Get a Free 7 Piece Gift Set With Your Lancome Purchase of $36 or More @ Sears.ca

Posted by on January 26, 2015 at 9:37 PM

Get a Free 7 Piece Gift Set With Your Lancome Purchase of $36 or More @ Sears.ca

Sears Canada always has these great promotions where you can get a free 7 or 8 piece gift set when you spend a certain amount of money on specific products. This time, you can get a free 7-Piece Gift Set when you spend $36 or more on Lancome products at Sears.ca. This particular Lancome 7-Piece set is valued at $165, so this is quite the freebie if you ask me.

Lancome Paris makes great products, I am sure it will be easy to find $36 worth of their beauty and cosmetic items to add to your Sears.ca shopping cart. Once you add $36 worth of Lancome items to you cart, add your free gift of beauty to your cart as well. This set will be automatically discounted, no need for a coupon code.

Your free Lancome gift of beauty is valued at $165 and includes:

  • Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector 7mL
  • Renergie Lift Multi-Action Lifting and Firming Cream 15mL
  • Colour Design Sensational Effects Eye Shadow 3,6g
  • Colour Design Lip Pretty Burgundy 4g
  • Hypnose Doll Lash Effect Mascara 4mL
  • Exclusive Lancome Cosmetic Bag
  • Bi-Facil Double action Eye makeup remover 50mL

You will be limited to one gift set per customer, while supplies last. This offer ends on the 17th of February 2015 so you have some time to make use of the savings. The Exclusive Lancome Cosmetic Bag is cute. It says “j’aime Paris”, which means “I love Pairs”. I am assuming that they are referring to Lancome Paris, but we love Paris, France too.

If you are wondering what products to purchase to make your total $36, I might have some insight. While the makeup brushes may seem way over priced, they are great quality. They are all around $30 so it would bring you to your $36 total rather quickly.  I would suggest going for something like Lancome FLash Bronzer Tinted Self-Tanning Leg Gel which is $38. I bet all of our legs are a pasty white right now. With spring on the way, it can be a little embarrassing to throw on a pair of shorts when our legs are so pale. Tanning beds are not exactly healthy for you and your skin, so why not try this tinted leg gel to get your tan started?

You can get free shipping from Sears Canada, but you will have to spend $99 or more after discounts. Otherwise shipping will cost you $7.95 to have your purchase and free gift set shipped to anywhere in Canada.

Home Depot: Makita Cordless Screwdriver w/ 80-pc Bit Set Only $40 & Free Shipping

Posted by on January 26, 2015 at 3:30 PM

Home Depot: Makita Cordless Screwdriver w/ 80 pc Bit Set Only $40 & Free Shipping

Hurry over to Home Depot Canada to pick up this Makita 4.8 Cordless Screwdriver with 80 Piece Bit Set for just $39.97 with free shipping.

While Home Depot does not list the original price of this set, I have done some research. Here is what this set sells for at other retailers:

  • $58.99 @ Shop.ca (OOS)
  • $44.99 + $7.99 shipping @ Elite Tools Canada
  • $50.99 + $20.74 shipping + $4.95 handling @ Black Rock Tools Canada

Elite Tools lists the original price of this set as $89.99 while Black Rock Tools lists the original retail price as $80.99. No matter where I looked, this set was cheapest at Home Depot and the free shipping offer really makes the entire deal shine.

This tool is listed as professional grade and made for serious do it yourself-ers. The screwdriver has a LED job light and an independent on/off switch with forward and reverse modes as well. There is an adjustable hinged handle for getting into hard to reach places or placing screws close to a 90-degree angle. The soft grip handle is comfortable to hold for longer periods of time.

The battery comes built in. One customer wanted to know if the battery is lithium, and he received this response from another customer:

No, it is a built-in Ni-Cad battery that is expensive to replace. I have had mine for close to five years and the battery is pretty well done. Once the battery goes, you throw it out and buy a new one. At that price you can’t go wrong. Good little screwdriver for the money.

