If you live in Ontario, even though it is day one of March break, your kids might already be driving you up the wall! Take them to the brand new Ripley’s Aquarium in Toronto and give them something to do. If you are thinking it might be a tad expensive, you could work in a teachable moment, by one, teaching them about aquariums and teaching them to find a great deal. Right now when you buy the Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada book for $16.96, you’ll get a coupon for a buy one, get one free ticket at the aquarium. This offer is only valid in-store.
I found the book online at Chapters, and it is actually on sale, but by buying it full-price in-store, you’ll save more than the $4 off you’ll get online. The book is all about the aquarium and was published to commemorate the opening of the Toronto aquarium. It has interesting and informative facts, plus gorgeous pictures. You could buy the book one day to teach your kids about sea life and then surprise them by taking them the next day.
Tickets are $29.98 for adults, $19.98 for youth and seniors and $9.98 for kids aged 3-5. Under age two is free. This means the book will technically save you $30 (or $13 plus a free book if you want to look at it that way). If you really wanted to be frugal, you could buy the book as a gift for others and save on your whole group.
I’ve been thinking about going to the aquarium for a while, but the price has me put off since my family of five would cost $110. With this deal I’ll get the book and only spend $80, plus the cost of the book.
