Starfrit Canada Promo Code: 40% Off Everything

Are you ready for a major discount? Just in time for the Labour Day week-end, Starfrit, also known as Atlantic Promotions Inc., has released a coupon for 40% off everything!

Click here to shop @ Starfrit.com now

  • Coupon Code: SEPT40
  • Discount: 40% off everything
  • Expiry: 1st September 2014

Upon first finding this coupon code, I have to admit that I severely doubted that it would actually take off 40% off the price of any item on Starfrit’s site but I was definitely pleasantly surprised. I tried it first on the new apple peeler and although it usually retails for $14.99, it came down to $8.99. The cheapest I have found it anywhere else is at Canadian Tire and Sears, where both stores have it for $12.99. I have been meaning to get an apple peeler for some time now as I have used a similar one in the past and loved it. The best part about this one is that it features an apple ejector to quickly remove the peeled apple and it also comes with 2 blades, a corer slicer, and a recipe booklet. Plus, the apple peeler itself also has suction cups underneath, so you won’t have to worry about it tilting all over the place as you try to peel your apples. With apple picking and apple pie season right around the corner, this is definitely a fall must-have!

Another item that I most certainly recommend is the corded salad spinner. I have this same one and I absolutely love it but what I don’t love is that I got it for its full price of $19.99. With Starfrit’s promotion, however, you can get it for a reduced price of $11.99. I make and eat salads practically every day and what I hate the most is wet lettuce. Wiping it with paper towels is all fine and dandy but not only does it take longer, but it also uses up too much paper uselessly, but with the spinner, you can simply throw in your wet lettuce and spin it to remove viritually all of the water. I have also used it for spinach and pre-washed salad mixes that come in container just to make sure that it’s clean.

There are plenty more items to choose from like canning accessories, cutting boards, graters, and even knives, but another thing that surprised me about the code is that I was able to apply it to sets like the La Forge classic 14-piece cookware set. Originally priced at $129.99, it comes down to $77.99. At Walmart, this same set is $129.

Shipping is free on orders over $75. Keep an eye on upcoming Starfrit coupon codes on the Bargainmoose forum.

Newegg Canada: Combat Creatures Battling Spider Robot – Now $50

Posted by on August 29, 2014 at 9:00 PM

Newegg Canada: Combat Creatures Battling Spider Robot Now $50I found a funky toy during the Newegg Canada Labour Day sale. This Combat Creatures Attacknid Stealth Stryder Battling Spider Toy Robot with App-Controlled Battle Brain and Dart Blaster is on sale for just $49.96, down from the original retail price of $199.99. Best of all, the toy spider robot comes with free shipping.

I price compared this toy with a few other places to make sure that you were getting the best deal from Newegg Canada. The Combat Creatures Attacknid Spider Toy Robot is $74.99 at Amazon Canada and $89.99 at Shop.ca. Newegg beats the nearest competitor by $25, so I consider this deal pretty good.

So what IS this thing? Well, it is a robot in the shape of a spider with sex legs and a dart gun mounted on the top for battling your friends or scaring your cat. You control both the robot and the dart blaster via an app you install on your smartphone. The app communicates with the robot via Bluetooth. The app can be downloaded for free on iOS 4.3 and Android 4.0 or later devices.

This robot is so cool it hurts! The head rotates a full 360 degrees, so you can never be caught from behind without being able to rotate around to face your opponent. The dart blaster can fire 12 darts up to 35 feet. However, take three darts directly in the battle brain and you are disabled! The darts can also blast combat armour off the legs with direct hits, and other cool stuff. This is certainly a toy that you want two or more of in your house for ultimate duels.

I checked out the reviews on Amazon Canada, and this one caught my eye as being a fair assessment:

There are a few mechanical things to work out. The armoring can be finicky and you need to be careful when replacing the cylinder. Also putting the stickers on was more hassle than fun. A little more practice and the mischief is legendary. It scares the crap out of my cats but all in good fun.

I think my cat would be quite entertained; maybe a little annoyed but certainly get a lot of exercise with this robot in the house. I would have to be careful with the ammunition though as Mr. Ghost would try to eat it.

This toy looks like a lot of fun; let me know if you pick one up!