That is a pretty good battery to last for five years. I also think you are getting incredible value for your money as you not only get the screwdriver, but also an 80-piece bit set with your purchase. For $39.97 and free shipping, you cannot go wrong.

According to Makita, the set also comes with a charger for the battery. I expected this, but sometimes sets just do not come with everything you need. The handy plastic case will keep the charger, buts, and screwdriver organized and together at all times.

This set is sold online only, and currently ships in five to nine days. I took my cart all the way to where I need to enter my credit card info, and the set is still showing as in stock for me as of this time. However, it could sell out at any time.

Amazon.ca: Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist Was $20 | Now $14 & Free Shipping

Posted by on January 26, 2015 at 3:15 PM

Amazon.ca: Tom Clancys Splinter Cell Blacklist Was $20 | Now $14 & Free Shipping

A secondary seller (biddeal) on Amazon Canada has discounted Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist Day 1 Xbox 360 game from $19.99 down to $14.39 with free shipping.

There are two reasons why this deal is very good. First, you receive free shipping on the game without a minimum. Second, the price from Biddeal on Amazon Canada is better than anywhere else I can find this game. Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist costs $19.99 at EB Games plus shipping. While not in stock online at Walmart Canada, my closest stores are selling the Xbox 360 version for $21.

Amazon.ca: Tom Clancys Splinter Cell Blacklist Was $20 | Now $14 & Free Shipping

So, what is the game all about? Well, the good ol’ United States has forces in about two-thirds of the world’s countries and some of them are quite fed up with it. They start a blacklist of escalating attacks on US interests both at home and abroad. Sam Fisher must try to stop these attacks and find out who is behind it all before it is too late. If that sounds like a riot to you, then pick up the game. The game has many good reviews on Amazon including this one:

I’m a long time splinter cell fan and have always loved the series. This is one of the best games of 2013 IMO. A lot better and longer then conviction, but it has that conviction feel, which is a good thing. I haven’t tried the multi-player yet but I’ve heard good things. The side missions were also really nice

The game allows you to build your own playing style and rewards you for your choices instead of punishing you for not playing one specific way. Co-op play is back with plenty of maps and mission. There is also a spies versus mercenaries mode for asymmetrical game play. There is plenty to do and tons of options to customize your fun. There are really interesting features where Sam can abduct and carry enemies as well as kill multiple enemies at one.

Now, if you have a PS3, not all is lost. Amazon Canada is selling the PlayStation 3 version for $15.12 but shipping is only free on orders of $25 or more. Again, this is far cheaper than the competition as EB Games has the same game for $19.99 new and you would have to pay additional shipping on that as well. However, that free shipping minimum makes it not as good of a deal as the Xbox version from the secondary-seller on Amazon.

Canadian Freebie: Free Radical Roach on Steam @ Indie Gala

Posted by on January 26, 2015 at 2:52 PM

Canadian Freebie: Free Radical Roach on Steam @ Indie Gala

Do you love free games? Then request your free Steam Key for Radical Roach Deluxe Edition at Indie Gala. The game is valued at $7.79, but is on sale for $1.16 this week at Steam Powered. No matter what you want to consider the ‘value’ of this game, either way you will pay $0 for it.

The steps are simple. Enter your email address in the banner near the top of the page that shows the free Steam giveaway. You can uncheck the newsletter box if you do not want to be subscribed. Click “Redeem” and then fill out the captcha. You will then receive two emails. Click through one to access your Indie profile and find the Steam Key redemption area through there. It should look something like this:

Canadian Freebie: Free Radical Roach on Steam @ Indie Gala

Then you just click the Steam button and it will take you through the redemption process for your key. You can also gift the key to someone else. However, once you do that you will be unable to access it yourself.

According to Steam, Radical Roach is a:

fast paced shoot em’ up, set minutes after nuclear hell falls from the sky engulfing all but a few tough little bugs.

The game was just released in May and features a very explicit warning that the game is HARD. This is a single-player game where you need to defeat a barrage of enemies on every level. There are no power-ups so things are going to get bad in a hurry. Some people complain about the lack of variation on the game, that each level is like the previous one (except harder), while others praise the funny artwork, fun characters, and interesting story line.

