Best Buy Canada: Turtle Beach Earforce Headset For PS3 Final Clearance | Now $40

Posted by on September 23, 2014 at 12:03 PM

Best Buy Canada: Turtle Beach Earforce Headset For PS3 Final Clearance | Now $40

Many serious Playstation and Xbox gamers tend to love their headsets, especially when they’re competing against other gamers online. One of the more popular brands that manufactures these headsets is Turtle Beach, and at this time Best Buy is having a final clearance on one of their models! For a very limited time (in other words – act now if you can find a use for them), you can order a Turtle Beach Earforce Headset for the Sony Playstation 3 for just $39.97! They currently sell on Amazon for $63.15, and it’s normally $59.99 on Newegg (but it’s out of stock). This order will also qualify as free shipping!

This Turtle Beach Earforce Headset for the Sony PS3 allows gamers to hear crystal clear sound while they play against online players. You’ll be able to hear all the music and sounds of your video games, and comfortably chat with your fellow online gamers with this headset.

The only headset I personally tried out while playing against other gamers online was the stock one that came with my Xbox 360 elite system back in 2008. Since it was a very basic headset, it just couldn’t sustain the sound quality that these professional high grade headsets can. However, even though the sound quality wasn’t the greatest, I thought that it was very useful for my online gaming sessions.

The Turtle Beach Earforce Headset looks sleek and comfortable to wear. There are some mixed reviews on these Turtle Beach Earforce Headsets, but I’ve included a brief review from a satisfied Best Buy customer below:

Greatest headset to own so far. Comfort is great on these, can hear clearly. Only problem is when you have it on mute and someones talking, it says your talking too, but thats not such a big problem, anyways 5/5 stars.

Quantities are very limited, so if you’re looking for a headset for your PS3 system, perhaps you should check these out. I hope you all enjoy your day, Bargainmoosers!

Clementine Fields Coupon Code: 10% Discount Sitewide TODAY

Clementine Fields Coupon Code: 10% Discount Sitewide TODAY

Clementine Fields does not often release coupon codes so I am happy to bring you a 10% off coupon code with no minimum required! This coupon is for today only, so get buying your natural beauty supplies!

Click here to shop @ Clementine Fields Canada now

  • Coupon Code: fall10
  • Discount: 10% off site wide
  • Expiry: 23rd September 2014

They also have a free gift with purchase deal on right now. Spend $200 or more and receive a free Pai Rosehip Oil (full size) valued at $40. I own a bottle of this stuff that it is heavenly for very dry skin and I hear it also helps with scars and stretch marks. I am just terrible at putting oils on consistently, so I have not seen any improvement myself.

This coupon is a bit early for me! I have a shopping list for October of things I need to buy from Clementine Fields. I recently purchased the Kjaer Weis – Foundation in Like Porcelain for $76. Though it is the most expensive foundation I have ever purchased, it is worth every cent as it is the perfect skin tone match for me and my skin does not react to it one bit. You can purchase the foundation for $68.40 after coupon. If you already have the compact as I do, you can also just buy refills. A foundation refill costs $45, but after coupon, it comes down to $40.50.

I will not need a refill for a while as this foundation lasts for ages. What I do need is a new foundation brush. I have a brush from Alima that is shedding little black specks into my foundation. Not only is it annoying, it cannot be that healthy for my skin either. On my shopping list is the Kjaer Weis – Foundation Brush that retails for $36 but comes down to $32.40 after coupon.

I also plan to re-purchase a bottle of Osmia Spot Treatment, but it is out of stock right now. I use it for both acne and cuts. It prevents my cuts from being infected (like hydrogen peroxide) but it does not kill the skin so I heal faster and better. I also want to try the Zoe Organics – Breathe Balm as I have developed a bit of a cough at night. The product only costs $15 regularly, but you can save a bit with this coupon and buy the balm for $11.70.

Orders of $75 or more ship free. Under that, pay $8 for shipping. For any future Clementine Fields coupon codes check out the forum.