Walmart Canada: Select Hooded Towels Now $8 (Was $15)

Posted by on August 29, 2014 at 8:30 PM

Walmart Canada: Select Hooded Towels Now $8 (Was $15)Walmart Canada has a sweet little clearance sale on children’s hooded towels. Originally $14.97, they are now on sale for just $8 with free shipping.

There are six hooded towels still available online. You may be able to get the others in store if you are shopping at your local Walmart this weekend.

First off, we have the Fairies Purple Hooded towel with Tinkerbell in the middle and plenty of beautiful flowers and butterflies around. These towels are about 13×11″ in size and perfect for younger children. Another purple coloured towel, The Princess Sofia Hooded Towel has the princess, a lovely castle in the background, and a blue bird adorning it. The hood portion also features the shadow of a bird. For any young one smitten with the Disney princesses, the Princess Bridge Hooded Towel is just the thing for them. You get three princesses all at once: Belle from Beauty and The Beast, Cinderella from her own movie, and Rapunzel from Tangled. You also get a carriage pulled by horses, a bridge, and a castle. The hood portion has a cute little crown/tiara on it that says ‘princess’ underneath.

A couple other towels lean a little more towards children interested in fast cars and super heroes. First of all, The Avengers Hulk hooded towel will probably be a favourite because the towel itself is printed like Hulk’s muscles and (of course) the towel is very green. Your child will run around the house doing their imitation of a Hulk smash (which may, or may not be a good idea) with this towel. Next, there is the Cars Chevron hooded towel with Lightning Mcqueen on the back.

While the above are all Disney towels, there is one in the sale that stands as an outlier. The Angry Birds Hooded Towel by Rovio Entertainment is designed after the popular smartphone app. let children play their own angry bird with this red towel that has the angry bird face on the hood.

I loved hooded towels when I was a young one, and I am not sure there is a child that does not. They need to make these for adults because my hubby would enjoy the Angry Birds towel; he played all those games for hours on end. I think the Princess Sofia towel is pretty; it is probably my favourite.

Crowdsourcing To Save Money

Crowdsourcing To Save Money

You know the old saying, “Two heads are better than one?” It has always been more true than not, which makes us think, what happens when you get three heads, four heads, five heads or more? Then you really could get things done.

That’s the magic of crowdsourcing. It’s soliciting services, goods, ideas and more from the brain trust of a large group of people and you can use it to save money through the following websites.

Crowdsourcing To Save Money

Fiverr

On Fiverr people with various skills, — writers, artists, graphic designers and more – tell you what they’re willing to do for a mere $5.00. As the potential customer you can see the seller’s rating, look at their average time frame from the job and decide if you want to make an offer. At only $5.00 a job it’s hard to go wrong, especially when professional creatives normally charge hundreds of dollars for some of the jobs on this site.

Crowdsourcing To Save Money

TaskRabbit

TaskRabbit allows you to outsource those necessary but menial tasks to people in your community, so you don’t have to do those things you don’t want to and can reserve your time for something more important. Simply post a task and TaskRabbit will show you their most professional taskers in your area for what you need done and what they charge per hour. Often, you’ll find that taskers offer cheaper rates for tasks like landscaping than a professional lawn care services even with the company’s own 20% service fee. Plus, its safe to trust your tasks to a stranger because every task is insured to $1 million and every tasker must follow TaskRabbit’s strict marketplace guidelines or risk being barred from ever working through the site.

Crowdsourcing To Save Money

RelayRides

RelayRides takes the carpool to the next level by allowing regular people in your community to rent out their car for you to drive for as long as you book it. As a potential renter, all you have to do is pick the perfect car for you, make a reservation, pick up the keys from the owner, refill the tank, return the car at the scheduled time and review the experience. Car owners don’t have to worry because the car is insured by RelayRides while it’s in use. As a consumer, everything but gas is included and all prices and requirements are self-explanatory, so there are no surprises like there are when it comes to dealing with a rental company. On RelayRides, 24 hours with a 2010 Toyota Prius that traveled 150 miles cost $38.00, ($3.80 per mile) plus premium insurance protection for $15.20 for a grand total of $47.00. I have to say, that’s pretty reasonable.