I think the art looks pretty cool and the price is right. So why not pick this little game up and add it to your collection? I have no idea when this deal will end, so you better take advantage of it sooner rather than miss out.

Costco Canada: Blendtec Designer Series With Wildside & Mini Twister Jar Was $500 | Now $400 & Free Shipping

Posted by on January 26, 2015 at 2:30 PM

Costco Canada: Blendtec Designer Series With Wildside & Mini Twister Jar Was $500 | Now $400 & Free Shipping

Costco’s got a fantastic deal on for all of you who have been waiting for the Blendtec blender to go on sale. Save $100 on the Blendtec Designer Series mode with the Wildside and the mini twister jars. Get it for $399, with a regular price of $499 and of course, it will also ship for free.

I did a bit of research on Blendtec before I wrote this deal, making sure this is the best price out there. We’ve previously blogged about Blendtec, but on the professional series and I wanted to know what the difference was between the two. Apparently both blenders perform pretty much the same, but there have been some great changes added to this model that beat out the professional series.

It has 16 custom blending speeds, which beats out the five or ten speeds of the others. It has touch screen controls, which the other series does not have. You can of course blend almost anything in it, including making soup that you can eat right out of the jar as it warms up in the blender!

The twister jar is a nice new feature that Costco sells with this blender and other retailers do not. It lets you blend the thicker recipes like nut butters and baby food and salad dressings. Sometimes you don’t want to wash a large jar just to make a small serving of salad dressing.

This makes a fabulous Valentine’s gift for the love of your life as you might not splurge on this for yourself, but you would for the person who has always stuck by your side. Plus, you get to take advantage of what they make as well.

Shopping around, Best Buy also has this blender on for $100 off, but they don’t include the mini twister jar. Future Shop is the same. Those are the cheapest prices I’ve seen it, as there are some smaller health stores selling it for upwards of $500. This mini twister jar sells for $129.99, which makes this deal at Costco far superior over the prices at Best Buy and Future Shop.

This very recent review sums it up nicely:

I researched high end blenders for 7 years before finally deciding on the Blendtec Designer model. I tried both this and the Vitamix. I love the pre-set program cycles which I use most of the time. They work great for me, as I startle easily at loud noises and would probably not be able to hold button down long enough to do a good job…this way I just press the button and let the machine grind away! This deal for $399 with the twister jar is the best price I have ever seen and is $80 less than what I paid for the blender alone last year. The wildside jar is sold for $120-$150, so really this is like getting $220-$250 off regular price!

Dickies Canada: Flannel Shirt On Sale $25 + EXTRA 70% Off – Now Just $10!

Posted by on January 26, 2015 at 1:30 PM

Dickies Canada: Flannel Shirt On Sale $25 + EXTRA 70% Off Now Just $10!

Browsing around Dickies’ sale section, I found the long sleeve button flannel shirt on sale for $24.49 from an original retail price of $34.99 and the best part is that right now, you can use the coupon code SALE70 to reduce the price by an additional 70% and get it for just $10.50!

Just $10 for a flannel shirt is absolutely fantastic. Recently, my hubby paid around $25 for a plaid shirt with a similar appearance and yet, it’s already falling apart because it isn’t made with a durable fabric.

This Dickies on, on the other hand, is made from 100% cotton with double topstitched seams that are reinforced for extra durability.

It has also already been pre-shrunk, which means that it is unlikely that it will shrink when you wash or dry it, although it’s always worth taking extra care just to prevent any unwanted shrinkage. Make sure to read the label extra carefully but in general, Dickies clothing can easily be both machine washed and dried without any problems.

What I like about Dickies clothing is that most of it is available in a tall size, albeit at a slightly higher price tag. My hubby is 6’5″ and most flannel shirts tend to fit horribly on him with the sleeves being too short and the shirt not being long enough, so it’s definitely great to be able to choose a tall size from the drop-down menu. For this button flannel shirt, the price difference is only of $0.90 compared to the regular size once the coupon code is applied. So at checkout, it will be reduced to just $11.40.

