For the many years that Bargainmoose has been on the go, we have been getting more and more emails from people commenting that they are receiving expired deals in their daily Bargainmoose email updates. I want to do a quick post to tell you a bit more about this issue.

If you ONLY read Bargainmoose via the email update, you’re going to miss out on some of the best offers! We can only send the email out once every 24 hours, so no matter when in the day we choose to send it, you’re going to miss out on some of the short-lived bargains. For example, these speakers were a 1 day only deal yesterday, or the fact that The Bay had free shipping for one day only.

So we suggest you stop by the Bargainmoose website a few times a day to see if there are any good deals to snap up, rather than relying solely on the daily emails. If you ONLY read the emails, you will probably miss out!

Since we launched our new coupon section about 6 months ago, my coupon helping Moosers have been feverishly populating the pages with all the latest Canadian coupon codes and printable coupons.

However, there’s been no easy way to keep an eye on the stores you really like, other than navigating straight to their coupon page each time you make your online purchase. But we’ve just added a new feature to the coupon section – email alerts for each store!

If you want to see all the stores we have on the coupon pages, you can see the full list here. There are a LOT of stores though, but you can use the search box at the top to find your favourites. Once you are viewing the coupons for your favourite store, just pop your email address in the area provided, and we will email you any time a new coupon is posted for that store. Here’s what you should be seeing on each store’s page:

You can use the email alerts to save money. For example, say you’ve been planning on booking a flight and you want to make sure you get the best deal. Subscribe to the email updates of the flight providers, like Westjet and Air Canada. Then sit and wait for a great coupon to pop into your inbox, straight from the Bargainmoose deal hunters. For the likes of Air Canada, they do great coupons on a weekly basis, but the Westjet promo codes only happen once every few months. Even so, you can wait and get the email updates, then decide when to book your trip.

You should be aware that some stores do coupons far more frequently than others. For example, if you subscribe to Old Navy promo codes or The Children’s Place coupon codes, you’d be getting emails a few times a week.

Hey Moosers! Just letting you all know that today we published our 10,000th post on Bargainmoose!! That’s a nice round number and a good time to blog about it. A couple of years ago I had finally made the decision to buy a smartphone. There were a bunch around but none of them were what I wanted.
