Want Free Reese Peanut Butter Cups? Download The 7 Eleven App Today! (EXPIRED)

What. Why am I sitting here?! 7-Eleven Canada is giving out free Reese Peanut Butter Cups today for their Freeday Friday offer. This delicious chocolate treat has to be my favourite and I need to get to a 7-Eleven today. Reese PB Cup… get in my belly! To get your free 46g Reese PB Cups, just download the 7-Eleven app.

*Drool* I love me some Reese’s Peanut Butter cups. Did you know that by downloading the 7-Eleven mobile app, you can get this delicious candy for absolutely free today? While quantities last of course. These beauties regularly sell for about $1.29, so while the discount is small, how could you turn down free peanut butter cups? The Reese Peanut Butter Cups 46g will have 3 delicious cups to share, or entirely consume yourself (like I will do). No sharing. Sorry!

As if this isn’t enough chocolate, the Hershey Store even seems to sell the World’s Largest Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Have any of you Moosers actually seen these in Canada? I just want to mash these into some chocolate ice cream and enjoy. Although I am not sure if they will survive the car ride home to make it into the ice cream. Be sure to enjoy this freebie guys, I have not seen 7-Eleven Canada offer these for free during their Free Day Friday promo yet.

While the Freeday Friday freebies are my favourite among the 7-Eleven Canada offers, their mobile app will provide you with many other discounts as well. These offers might vary a little bit from location to location, but for the most part they will remain consistent throughout all of our provinces. There are lots of offers that will include BOGO, freebies, discounts and more. Just click the discount you would like and enjoy. Just remember, don’t redeem this offer unless you are already near 7-Eleven because the offer will expire in 15 minutes after clicking “redeem”. The 7-Eleven App will even give you directions to your closest 7-Eleven store if you need.

Hoover SteamVac Carpet Cleaner With Clean Surge Was $230 | Now $116 + Free Shipping @ Amazon.ca

Posted by on July 3, 2015 at 10:59 AM

Hoover SteamVac Carpet Cleaner With Clean Surge Was $230 | Now $116 + Free Shipping @ Amazon.ca

You really won’t realize how dirty your carpets are until you get ‘atter with a Hoover SteamVac Carpet Cleaner. The problem is that these cleaning machines can sometimes cost you an arm and a leg – especially if you want a quality cleaner. Right now the Hoover SteamVac Carpet Cleaner with Clean Surge is on sale for 50% off. Today you can pay just $116.11 as opposed to the regular price which was $229.99. You will get free Super Saver shipping too.

Amazon Canada’s deal of the day is a pretty good one today. I have yet to see this Hoover SteamVac Carpet Cleaner with Clean Surge for this low of a price. About 6 months ago I saw it for $150, but you can’t beat the price of $116.11 for this magical cleaning machine. With the powerful 12-amp Hoover motor, no carpet will be too tough. This cleaner deep cleans to remove stains and odours with the aid of hot tap water and carpet solution.

Take a look at what other Canadian retailers are selling this Hoover SteamVac for:

Out of 78 customer reviews, this Hoover SteamVac Carpet Cleaner still holds a 4.5 star rating – which is pretty good. The only complaint I could see is that the machine will leak if the parts are not connected together properly, but wouldn’t that be expected? If you know you are about to go over a stained spot, simply use the Clean Surge feature to give an extra burst of cleaning solution to solve the problem. If you have pets and kids like I do, then a SteamVac like this is a necessity. I have even used the steam vacuum I have to clean my couches and my kitchen tile believe it or not. Don’t worry – it comes with a hand tool that is perfect for cleaning the couches and even upholstery.

Amazon.ca offers free shipping on orders over $25, so you won’t have to worry about any extra costs there thankfully. I am sure shipping something of this size could get rather costly elsewhere. If you apply and are approved for an Amazon.ca Rewards Visa Card, you would be discounted by a further $20 which would bring your total down to just $96.11.

Mega Bloks My Hello Kitty House Was $110 now $80 & Free Collection @ Toys R Us Canada!

Posted by on July 3, 2015 at 10:00 AM

Mega Bloks My Hello Kitty House Was $110 now $80 & Free Collection @ Toys R Us Canada!

