Right now with the temperature at 23 degrees in Ontario, you might be thinking why would anyone want to head south right now? Well, I’ve been south at varying times of the year and I’ll tell you that winter is my least favourite time to go away. If you are visiting the big city of Toronto this summer, I’ve compiled a list of discounted things you can do.

Check out this WagJag Jaunt, which saves you $190 off the cost of a hotel and admission to Canada’s Wonderland. You’ll get a one night stay in a Delta room at the Delta Toronto East, two adult tickets to Canada’s Wonderland, a $20 on-site dining credit, late checkout and complimentary parking. This is a really great deal for only $129.

In June, Cats is playing at David Mirvish’s Panasonic Theatre. With this Living Social deal, you’ll get a ticket to the performance and an official t-shirt and program, all for only $99.

For only $10, you can take a one-hour Toronto harbour tour and view Toronto’s skyline from the water with this Groupon. The regular cost is $28.19.

You’ll have to eat while in Toronto and this Groupon is a great deal for a Distillery District restaurant. Two can eat three courses for $55 or four can eat three courses for only $99 at Tappo Wine Bar and Restaurant.

If DisneyLand is on your bucket list of things to do this year, this deal is great. If you book a minimum of a 5-night WestJet Vacations package to either Disneyland Resort or Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotels (in Orange County – Anaheim), you can get your 5-day tickets for the price of a 3-day.

In case you don’t know what either ticket entails, I’ll tell you. The Park Hopper tickets let you visit both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on the same day, for a total of five days of visiting. This means you can go to any park on any day or both on the same day all of the five days you are there. The 1-park per day tickets let you visit either one or the other each day over the five days. This means you can only go to Disneyland Park on Monday, California Adventure on Tuesday, back to California Adventure on Wednesday then back to Disneyland Park on Thursday. You’ll still get to do whatever awesome activities you’d like over the course of your holiday, but you’ll need to choose only one resort on any given day. Either way you’ll pay only for three days while taking advantage of five.
