I have wanted a Dyson since I first learned of them (as much as you can yearn for a cleaning product) but have never pulled the trigger on the high price tag. I've read the best reviews of the Dyson V6 elsewhere and I love that it's got the power of a conventional vacuum without a cord. It has a detachable long-reach wand, hygienic one-touch bin emptying at the push of a button and dual power modes (choose from high constant suction or Boost mode). The bristles are perfect for carpets and soft filaments remove dust from hardwood floors.
The one review on Sears.ca is a complaint regarding the battery life but I believe that is something that would be replaced under warranty because it sounds like just the battery is a bit of a dud! The Dyson comes with a 2-year parts and labour warranty.
To avoid the $75 shipping fee, have your fabulous new vacuum shipped to your local Sears or pick-up outlet for free.
