They are sporting their line of brushes, hoping you will add one to your collection. I personally use Dior brushes and since I started using brushes (instead of my fingers) couldn’t be happier. My face is less acne prone and my foundation goes on smoother.
But I could use your help. I am finding it nearly impossible to get all the foundation out of my brush when I clean it, any of you girls know any brush cleaning secrets?

Shampoo is a great way to clean make up brushes!
I agree..shampoo. I keep the cheapy ones from hotels, because they are usually “conditioning” shampoos. I run some warm water in the sink, smoosh the brush in the palm of my hand, gently…rinses like it’s brand new. I’ve seen some comments in the past about not getting your brushes wet (as in the handle, and the part that holds the bristles) it’s hogwash. I’ve been using the same brushes for YEARS, they are good quality, and they look and work as if they were brand new! I think the sprays and wipes you can get are…well.. poo poo, lol.
Shampoo works great but I would mix in olive oil with the shampoo when cleaning the brushes since shampoo strips alway the smooth texture of the brushes easily.
I use only high-end cosmetic brushes and have been told by cosmetologists that the best way to clean brushes is to use a mild shampoo, and follow with a hydrating conditioner. If you use shampoo alone you risk drying the hair out, not only will your brushes smell fantastic and be squeaky clean, but they will be super soft on your skin.
I use baby shampoo
Check out the tutorial on the Makeup Geek site about how to clean your brushes. Using olive oil works wonders. I always clean my brushes this way now!
