Just talked to Lands’ End customer service… and Sears Canada stopped taking returns as of June 1st. Bad timing for me! So now if you want to return something you have to ship it back.

Their sales are amazing. And as Valerie said, if you split your order into smaller ones, they won’t charge duty. I ordered a sweater that was on sale for 7.50 and ended up paying just that. No taxes at all + free shipping.

Land’s End has great deals and they have excellent customer service. When I bought something from Land’s End Canvas (their other line), I received a handwritten thank you card.

Duty and taxes is added for each item you order. No need to be surprised when you receive your order. They ship UPS so you get your order very fast. I receive my orders in 2-3 days after ordering.

I love LandsEnd and they have some great sales. As long as your total order amount is under $20 you pay no duties. Splitting larger orders into smaller ones works fine. Returns can be made at local Sears (Oakville still takes returns). I find LandsEnd has much better prices and sales than LLBean. Happy shopping!

FYI duty to Canada is calculated on each item that you purchase. I have ordered a few times from this company and find them to have quality items at amazing prices.

In answer to your query re duty, Land’s End applies the duty to those items that require it. Items made in the US are duty free; items made elsewhere generally are not. Even with duty the sale prices are excellent and of course, the free shipping is great too!