I was looking for deals on a kid’s playhouse, searching the interwebs for the best deals and prices. I came across this deal on the My Hello Kitty House from Toys R Us Canada. Combining the sale prices and by using a coupon code, you can bring the cost of this playhouse down to only $79.98… plus you should be able to collect at your local store for free, omitting any nasty shipping fees.

You must order online and use the Toys R Us coupon code CineplexFeb to get the My Hello Kitty playhouse for $79.98. That ends up being 27% off its original price. It’s only available for click and collect, there’s no ship to home option available on this toy house.

The My Hello Kitty House is made by Mega Bloks, a very well-known toy manufacturer. And from what I can tell, you don’t just have to style the playhouse in the configuration pictured above. As this playhouse is made from giant mega-bloks, you can actually make it in other styles, such as a sweet shop, lemonade stand, and more. What a great idea!

Price Comparison!

While I cannot find this exact house at any other online stores in Canada, I can do a general price comparison for similar plastic toy houses. The cheapest non-inflatable and non-cardboard playhouse that I can see on Amazon.ca is this Tot’s Play Villa Playhouse which is $130 there. The cheapest similar playhouse on Toys R Us (that is available) is this Little Tikes Cape Cottage Playhouse which is priced at $90 after the above coupon. It’s a bit more elaborate though. Over at Walmart.ca, the lowest priced playhouse is that same Tot’s house which is coming in at $180. At Sears, the lowest playhouse is this one which is coming in at $120.

Online, there doesn’t seem to be an awful lot of choice or availability for this type of toy. So, from the above research, I believe the Toys R Us deal for the Hello Kitty playhouse is a great price – providing you’re close enough to a Toys R Us to collect at store for free.

How To Save Money At Amusement Parks

How To Save Money At Amusement Parks

Amusement parks pack lots of fun into one day and are a popular destination in the summertime. Like many Canadians, I am planning to head to at least one amusement style park this summer with my family to make some memories. The problem is I have trouble enjoying my trip when I leave broke, and that is exactly what happens when I do not plan. According to Statistics Canada, amusement parks made $472.9 million dollars in 2012, and the trends for revenue are moving upwards. Avoid being a statistic and save big bucks by using my tips below.

Pack Your Lunch

I think most people are aware that the cost of food is high, as we are all a captive audience once inside the doors. For more insight into how theme parks get away with inflated food prices, check out this post on Money Manifesto. A well-packed cooler can go a long way towards saving you money at your destination this summer. Make sure you check out the rules for the park you are visiting online. Many do not allow coolers inside the park but have designated picnic areas. If there is no picnic area, you also have the option of tailgating from your car.

Bring bottles of water to help keep you hydrated throughout the day. Most parks will allow water inside, and it saves you from buying multiple pricey drinks. I suggest filling bottles hallway full of water and freezing them, then topping them off with water before adding them to your cooler. You can then use these extra bottles as ice packs in your cooler and will have a cold bottle to swap with after lunch. Throwing a few snacks in your bag can also help avoid buying overpriced treats on a whim. I generally budget for one family food treat during the day. We usually plan for that mid-afternoon when we are more tired and more likely to splurge.

Plan For The Free Activities

One of the first things I do the first time we check out a park is to check out the show schedule. So many of the parks have fun and entertaining song, dance, comedy and animal shows. Attending most of these shows are included with admission tickets, and most are enjoyable. I find it helps to break up the day from standing in long ride lines. Check out the schedule from the beginning to make sure you do not miss the best shows.

Skip The Midway

How To Save Money At Amusement Parks

The midway, the arcade, or any area that has games to play where you pay by the game is a sinkhole for your cash. It can be hard to resist when your child is eyeing the oversized blue tiger or the attendant is ruffling your feathers to play. The reality is once you start sinking your money into these games, it can be hard to give up and walk away without the prize. These games provide only a few minutes of fun that could be spent enjoying one of the many activities in the park that is included with your admission price.

If you cannot resist these games, set yourself a limit before you plunk down bill after bill. Over at The Art Of Manliness, they have a great article that can teach you how to increase your odds of winning many classic midway games. Blifaloo has another great article with some tips on when to play and how to win at a variety of midway games.