WalMart Canada: Batman Hero Buddies 2 In 1 Plush Figure | Was $40 Now $10

Posted by on September 23, 2014 at 11:07 AM

WalMart Canada: Batman Hero Buddies 2 In 1 Plush Figure | Was $40 Now $10

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s… a Batman Hero Buddies 2 – In – 1 plush figure for only $10?! Yes, I know that was a botched Superman reference, but this deal is so hot that it doesn’t even matter – WalMart currently has this adorable plush Batman figure on clearance for $10, and it normally costs $39.94. That’s $29.94 in savings! Plus, you’ll be able to get free shipping! What a deal!

This Batman Hero Buddies 2 – In – 1 Plush Figure is a very interesting item. You can hear this iconic superhero speak when you press the emblem on his chest, and you can even quickly change his form into an all black armour mode! They had some cool products available when I was a kid, but this is one cool plush figure!

When it came to superheroes, there weren’t many of them that really intrigued me. The ones that I tended to like the most were Batman, Spiderman, and the X-Men. However, even though I bought several comic books back in the day, I was more interested in reading the many advertisements that littered those newspaper – like pages (and they said I was a normal child!)

I really enjoyed the latest Batman movies, and it’s safe to say that the franchise has enjoyed a very successful resurgence after Batman Begins was released in 2005. After all, the previous Batman film seemingly turned away many fans (Batman & Robin) – I guess people just didn’t want to see George Clooney and Arnold Schwartzenegger duke it out on the big screen.

This Batman Hero Buddies 2 – In – 1 Plush Figure normally costs $39.94 at WalMart, and $30.06 on Amazon. I’ve included a brief review from a satisfied Amazon customer below:

My grandson is two years old and a batman lover. This item was so much fun for him. It was large for him and soft and cuddly. He was able to play other it and sleeps with it. It is very easy for him to play with.

If you or someone you know is a fan of The Dark Knight, then this plush is a fantastic buy! Get them while they’re still available, Bargainmoosers!

The Source Canada: Acoustic Research Indoor/Outdoor Wireless Speaker 2 Pack (Refurbished) | Was $250 Now $69

Posted by on September 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM

The Source Canada: Acoustic Research Indoor/Outdoor Wireless Speaker 2 Pack (Refurbished) | Was $250 Now $69

For a limited time, you can save big on some high quality wireless speakers at The Source! If you act fast, you can nab some refurbished Acoustic Research Indoor/Outdoor Wireless Speakers for just $68.73! What makes this deal so enticing is the fact that they normally retail for $249.99. Purchasing these speakers will also qualify you for free shipping. If you’ve been looking for a wireless speaker solution that’s compatible with smartphones, then these Acoustic Research Indoor/Outdoor Wireless Speakers should easily accommodate your needs.

These Acoustic Research Indoor/Outdoor Wireless Speakers are very versatile – not only can you connect your smartphone to it, but you can also use each speaker independently if you want to. Let’s say your husband wants to listen to his music while working in the backyard – he can still do that while you’re listening to your own music that’s playing from the other wireless speaker that you’re listening to indoors.

You can also choose to have these speakers connected to an electrical outlet, or you can make them completely portable by putting 6 AA batteries in each speaker. You’ll also be able to enjoy crystal clear reception for up to 45 metres.

I have some wireless speakers hooked up to my television set (it’s an affordable surround sound solution at the moment), and I really enjoy them. They’re also great for any time that I need to get some chores done, since they can play back my music clearly without any issues. I did have a Centrios wireless speaker dock that didn’t work very well, but my new wireless speakers work great.

Similar Acoustic Research wireless speakers currently cost $138.99 at Costco (you’ll also need a membership), and $129.99 on Amazon.  These Acoustic Research Indoor/Outdoor Wireless Speakers have some great reviews, and I’ve included a snippet of one review from a satisfied Amazon customer below:

I have had it running for about 10 hours on a single set of six AA batteries and they have not shown any sign of weakening yet… This is a great speaker and a useful tool. There are many options for portable wireless speakers, but this one is reasonably priced and the wireless signal and the sound quality are very good. I am having a lot of fun with this.