This flannel shirt can also be had in the following three colours: red, blue or black (also featured on the picture above). The small size, however, is only available in either red or black.

Keep in mind that the Dickies coupon code mentioned above expires on February 1st and may be applied to anything in the sale section to save an extra 70% off. On top of the flannel shirt, you can also save on:

Shipping is free when you spend over $75, other a shipping fee between $8 and $15 will apply, depending on where you live.

Reebok Canada: Men’s CrossFit Nano Shoes Were $120 | Now $32 + Shipping

Posted by on January 26, 2015 at 1:11 PM

Reebok Canada: Mens CrossFit Nano Shoes Were $120 | Now $32 + Shipping

Reebok’s got a good sale going on right now, with an extra 20% discounted at checkout. I found a hot deal on men’s CrossFit Nano shoes, now only $32, with a regular price of $120. That’s a savings of $88.

There are few different styles/types of these Nanos that are on sale. The first one is the Nano 2.0 in nacho/white/club blue. I really like the look of these shoes. But, not just for looks, these shoes have all the technical capabilities you’d expect and it has amazing reviews. There are a total of 613 reviews with 596 of them giving it a five or four star rating and 478 of those alone give it the highest rating.

I find them very comfortable; good grip and firm soles give an excellent base for all activities in the gym.

While these are the 2.0 and I see that there is a 4.0 available, you’ll pay $130 for those. With such good reviews, how can the 4.0 version be worth another $100? I couldn’t find the 2.0 version anywhere else to price compare. This style has size 8 available. The green/white/blue/gravel/black is also available in sizes 7.5 and 8.

I see other styles of the 2.0 selling at Reebok for $145, so if you like those two colours and are those sizes, you’ve got yourself a fantastic deal.

If you’d like a jacket to go with those shoes, the Men’s Crossfit Denim Lite jacket is 60% off. The perfect jacket for the upcoming wet Spring weather, this lightweight jacket is great for running the trails. It was originally $120 and now only $38.40. I couldn’t find it elsewhere to price compare, but less than $40 for a Reebok running jacket seems very reasonable to me!

Shipping is free when you spend $50, so if you just get the shoes alone, you’ll be charged an extra $4.50, which is very reasonable and well worth the money you are already saving.

Lids Canada Coupon Code: 2 Toques Were Up To $75 | Now $25

Posted by on January 26, 2015 at 1:00 PM

Lids Canada Coupon Code: 2 Toques Were Up To $75 | Now $25

Lids has a fantastic deal on right now, where you can get two toques for only $25 with regular prices of $29.99 and up to $38.99. That equals a significant savings no matter which way you look at it.

Click here to shop @ Lids.ca now

  • Coupon Code: 2FCA
  • Discount: 2 for $25 toques
  • Expiry: Unknown

I sadly just got home from vacation and was hoping that maybe it would be an early spring for my return. Of course, being still January, I was sorely disappointed and its minus one million here today. I at least had that week in the sun to soothe my winter blues, but I still need something to cover my and my family’s heads in this frigid cold.

This deal from Lids is quite amazing, as if you bought two toques for $38.99 each, you’d pay $77.98, but with the coupon code, you’ll pay only $25 and save $50! You can actually get six toques for the price you’d pay for two.

A lot of the boys at my kid’s school have this Chicago BlackHawks New Era Blackout Stripe Pom Knit hat that sells for $29.99. Although we don’t live in Chicago and actually live near Toronto, I don’t see many wearing this Toronto Blue Jays New Era Blackout Stripe Pom knit hat, that also sells for $29.99. That is unfortunate as it is a nice looking hat and we should support our local team, even though baseball has yet to start for the year. I guess you could do both and get both hats for $25.

I could point you to different hats, but I’ll let you know instead that Lids has seriously every single sports team you can think of in all genres like baseball, hockey, football and more. They have over 1100 toques just for men, with a few for women and kids. Technically, toques are pretty universal so I’d think that women and kids could probably wear the men’s styles as well.

