened; it does not exactly look like the sale items are discounted by very much to begin with. However, that is why we are bargain hunters my dear Moosers! There are indeed some deals to be had if you just paw through enough pages of clothing.

My pick of the litter would be this V-Neck Bodycon dress in white. It is structured with mesh fabric cut outs for a beautiful silhouette. The dress is still available in sizes small and extra-small. Originally $130, the bodycon is on sale for $59.99. After coupon code, you will pay just $29.99 for this beautiful dress. You save $100 on this item alone!

I have two other suggestions from the women’s section. First, the Edgy Printed Maxi Dress is on sale from $130 down to $99.99. After coupon code, pick up this dress for just $49.95. Five sizes are still available so there is a greater chance that this dress will be in your size than the dress above. If you need shorts, then you might also want to check out the Bleached Denim Shorts that will cost $25.95 after coupon code, originally $79.95.

The men’s section is not quite as promising. You can find a bunch of men’s Essential Round Neck cotton T-Shirts for just $14.95 after coupon code, originally $35.95. With five colours to choose from and multiple sizes still in stock, these make a good buy for your basic wardrobe.

In the children’s section, these tank tops are just such a good deal for Mexx brand clothing. Originally $14.95 each, they are now on sale for $8.99. That means you are only paying $4.49 per shirt after coupon. The white and the pink version have a different graphic than the yellow and the blue versions.

While there are some rather sad looking sale prices in the outlet section, there are still some great deals to be found. The 50% off coupon code will make almost anything a decent enough sale, but you know how much we love steep discounts. Mexx Coupon Code: Extra 50% Off Discounted Clothing

Receive free shipping on orders of $75 or more. Orders under $75 will incur an $8 shipping charge.

J. Crew: Mohair Cardigan Was $102.50 | Now $27.59 US & Free Shipping

J. Crew: Mohair Cardigan Was $102.50 | Now $27.59 US & Free Shipping

How I LOVE great deals especially on clothing. While I really should not buy any more clothing until I start to purge my own ample collection, this Mohair cardigan from J. Crew is calling my name! Originally $102.50, it is now on sale for $45.99. After you use the coupon code JINGLE it comes down to $27.59 US with free shipping!

I am really excited about this deal for so many reasons. First of all, mohair is an extremely soft and lightweight material. I bought a scarf made of mohair in Iceland and it is warmth without the weight. I also love how fuzzy it is – but beware a little shedding.

Next, cardigans are fantastic for winter. I do not even own a cardigan, which is what makes me want to buy this deal even more. I am in desperate need of a cardigan to layer over my other shirts to help keep me warm. I would go for a fairly neutral colour, like the mushroom, but you can also buy the cardigan in lavender, blush, or river. Those colours translate over to brown, purple, pink, and blue respectively.

I also appreciate J. Crew’s ample sizing. Cardigans start at size XX-small and go up to size X-large for women of all different sizes.

This cardigan is such a good deal with the extra 40% off and free shipping to Canada thanks to the coupon code. In addition, there is no need to worry about extra fees on J. Crew items as they say in their shipping information:

Taxes will be included in your order total. No additional duties will be applied at checkout or upon delivery.

Your package will come duty free.

Reviewers are pretty torn on the cardigan. While they love the cardigan overall, they find the material rather itchy. I highly recommend washing this garment before wearing it and using a good fabric softener! That should help bring down the itchiness. I know that you are never supposed to wear an item before washing it, but I am a terrible at following through.

The coupon code JINGLE can be used on other items as well. The promo code will give you 30% off regular-priced styles and an extra 40% off sale winter-styles.

All prices are in USD.

Amazon Canada: The Walking Dead Was $160 | Now $50 (EXPIRED)

Amazon Canada: The Walking Dead Was $160 | Now $50 (EXPIRED)

I know so many The Walking Dead fans and it has gotten me intrigued to watch the series myself. This deal is killer and a good time for any fan or person considering becoming a fan to get the series. Get seasons 1 – 3 on blu-ray, plus a t-shirt for only $49.99, with a regular price of $159.99. Also, get the season 4 collector’s edition for only $54.99, with a regular price of $149.99.

The first thing I do before writing a deal for the Moosers is to price compare. A deal is not a deal if other stores have it for the same price or cheaper, even if the inflated regular price says it is hot. But, in this case, Amazon has the cheapest prices.

Consider that Walmart is selling seasons 1-3 with the included t-shirt for $99.99. Future Shop is sold out of those seasons at the $79.99 price point and so is Best Buy.

As for season 4, Future Shop sells it for $89.99 and that’s the only place I could find it. So while Amazon’s regular prices are a bit over the top, they still are by far the best deal on such a hot series.

In fact, just so you know how hot both sets are, the first set is a #1 bestseller in science fiction and fantasy and in shows that start with W, but that’s a bit trivial. It also has fantastic reviews like these ones:

Awesome show!

Lightning quick delivery! Ordered this for my brother’s b-day and he was thoroughly excited about this series so thank you again!

I’m going to vouch for Amazon’s quick delivery. I ordered something on Saturday and got it today, so if you are worried about not getting this before Christmas, I think you will.

Considering that the sets are sold out at Best Buy and Future Shop at a higher price, I’m going to hazard a guess that they will sell out quickly at Amazon as well. They are a lightning deal, so you only have about 13 more hours to shop as well.

Shipping will be free on either set.

FREE Portrait Package @ Walmart Canada ($144 Value)

FREE Portrait Package @ Walmart Canada ($144 Value)

This deal is so hot it is really off the charts! Walmart Canada is offering a free Portrait package worth $144 for you and your family.

You can also print the coupon through the main link. In your free portrait package you will receive:

  • One (1) 11×14″ Wall Portrait
  • One (1) 8×10″ print
  • Two (2) 5×7″ prints
  • Four (4) 3½x5″ prints
  • Ten (10) 4×8″ Greeting Cards
  • Fifteen (15) photo gift tags

You get all of this absolutely for free. I think this is one of my favourite freebies this year because it is just so useful! For your photos, you can choose one pose. There are various enhancements and backgrounds you can choose for your pictures as well.

Now, if you click through the first link above and share the free deal with three of your friends, Walmart will send you a free 16×20″ wall portrait worth $69.99. You will need to fill out your email address as well as the email addresses of three friends and check the box that says:

Yes, I would like you to email me the FREE 16×20 Wall Portrait and other great offers. You can easily unsubscribe at anytime. See our Privacy Policy or contact us below.

It is that simple. That brings your total value up to somewhere around $200 for the free photo package. You can book your appointment via the website so all you need to do is show up with the kids freshly scrubbed and ready. The package is valid for multiple subjects in studio only. You can find Walmart Portrait locations through the store locator here.

This is pretty much the same as the Sears Free portrait package that Margarita mentioned yesterday. Of course, you should get both packs, as they are both free!

The husband and I have not had pictures taken since our wedding, which was 4 and 1/2 years ago. I think this might be a great opportunity to update our photos and send some out to family and friends. I know my mother would be ecstatic to receive fresh photos and she would probably put one up on the piano or the fridge.

Walmart reserves the right to end this promotion at any time.