Crowdsourcing To Save Money

Elance and Odesk

Like Fiverr and TaskRabbit, Elance and Odesk use crowdsourcing to help you get things done at a reasonable price. However, on Elance and Odesk you’re not buying a specific job or outsourcing a specific task, you’re hiring freelancers and those freelancers are applying for your job on spec. Of course, you’ll want to offer the lowest price possible, (hence, the money saving) but don’t undercut. Among the grossly unqualified applicants that do exist on these sites, there are some truly professional diamonds in the rough who know what a particular job is really worth, which means if you offer too little, you won’t get quality work from the people who truly know what they’re doing. We recommend doing a little research on typical industry rates for the position you are trying to fill, so the freelancer you hire is not insulted by the rate you offer and actually does the job to the best of their capabilities.

Crowdsourcing To Save Money

99Designs

Say you want a logo, but you’re not a very good artist. No problem, at 99designs you simply write a description of what you want and your assignment gets turned into a design contest where you provide the prize money. The bigger the prize, the more designs you can choose from drawn by professional designers. As the designs come in, you can provide feedback on the designs you like, so they can be refined, but after seven days, you must pick a winner. Once you crown a champion, 99Designs gives out the prize money to the winning designer and you get your logo that you can use (copyright included) for whatever you want. It’s great for the consumer because you can get from 30 to 60 designs to choose from for relatively little effort on your part. Prices range from $299 for the Bronze Package of 30 designs to $1,199 for the Platinum Package of 60 designs from the best designers on the site. So, if you can afford it, 99Designs might be your best option for a professional illustration.

Crowdsourcing To Save Money

Airbnb

Perhaps the original destination for crowdsourced accommodation, Airbnb still makes it easy to rent a room in someone else’s house or apartment in most countries you could be traveling in. Cheaper than a hotel and, at its best, a more local perspective than you can get as a traditional tourist, Airbnb is still the go to for many who utilize the share economy.

Crowdsourcing To Save Money

DesignCrowd

DesignCrowd works similarly to 99Designs without the design contest aspect. Instead you simply have access to a certain number of designs to choose from depending on the tiered pricing model you select. There is still that aspect of designers competing to win your business but it isn’t overtly modelled like a contest. Plus, as a Bargainmoose reader, you have access to an exclusive offer giving you access to 50 free designs within five days as soon as you post a project. Oh, and if you don’t like the designs, you receive your money back for the initial design package you purchased. Use the offer code BMEXCLUSIVE for this deal.

Final Thoughts

Before we conclude, it should be noted that as much as crowdsourcing could be cheaper for the consumer, it relies on a great deal of trust between the parties involved and some people aren’t going to want a stranger traipsing around their house or using their car no matter what safeguards are put in place. It should also be said that many of these sites that outsource jobs, while cheaper for the consumer, take advantage of the service provider by cheapening their skills and putting the economic bar so low that other professionals in the field are unable to compete or make a proper living. So, when you use services like Elance, Odesk and 99designs, think about what is fair, not just what is cheap.

1800Flowers.ca Coupon Code: 20% Off Flowers & Gifts

Posted by on August 29, 2014 at 7:30 PM

1800Flowers.ca Coupon Code: 20% Off Flowers & Gifts

The Labour Day week-end may be on, but it doesn’t mean that you can’t still send a loved one a bouquet of flowers with a gift! Even better, order it at 1800 Flowers and use the code below to get a 20% discount on your order site wide.

Order flowers and gifts @ 1800Flowers.ca now

  • Coupon Code: WKND20
  • Discount: 20% off
  • Expiry: 31st August 2014

A close friend of mine loves to bake and when I saw the birthday flower cake in pastel, I instantly thought of her and I can’t wait for her birthday to come, so that I can surprise her with it. It’s not actually a cake though, and anyways, it wouldn’t feel right buying her a cake when she is such an amazing baker, but it’s actually made of flowers to look like a cake! It’s definitely very original and a gift that surely wouldn’t be forgotten any time soon. No word on if it actually comes with the candles that you can see in the picture above, but in either case, I’m not entirely sure that I would want to light candles and risk ruining the pretty flowers, which feature a variety of mini carnations and poms. Usually priced at $49.99 for a standard size, it comes down to $39.99 with the code above.