Buy Tickets Online

If you are planning on heading to a particular theme park, check on the website. Many of the larger parks will give you a discount for purchasing tickets online, especially if you purchase them several days ahead of time. For example, currently on Calaway Park’s website they have an online deal that can save you cash on your ticket price, plus an additional deal to pre-purchase pizza for four people.

Group buying sites such as Wagjag also periodically offer deals for some of the bigger attractions. If you are a member of CAA, do not forget to check with them for any discounts you may be eligible for with ticket purchases.

Consider A Season Pass

How To Save Money At Amusement Parks

Last year we bought a season pass to a local park here in Montreal as we were leaving for the day. I calculated the costs and if we visited three times, we were ahead if we upgraded our ticket to a membership. It was still early in the summer, so we grabbed the deal. According to the Globe and Mail, the trend right now for large theme parks is to shift away from one-time visits and to focus more on making season passes more enticing. That means more benefits are popping up every year for pass holders. Some of the bigger parks such as Canada’s Wonderland have started allowing members to purchase the pass in payments to ease the overall cost. If you purchase a pass during the month of June, La Ronde includes coupons with three free admission coupons for friends to join plus other food discounts. The trick to these passes is to make sure you schedule a few return visits into your calendar before the summer slips away.

To plan your next great amusement park trip, you may want to check out this list of Canada’s Top 10 Amusement Parks. I tend to stick to the parks closer to my own home, but sometimes I need to mix it up with a new adventure. This list is a great place to start!

Bargainmoosers, what trick do you use to save money at amusement parks?

Yogasmoga.com: $25 Free Credit & Free Canadian Shipping!!!

Posted by on July 2, 2015 at 7:00 PM

Yogasmoga.com: $25 Free Credit & Free Canadian Shipping!!!

I’ve discovered a US based site called YogaSmoga, which specialises in performance clothing for both men and women, ideally suited to active pursuits such as yoga, running, cycling and more. What brought Yoga Smoga to my attention was the fact that they offer free Canadian shipping on ANY order, with no minimum spend required. And upon further investigations, I also found out that new accounts get $25 free credit to spend on site – sweet deal!

All you have to do is signup on site – you don’t need a special coupon code. The $25 free credit will be in your account and you can use it on your next order. This is what you should see:

Yogasmoga.com: $25 Free Credit & Free Canadian Shipping!!!

In terms of pricing of the YogaSmoga activewear, it’s something along the lines of what you would see with Lululemon or Lole here in Canada. So I definitely wouldn’t call it cheap to start with – but having the $25 free credit makes a good dent in your order, if you’re only ordering one item to see what they are like. Here are a few examples of items you could buy, along with the reduced prices from the $25 free credit:

One 2 Many Sale Items

Yoga Smoga has a “One 2 Many” sale section, which sounds remarkably similar to the Lululemon’s “We Made Too Much” sale. In that section, there are a lot of heavily discounted items, but sadly the $25 free credit doesn’t apply to those sale items (or to accessories either). The free $25 credit will only apply to the other items on site.

But it could still be worth a look to see if there’s anything else you want to buy. Some examples of the sale items:

For all the above, the sizing and colour choice differs… some colours may be in stock in your size, some not.

Shipping, Duties, Customs?

As many Moosers know, the NAFTA agreement covers items that are made in the US and shipped to Canada – there should not be any extra duties on these items. And it clearly states on the YogaSmoga site that their products are made in the US, so this should apply. However, on their help pages here, it states that anyone outside the US is responsible for applicable taxes and duties in their home jurisdictions. So taxes don’t seem to be included at checkout – it’s possible you may have to pay these later.

If you are making orders for a few items, I’d probably recommend placing separate orders for each one – it’s free shipping anyway, and it reduces the risk of customs delaying your parcel.