These clearance deals at The Source don’t last long, so get these speakers while you still can! Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

WalMart Canada: RCA 32″ Direct LED HDTV Television Only $169

Posted by on September 23, 2014 at 10:00 AM

WalMart Canada: RCA 32 Direct LED HDTV Television Only $169

With the recent influx of television deals, it would be a difficult choice to not replace your older CRT TVs. Though our tube shaped televisions have provided us with plenty of years of entertainment, flat screen TVs are becoming even more affordable. For example, today’s deal at WalMart is for an RCA 32″ Direct LED HDTV compatible TV, and it’s only $169! This 32″ RCA  LED TV normally costs $279 at Canadian Tire, which shows you just how affordable this TV is. You’ll also get free shipping from WalMart for this 32″ TV!

This is the perfect TV for a bedroom, a garage, or a basement setup. 32 inches is plenty of room for a secondary TV, especially if you plan to just use it to play video games on. The RCA 32″ Direct LED television also has 2 HDMI inputs and a VGA input, so you can easily hook up your laptop or desktop computer to this TV. Though it can only display up to a 720p resolution, you can’t go wrong for $169.

My brother actually has a 32″ LCD TV set up in his home gym, and he finds it incredibly useful. It may not have the best quality, but he still enjoys it for what it is – a way to watch television while working out. Plus, he purchased it roughly 5 years ago for about $550, so you can really see the value in WalMart’s current deal.

I’ve included 2 brief reviews of the RCA 32″ Direct LED TV from satisfied WalMart customers below:

I am very satisfied with this 32 inch RCA TV. The price was great and the free delivery very speedy. I have not been a regular Walmart customer, but will certainly shop on-line with you again.

I bought this TV online at an AWESOME price. It was the best price anywhere. I have continued looking at the price in flyers over the past few weeks and it is at least $50.00 more in all other stores when it is on sale.I loved the free shipping too.

This TV is an affordable solution for those that want to replace the old tube television that’s in their basement. Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

Staples Canada: Canon PIXMA Wireless All In One Colour Printer (MX922) | Was $200 Now $90

Posted by on September 23, 2014 at 9:10 AM

Staples Canada: Canon PIXMA Wireless All In One Colour Printer (MX922) | Was $200 Now $90

Looking for an affordable way to scan and copy your pictures and documents? The Canon PIXMA MX922 wireless all – in – one colour printer can do just that – and of course, you can use it as a printer, too! Normally retailing for $199.94, you can currently get it from Staples for just $89.94! Your order will also qualify for free shipping. This deal is only on for a limited time (it actually expires today), so get this while it’s hot!

With the Canon PIXMA MX922 wireless all – in – one printer, it’s no surprise that you can do so much with it. You can easily print, copy, scan, and fax documents with this machine (yes, there are still instances when you may need to fax documents or photos). It even has a 3″ LCD screen built into it so you can edit and print documents and photos on the fly, and you can have up to a maximum of a 9600 x 2400 colour dpi for high quality printing.

I personally have a wireless all – in – one printer, and I’m very satisfied with it. There are many times when I’ll need to scan documents, and a wireless printing solution is especially important in a condo, so it really suits my daily needs. Plus, you can’t go wrong with a Canon! Though I’ve had issues with several of my previous printers, I haven’t had any issues with my Canon all – in – one printer yet.

This deal at Staples is pretty impressive – after all, the Canon PIXMA MX922 printer sells for $183.10 on Amazon, and it costs $199.99 on Canon’s Canadian website. I’ve listed a brief review of this all – in – one printing solution from a satisfied Amazon customer:

This is a GREAT multifunction printer! It does it all – prints, scans, copies and faxes – and all wirelessly. It has two separate trays for loading paper and other media (printable discs, photo paper) and the print quality is extremely good. It was super easy to setup and works like a charm. The only drawback – it prints quickly but not at lightning speed.

This deal at Staples expires today, so if you’re looking for a new printer that has plenty of versatility, take advantage of this deal now! Happy hunting, Bargainmoosers!

Toms Canada: New Sale Section & $5 Off

Posted by on September 23, 2014 at 9:00 AM

Toms Canada: New Sale Section & $5 Off

Toms has introduced a new sale section with 25% off select styles. This is great if you’ve been wanting Toms but not wanting to pay full price. On top of this deal, you can use the coupon code FALL and get another $5 off any spend over $25.

The new sale section is interesting because some items show the regular price and sale price and some only show the sale price. As with all sale sections, some sizes are also limited.