You can search by gender, but also by team, brand, colour, size and price. Price really doesn’t matter in this case as all toques will be two for $25.

Because they offer free shipping on orders over $60, it might be well worth your while to get yourself six toques, or you can ship to the store for free.

This Lids coupon is housed safely in its spot in the coupon forum, so check it out when you get a chance.

Little Burgundy: 50% Off Dr. Martens Boots

Posted by on January 26, 2015 at 12:35 PM

Little Burgundy: 50% Off Dr. Martens Boots

Little Burgundy Canada is offering 50% off select Dr. Martens Boots for women. The Serena and Pascal boots are on sale from $190 down to just $95 a pair. As they cost over $75, you will receive free shipping on your order.

As per usual, it was a mad hunt to find the true names of these boots. What Little Burgundy calls the ‘Rena’ is actually the Pascal Boot in Skins Tattoo by Dr. Martens. This is my favourite of the two styles as the black leather features bright and colourful tattoo style graphics including a bull dog, skull, cross, birds, brass knuckles, and more. The traditional eight-eye boot looks phenomenal and it will certainly make a statement on your feet. Originally $190, they are now on sale for $95. Sizes 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 are available currently. I price compared directly with the Dr. Martens Canadian website where the same boots cost $189.99 right now.

What Little Burgundy calls the ‘Valerine’, is really the Dr. Martens Serena boot. Choose from cheery red or black leather in this boot from the core collection. These boots feature a Ben outsole, tradition eight-eyelet style, soft natural grain leather, and the classic heel loop. Unlike many other styles, they also have a faux fur lining on the inside to keep your feet toasty warn during the colder months. It also feels luxurious on your toes. Here are the sizes currently in stock:

  • Cherry Red: 7, 8, 9, 10
  • Black: 6, 7, 9, 10

I also price compared these boots directly with Dr. Martens Canada. Both the cherry red and the black colours currently retail for $189.99. At Little Burgundy, the boots were $190 and are now $95. If you want to read more about the Serena or the Pascal boot, I suggest visiting the Dr. Martens website. There is not much information about the actual boot on Little Burgundy.

I wanted to mention two other Dr. mMartens boots on sale, but I couldn’t quite track down their right names. Be sure to check out the ‘Cabrovizza’ in navy: it was $175 and is now $87.50. In addition, what Little Burgundy calls the ‘Karlotta’ is on sale from $175 down to $87.50 as well in midnight black.

In my experience, women’s Dr. Martens fit a bit on the narrow side. If you have wide feet, you are better to size down in the men’s or you might need to get the leather stretched out. I have slightly wide feet myself, so I was keenly aware of the narrow width on several pairs I tried on down in Seattle. If I remember correctly though, the Pascal has a decent width. I like Dr. Martens because their soles are absurdly comfortable.

Clearly Contacts Coupon Code: $40 Off $99 & Free Shipping

Posted by on January 26, 2015 at 12:00 PM

Clearly Contacts Coupon Code: $40 Off $99 & Free Shipping

Clearly Contacts Canada is offering new customers $40 off glasses orders of $99 or more. They now offer free shipping and handling on all orders of glasses and sunglasses, thus your order will ship to your home free of charge.

Click here to shop glasses @ Clearly Contacts now

  • Coupon Code: SAVE40
  • Discount: $40 off $99 for new customers
  • Expiry: Unknown

As I have noted twice, this coupon is for new customers. That means this needs to be the first time your account has placed an order. Alternatively, you could make a new account for your partner or family member if there are multiple members in the family that need glasses. That way, you can still take advantage of this coupon code.

What does this coupon apply towards was my first question. While it may seem simple, glasses and sunglasses, I was curious if the frames had to be $99 or if the frames could be lower and the lens upgrade could bring the minimum up. I tried out these R. Hardy 9024 Dark Gunmetal men’s glasses. Originally $89, they are now on sale for $49. I then added on transitional lenses to these basic frames. The coupon worked, so the $99 minimum does not need to be solely frames. Lens coatings and upgrades also qualify.