Personal Thoughts

I’ve done yoga many times over the years, but I’ve not always had a really dedicated regimen. But I feel that the clothing I wear to yoga can really affect my workout. For example, I have a problem when wearing a t-shirt that’s too short. I feel that when I am in certain poses, the t-shirt will ride up over my butt and I feel self-conscious and need to constantly adjust my clothing. Or, in wearing certain leggings, I found that some were slipping down too much and I wasn’t leaving much to the imagination in terms of ass cleavage. A good set of workout clothing can really complement your workout, and leave one less thing to worry about.

Walmart Canada: $3 Bath Towels – Great For DIY Projects (Ideas Inside)

Posted by on July 2, 2015 at 5:30 PM

Walmart Canada: $3 Bath Towels Great For DIY Projects (Ideas Inside)

This Summer I have found a lot of great do it yourself projects that include the use of bath towels. The problem? Bath towels can be so expensive to just use as a project material. I have some good news though! Walmart Canada has a variety of Bath Towels for just $3 each, which makes those DIY projects a little more affordable.

Whether you are putting together some DIY projects like hooded towels for kids or stocking up for at the cottage, these towels are great. You won’t find a large towel like this for just $3 anywhere else, I can assure you. Walmart even has the face towels for just $1 and hand towels for just $2 to match. These $3 Walmart towels look quite large too. They measure at about 27 inches by 48 inches. They are made of 100% cotton so they may shrink a tad bit though, I guess that is why the directions say to tumble dry.

There are five different colours available, so you can match your cottage decor or even get the colours you need for your do it yourself projects. The five colours include:

  • beige
  • brown
  • deep mint
  • french blue
  • white

Do you have a Do It Yourself project in mind already? Here are some of the cool ones I have found and want to try:

Walmart Canada: $3 Bath Towels Great For DIY Projects (Ideas Inside)

1. Hooded Towels for Kids & Toddlers

You can scour the web for many different designs for making hooded towels. I found lots of great ones at CrazyLittleProjects.com. They even have sewing tutorials and such if you are a beginner. With the colours available for $3 at Walmart.ca, you could probably make this Puppy Dog Hooded Towel with ease.

Things you will need:

  • brown bath towel
  • matching brown hand towel
  • some white, black, dark brown and red fabrics
  • iron on paper-back adhesive

The instructions are provided in the link above. If you get creative and try this project or another hooded towel, be sure to show us!

Walmart Canada: $3 Bath Towels Great For DIY Projects (Ideas Inside)

2. Towel Dress For The Beach

Let’s face it – if we have had children, we may not want to strut around the beach in our Bikini. An excellent way to cover up when you’re not swimming is with a homemade towel dress. This is an easy sewing project that will make great use of these $3 Walmart towels. Dry off and cover up at the same time when you get out of the water at the beach or pool. The easy-peasy sewing pattern can be found at AllFreeSewing.com, but you will need a sewing machine.

Walmart Canada: $3 Bath Towels Great For DIY Projects (Ideas Inside)

3. DIY Unpaper Towels

No sewing machine is needed for this one. What an excellent way to be economical while saving money. I skipped cloth diapering, composting stinks, and I avoid paper towels if at all possible. That is my way of trying to be more eco-friendly. This idea for Unpaper Towels is genius though, especially since you won’t need a sewing machine to complete the task. You can grab a YouTube video and learn how to hand-sew to get this project done. Everything you need and the instructions are listed here at Mommypotamus.com.

Walmart Canada offers free shipping on orders over $50, but unless you have something else to add to your cart you probably won’t reach that total with just towels. Walmart Canada does offer free shipping to your local Canada Post Office or certain areas have those new Grab & Go lockers. Most stores have these in stock by the look of it too.

Canadian Freebie: All Creatures Big And Small Movie Download @ Google Play Canada

Posted by on July 2, 2015 at 5:00 PM

Canadian Freebie: All Creatures Big And Small Movie Download @ Google Play Canada

Here is a little freebie you might want to snag for the kids. Right now on Google Play you can get the movie All Creatures Big And Small completely free. You do need to have a Google Play account to take advantage of this deal.