I’m totally loving these black space dyed men’s canvas classics for my husband. He needs a good slip-on shoe to take him on errands and even in the workplace. I know he loves unique and classy shoes and these fit the bill. They are a fantastic deal with a regular price of $65, and on sale for $40.50, but add the coupon code on top of this and score these shoes for only $35.50. I had my credit card out and ready to get these, but they are out of his size, with more of the smaller and larger sizes available.

Instead, I might have to get him the black linen classics, which do have his size and are on sale for $40.50 ($35.50 with coupon), down from $65.

If you have a little girl who loves Toms as much as you do, she’ll love these pink daisy biminis. They are super cute and great for wearing to school with dresses or pants. You’ll love that you’ll spend only $26.50 instead of $48 on these!

For myself, I love these baltic dip dyed women’s crochet classics. These were also $65 regularly with a sale price of $44.25, which comes down to $39.25 after coupon. I already have the red classics so I want a shoe that provides the same comfort with a completely different look and these definitely do that.

Shipping is absolutely free from Toms until October 27th, no matter what you order. In order to maximize your savings, if you are buying more than one pair I would do separate orders as you can use the coupon in each instance. Toms are pretty amazing shoes and if cost was stopping you, now is the time to jump in and get yourself a pair or two (or three). There is also a large selection of sunglasses on sale too.

Canadian Freebie: Gucci Premiere Eau de Toilette Sample (Facebook)

Posted by on September 22, 2014 at 9:30 PM

Canadian Freebie: Gucci Premiere Eau de Toilette Sample (Facebook)

Head on over to Facebook to request your free sample of Gucci Premiere Eau de Toilette.

I love freebies, and perfume freebies are no exception. It is really hard to tell what a perfume does on your skin when you are standing in an oasis of scents at your local perfume counter. Perfume samples are totally the way to go, and it is even better when you get them for free. Take advantage of this freebie from Gucci on their newly released Gucci Premiere Eau de Toilette.

They describe the scent as:

Sparkling top notes of orange blossom and light citrus oils give way to a radiant blend of white flowers: freesia, jasmine and soft Bulgarian rose. As the fragrance dries on skin, subtle leather, patchouli and musk notes emerge.

Sounds lovely, but then again all perfume descriptions sound pretty nice to me. I have no idea how large a sample this is, but I am really hoping for the little vial instead of the soaked cotton patch. I love getting the little vials of perfume because they last way longer and I can use them multiple times. While I will not be running out to buy a bottle of this anytime soon as it retails for $119 for 75ml (at Hudson’s Bay), if I like it enough I might put it on my wish list.

Oddly enough, you need to be 18 years or older to request this free sample. I have no idea why!

The freebie is live right now and I have no idea how many samples they are giving away or when this might end. Therefore, if you see this offer go dead, just drop us a comment and we will expire the deal. Thanks Moosers! Hope you enjoy!

Aldo Canada: Amarylice & Numata Wedges $29.98 (Save $50)

Posted by on September 22, 2014 at 9:00 PM

Aldo Canada: Amarylice & Numata Wedges $29.98 (Save $50)

Aldo Canada has a good sale on both the Amarylice and Numata Wedges. Originally $80 a pair, these shoes are now on sale for $29.98 with one colour as low as $24.98.

The Amarylice is available in either cognac or black. The upper is made of synthetic material with a rubber lower. These wedge heel sneaker style shoes are so very popular right now. I have actually been meaning to get a pair for myself, as they would look fabulous with both full length and crop jeans. These sneakers have a padded high top and are both lace-up and have a single Velcro strap. The wedge heel stands 3.5 inches tall. They have a bit of a sheen to them, which will please many fashion lovers. The cognac is the cheapest option of all the shoes. Originally $80, they are on sale for $24.98. The black costs $29.98 (originally $80).

I highly prefer the Numata wedge. It features a sportier look with a perforated textile upper and three chunky Velcro straps. There are no laces on this shoe. The thick tongue adds to the sport appearance. While I usually wear all black, I love these wedges in ‘ice’ – a sort of white colour – because it really highlights the various textures coming together. I also think they would look fantastic with more casual knit skirts as well as jeans and leggings. Originally $80, the black and the ice are on sale for $29.98 each.