If you do not need glasses, you may wish to consider Clearly Contact’s selection of non-prescription sunglasses. The Carrera Funky 2I7 9L Semi-Matte Black Fuchsia sunglasses were $109.99 and are now on sale for $59.99. Pick up a couple pairs; they do have different colours and styles, to receive an extra $40 off your order.

My tastes run a bit more… expensive. I need a new pair of sunglasses and have been keeping my eyes open for the right pair. Right now, I am considering a pair of either Dior Homme Black Tie 104s 807 NR Black 56 or Dior Black Tie 111S MJIJS Plum Green 55. They were both originally $199, and are now on sale for $159.99 each. After coupon code, they come down to $119.99 each. The difficulty is deciding which pair I like best. I also wish they included the depth of the lens in their measurements. I do not like really long lenses that cover too much of my face.

Now, I did not need to make an account to use the coupon code, so I assume you just need a different email address if you have used one to place an order.

For this and future Clearly Contact coupons, visit our forum.

Saved by the Bell: The Complete Collection DVD, Was $62 Now $27.49 & Free Shipping @ Amazon!

Posted by on January 26, 2015 at 7:46 AM

Saved by the Bell: The Complete Collection DVD, Was $62 Now $27.49 & Free Shipping @ Amazon!

For today only, Amazon.ca has a great price on a great little piece of nostalgia – the complete DVD collection of Saved by the Bell! Originally priced at $61.99, you can get this classic TV show for only $27.49 with free super saver shipping.

In the above DVD deal, you are getting all four seasons of this show which actually started airing in 1989. Way back in April 2014, this DVD set had dropped to $24.99 for a couple of days, but I haven’t see it that low since then. And as for a price comparison just now, the very same DVD boxset is $45 @ Staples, $46 @ Chapters, $50 @ Walmart. The Amazon price today is really great.

I am sure you are all familiar with the show, but just in case you are not, here’s a quick blurb:

A TV show centered on six students and their years at Bayside High School in Palisades, California.

I was surprised to see that this show only gets a score of 7.0/10 on IMDB, I thought it would have gotten higher ratings.

I LOVED THIS SHOW!!! I was only aged 8 at the point when the show first started, but I don’t recall watching it at that early age. However, it must have been the re-runs that hooked me, and created my first ever teenage crush… on Zack Morris, of course. Look at him now – still hot! Since Saved by the Bell, he’s been in a lot of other TV shows which you will recognise such as CSI and Weeds. It looks like he never gets major roles though; they’re usually single-episode, bit parts.

As for the other characters, actors and actresses, I recently spotted “Kelly Kapowski” (Tiffani Thiessen) with a fairly major role in the TV show White Collar. I’ve seen the first five seasons of this show and I am waiting for the next season to be made available on Netflix. And you know what? She’s hardly changed at all – you can easily recognise her as Kelly!

Take $5 Off $15, $10 Off $30 & $15 off $45 With This Coupon @ East Side Mario’s Canada

Take $5 Off $15, $10 Off $30 & $15 off $45 With This Coupon @ East Side Marios Canada

Perhaps you are planning on dining at a restaurant with your family or friends this week. If so, you will want to take a look at this new offer from East Side Mario’s restaurant Canada. For a limited time with this printable coupon, you can take up to $15 off your meal. Save $5 when you spend $15, save $10 when you spend $30 and save $15 when you spend $45. This coupon is valid until the 1st of February 2015.

Print this coupon and go into your local East Side Mario’s restaurant (excluding Newfoundland for some reason) to enjoy your savings. This coupon can only be redeemed between Sunday and Thursday unfortunately, but to be honest I prefer not to hit local restaurants on a Friday or Saturday. Sunday to Thursday you won’t have to wait so long for your meal because the restaurant will not be too busy.