This freebie today over at Google Play Canada includes the free movie All Creatures Big And Small in full high definition. This movie is a cartoon and starts during the story of Noah building an ark while the animals are boarding two by two. Somehow our two main characters, animals known as Nestrians, are left behind. Our heroes must now comically survive the floods and get to the top of the mountain to survive. Meanwhile the parents of our heroes who are onboard, try to turn around the Ark in an attempt to try to save their children. Though the film is set in the middle of a biblical story, it is a slapstick comedy at heart. From reading the reviews at IMBD, it seems this it is trying to be more funny and quirky from the animal’s point of view and less of a biblical retelling. It seems to be from the reviews that this movie has plenty of funny pop culture reference to keep the story light and moving.

Reviews over on Google Play are looking good overall, especially for a free movie. Movie watchers are honest in that this movie is a bit of slapstick with a side of cheese. I would not expect this film to live up to the quality we expect from Disney or Pixar, but it is a fun film for a rainy afternoon for a laugh. Here is one review from Google Play:

Hey, it’s pretty good for a free movie I laughed a good bit during it. It’s a good kid movie I’m sure. Plus, this is like one of the few movies that I’ve seen that actually have a G rating for the film.

You might have figured out by now if you are a regular reader that I love freebies. I was just telling Anna the other day when I was blogging about the free Chorus Spa and Wellness samples that I tend to be a little bit of a freebie hoarder. I will be adding this movie to my collection for my kiddo.

Swarovski Canada: Up to 40% Off Sale on Jewellery

Swarovski Canada: Up to 40% Off Sale on Jewellery

I think this is a first for Canada; Swarovski Canada is having an online sale with up to 40% off their gorgeous sparkly jewellery. Trust me, I am screaming for joy into my computer screen right now.

This is a monumental day for Canadians that love Swarovski, including me! There are plenty of gorgeous necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and more on sale for up to 40% off. Surprisingly, a good selection of them is at the top end of that discount scale. Without further ado, here are some of my favourites.

The Blanche Large Necklace is one of those gorgeous pieces that you want to wear out for special occasion but it really does look gorgeous with anything you wear – it just looks gorgeous on you. Originally $280, the necklace is on sale for $168. I like this necklace because of the vintage-inspired design. On a palladium-plated chain, the centrepiece is made of clear crystal, crystal pearls, and vibrant pink crystal.

For something more modern, try the Bolt Pendant that was $145 and is now $87. Mixing machinery and precious gems, this necklace is really gives off a modern yet glamorous feeling. Choose from three colours.

I like bracelets because they can go with almost anything. They are a simple way to dress up an outfit. Since we no longer wear watched (who does these days?), a bracelet accents the wrist without competition. This Pebble Cuff (M) is currently 40% off. Originally $345, the bracelet is now on sale for $207.

For smaller budgets, the Stone Bracelet is a serious contender. The bracelet is available in three colours. The black colourway is discounted by 40% whereas the other two colours are only 30% off. Originally $99, the black stone bracelet is now $59.

Many of the well-loved Swarovski figures are included in this sale. I am positively drooling over this adorable Hello Kitty Blue Bow that was $170 and is now $102. The Hello Kitty figures are so incredibly cute. The Happy Duck – Sweetheart figurine is also quite affordable because of this sale. Originally $90, the figure is on sale for $54. I dream of the day that someone will have good sense to surprise me with something like this, which i would never expect!

Receive free standard shipping on orders of $120 or more. Orders under that minimum cost $10.95 for shipping. You can also request a free gift bag and a free greeting card in your cart.

Freebies, BOGO Free, & 20% Off Blackberry Z30 Accessories Coupon Code @ BlueShop (EXPIRED)

Posted by on July 2, 2015 at 3:00 PM

Freebies, BOGO Free, & 20% Off Blackberry Z30 Accessories Coupon Code @ BlueShop (EXPIRED)

Blue Shop Canada is a pretty cool place to purchase accessories for your smart phone, tablet, and more. They also have a vast selection of freebies that you can score – with no minimum purchase necessary. Essentially, you can just stick a freebie into your cart and checkout. I suggest making a purchase though, as free shipping is on merely $20 worth of goods. They currently have a coupon code for 20% off your order as well, making this an excellent time to make a purchase. This coupon does not apply to the up to 80% off clearance section.