Both styles and all four colours have good size availability with some colours still having full stock. With autumn now here, many girls who like their heels are switching to shoes with a bit more foot coverage. These wedge sneakers are a great way still to work casual heels into your wardrobe while having the warmth of fabric all the way up to your ankles.

Shipping is free on orders of $60 or more. Yet, do not worry about hitting that minimum because shipping is only a $5 flat rate. They also just introduced a ‘ship to store’ feature. During checkout, you should have the option to have your order shipped to your local Aldo store free if there is one close enough. Sign up for Aldo’s newsletter to receive 10% off your first order. I am not sure if that coupon will be stackable with the clearance section, but you can always try.

Hudson’s Bay Canada: Up to 70% Off Vases & Glass Decor

Posted by on September 22, 2014 at 6:30 PM

Hudsons Bay Canada: Up to 70% Off Vases & Glass Decor

The Bay Canada is offering generous discounts on glass vases and glass decor currently. Save 60% on vases and 70% on general glass decor in their clearance section.

As per usual, I have spent some time hunting down all the best deals for you. Let us start with the vases first.

This GLUCKSTEINHOME Short Textured Glass Vase features a wide body and a narrow mouth to keep your flowers upright while holding a good deal of water and flower food for your beauties. It is a beautiful accent to your kitchen table. Originally $49.99, the glass vase is now on sale for $19.99.

For a taller version of the preceding vase, purchase the GLUCKSTEINHOME Tall Textured Glass Vase. They would look lovely as a pair staged together or placed apart. The height of this vase would make it a good centerpiece for your coffee table or end table. Originally $69.99, the vase is on sale for $27.99.

My favourite of the vases is the GLUCKSTEINHOME Tall Textured Glass Vase in Blue. It has a different textured pattern and the most stunning blue colour. I am sure water would just sparkle through this vase and it would be a stunning accent whether or not it had water in it. The frosted top half with beveled bottom half is sheer elegance! Originally $69.99, the vase is on sale for $27.99.

There are also a couple decorative bottles on sale for 70% off their original price. I am not sure if you can actually put anything in these bottles (like flowers or whatnot), but they are pretty and would certainly be great for decorating a room.

The POLS POTTEN Milky Bottle reminds me of old-school milk jugs with a modern twist. I like the strong white colour and, what appears to be, a slight uneven shape to the glass. The opening at the top also appears very small, so if you did use it as a vase I think only a couple stems could fit in it. Originally $75, the bottle is on sale for $22.50.

Match your milky bottle with the POLS POTTEN Tall Bottle in amber. The colours will complement each other nicely and the different sizes will look good when put together on a mantel, nightstand, or table. Originally $75, this bottle is also on sale for $22.50.

Receive free shipping on any order of $99 or more. When paying with your HBC card you will receive free shipping on $49 or more.

Topdrawers Canada: 40% Off Diesel Gear Men’s Socks, Wallets, & More

Posted by on September 22, 2014 at 6:00 PM

Topdrawers Canada: 40% Off Diesel Gear Mens Socks, Wallets, & More

Top Drawers Canada has a selection of Diesel Gear men’s socks, wallets, and more on sale in their clearance section for 40% off.

There are five socks designs that were $16 and are now $9.60:

There are also two pairs of socks that were $13 and are now on sale for $7.80. These are both ankle socks.

This is a good price for brand name socks coming from a person who buys brand name socks! Ankle socks are generally cheaper because they use less fabric, and I am a big fan of ankle socks myself. I tend to wear through them faster than the rest of my socks because I wear them more. They are great for slipping on with sneakers or just wearing around the house. I love how bright and colourful the Diesel blue and orange coloured socks are.

The other big deal from Diesel is their wallets for men. Receive 40% off all their wallets no matter what the starting price. The Diesel Output Processor Wallet in Navy was $45 and is now on sale for $27. A basic, hardworking, techno-fabric wallet that will last you for years. This wallet also comes in Green  or in Black.

There are three other wallets to choose from as well. The Diesel Neela XS Wallet Brown was $72 and is now on sale for $43.20. It is made out of leather, which is my preferred material for a wallet as it ages well. The same wallet design also comes in a wicked print: check out the Diesel Neela XS Wallet ‘Only The Brave”. It is not made of leather so it costs a little less. Originally $59, it is now $35.40.  Lastly, the Diesel Hiresh Small Wallet Camo is also available for $60, originally $100. It is the most expensive option and not worth it in my opinion as the Neela line looks better!