There are more than enough different flower bouquets to choose from as well but the one featured on the right on the picture above is the classic all white arrangement. Composed of lilies, orchids, snapdragons and salal, this bouquet ranges from $48 (reg. $59.99), all the way up to $64 (reg. $79.99) for a large. Keep in mind that the large will look more of like the bouquet that you see on the picture, although the selection of flowers may vary regardless, depending on what’s currently in season.

When adding anything to your cart on 1800 Flowers’ site, you will also be given the option of selecting additional gifts, like chocolate, a teddy bear, a Mylar balloon, vases or a specialty card. However, you can also browse the site from their menu for even better option, like the chocolate keepsake, which is an assortment of chocolate within a glass bowl that could be re-used time and time again. It comes down to $28 (reg. $35).

Keep in mind that a $14.99 shipping fee (also called a service fee) applies to every order. If you happen to miss this 1800 Flowers coupon code, then make sure to check out the Bargainmoose forum for more ways to save as there are plenty of other coupon codes as well: some for 15% off, others for $10 off etc.

Shop.ca: Denon Globe Cruiser Headphones only $129.99

Posted by on August 29, 2014 at 12:00 PM

Shop.ca: Denon Globe Cruiser Headphones only $129.99

Edit: I am bumping this thread as the deal is back on, and it is such a good sale price too! Use our exclusive coupon code SHOPMOOSE1050 to take an extra $10 off the headset, bringing the cost down to just $119.99.

If you are into headphones that give you amazing sound, check out the deal on these Denon AH-NCW500BK Globe Cruiser On-Ear Wireless Bluetooth Headphones. Originally $449, they are now on sale for $129.99 with free shipping from Shop.ca.

These headphones originally retailed for over $400, but that was when they first came out. They are most certainly not going for that price now. However, this deal from Shop.ca is still quite good given the price at competitors. Hookbag.ca is selling the Denon headset for $292.95.

Denon, oh you must not get me started on Denon. I own three sets of headphones currently, and I have owned several others over the years. Easily – bar none – my Denon headphones are my favourite. The sound is rich and deep with a well-balanced bass. I can easily locate where different sounds are coming from in the headphones, as the clarity is incredible. The ear pieces are also the most comfortable I have ever worn. While I may drool over other headsets, I think that Denon has won my heart.

These headphones are one-step above mine: they are wireless. I have dreamed of wireless headphones so I am totally ogling these ones. I even just told my husband I want to buy another headset. They are also noise cancelling, which makes them perfect for early morning commuters who use public transit. Block out the sounds of the city and enjoy your own precious noise. The headset also has a control wheel so you can keep your phone in your pocket and just change your music right from the headset. When wireless use is not allowed, there is an included wire for connection. The headphones also feature microphones for talking right in the ear cup.

The Denon headphones fold flat and there is a leather carrying / storage case included that is about the size of an iPad. It also includes the following accessories:

  • detachable audio cable
  • USB micro charging cable
  • airline adapter

You totally read that right; the headphones feature a 10-hour rechargeable battery. There is no need to keep a good stash of AA or AAA batteries on hand. I am so stoked about the headset I am vibrating. Momma want!

As with all purchases at Shop.ca, you will receive free shipping on the Denon Global Cruiser Headphones.

Google Play: Castle Of Illusion For iOS & Android For $0.99

Posted by on August 29, 2014 at 11:30 AM

Google Play: Castle Of Illusion For iOS & Android For $0.99

Oh, boy! Does anyone remember playing the original Castle Of Illusion: Starring Mickey Mouse on their Sega Genesis or Game Gear systems back in the day? No? Well, Sega completely revamped the game, giving it a complete, gorgeous makeover and bringing it into the 21st century! It has some wonderful voice acting from Disney’s iconic animated mouse, thrilling game play, and lavish graphics that will wow even the most prudent sceptics. Google Play is offering the iOS and Android versions of this game for only $0.99 – that’s 90% off of the regular price of $9.99! There’s no expiry date listed for this sale, so grab it while you can!

