When looking around at various prices as a comparison, I see Walmart carries this product and is charging $80. Amazon.ca is charging a variety of prices ranging from $50 - $135. Amazon.ca has a limited colour selection in store for the $50 price, though. What this all means, is that the price of $50 is still a decent price on a small kitchen appliance such as this, and it has the quality name brand that one should be looking for, when purchasing a hand mixer.
I am currently working with a hand mixer that is probably 25 years old. It looks at least 35 years old. Meringue can not be whipped into stiff, shiny peaks, no matter what I do. It would seem I am doomed with the current mixer I have. We have had meringue-less lemon meringue pies for far too long.
So then - what colour to choose? Best Buy has the best colour selection right now it seems, and there are 7 colours including black or white that you can choose from. I can't see selecting a white model, when some of the colours are so fetching, but you never know.