Here are how these East Side Mario’s coupon savings work:

  • save $5 on your bill when you spend $15
  • save $10 on your bill when you spend $30
  • save $15 on your bill when you spend $45

At East Side Mario’s, I find it easy to spend $45. There appetizers and entrees all appeal to my taste buds. Of course, everyone has their own opinion. Get the Aqua Dragon Underwater World for Just $9 & Free Shipping @ Walmart.ca

Brrrrrrr… It is cold outside. I bet your little ones would appreciate something fun to do indoors. Why not grab one of these Aqua Dragon Underwater World toys from Walmart Canada? This product was $20, but is now on clearance sale for just $9. You will also get free shipping.

You probably remember “sea monkeys” from when you were a kid – well things just got a little more interested in the water world. Brine shrimp have been called many things to tempt the public to purchase these adorable little kids. Originally known as sea monkeys, these aquatic creatures are now being referred to as Aqua Dragons! This kit from Walmart.ca will allow you to decorate your tank and hatch your own live aquatic creatures for just $9 instead of the original price of $20.

The accessories included in this Aqua Dragon Underwater World kit are: the decorated tank, live eggs, food, air bubbler, spoon and instructions. These real live creatures are great. Set up  your decorated Aqua Dragon tank, and put some of the eggs in the water. Before you know it, your eggs will be hatching and ready to eat. Be sure to feed them as often as required (instructions included). Hatching takes 2-3 days. I will warn you that there is no way to clean the water without killing the Aqua Dragons, and the water can get gross after time.

To make sure this is the best price available, I did a little research. This is definitely the lowest price around at any retailer, and I bet stock will sell out fast. Sea Monkeys were always so popular and these little aquatic creatures are a great way to teach responsibility and routine. I used to have some on my office desk. You’ll pay $25.87 @ Amazon.caThe next best price I could find online was $12.98 @ ToysRUs.ca. Here is one of the customer reviews for this Aqua Dragon Kit from Walmart.ca:

This Aqua Dragon Underworld Kit was very easy to set up and care for. My Aqua Dragons lasted 4 months! Great little pets or an even better science project. These Aqua Dragons are fun for all ages!

While this offer is available online at Walmart.ca only, you won’t be complaining. Walmart Canada offers free shipping on all purchases – big and small. Order your Aqua Dragons kit now and you will receive it within a few days.

Bulk Barn Printable Coupon: $3 off $10

Bulk Barn Printable Coupon: $3 off $10

Bulk Barn has a new printable coupon valid for two weeks. Receive $3 off $10 in store when you print out and bring in the following coupon.

This is a very popular coupon for a lot of Moosers, so we are always happy to share one when it crops up. You will want to combine this coupon with your local Bulk Barn’s weekly promotions so click on the link here and select your province. The Bulk Barns in British Columbia appear to have many deals on Valentine’s Day themed chocolates, candy, and other baking supplies.

My husband is a big fan of Bulk Barn. He likes to go there for snack mixtures for work. Bulk Barn carries a large variety of mixtures with different ratios of nuts to dried fruit. I prefer mixtures with lots of coconut where he likes some chocolate, a bunch of nuts, and some dried fruit. In addition, he tells me, Bulk Barn has packaged foods like corn chips and such that he likes to purchase as well.

For me, the Bulk Barn is always about baking supplies. Often I do not need an entire box of something if I am working on a particular recipe. For example, I use so little Cream of Tartar that an entire container of it will expire before I ever use even one-fourth of it. At the Bulk Barn, I can purchase just what I need for one or two recipes. I can also purchase good quality chocolate for baking at a bulk price. I find the quality of chocolate makes a huge different in how a chocolate chip cookie tastes. I also like to try new baking ingredients I would never buy in ‘bulk’, but rather just sample small amounts and see how I like them.

Now, if you have a large purchase to make, I suggest splitting your shopping trip up into a couple of trips (and using the coupon twice), or sending your mate in with a printed coupon of their own and a shopping list. I will print of two coupons myself, as I can spend $10 just on dried mango to snack upon. My husband can then pick up the rest of our shopping list.
