I got an email from Newegg.ca with some ideas for Father’s Day gifts, and this was one of the deals. While I’m not entirely convinced it would make a good Father’s Day pressie, I still think it’s a good price for anyone that doesn’t mind the colour of the Olympus Stylus 7030 digital camera.

The Olympus Stylus 7030 digital camera was $139.99 and is now down to $89.99, and that includes free shipping (and the coupon code brings it down to only $74.99). To compare, this digital camera is being sold at various other online stores, albeit in a different colour. For example, the blue one is $144.98 at Amazon.ca, the pink one is $249.99 at NCIX.

Specification wise, here are the main points of interest:

• 2.7″ LCD screen
• 7x optical zoom

That seems to be a pretty decent spec for the money. I had an Olympus digital camera a few years back, and I’ve always had a very high opinion of them. I took it round Australia for a year, and snapped away to my heart’s delight. The pictures were always excellent quality. I know this is a different model, but when you’ve had a good experience of a brand like that, you always have a favourable view of them in the future.