I bought this remake of Castle Of Illusion for my Xbox 360 roughly two months ago at its regular price ($14.99 for the Xbox 360) and I thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact, I still do enjoy it, since there’s plenty of secret areas that you can discover, so I still occasionally replay some of the levels for fun. I also like the fact that there’s a narrator throughout the game, which really makes it feel like you’re watching a cartoon (the graphics are just that good – click here to check them out).

What’s funny about this game is that I never actually played the original Genesis or Game Gear versions until I tried out this remake. I was so satisfied with this game that I ended up tracking down and buying the original Sega Genesis version. Castle Of Illusion provides Disney fans (and even non-Disney fans) with a fun adventure, great platforming action, and enough of a challenge to keep players coming back for more.

This Disney masterpiece gets high praise from most critics- it has a score of 81 out of 100 on Metacritic, and normally costs $9.99 (only a digital copy is available for this game – they didn’t release retail versions of Castle Of Illusion for any systems, including the Xbox 360 and PS3). Listed below is a snippet of a review from Pocket Gamer UK:

Castle of Illusion combines old school challenge with impeccable presentation to create a fitting tribute to one of the 16-bit era’s finest platforming classics.

If you’re looking for a $0.99 game for your iPhone, iPad, or Android device that will keep you entertained, this is it. Sega is known for churning out quality titles, and Castle Of Illusion is no exception. Download it while the price is still low!

Nintendo.com Capcom Sale: Up To 60% Off Select Wii U & 3DS Games

Posted by on August 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM

Nintendo.com Capcom Sale: Up To 60% Off Select Wii U & 3DS Games

It’s safe to say that Nintendo’s Capcom is a game company that pleases both veteran and younger gamers. With a diverse range of titles in their library, such as Street Fighter, Resident Evil, and Phoenix Wright, many gamers clamour to hear about Capcom’s latest releases. Fortunately, Capcom has temporarily slashed the prices on some of their titles that are on the Nintendo eShop for both the Wii U and 3DS video game systems, allowing gamers to save up to 60% on both classic and newer titles. Remember, this sale will only be around until September the 4th at noon.

There are many great games included in this sale that I paid full price for, such as the excellent Ducktales: Remastered for the Wii U ($7.49, was $14.99) and Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition for the 3DS ($9.99, was $19.99). Though some of these games have been out for a while now, these are still some great deals. The retail copy of Ducktales: Remastered is getting tougher to find, and the Wii U version typically retails for $19.99 (it’s in stock on Amazon and costs $21.49). Some of these games can’t even be found in retail, since they’re download-only titles. For example, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies for the 3DS can only be downloaded on Nintendo’s eShop, and it’s on sale this week for $17.99 (regular price is $29.99).

There are even some virtual console classics, like Street Fighter 2 ($4.99, was $7.99) that you can enjoy on your Wii U system. I was always a huge fan of Capcom’s games – especially the Street Fighter series. I still remember that fateful day when my father surprised me with it when I was only six years old, and the fact that I was actually allowed to stay home from school and play it just made me one overjoyed youngster! However, the most outrageous part of this story is the fact that Street Fighter 2 for the Super Nintendo used to cost $99.99 plus tax at Toys R Us back in 1993! That’s a spicy meatball!

Here’s a brief review of Ducktales: Remastered from a satisfied customer on Amazon:

Clever dialogue, great voice casting and nice music in the background. Lots of fun! My son and I love to play this game.

Here’s to a great long weekend filled with plenty of video gaming, Bargainmoosers!

Villeroy-Boch Coupon Code: 25% Discount Site-Wide!

Posted by on August 29, 2014 at 10:00 AM

Villeroy Boch Coupon Code: 25% Discount Site Wide!

Villeroy and Boch, the world-famous ceramics & homeware brand, has released a 25% discount code for a few days only. It’s rare to get a coupon code for Villeroy & Boch, so that’s why I am choosing to blog this one on Bargainmoose. Here is the information:

Click here to use the Villeroy & Boch coupon code online now

  • Coupon Code: VBSTYLE25
  • Discount: 25% off
  • Expires: 1st September 2014

Hit up the sales section to see the bargains first. There are a few sale events happening, such as the Labor Day event or the Last Chance Outlet.