Click here to view all the freebies @ Blue Shop Canada now

  • Coupon Code: 7115
  • Discount: 20% off
  • Expiry: 3rd July 2015

There is a limit of one freebie per order. You could just get the freebie alone (and pay shipping) or spend $20 and receive both a freebie and free shipping. The last combination is my favourite.

Let us talk free items for a second. All these freebies are oriented towards the Blackberry Z30. Thus, there are chargers, cases, and more for free. However, some of the items offered – namely batteries – are not exclusive to the unit. For anyone, the following two freebies are worth considering:

AA batteries are used in everything. A friend of mine was wondering why his wireless keyboard wasn’t performing as previously. He forgot that the keyboard ran on AA batteries, which he had not changed in years. Recently, I had to buy my first 9V battery in some time as the battery in my smoke detector ran low and was beeping at all hours of the night.

Freebies, BOGO Free, & 20% Off Blackberry Z30 Accessories Coupon Code @ BlueShop (EXPIRED)

Now, these freebies have better value when you score free shipping on your order. I suggest stacking a few discounts together for the best deal. Both the BlackBerry Transform Hardshell Case (White) for Z30 and the BlackBerry Flip Shell (White) for Z30 are BOGO free units. Instead of $19.99 per unit, you receive two for that price. Use the above coupon code to receive both cases for $15.99. The space case is added to your cart automatically.

To get my cart above $20 for the free shipping, I added on this Smartphone Experts Mobile Phone Repair Tool Kit (8 Pieces), which will work on any phone really. Originally $19.95, the kit is on sale for $5.95. As this is a clearance item, the coupon does not apply. You can see how glorious this combo is when put together. I am saving nearly $80 in total!

300: Rise of an Empire (DVD) Was $14 | Now $2.25 @ Amazon.ca (EXPIRED)

Posted by on July 2, 2015 at 2:30 PM

300: Rise of an Empire (DVD) Was $14 | Now $2.25 @ Amazon.ca (EXPIRED)

I am incredibly impressed with this deal and the deal on The LEGO Movie. Amazon Canada has discounted 300: Rise of an Empire (DVD) from $13.68 down to $2.25 for the DVD version.

You are purchasing the 2-Disc Special Edition version on DVD. I sort of expect this sort of price drop on older movies – way older movies – but this movie was just released last year. As it was released in June 2014, the movie is just over a year old. For less than half the cost of your next Starbucks latte, you can pick up a new movie for your collection.

This is the second 300 movie, following the 2006 release of 300. I have never seen either as they are quite bloody and violent movies, which I am not into very much. However, they are well thought of by those who enjoy that sort of thing. Over 40 reviewers give 300: Rise of an Empire an overall rating of 4.5 stars.

I price compared to ensure you are getting a good deal but it was hardly necessary. This same DVD set retails for:

  • $13.88 @ Walmart Canada
  • $31.98 @ Staples Canada
  • $28.25 @ Sears Canada
  • $16.99 @ best Buy Canada

Reviews on sites like IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes are mixed. Some view the plot line as a mere excuse just to be gory. The critics’ consensus on Rotten Tomatoes is:

It’s bound to hit some viewers as an empty exercise in stylish gore, and despite a gonzo starring performance from Eva Green, 300: Rise of an Empire is a step down from its predecessor.

However, I am not sure I put much stock in their ratings as they have been rather harsh on some of my favourite movies and rather praising of movies I thought were junk. What really matters is whether YOU like the movie – who cares about the critics.

For only $2.25, you can add this movie to your collection and have something new to watch on Saturday night. If you do not like the movie, then merely give it away or drop it off at your local used DVD store. Either way, you will have enjoyed a couple hours of entertainment for a little over a toonie.

Receive free shipping on orders of $25 or more.

Pampers Canada: Print Coupons To Save A Total Of $5.50 On Diapers & More

Posted by on July 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM

Pampers Canada: Print Coupons To Save A Total Of $5.50 On Diapers & More

When I do my monthly budgets, I sigh a little at the cost of diapers and other baby necessities. Thankfully my son has just started potty training, so hopefully the diaper expenses won’t last much longer. But for now, I appreciate that Pampers Canada has coupons & special offers available right on their website. If you are a Pampers fan, you will appreciate these coupons as well. In our house, we always use Pampers diapers and Huggies wipes. It seems to be the perfect combination for us.

