Chapters Indigo Coupon: $5 Discount In-Store!
This is a great little printable coupon for Chapters Indigo Canada. It’s for a $5 discount with absolutely no minimum spend!
The coupon is only valid for a few days, so use it while you can (between the 29th November and the 1st December 2009). It’s probably only 1 per customer too, so you probably won’t be able to print it out loads of times and use it!
UPDATE – the folks in the comments below point out that coupon does not state “1 per customer” so print out a few and use it a few times on seperate transactions!
Previous Post

WOW! No minimum spend! Such great deals lately!
You could probably use more than one if you made a few trips. Go to Starbucks have a coffee and come back. Oh wait, I guess you would use the $5 you saved. But at least you would have a good cup off coffee!
Great, thanks! I’m going down there today.
@ joy: Why else do we save money if not to spend it elsewhere?!
Wow. I know some $10 that just became 50% off… lol
that’s fantastic!
has anyone tried using it yet? it looks like unique coupon, that’s why…
I just looked and I have a coupon in my inbox but it has a min. spend of $30. It does look like a unique code.
this is legit. you can use as many as you want but in diffrent transactions, cause coupon dosent says one per person it says one per transaction. I used it twice today.
people can use the coupon as many times as you want, as long as they have multiple copies
Thanks guys, I have updated the post
Oh, and I managed to use this coupon yesterday too
Yes, it is legit. I just used it yesterday at Chapters. No minimum required.
I will print another one and go back to use it again.
Went today to use the coupon and was told that they got a call from head office telling them not to accept the coupon anymore. I was in Montreal (Qc), so I don’t know for the other provinces.
I went to a Chapters this afternoon and they took the coupon from me and said the offer had been “cancelled” – what a joke! Is this legal of them??
I got refused, thy said that they ’send the coupon out by mistake’ and refused to honour it at Indigo in Edmonton. Happened to my boyfriend as well.
The Chapter’s in Coquitlam, BC also refused to honor it today and said they have “discontinued” it. My friend went to the same location and they accepted it yesterday!
This isn’t very good customer service. They have set a specific 3 day period on the coupon, so they should honor it during that time.
But in the very last line of the small print, they remembered to include “We can cancel this offer at any time”… so I guess they’re in the right.
Yes, they were quick to point out this little disclaimer to me.
I went to a store in downtown Toronto today and they refused the coupon as well. I guess next time I will need to go on the first day of the event!
I used this coupon last night with no problem at Chapters in West Edmonton on 170st & stonyplain. Will try again tonight and see if they say it’s been cancelled.
They aren’t honouring this coupon anymore
Something about fraud… They stopped accepting it at the end of day yesterday.
A friend went to the same store I did earlier today and they applied her coupon. Grrrr!
I used it yesterday, and the guy didnt even know how to put the discount in. His brain did not comprehend that $5 off a purchase of $4.75 would make the item free. (which was terrible quality, anyways.) It was just a small gift bag with snowmen. Looks really nice, but 2 minutes later the handle broke
None the less, a great freebie! At least I didn’t waste my money
It is bad that Chapters left it to the store level to decide if they honor the coupon. I went to the Chapters on #3 Road Richmond (BC) and I saw the manager Randy let some people use it (i dunno what is the line, maybe those people bought more?) but not all. I am going to complain as i think this is discrimating. Chapters was wrong in giving out an invalid coupon and giving their staff too much power. This is furious – first wasted my efforts to go down and then saw this discrimating act.
I went today and they weren’t honouring them. This was the Metrotown location. Guess who is not getting my business for a very long time!!
very poor business ethics
Poor Chapters!!!!
Poor marketing plan!!! I can’t believe Chapters did this.
They are now giving out $10 gift card if you complain. I guess it is just like the $5 coupon, they wont last long if they see too many people complaining.