I tested the coupon code out on a few items and it DID apply an extra discount, but I think a few brands must be excluded. For example, this Victor 36 piece flatware Set which was $240 and is now down to only $99 – the coupon code doesn’t give any further discount, that’s the final price.

Some other items for you to see:

Dune Collection – this tableware set is on clearance sale, with items starting at only $4.49 after the coupon code.

There are some very funky items too – such as this set of Premium Bone Porcelain – the NewWave Premium Platinum 5 piece place set for $145.99 or $109.45 after the coupon code.

Have a glance at the designer coffee mugs here, some of which I have pictured in the image above. With the odd shape of these coffee sets they might be more suited to restaurants and cafes… I am not 100% sure if they’d be suitable for everyday use in your home!

Canadian Shipping

Shipping is only free on orders of $250 or more. Even though that minimum spend threshold is quite high, as this is a premium brand – it’s likely that if you are shopping there that you’re going to be placing a large order anyway. If your order is smaller than $250, then the shipping fee is a flat rate:

  • Orders up to $149.99 – shipping is $20
  • Orders of $150 to $249.99 – shipping is $25

Keep that in mind when ordering.

About

I was reading the Villeroy & Boch about page, and was quite astounded by both the fact that they are 260 years old and at some of their comments:

Its tiles line the Holland Tunnel. Its dinnerware sets the tables of the Pope.

Wow!

Remember, if you’re ever shopping online at Villeroy and Boch Canada, check out our coupon page before you shop!

Michaels Canada Coupons: 5 Printables Up To 65% Off

Posted by on August 29, 2014 at 9:30 AM

Michaels Canada Coupons: 5 Printables Up To 65% Off

Michaels Canada has printable coupons that will save you money on your purchases every week. Normally, they have three or four of them to take advantage of that start at about 25% off and go up from there.  This week, in honor of back to school, they have five different coupons and they range from 40% up to 65% off the regular prices.

Here is a look at the printable coupons offered this week:

  • Get 40% off regular prices artistic paint, brushes, pencils, pastels & markers
  • Get 40% off regular priced Jolee’s 3D Stickers & Embellishments
  • Get 40% off one regular priced item
  • Get 65% off Renaissance Custom Framing
  • Earn 5x reward Air Miles on purchase of $40+

It is pretty rare for them to offer a coupon for 65% off, so this is a really good one this week.  Additionally, their coupons for regular priced items are usually only 25% off, so saving 40% off any one regular priced item is a great little bonus before school starts.

I normally wouldn’t be buying all of my kids back to school items at Michaels because some of their supplies are priced higher than other stores.  I do, however, like their selection of art supplies for holidays and that is what I will be focusing my shopping on this time around. They already have items out for Halloween and I can’t wait to get a head start on some fun crafts with my boys for decorating.

You will be able to use all of these Michaels Canada coupons at the same time or just one of them if that’s all you want to use.

Additionally, there are two options to get these coupons. You will be able to print them off or have them scanned from your smartphone. Download the free Michaels Canada app and you will have them handy on your phone, rather than having to print them off. Either way, you can use each coupon one time only.

  • Expires: 1st September 2014

There are a ton of items to choose from in the sale section, and all come with FREE Canadian shipping, which is a really great bonus.

As per the headliner on this blog post, the shoes I have pictured above are the ones you can purchase for only $16.79 once you apply the coupon code. They’re the Men’s Court Graffik Shoes (Color: WHITE/BLACK/WHITE wbi) and they were originally priced at $59.99. These particular trainers are only available in size 8 though, so that’s quite restrictive. Here’s a quick screenshot of that price:

DC Shoes Men’s Trainers From Only $16.79 & Free Shipping! (US)

They’re the best bargain I can find… but there are still more good prices for only a few dollars more.

For example, there’s a lot more sizing choice in the exact same shoes in other colours. If you go for the colour WHITE/ARMOR/WHITE (waw) which are priced at $29.99, they come down to only $20.99. These are available in sizes 8 to 11.

For a different shoe altogether, these Men’s Villain Tx Shoes are only $15.75 after the coupon code, but again, only available in a size 9.

It’s worth a really good browse through the sale shoes to find the best deals in your size. I’ve focussed this post on men’s trainers, but you can just as easily have a browse in the ladies or kids section.