Anyway, here are the coupons available on Pampers.ca for your use to save money on diapers and other necessities:

  • $2 Off Pampers Diapers Swaddlers, Swaddlers Sensitive or Cruisers
This coupon doesn’t include trial, travel size or value size so just keep that in mind when making your purchase.
  • $1 Off Pampers Diapers Baby Dry
This coupon cannot be applied to trial, travel size, value packs, as well as gift and bonus packs.
  • $1 Off Ivory Snow laundry products
Ivory Snow is the laundry detergent I used when my son was a newborn. This coupon can’t be applied to travel size, trial size, value, gift or bonus packs.
  • $0.50 Off Pampers Wipes
I always found Pampers wipes too soapy or something. I preferred the Huggies wipes all along, but in a pinch I will buy Pampers wipes if I have to. Use this coupon if you purchase Pampers Wipes, but you can’t use this coupon towards bonus packs or trial/travel size packs unfortunately. I was hoping to snag a pack for inside my vehicle.
  • $1 Off Pampers UnderJams Pants Product
Great timing! I just started my son with potty training and I was worried how I was going to prevent him from soaking his sheets every night in the future. He is doing well, but I know some children have a harder time at night than others. These Pampers Pants products look perfect. They go underneath your child’s pajamas so they are discreet.

So basically you just add the coupons you desire to your “shopping cart” and then click “print all your coupons”. You can use the coupons at any store. In total this time around you can take $5.50 off. Keep in mind that these coupons will only print once so if something goes wrong with your printer or your printer runs out of ink, then you will miss out on the discounts. Pampers.ca suggests you test your printer before attempting to print these coupons.

You can view Pampers Canada coupons & special offers in our Bargainmoose forum.

Amazon Canada: The LEGO Movie (DVD) Only $2.49 *HOT* (EXPIRED)

Amazon Canada: The LEGO Movie (DVD) Only $2.49 *HOT* (EXPIRED)

This deal is boiling HOT!!! Amazon Canada has discounted The LEGO Movie (DVD) from $15.17 down to just $2.49!

This deal is totally awesome! It is the lowest price this movie has ever been and I suggest picking it up rather quickly before it a) sells out or b) Amazon notoriously raises the price.

Amazon Canada: The LEGO Movie (DVD) Only $2.49 *HOT* (EXPIRED)

I never saw this movie in theatres, but I have friends who raved about it when it came out. They figured the ‘Everything is Awesome’ song was one of the most memorable parts of the song and I would catch snippets of it dripping out into every day conversation. I used to play with LEGO as a child, this I am sure i would like the movie. I have just never got my hands on a copy of it.

If you love this movie or want to see the movie, then now is your chance to buy it for the cost of a cup of coffee. Yup, it is THAT CHEAP. I checked out the price at other retailers just to show you how good of a deal this is, in case there was any doubt:

  • $13.88 @ Walmart Canada
  • $16.99 @ Best Buy Canada
  • $27.61 @ Staples Canada
  • $20 @ HMV Canada (or 2 for $15)

Essentially, this deal is smoking hot. You will receive the 2-disk special edition of the film. I know nothing about the movie actually, except there are some legendary characters from the geek world in it including Batman, Hans Solo, and Gandalf. Here is a rundown on the storyline:

…follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.

This sounds like a really cool movie especially with such awesome geek characters in it. A lot of adults, as well as children absolutely love this movie as one reviewer at Walmart said:

Bought this movie for my grandson’s 6th Birthday and he’s been watching it almost every day

My friend Robert, who is a mid-40s child, also adores the movie and watches it endlessly as well.

Receive free shipping on orders of $25 or more. At this price, it just might be worth paying the shipping if that is all you want from Amazon Canada.

Microsoft Office: Free Word, Excel, Powerpoint, & Outlook Apps

Microsoft Office: Free Word, Excel, Powerpoint, & Outlook Apps

My dear Moosers! Long have we awaited the arrival of decent word processing software for our mobile devices. Well, wait no more as Microsoft is now offering the entire Microsoft Office Suite as FREE apps that you can download individually.