There are a few men’s leather bracelets and a bodybag (not the kind you carry bodies in – you sicko!) also available in the Diesel Gear 40% off sale. If you are placing an order, you may want to check them out as well.

Shipping starts at $9.95 and depends on how many items you are ordering.

Kitchen Stuff Plus Coupon Code: 40% Off EasyLock Storage

Posted by on September 22, 2014 at 5:30 PM

Kitchen Stuff Plus Coupon Code: 40% Off EasyLock Storage

KitchenStuff Plus is offering 40% off all easylock storage containers of varies sizes this week. Use the following coupon code to receive your discount online. For in store use, print of the included coupon as well.

Click here to shop Easy Lock containers @ KitchenStuff Plus now

  • Coupon Code: LOCK917
  • Discount: 40% off easylock containers
  • Expiry: 28th September 2014

If you have a local Kitchen Stuff Plus store, then print off the following in store coupon and take it with you. The printable coupon is only valid on in-stock easy lock containers (no rain checks).

The discount is off the regular price. Right now, the containers are 25% off, which is not combinable with this coupon code. Instead, you will receive 40% off.

I am a huge fan of containers that can be used for simplifying organization. I currently use large mason jars for baking goods and small glass jars for my spices. Unfortunately, they are not stackable and the shape of the mason jars is not very space efficient as the bulge at the bottom and tapper towards the top. They tend to take up a great deal of space since they cannot be organized upwards, only side by side. That is why these easylock containers from Kitchen Stuff Plus really appeal to me. You can stack them on top of each other and create a wall of goods. While I love my mason jars, they also only came in a couple sizes whereas the easylock containers come in many different sizes that I can use for a variety of items.

This KSP Easylock 1.7L Acrylic Canister with Locking Lid (Clear) costs $8.99 regular price. After coupon code, pay just $5.39. Load it up with pasta noodles, carrots, or celery sticks. I could put an entire box of spaghetti in there!

The KSP Easylock 1L Acrylic Canister with Locking Lid (Clear) was $7.99 and comes down to $4.79 after coupon code. I would buy several of these for my baking supplies. They could hold raisins, chocolate chips, walnuts, almonds, shredded coconut, and more. There are many different sizes of containers to choose from and you can mix and match to fit your needs. Use these to organize your kitchen, your office, or your children’s art supplies. You could even use these in your garage.

Receive free shipping on $75 or more. Shipping under $75 depends upon your order size and to where you are shipping. For future Kitchen Stuff Plus coupon codes, visit our forum.

Sears Canada: Brica Right Height Baby Bath Centre – Just $6

Posted by on September 22, 2014 at 4:00 PM

Sears Canada: Brica Right Height Baby Bath Centre Just $6

So many baby pictures on Bargainmoose today but this deal was just too good to pass on telling all of you moosers! At Sears right now, you can get the Brica Right Height bath centre for just $5.99!

Bathing a baby can sure be challenging at times, especially when they are still in the newborn stage but baths like these certainly simplify the much necessary task. This bath is suitable for babies as young as newly born all the way up to two years of age as it is composed of a larger bath and a newborn insert that can be positioned in three different ways. The great part about the newborn insert is that it can also be tilted forward to ensure that your baby is ultra comfy.

Even better is that this Brica bath can be clipped onto a stepping stool in order to raise it and make it more comfortable for the parent(s) to bathe the baby. That same stool can also be used later as an actual stepping stool for kids to brush their teeth at the sink for instance.

Although Sears doesn’t list this bath centre as being on sale, $6 is an incredible price to pay for a baby bath. The next comparable one they have in stock is the Summer Infant newborn-to-toddler fold away baby bath but even that one is significantly pricier at $25.49 (reg. $29.99).

At Toys R Us, the cheapest one its kind is the Summer Infant Right Height bath center for $39.99, which is actually very perplexing because the picture used for that one is the exact same as the one use for Brica’s baby bath at Sears and they both have the same exact features. It’s a rather interesting “coincidence” for sure, so if you have been eyeing the Summer Infant one or if you just have been looking to get a baby bath in general, then the $6 Brica is definitely a worthy choice, especially since I would argue that it has a $40 value, hence putting this deal at a 85% discount!