Shipping & Fees

Even though DC Shoes ship from the US, you don’t have to pay any shipping costs whatsoever. If your shopping cart is less than $20, there won’t be any additional customs or duties at your door. Also, with the NAFTA agreement, you don’t pay any duties on US made items. The DC Shoes site doesn’t state which items this applies to though, so there’s a teeny chance that you may have to pay an extra couple of bucks at your door, if you’re unlucky! Please tell us in the comments below if you’ve ordered from DC Shoes before and how it went.

Cake Beauty Canada Coupon: 40% Off Must Haves

There is an awesome new coupon code out for Cake Beauty that will be valid until just after the long weekend.  You will be able to enter this coupon code at the checkout and save 40% on your entire purchase!

Click here to shop @ Cakebeauty.com now

  • Coupon Code: beauty
  • Discount: 40% Off
  • Expiry: 2nd September 2014

You will be able to submit the coupon after all of your payment info has been entered at the checkout. Cake Beauty has become so popular now, it is actually being featured on hot shows such as Pretty Little Liars. I like them for a few reasons. They offer good quality products ,and they offer some products that are hard to find with other lines of beauty.

One of my favourites (which I am sure I have mentioned about a million times) is their dry shampoo.  I never go camping without it.  In fact, I’m heading out to go camping today and I already have it packed! The regular price of their dry shampoo is $22, but you will get it for just $13.20 with this coupon code.  It comes in a variety of applications such as powder and sprays. I find the powder works the best for me.  They even have it specifically for light hair shades, medium hair shades and darker hair shades.

Another great product that is worth checking out is their very popular milk made velveteen hand cream that is normally $18. Once you add the coupon code at the checkout, the price of this cream will drop to just $10.80. You can also get it in the travel size which is regularly priced at $10 but will be just $6 with this coupon code.  This may be a better way to try a new products for a very little price.

As for the cost of shipping, you will get free shipping on all orders of $150 or more. Not bad considering some beauty companies don’t offer free shipping at all.

You will find this Cake Beauty coupon and all others, posted up on the Bargainmoose coupon forum for easy online shopping.

Bed & Breakfast Promo Code: Free $100 Gift Card With Purchase Of $350+ Gift Card

Bed & Breakfast Promo Code: Free $100 Gift Card With Purchase Of $350+ Gift Card

Planning to travel? Then check out Bed and Breakfast because on top of featuring thousands of unique inns and lodgings, you can also use their current promotion to get a freebie! Spend over $350 on a gift card and use the code below to get a free gift card with $100 pre-loaded on it.

Click here to get a gift card @ BedAndBreakfast.com now

  • Coupon code: LABORDAY100
  • Discount: free $100 gift card with a gift card purchase $350+
  • Expiry: 1st September 2014

Admittedly, this isn’t the first time that Bed and Breakfast releases a promotion such as this one and in fact, there are a couple of others valid coupons on the Bargainmoose forum right now, which you could use after the one above expires. For instance, there is a Bed and Breakfast coupon code for a $20 gift card on a gift card purchase of over $100 or there is also a code for a free $50 Restaurant.com gift card with purchase of a Bed and Breakfast gift card over $100. However, what makes their newest promotion so unique is that it’s the highest value one that they have ever released (or perhaps that they have released in a very long time).

Considering that you will essentially be paying just $350 for a total valued sum of $450 ($350 for the first gift card and $100 for the free one), this means that you’re essentially saving 22.22%! Of course, you can choose to either give your second gift card as a gift to someone but my suggestion would be to definitely keep it for either a future booking or perhaps to try and use on food at your reservation. It could even be used to extend your stay once your there. In either case, it definitely has multiple uses and free stuff is always great!

What I like though is that if you choose to give it as a gift, then you could use a picture of your own choosing on the cover of the gift card and you can also personalize it by specifying who it’s for, from who along with a 300-character message.

Keep in mind that since Bed and Breakfast only ships gift cards to US addresses, you will need to select the e-mail option for the delivery method. In either case, that was is definitely an even better one as on top of receiving your gift card immediately upon completing your payment, you also won’t have to worry about any additional fees.