Previously, you received these apps with your Microsoft 365 subscription. However, Microsoft is now offering the apps free of charge for all Android devices, iPhones, Microsoft phones, tablets, and 2-in-1 computers.

You can download the entire suite, or download each app individually. While I usually use the Apple apps on my phone, as I already purchased them, my computer is a PC and I use Word, Excel, and OneNote on it regularly. It is exciting to think that I can get the same apps on my phone now.

The Microsoft Office suite includes:

  • Word
  • Excel
  • Powerpoint
  • Outlook

Click the arrows beside each program (through the link above) to just download that program. The entire office suite is available through the larger download button.

I have linked directly to the android version, but you can download Office and its applications for tablets and Apple devices. Merely scroll to the bottom to change your device.

I just downloaded Word as it is a program I use every single day on my computer. From my understanding, the free version has limited functionality but should still be able to open and edit documents, as well as create new ones without the 354 subscription.

While not included in the Microsoft Office bundle, you may also download these other Microsoft Apps free of charge:

  • OneNote
  • Lync 2013
  • OneDrive
  • Skype
  • Yammer
  • OneDrive for Business (iPhone)
  • Office Lens (Microsoft phone)

I already use Skype – even though it is a major power hog – and just downloaded OneNote. Out of all the other programs that Microsoft uses, I probably use OneNote the most. It is excellent for jotting down quick note, doing calculations, creating tables to keep track of spending, time, etc. It is, essentially, Excel for dummies when you take advantage of its calculation abilities.

As is to be expected, these apps are quite large and require a lot of space. While the entire Microsoft Office bundle is popular, I would only download the individual apps you need to retain as much open memory as possible. With only a 16GB phone, these apps really take up room.

Note: you will need to create a Microsoft account to use these apps.

39 Foot Ventura Outdoor Rope Light only $20 & Free Shipping @ Wagjag.ca!

Posted by on July 2, 2015 at 12:00 PM

39 Foot Ventura Outdoor Rope Light only $20 & Free Shipping @ Wagjag.ca!

Here is a sweet little deal, perfect for summertime unwinding. Check out the 39-Foot Ventura Outdoor Rope Light valued at $51.19. This rope light is on sale for $25, but you can use our exclusive coupon code Moose5 to bring the total price down to only $20. Free shipping is also included with this deal!

Twinkly lights are all the rage for your outdoor space. All the rage – that is what my best friend says when something is uber-cool. This deal is all the rage because you can transform your backyard space into a summer nighttime haven, perfect for relaxing. This deal includes 39 feet of light, in a white casing. The plug is a standard 120-volt plug, which will make it easy to hook up to outdoor extension cords. I would consider buying a cheap timer also so that my outside lights turn on automatically every day. There is something magical about twinkly lights popping on by themselves on a warm summer evening. I will take it as a sign to start pouring the Sangria and start the fire pit.

This light is perfect for draping over your patio umbrella, along your fence or lighting up your walkway. Speaking of lighting up your walkway, a light like this is also great to line the pathway in front of your yard to your driveway. You may want to pick up two sets at this price. This strand specifically says it is perfect for outdoor use, but nothing is stopping you from lining your glass front cabinets with this inexpensive rope light.

You could also consider it for Christmas, dare I say it?! Buying lights like this when they are on special offer makes sound financial sense, instead of buying your decor at higher prices in December.

I checked out the pricing elsewhere for rope lights. It can be tricky to price compare lights such as these as the sizes vary quite a bit. If you are looking for a light that can work outside you need to search carefully as some rope lights are only for inside use. Walmart.ca has a rope light on clearance. For $25 you can pick up a shorter 30-foot rope light. The price is close, but the rope will not make it quite as far to light up your fence. Canadian Tire has a 30-foot rope light that they are selling for $29.99. Costco.ca has 36 feet of rope light that they sell for $41.99, and this light is only available in two 18-foot roles.

Many people have purchased this deal already on Wagjag, but yours will be even better with that coupon code. Even though there are still a few days left on this deal, I would pick it up now to make sure I did not miss out.