Sears ships all orders over $99 for free, so if you only get this bath, then you would be looking at a $7.95 shipping fee. You can also choose to have it shipped to your local Sears store for free instead.

Boston Pizza Canada: Donate $5 & Get 5 Free Kids Meals

Posted by on September 22, 2014 at 3:30 PM

Boston Pizza Canada: Donate $5 & Get 5 Free Kids Meals

Do you like dining out with your kids? No? Me either! But, sometimes it is a necessary evil as kids like to eat and sometimes you just don’t want to cook! Boston Pizza is giving you a great incentive to give to charity and take your kids out for dinner. Donate $5 to the Boston Pizza Foundation Future Prospects and you’ll be rewarded with a kids card valid for five free kids meals.

My husband always balks when I suggest a dinner out with the kids. They drink too much chocolate milk, get a little overactive and ask if its time to go before we’ve even bitten into our meal. To make matters worse, I am a true foodie and I like going to expensive and really kid-unfriendly restaurants. I’ve had to learn to size it down a bit and enjoy more family type restaurants like Boston Pizza. I recently ate a Boston Pizza with two friends and our total of five kids and it was a very nice experience. The kids all ate their food and loved their desserts and my food was definitely good.

Boston Pizza doesn’t just serve pizza and they even have some healthy options. There is lots of choice for the kids meals too with everything from mini cheeseburgers to grilled cheese and spaghetti. The side dishes aren’t just fries either. You can get steamed vegetables or salad or veggies and dip or of course, fries. Kids also get a drink and dessert with their meals plus a kids pack to keep them busy so you can eat. These meals are $6.99 and you are getting five free with this $5 donation, which is pretty sweet. You can only get one kids meal per adult meal purchased. For me, that works out. I have three kids but two kids always share, so when hubby and I go out, we can get the kids all free with this deal.

If you are wondering what the charity does, it is partnered with a bunch of organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters, Kids Help Phone, the Rick Hansen Foundation and more. Feel good while treating yourself and your family.

Chapters Indigo Canada: Buy a Fitbit Flex & Get The Body Reset Diet Free

This week at Chapters Indigo if you buy a Fitbit Flex, you’ll get Harley Pasternak’s The Body Reset Diet: Power Your Metabolism, Blast Fat & Shed Pounds in Just 15 Days free!

Sometimes when you see gift with purchase deals, they sound like a great deal, but either the regular price is inflated or sells for more than other stores. It is sort of just a lure because people love to get free stuff. In the case of this deal, there is no lure, this is a great deal.

First of all, the Fitbit Flex sells for $99.95 at Chapters Indigo. This is what it sells for everywhere else. I didn’t see it on sale at one store. Second, the book at regular price is $24, but on sale for $17.33. No matter what the price of the book, you are getting it free while paying the price for the Fitbit that you’d pay anywhere. If you were considering a Fitbit, now might be the time.

I’ve really heard great things about this book and I actually really want to get it. I just feel like my body needs a reset. I am not one for fad diets, but they say that doing something over and over again makes it a habit so I could see resetting my body and staying on a maintenance type plan being a lifestyle for me once I’ve forced myself to do it for the 15 days.

As for the Fitbit, I’d love one of these too. With my birthday coming up, this would make a fabulous gift for me (hint, hint). I have just started working out again and trying to eat clean every single day. I also walk my kids to and from school each day, which is actually quite a trek when you are doing it four times over (1.25 km each way), and I’d love to see what the results of how much I actually do in a day will amount to. Never mind being a mom of three who really never stops!

It has some great reviews and this one looks very honest:

I am really enjoying my fitbit flex. I had seen it other reviews it was difficult to set up, so I was somewhat nervous about that part.  As completely un-techy as I am I found the set up quite simple.  You just have to remember to recharge every ~ 5 days or the count will be off.  Had I heard about it before, I probably would have bought the fitbit force instead: it counts stairs climbed as well.  Overall, great product and it syncs easily with many other fitness apps.  May give you that extra push you need to stay active.

Chapters Indigo offers free shipping when you spend over $25, which you are undoubtedly doing here, so you’ll get that little perk with this offer.
